Party conferences are usually a dull affair held in crowded conference rooms with delegates lodging in cheap hotels for their duration. Not so for Gyula Réti's latest project. The majority shareholder of Schwartz Works, the industrial conglomerate hosted 450 delegates aboard his 245 foot yacht Pretty Baby. The 66 year old served caviar, bottles of fine Southern Majatran wines and truffles to the stunned delegates. The Hugalonese Daily Post faces a new defamation suit having declared Réti a " malicious publicity seeking clown" with Réti saying that he seeks 500 million LOD in damages. The online newsmagazine TechEnd reports that Réti, individually and on behalf of his company, is involved in 47 known ongoing legal actions including 3 foreign ones

The Reinhardt Palace just announced this morning that the consort of the ruler of the Union of Davostan and
Kivonia, and the CEO of More Medicament Manufacture, owner of Boros Oil Primary Association and the Boros
Creative Group, Mrs. Boros Barbara died due to natural causes on 8 January, 4922. Her family (Nikolas, the 1st
Citizen of the UDK, and their three children, Otto, Elina and Zsanett), plus the Want Street in the DRE mourns
her. Her successor as the head of the 3M, BOPA and BCG will be her youngest daughter, Zsanett Boros-Reinhardt.

Due to the strengthening of the new moderate, but left-wing movements (including Réti Gyula's SDP and the
Party for True Democracy), the market liberal President of the Directorial Republic Mezei Dénes ordered new
presidential elections to serve as a vote of confidence against the results of the 4920 elections (that was held
without the left-wing movements). However first it seemed like the Direct Democrats would nominate Mezei
again, however the Party Leadership suddenly decided with a simple majority to nominate the current Grand
Director of Prime Ministry, Ms. Balog Henrietta instead, which was quite surprising.

The reasoning behind the decision could be that the convinced Iassiez-faire libertarian Mezei might've loose
