NOWOGARD - Reglair Aircraft Factory has announced its newest order from Kalopian Airlines. The Valruzian manufacturer signed a deal with the Kalopian Airlines for the production and delivery of 310 aircraft for the Kalopian flag carrier. According to Reglair the total worth of the deal is about 55 billion valruzian pesos.

The state-owned Kalopian Airlines has placed orders for 150 Reglair i1s, 100 Reglair i3s, 10 Reglair i4s, 15 Reglair i5s, 20 Reglair i7s, and 15 Reglair i8s. According to Reglair the order will be finalized within the next 10 years.

It is one of the largest non-LOT aircraft orders in decades, with the boom on the airline, the manufacturer is expecting even larger orders from all around Terra. Reglair has also announced that the works on its first ever supersonic cruiser are due to enter test flights. As for now LOT is the only customer to place orders for 10 supersonic airliners called 'Supercruiser'.

NOWOGARD - LOT Group's negotiators came back from Haldor where the first round of negotiations between the Group and the Government of Dorvik took place on the takeover of Dorvish Airways by LOT Group. They were discussing the condition of the airline which is one of the most important for the Group before the takeover. Despite the initial draft of the deal is ready, the biggest outstanding issue remains the scale of workforce layoffs post-takeover. It is estimated that around 25.000 people may lose their jobs as a result of the deal. However, the Group announced that it will do everything to minimize the scale of the problem, mainly through granting the priority of recruitment for positions in the Group to those laid off.

The leader of the LOT's delegation Katarzyna Lasocka said that LOT Group remains the only contender to takeover Dorvish Airways as it was the only one to propose such deal to the Government in Haldor. According to Lasocka, both the Group and Government of Dorvik agrees that the deal proposed by LOT guarantee the long-term development of the DA.

According to Seleya Daily's economic team, Valruzian group can pay between LOD 1.1 and LOD 1.5 billion, depending on whether all of the assets of the DA will be taken over by LOT. Initial deal put forward by LOT include taking over only the aviation part of DA, as the group is not interested in purchasing its ground handling unit. That would mean that the government in Haldor would keep the ground handling unit under the new name or look for another investor to take over the ground handling infrastructure.

LOT Group said it intends to modernize the fleet of the DA and phase out its oldest aircraft families. Currently, DA operates a fleet of 529 aircraft and the average age of its aircraft is 19.1 years which is a relatively big number. Group wants to develop both domestic and international routes network of the airline. The deal would also mean the withdrawal of the airline from the Artania Airlines Alliance as LOT Group would like its newest subsidiary to be a member of the Goldstar Alliance.

LOT announced that Rafał Pasiewski will be the new CEO and Chairman of the Dorvish Airways.

NOWOGARD - LOT Group and the Government of Dorvik have agreed to the conditions of the deal on the purchase of DA by LOT Group. Signed yesterday, the deal makes the Valruzian LOT Group the owner of 100% of the Dorvish flag airline. A significant dose of uncertainty hanged in the air prior to the signing of the deal even after the initial acceptance of the deal by both sides - LOT Group and the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of Dorvik. After just one round of negotiations, a satisfactory deal has been worked out. LOT Group will incorporate the DA to the Group over the period of upcoming 10 months. According to LOT, out of 203.100 employees of the DA, at least 4.300 will have to be laid off, but the deal between the Group and Haldor provides the priority of recruitment to those laid off.

Pasiewski, LOT's nominee for the position of CEO of the DA, said that one of the first things he will do is to officially withdraw the airline from the AA Alliance and, since the airline is now part of the Group, will automatically be admitted to the Goldstar Alliance. Pasiewski said that the logo and livery of the airline will be refreshed. Dorvish Airways will still be the flag carrier of Dorvik and will serve both domestic and international routes. New CEO said that the domestic routes network will be greatly expanded and the airline will offer new, lower ticket prices to attract new passengers, and rebuild the customer base.

Pasiewski also underlined that as for this moment LOT Group does not want to merge the airline with the Artania Airlines. Recently some roumors have been made that Valruzian LOT will intend to merge the airline with its much more succesful subsidiary Artania Airlines. According to Pasiewski LOT wants to find the best solution to recover the position of DA on the market and despite the fact that an option of merging the two airlines together was initially discussed, it quickly fell under the radar as it raised concerns of LOT’s legal team which warned about anti-monopoly laws in Dorvik. Pasiewski said that LOT gave him some time to find a way to make the airlie profitable again and only if the he fails to do so, an option to merge it with the AA will be brought back on the table.

LOT announced that the fleet of the airline will be updated and the oldest aircraft will be withdrawn and sold or scrapped. It is certain that in the future the airline will use the Reglair i3 family which is the most popular aircraft within the LOT Group used for short and medium-haul routes. Furman, CEO of the VA and the Group, said that the his company will have to be very careful with the DA as the domestic market of Dorvik is very protectionistic and if the new airline will in any way hurt the Dorvik's domestic plane manufacturer, the ADG, it may have negative connotations for the entire group.

VISION OF A NORTH SELEYAN MILITARY CONSORTIUM ON THE HORIZON AS VALRUZIANS PUT FORWARD A FORMAL PROPOSITION.

NOWOGARD - In a short period of time north Seleya can be a witness of a creation of a new international defense/military consortium as Valruzian defense industry reached out to its counterparts in Likatonia, Lodamun, Kalistan and Baltusia. According to Valruzian Armaments Group a positive feedback from all of those in question can mean a green light for creation of a north Seleyan consortium. Not much is known about the details of the talks and what would such cooperation mean for domestic industries, but experts say that Reglair might have been the key actor in the talks as for decades now it planned to gain attention of other countries in Seleya and gather a group of investors to develop and manufacture new planes for militaries of Seleyan countries. It seems as it is the best time for Reglair which succesfully soldified its position in the aviation industry, becoming the largest and most popular aircraft manufacturer.

It is almost certain that Valruzians will want to gain the attention of defense ministries in those countries to officialy formalize the cooperation (if succeded). Seleya Daily points out that such offer may be greeted with significant interest from Valruzia's neighbourg which could greatly benefit from coperation with Valruzia (especially in the military sector), as for many decades now Valruzia's military spending exceeded LOD 40 billion, while the second on the military spending list - Likatonia - spends less than half - VPO 18 billion. Easy access to the know-how of the Valruzian companies, grants from the Valruzian Ministry of National Defense and decreased economic exhaustion might attract foreign companies (especially from the military industry) to join the Valruzian's pursuit in the establishment of the consortium.

VALRUZIAN PETROLEUM WANTS TO SOLDIFY ITS POSITION BY OPENING ITS FIRST STATIONARY LNG TERMINAL NEAR KNINSK

NOWOGARD - Valruzian Petroleum, the second largest gas and oil extractor in Valruzia, third in Seleya, has just opened its first ever floating LNG terminal 1.5 kilometers off-shore west from Kninsk. WPP Valruzian Petroleum is the official name of the first floating LNG terminal which to be exact is the floating extraction vessel which equipped with the machinery allowing for regasification of LNG. Yesterday the company's officials opened the facility which today began functioning. Valruzian Petroleum wants to diversify the gas market in Valruzia, and North Seleya, dominated by the WKN Volantis, which is responsible for production and delivery of 87% of all gas and oil within Valruzia and 55% of oil and gas production in North Seleya. VP will transfer its gas through a newly built gas pipeline which currently reaches Valruzia's capital Nowogard but the initial plans include the expansion of the pipeline to Brzansk and Hel as well to other regions within Valruzia.

VP Valruzian Petroleum is, in fact, the stationary vessel, protected from the open sea by a 500-meter long breakwater capable of protecting the vessel even during the largest storm. It is the first facility of this type in Valruzia and one of the first on Terra. The vessel will regasificate 5.1 billion cubic meters of gas per year, extracted from reservoirs in the Valruzian basin. Ships carrying LNG will approach the installation, pass the LNG to the regasification vessel and then, through a series of underwater pipelines the gas will be transported inland.

Valruzian Petroleum seems to be willing to fill a niche abandoned by the WKN and it just might be the right choice, as in recent decades WKN has accumulated its focus on exploitation of reservoirs situated on land. WKN has announced that the investment in LNG is not profitable and that transportation through on-land pipelines are far more profitable and less capital-consuming.

NOWOGARD - Reglair Aircraft Factory announced that its newest and most advanced aircraft has just been given the National Commercial Air Transportation Board's certification which means that it can serve as a commercial airliner. After endless delays, Reglair has finished all test flights of its first-ever supersonic passenger airliner which is supposed to compete with Kazulian Starblaze which still undergoes test flights. According to Reglair's data, the i194 is powered by four turbojet engine with variable air intake to allow the plane to remain supersonic without the need for the afterburners to remain in use for the duration of the supersonic flight. The state-of-the-art engines were developed in cooperation with Bonning Group and the military division of Reglair. The airliner features large delta wings which stretch for 40 meters in length and has the wingspan of over 32 meters.

Similarly to the Kazulian Starblaze the airline features droppable nose section to provide its pilots with better visibility during landings. One of the characteristics of the new plane is the presence of the retractable mustache canards mounted just behind the cockpit in the upper part of the fuselage to add more lift at low speeds. The Supercruiser will be able to accommodate up to 194 passengers in a single class configuration or up to 120 in a three-class configuration. The new airliner will be able to fly with speed up to Mach 2.6 (3185 kilometers per hour) which according to Reglair is not even its maximum cruising speed but at the altitudes of 67 thousand feet (20.4 kilometers above the sea level) this speed, according to the manufacturer, allows the plane to present the best performance. The range of the Supercruiser is 8.500 kilometers which allows the plane to reach nearly all most important destinations from Nowogard without re-fuelling.

Reglair and LOT Group announced that the first Supercruiser aircraft will be delivered to the aircraft within the next year. Initially, LOT intends to purchase 20 airliners - 15 for LOT Valruzian Airlines and 5 for Artania Airlines. When asked whether LOT will equip other subsidiaries with the supersonic airlines, LOT's CEO Furman said that the Group will have to conduct extensive research to check the plane's profitability on routes will smaller demands and to find the best operational model for the new airliner. At VPO 459 million for a single unit, the i194 Supercruiser is the most expensive aircraft ever produced by Valruzian Reglair. The total value of the deal between LOT and Reglair is estimated at VPO 9.18 billion.

VALRUZIA CONDEMNS KEYMON'S AGRESSION IN KALISTAN'S PROVINCE OF VRASSA. ANNOUNCES IMMEDIATE ACTION TO BRING THE STATUS QUO ANTE.

NOWOGARD - For the first time since the beginning of the crisis in Kalistan. Until now Nowogard refrained from taking any stance on the issues of internal instabilities in Kalistan, as well as on the issue of Ananto Strait crisis. Now, as the Government of Keymon announced that it established its puppet government in Vrassa on the territories controlled due to the presence of their armed forces, stationed there as a part of Peacebuilding and Peacekeeping operation, which according to Nowogard has been established illegally and with numerous violations of the international laws and statutes. The ministry for foreign affairs of Valruzia released a brief report in which the official stance of the government has been presented to the public.

Nowogard strongly condemned Keymon for its actions and announced that its actions have been classified as hostile aggression on the sovereign and independent nation of Kalistan. Council of Ministers has announced that within 24 hours a monitoring naval operation will be deployed to monitor the situation on the coasts of Vrassa to check for any illegal weapons or troops being transported to Vrassa. MOND (Ministry of National Defense) announced that every cargo and passenger vessel including those with military registration will be forced to list all cargo and passengers before continuing its journey to Vrassa. It is sure that at least four operational groups formed of vessels of the Defense Navy will be deployed to conduct the operations. MOND announced that ORW Valparaiso corvette and other vessels of this class will be used in the operations.

Valruzia strongly opposed the military presence of non-Seleyan forces on the Seleyan continent and said that the matters of Kalistan should be resolved within Kalistan and by Kalistani people themselves. According to Nowogard Keymon conducted aggression under the cover of peacebuilding operation. Nowogard has already issued a warning note to the Government of Keymon. The ministry for foreign affairs announced that it will reach out to Government in Kaliburg to work on the solution. MOND at the same time announced that a multi-billion dollar deal has been signed with the Conservative Army of Kalistan for the delivery of 7 new Valparaiso-class corvettes, 5 Type 1 Submarines and 24 M-24 "Lynx" multirole aircraft.
