NOWOGARD - Valruzian aircraft giant Reglair plans to open its first assembly plant in continental Kalistan aiming to deliver up to 100 planes a year to different clients, with EnskalAire and PanSeleya portraited as the most possible clients, official media reported today. This might be seen as a strategic move of LOT Group which closely cooperates with Reglair and it has been rumored that LOT is planning to take a large share in one of the two major airlines in Kalistan - most possibly government-controlled Kalistan Airlines (EnskalAire). Reglair intends to open a final assembly line somewhere in continental Kalistan to finalize the production of its smaller models i3 and i5. When asked if the project is temporary, Reglair CEO Jadwiga Baranska explained that in the current shape, yes but the company does not exclude establishing a permanent production line of smaller models. The plant will be set up amid forecast that Kalistan-based airlines alone will need up to 400 new planes in the next 10 years at an estimated cost of VPO 40 billion.

As stated above, Reglair initially plans to establish final assembly centre in which planes will be fitted with the desired seat configurations and in-flight entertainment systems - a move which will greatly ease the burden on the current production lines in Valruzia and shorten the time in which the planes are delivered to clients. Baranska said that the company is currently in the phase of negotiations with the Kalistani government. The company pushes for a location in the continental part of Kalistan which would greatly ease the logistics of the undertaking by diversification of means of transport with which the planes can be transported to Kalistan - air or road (disassembled planes) or trains.

In addition, Reglair is planning to establish an aviation centre functioning next to the plant to develop an entire industrial chain for aircraft manufacturing, with the capacity of assembling, delivering and modifying up to 400 planes a year by 4745.

NOWOGARD - Valruzian Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport announced that after a thorough investigation and series of consultations with LOT Group a decision has been made not to impose any limitations or impose any retaliatory measures against Dorvik, which last week imposed a ban on International Dorvish Airlines - the newest member of the LOT Group. According to Chief Commissioner on the Ministry's dependent Civil Aviation Commission (CVC), Marek Rupal no economic damage has been noticed in terms of IDA economic performance as there wasn't any. When asked about the conditions to remove all IDA's fleet from the territory of Dorvik, Rupal joked that it was another 'shot in the knee' by the Dorvish Government as there is no, and never was any aircraft belonging to IDA on the territory of Dorvik as all operations connected with the setup of the airline are carried out in Valruzia and Kirlawa. Rupal joked further that if State Aviation Office in Dorvik sees unexisting planes standing on their soil, it might not see all the planes in the air and that CVC might consider filing a motion to the International Civil Aviation Organisation to investigate whether flying over Dorvik is at all safe. All in all, Rupal said that together with representatives from the LOT Group they concluded that it was better to turn the situation in a joke than to take any action. It is worth noticing that the press conference during which Rupal announced the passivity of the CVC was broadcasted from a balcony at Ignanski Nowogard Airport with a Dorvish Airways A380 parked at one of the gates at Terminal 2 as a proof that Valruzia is committed to guaranteeing freedom of travel and further grow of air transport with no prejudice.

NOWOGARD - Earlier today, the Keymoon King's government has announced a criticized decision by many to nationalize all the airlines in the country and reorganize them into one state airline. Keymoon Airlines is one of the many low-cost airlines operating in the country, and following the recent reforms in the LOT Group, it has become the largest airline in the country in terms of aircraft ownership and passengers carried. According to the representatives of the LOT Group - the sole owner of Keymonite low-cost airlines - the premise of the allegedly poor performance of the airlines operating in the private sector does not apply to Keymoon Airlines. LOT Group's representatives also criticized the appalling incompetence and corruption in Keymonite government circles. The Keymoon Airlines is and will remain part of the LOT Group and, with the help and protection of the Civil Aviation Commission (Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport), the LOT Group will ensure that its passengers can continue to use the airline. LOT Group has announced the immediate relocation of its corporate headquarters as well as fleet base from Turtle Bay to Nowogard, under which 1,200 people will lose their jobs in Keymoon. LOT Group said that this is a result of irrational policies of the current government in Turtle Bay which follows the path of believing that the State can compete with the free market which is obviously not true. No state-owned airline in history has been more successful than a private airline and the decision of the government overwhelmed with corruption and irrational thinking will not change that.

NOWOGARD - The Ministry of Finance (MF) of the Republic of Wales announced in a press release that it is giving the green light to a series of mergers in the banking sector requested by 13 banking and para-banking institutions from the private finance sector. The ministry confirmed that the negotiation process took 4 months and that the process of assessing any concerns about the monopolization of the banking sector was carried out, as a result of which MF did not see any concerns and the risk of monopolization by which the private or public finance sector and competition would be in danger.

MF confirmed that it had received 4 applications for authorization of mergers involving 13 banking and para-banking institutions. Under the Banking Law in Valrussia, parabank institutions are not subject to the supervision of the MF's subsidiary Financial Supervision Commission, and the Ministry had the most concerns about these institutions. The lack of control by the FSC would have allowed the newly established banks to freely set interest rates on their loans, but the MF and 13 banks have developed a hedging mechanism to transform the parabanks into institutions subject to ad hoc FSC supervision.

The Ministry of Finance has authorized the following mergers:
1) Bank Gospodarstwa Rolnego, Ideal Consumer Bank Walruzja, Leonardo Credit Bank and WRB Banking which will form BILW Finance - thus creating the largest mortgage bank in Valruzia;
2) Amber Bank and Hel Credit Union will be taken over by KURTYKA Banking - thus creating the largest investment bank in Valruzia;
3) SI Banking (Szwarzentel Investment Banking), SELA Bank, NUBAK Kredyt will be taken over by Bonning Bank;
4) The Bank campaign will merge with Valuzian Bank for Regional Development into Bank Zachodni;

According to the agreement made between MF and the banks, the merges will be finalized in January 4744.

NOWOGARD - Valruzian Ministry of Finances has advised the Prime Minister to freeze assets of 10 major Keymonite institutions operating in Valruzia. Those are the first economic sanctions imposed by the Valruzian government on Keymon. In addition, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has called on the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Keymon to appear immediately at the Ministry's headquarters to provide official information about the freezing of assets of companies and institutions whose names have not been made public and to protest against the thieving nationalization policy of the Keymon government.

This is the result of a recent decision of the Keymonite government to nationalize all airlines in the country and steal all their assets with compensations just up to 10 million LOD. LOT Group which operates a low-cost airline Keymoon Airlines immediately expressed its dissatisfaction and announced the immediate reorganization of their low-cost airline which included the moving of the corporate headquarters to Nowogard and replacement of the airline's fleet base from Turtle Bay to Nowogard Ignanski Airport which resulted in the immediate layoff of more than 1,200 employees of the airline on the island. After the decision was executed the Keymonite government issued a ban for Keymon Airlines to operate in their aerospace which is the main reason for the MFA action as it deliberately and directly hit the economic performance of the Valruzian airline giant. LOT Group reassured that all passengers who bought their tickets prior to the ban will be serviced by LOT Valruzian Airlines planes and in the future all connections between Valruzia and Keymon will be serviced by LOT VA and Keymoon Airline's fate will be decided in the near future.

NOWOGARD - LOT Group has announced that a series of reorganizations that are aimed at increasing the sustainability of the Group. After decades of domination in the airline market, the Group must now face bigger competition from other players in the airline market and questionable sanctions imposed by governments believing that this would protect failing state-run airlines. LOT unlike airlines with government protection had to adjust itself for the market and worked hard for its position. LOT Valruzian Airlines the most important airline of the group is one of the longest, continuously running airlines in Terra and is by far the largest single airline in terms of passengers carried, fleet size and kilometers flown and now the airline wants to set a trend in the market. The airline giant wants to commit itself to increase sustainability on the airline market and raise the awareness about the environmental impact of the industry. The impact of the air transport industry on the environment is getting more and more significant. LOT's management knowing the pressure from the public and raising awareness on environmental protection wants to reduce the Group's carbon footprint. CEO of the LOT Group Martyna Krajewska in a press conference said how the carrier is making aviation more environmentally friendly and sustainable - from reducing the use of plastic to the liquidation of the aging subsidiaries.

Krajewska said that LOT Group is aware of the responsibilities of its position and that its management understands the concerns over climate change. The industry is changing fast with the growing number of competitors and is impacted by numerous factors like increasing environmental protection standards in Valruzia or politically protected state-run airlines that cannot sustain their positions on the market like those in Dorvik or Keymon. Krajewska said that the Group has set ambitious targets to at once compete more significantly with other airlines and to reduce the negative impact of the Group on the environment. Krajewska confirmed that sustainability is the key to the industry if the airline wants to stay competitive. In terms of the most important changes, Krajweska said that the Group considers the liquidation of several of its subsidiaries as they are no longer competitive and clearly are not affecting the sustainability of the Group. Krajewska said that the International Dorivsh Airlines and AirAurore will be liquidated as they out of every airline within the group have not noted any surplus in the last decade. When asked about other airlines Krajewska said that the most probable option for the Group is to incorporate them in the LOT Valruzian Airlines. In terms of fleet management, Krajewska said that the airline is resigning from the usage of ADG, Bolsa and Ajace Aeronautics planes they are unfit for the group and the airline wants to simplify the fleet to maximum number of initially four, and later three aircraft types. When asked about the potential types of aircraft, Krajewska praised the airline's cooperation with Reglair and confirmed that the families i3, i4, i7, and i8 will be the ones used after the reorganization.

CEO of LOT said that the airline wants to invest several billion in the modernization of the Group and is ready to face the negative response as the reorganization will result in thousands of positions cuts. Krajewska said that the majority of positions which will be reduced is based outside Valruzia.

NOWOGARD - Valruzian Ministry for Foreign Affairs has announced that a group of 20 teachers at Keymonite Diplomatic School in Nowogard whose entry and working visas expired this month won't be granted new visas. This might cause issues in the functioning of the diplomatic school sponsored by Keymonite Embassy in Nowogard which schools around 190 students of Keymonite descent and most importantly children of Keymonite ambassador in Nowogard. The Ministry has not responded to questions about the cause of its action. According to sources close to the ministry, it might an indirect answer to the continuing economic tension between the little island nation of Keymon and the Valruzian aviation giant LOT Group which recently gained an important ally in form of the Valruzian government. The school could be closed in retaliation for curtailing the LOT Group's Keymoon Airlines access to the Keymonite airline market.
