Republican Left-Stand Up get a historic victory after its renaming
The government party revalidates a new mandate sweeping the main cities and consolidating itself as the engine of the nation that demands social and economic improvements

The policy of extending social rights has seemed to work for the Republican Left: after the last elections, in which a historic participation of more than 80% of citizenship has been reached, the founding party of the modern democratic Valruzia has reaped a 51 % of the votes (31,288,365) and the absolute majority of the Sejm, which will allow it to continue introducing reforms in the country for the next four years. Valruzia changes its budgets for the first time in decades of inactivity
The Valruzian government approves new budgets aimed at increasing investment in key areas such as Education, Health, Science or Defense.

The Valruzian government has approved a modification in the nation's Budgets, in which a large increase in investment in many sectors of the country is expected.

In an appearance before the media, the secretary general of Republican Left-Stand Up and current Chancellor of Valruzia, Dimytr Bojarski, has defended the need for this modification and has announced that citizens will not be extra expense.

"The coffers of the State have been accumulating unused wealth for years, wealth of taxes that citizens paid but was not destined anywhere, creating an unused surplus. Thanks to these investments, that surplus will continue to be maintained, but it will be allowed to the different sectors of our nation a significant advance ".

As approved, investments constitute more than 203,110,000,000 VPO that will allow the nation to continue to maintain a surplus of more than 35,000,000,000 VPOs. The new expense is distributed as follows:

All Ministers agree that the level of spending of the pre-democratic era was a "shame."

"That the investment in Science and Education together was not a tenth of the investment in Defense demonstrates the need for this change. A cultured nation is a nation that progresses and survives,"

said the Minister of Science, Mrs. Rejewska.

Thanks to this investment, the Department of Defense has already confirmed that it will continue with its bunker protection plan, of which great details are not yet known. The science department will use the money to begin to immediately fund research and "recover lost time," in the words of the minister herself. The Valruzian Workingmen's Association
As Valruzian politics begin to turn once again, a new political party has joined the Sejm. Aimed at the unification of several different socialists in Valruzia, the VSR is the newest contender for the conquest of power!

Many different trade unions, freelance workers, Academe and Boheme interested in the labour movement and struggle united three weeks ago in Nowogard to discuss the current situation of the Valruzian working class. After some hours of deliberation and voting, most members of the reunion declared the foundation of a unified force that unites socialist, anarchist and communist thinkers in the country in order to organize a powerful and decisive working-class movement in Valruzia. This force became the Valruzian Workingmen's Association.

After electing their first Representative, Violetta Klosowska, a unionized journalist that took the stage with burning speeches about feminism and democracy in the workplace, the VSR made public their principles:

|1- The Valruzian Workingmen's Association is a democratic, libertarian and feminist political party aimed at uniting the Valruzian revolutionary left towards a common goal: the conquest of power and the liberation from class society. This conquest, as decided by vote, will be done in two fronts: through revolutionary means, in the streets of our nation and through reformist means, in the Sejm of our nation.
|2- The Valruzian Workingmen's Association is, most importantly, feminist and intersectional. Our members believe that a true social revolution is impossible if the women, girls and LGBTQ+ of our nation is not represented everywhere.
|3- The Valruzian Workingmen's Association is Anti-Capitalist. By this, we do not seek to simply reform our economic system to make it more humane, but completely eliminate it and change it for Participatory Economics and Local Socialism, as we believe it is only through these that Valruzia and Humanity can sustain itself and become free from class society.
|4- The Valruzian Workingmen's Association is Internationalist. This means that, wherever and whenever it is possible, the VSR will seek to establish friendly relations with other revolutionary movements across the world, as it is the only way to eliminate national barriers and subsequently, class society.
|5- The Valruzian Workingmen's Association believes all its members have free will and therefore, is non-coercitive. Members may come and go as they wish and are only asked to support the VSR as long as their own personal initiative comes first.

With these words, it seems the VSR brings a new face to Valruzian politics, and perhaps a RLW-VSR alliance may come in the near future, but only time will tell.

From the revolution in the streets to the "government of dignity"
Of those humble citizens who started the democratic revolution in Valruzia, only one is still active

In 4644, the citizens of Valruzia managed, after years of mobilization not always peaceful, that the interim government that had been in power for decades acceded to the call for democratic and free elections. The winning party was Forward Valruzia, originated by the organization of lefts with the same name that had been influencing the demonstrations and mobilizations throughout the country for years. Its most visible leaders - Maja Ciborowska, a political activist, and Dimytr Bojarski, a lawyer by profession - became Heads of State and Government of the nation, and began a series of reforms aimed at democratizing and improving the country. The other important leaders of the movement in the different regions became governors, although some such as Ludomir Zdeb (university professor of Chemistry) or Rozalia Basa (newsreader) were only in power during that first term. In the following elections, the restoration of the democratic system allowed the creation of new political parties, mostly conservative to counteract the great influence that Forward Valruzia monopolized in the leftist ideology, which seized power in the Ruzian and Chynberg regions.

For the elections of 4652, Forward Valruzia officially changed its name to Republican Left-Stand Up, to honor the movement that had given them its origin but without monopolizing the use of the name "Forward Valruzia", ​​which they thought should go down in history, the country's recent movement precisely as the democratic citizen movement that had restored rights in the nation.

Since those first elections, the Republican Left has never lost an electoral call, always staying above 45% of the vote backed by more than 20 million citizens, which allowed Dimytr Bojarski to remain in the position of Chancellor of Valruzia until his retirement in 4664, followed by Ludomir Zdeb and Rozalia Basa. Ewa Stefaniak (law professor and judge by profession), Adam Winiarski (union leader and researcher) and Korneli Donarski (journalist) endured until the last elections, in 4672, to retire, leaving Maja Ciborowska as the sole founding leader of the movement still active.

Mrs. Ciborowska has long become the most popular figure in the nation. Born in 4609 to a chef and a journalist, she is the half-sister of Adam Winiarski, Governor of Kampania until his resignation. Graduated in psychology, she started to get in contact with anarchist and communist groups that aimed to restore democracy in Valruzia at a time when there was no more than one party in the National Assembly - the Sejm - for over a hundred years, and without obtaining a citizen participation in the elections above 10 million for 20 years, and that for a decade there had been in place an acting government that directed the country in the absence of political parties.

Driven by these experiences, a few years after graduating in psychology, she began to develop, together with several university colleagues and some professors, the formation of the "Forward Valruzia" platform, with the intention of leading mass mobilizations in the streets until the total restoration of democracy and the fall of what they considered "a soft dictatorship."

On January 12, 4644 the platform launched its first call through social networks, which became an absolute success that brought millions of citizens to the streets, mainly of progressive ideology. The maintenance of the protests for months ended up forcing the interim government to an electoral call, to which the Forward Valruzia platform was already presented with Mrs. Ciborowska, who during the protests demonstrated her innate leadership capacity, as a candidate for the post of President of Valruzia.

No candidate decided to dispute her the Presidency of the country, and she ended up being elected by 11 million votes as the first elected President in more than three decades. Although a much greater participation was expected, the withdrawal at the last minute of many of her political rivals ended up tilting the balance towards abstention.

After a first term as President, in the elections of 4648 she was defeated at the polls by the conservative candidate Konstantyn Grodzicki of the Safety and Tradition party, by just 1.5 points apart. However, she knew how to reorganize her campaign and running again as a candidate in the following elections - this time under the Republican Left-Stand Up political party after the decision to abandon the name of Forward Valruzia for the platform that had managed to restore democracy - returned to the Presidency of Valruzia by more than 30 million votes (51.4% of the total). Since then, her popularity has not stopped growing and she has won re-election again and again against all the different candidates presented by the different political parties, until she achieved her maximum votes and percentage in the 4668 elections, with almost 32 million of votes and practically 60% of the census. This record was broken again in the 4672 elections, when she achieved amost 38 million votes and more than that 60%.

Asked about her political withdrawal or about her future entry into some government of her party, Mrs. Ciborowska has been clear on many occasions:

"I am in this position because the citizens want it. I am already old, and when citizens decide at the polls that they want a change of President, I will accept my defeat and retire. If I continue in politics it is because I like to help citizens, and because I fought hard to achieve the democracy we live in now. That’s why I will not enter into any future government. My place is here, in the Presidency, representing all our citizens equally, and because with their votes they have directly elected me as a person and not me as a political party. "

Defender of the rights of women and minorities, her years as a political activist have left their mark on her way of giving speeches and participating in debates, where she usually stands out above the other candidates.

However, when she is close to the age of 70, many within the party begin to think about the post-Ciborowska future, when the last leader of the founding movement of modern democracy in Valruzia decides to pass the witness to her successor. Informally nicknamed "the Empress of Valruzia" for all the time she has been in power, she prefers to talk about everything her party has achieved since then, to silence critics who accuse the Republican Left of monopolizing all power in the country - they control the legislative power from the first democratic elections because they are always the first political force; and the government.

"The people who accuse Republican Left of monopolizing power are those who also say they lived better with the dictatorship. They can't stand to see that when someone does things right, they are rewarded at the polls. In our nation, both the actions of the government as my own actions are put to the judgment of the citizens so that they are the ones who determine if we have acted correctly or not. And for the moment, they have always approved it. When the time comes when they stop doing it, it will be time to do self-criticism, but for now, we must continue working to improve everything we have built so far among all. "

NOWOGARD - Party of National Coalition which is considered to be the founding party of the Republic of Valruzia reemerged and stormed the Valruizian political scene. In the most recent general election, the party managed to secure a majority in the Sejm and PKN's nominee for the office of the President of the Republic Cezary Tomczyk was elected uncontested in the first round. The party found the best opportunity to fill the power vacuum which was created after the demise of numerous neoliberal governments slowly dismantled and deformed the basic, constitutional institutions of Valruzia. PKN's Anna Vinciguerra who is the great-granddaughter points out that since its departure in the beginning 47th century the GDP of Valruzia has crippled by 43%, Valruzia's lost its leading role in Seleya, the economy severely suffered from the neoliberal governments' policies with a considerable amount of Valruzian companies struggling to retain their leading roles in certain markets. Anna Vinciguerra announced that her party will pursue the goals of rebuilding the Valruzian economy and to restore the constitutional order of the state, which next to economic policies is the most important for the current leadership of the party. With the bill restoring the original national anthem, flag, motto and several other national symbols with which the Republic has been established, the party wants to rebuild the sense of community and unity in the society, but with opposition from the Socialist Party the PKN might struggle to secure the safe passage for the bill, and some say that the failure to deliver their promises might result in snap election to be held in order to secure the constitutional majority.

One of the first decisions of the new government to securely pass through the Sejm was the Comprehensive Budgetary Reform with which the PKN wants to boost the economy and secure economic growth for decades to come. The budget was raised from 670 billion VPO to 1.35 trillion VPO. One of the largest beneficiaries of the reform will be the defense sector which saw its budget tripled from 150 bn VPO to 500 bn VPO. Ministry for Foreign Affairs and its institutions will be able to expand its activity massively with budget raised from 9 bn VPO to 50 bn VPO - PKN justifies the massive expansion of the MFA's budget with the need of promotion of Valruzia in Seleya and the rest of Terra, the MFS wants to call National Agency for Promotion and Cultural Cooperation (val. Narodowa Agencja Promocji i Kulturowej Współpracy). The PKN-led government also wants to intensify the trade relations with Valruzia;s both seleyan and artanian partners therefore the budget of the Ministry of Trade and Industry has been raised to 100 bn VPO.

VALATOM ANNOUNCES ITS PLANS TO DEVELOP REACTORS USING SUSTAINABLE NUCLEAR FUSION.

NOWOGARD - Valruzian VALATOM, Valruzian Academy of Science, National Atomic Energy Agency are joining forces in order to pave the way for an entirely new source of energy to in foreseeable future replace the aging fossil- and nuclear-powered power plants in Valruzia and possibly to give Terra a new clean nuclear energy, without the radioactive waste produced during nuclear fission. Valruzian VALATOM confirmed that the company has secured the necessary funds and in cooperation with the Ministry of Science and Technology it prepares a program, initially domestic - but VALATOM intends to rather quickly move it to an international scene as the demand for a new clean source of energy is obvious all around Terra - which will in the matters of upcoming decades work on developing the first functioning nuclear reactor which, unlike today’s reactors that use nuclear fission to produce power, will use controlled nuclear fusion.

Initial calculations made by VALATOM show that the program may cost up to 1.4 trillion LOD, that’s why the company wants to engage other parties in the process too. VALATOM’s program called „INTERFUREA” (International Fusion Reactor) in theory will produce twice the power of today’s conventional fission reactors. According to VALATOM which for decades looked into the subject of nuclear fusion with interest, the controlled sustainable nuclear fusion may be the key for clean, unlimited and cheap energy. Nuclear fusion is a type of reaction that propels any star in the galaxy. If the human race will be able to replicate the reaction in a controlled environment this would mean cheap, unlimited energy for millions of households throughout Terra. More to that, the reaction is environmentally friendly as no harmful radioactive materials are produced during the process nor the carbon dioxide is emitted to the atmosphere.

VALATOM’s President Tomasz Jaworski confirmed that the company is open for cooperation with anyone who is willing to join them in the pursuit of new, clean energy to replace the current ones. Jaworski said that the company is hoping to convince scientists from other countries that rely heavily on a nuclear sector in terms of energy: Dorvik, Kazulia, Istalia or Malivia. It is confirmed that VALATOM secured financing for the upcoming 10 years of at least 15 billion annually to be sourced from the national budget as well as from the National Economic Fund (NEF).

Doctors confirmed that the passenger was transported to IDH (Infectious Disease Hospital) "Dortynski" in Brzansk and was put in isolation. All 322 passengers were placed under quarantine and tested for the MOR-1 virus but none of the tests turned out to be positive.

The government has increased the Healthcare budget with additional VPO 150 bn and the defence budget with VPO 300 bn to prepare for the possible increase in the number of cases and importation of the pandemic to Valruzia.
