November 4341NOWOGARD - Ministry of National Defense has just announced further deals between MOND and the Valruzian Armaments Group which will be supplementary to the "Rhino" Programme. This time Ministry is willing to buy over 1.400 vehicles from the WGZ. Ministry of National Defense is particularly interested in expanding its fleet of two platforms of armored vehicles the Land Forces of Valruzia use right now. Currently, Land Forces of Valruzia use Valruzian Arms Company's Wisent platform in three different configurations and two generations of North Valruzian Works' Warthog platform in two configurations.
VAC Wisent Type A -
200 ordered.
MOND is willing to purchase 200 additional VAC Wisents Type A (Command Vehicle) capable of transporting 8 fully equipped soldiers and aimed with operating within the battlefield, carrying out surveillance operations and serve as a battlefield command unit. The vehicle, like two other variants, will be equipped with BFS's 5.0 V8 engine developing 500 BHP as the gross vehicle weight of the Wisent Type A is 14 tonnes (14.000 kg). In the standard Type A configuration, the Wisent is capable of reaching speeds of up to 120 kilometers per hour. Currently, the NSO uses 190 Type A's, after the deal, the number will grow to 390 units. The Platform, despite its launch in 4229, is constantly updated to meet the NSO's requirements and enjoys high popularity within the Land Forces' soldiers.
VAC Wisent Type B -
115 ordered.
Ministry of National Defense decided to also expand its fleet of Wisent Type B, equipped with 4 short-range anti-aircraft missiles. In this configuration, the vehicle is capable of transporting two fully equipped soldier and in addition to that Type B is capable to tow a 2 tonnes trailer. The engine is the same unit as in Type A and C, BFS's 5.0 V8. Currently, the Land Forces use 80 Type Bs. MON ordered 115 new units for the Land Forces.
VAC Wisent Type C -
100 ordered.
The third and last version of the Wisent, currently in production, is the Type C - an air surveillance version. Equipped with a powerful radar manufactured by Brzansk Arms, also a contractor affiliated with the Valruzian Armaments Group is capable of covering an area with a radius of 90 kilometers. Wisent Type C provides support for military aircrafts and serves as a support for SIGINT planes and electronic warfare jet fighters. Currently, the National Forces of Defense use 48 vehicles of this type. Ministry of National Defense placed an order for 100 additional to be incorporated to the Land Forces of Valruzia.
NVW Worthog MMV -

Warthog is the second platform currently used by the National Forces of Defense and is aimed to serve as North Valruzian Works' cheaper and easy to maintain alternative for the Valruzian Arms Company's Wisent Type A. Currently the Land Forces of Valruzia use two types of Warthog: Warthog MMV (for
Modular Multipurpose Vehicle). Warthog MMV is capable of transporting 5 fully equipped soldiers. Can be fitted with a machine gun or dependant on requirements: smoke grenades launcher or reinforced suspension to increase its all-terrain capability. Land Forces use 400 vehicles of this type, and MOND plans to purchase 220 more to be incorporated to the LF over the upcoming 2 years.
NVW Worthog MMVII -

Warthog MMVII serves as a development version of the MMV. It has reinforced suspension, modernized steering wheel and greatly increased ground clearance. MMVII is also able to carry 8 instead of 5 fully equipped soldiers. One of this platform's advantages over the Wisent platform is the operational speed of units, with a maximum speed of 140 kilometers per hour it is one of the fastest ground vehicles used by the Land Forces of Valruzia. Currently, the Land Forces use 15 units of this type. Ministry of National Defense placed an order for 45 new units of this type.
NVW Worthog 2 MMV -

Ever growing need of the military for armored vehicles have encouraged the North Valruzian Works to develop the second generation of what seems to be its most successful construction which was the MMV and MMVII. In 4339 the NVW unveiled its new vehicle named Warthog 2 MMV to signalize the continuity and relation with the previous model. The second generation is visibly larger than the previous one, and much simplified in order to reduce the operational costs. According to North Valruzian Works, an investment of 2.5 billion was made in order to develop the vehicle and maximalize its utility in and outside the battlefield. Ministry of National Defense ordered 70 Warthogs 2 which will expand the large fleet of armored vehicles of the Land Forces of Valruzia.
