Endralon announces "Nyitottság" and "Újjáépítés"

Prime Minister elect Mészádos Vanda has recently won the Endralonian elections with the Public Interest Party. Being a social democratic party, little expect change in terms of the nations direction (that being left-wing), however the Vanda administration has made several election promises, particularly the policy of "Nyitottság" (Openness), and "Újjáépítés" (Reform). With the policy of Nyitottság, as said by Mészádos herself;

The Policy of Nyitottság will see the Endralonian economy revived, and liberalized. Not in such a laissez-faire way as to where we leave behind the working class in the race for economic gain, no, we will not allow that. We will remove the state's grip over the economy and reform it into a people's economy.

How far the policy of Nyitottság can go remains to be seen as it is to be implemented but many within the PIP are optimistic that it will see success.

With the other policy of Újjáépítés, it focuses more on social reforms and government reforms. Mészádos has made the following statement.

The Policy of Újjáépítés will see Endralon go from an authoritarian statist regime towards the steps of being a proper free democracy. No longer should the people fear the state and look over their shoulder to see if government agents will take them away from their family. We will see progress for every Endralonian! Likewise, with the nature of the monarchy... We shall leave it into the people's hands to vote on that with a referendum. If the people desire a monarch, we shall keep it, if they desire republicanism, we shall provide.

While the promises made are relatively vague, they are also idealistic for Endralon and whether Mészádos Vanda can achieve what she's set out to achieve is yet to be seen by the world and by Endralon.

Endralon votes to keep its monarchy!

As promised by the Public Interest Party in 5312, a referendum regarding the monarchy was held in April 5313. The results were in favour of maintaining the monarchy, and establishing the Kingdom of Endralon.

With a solid 52% of the country in favour of keeping the monarchy, Prime Minister Mészádos has made a promise to formally restructure the country into a Kingdom as per the people's will and reinstate a king, that being, Novák Ákos I.

Whilst Monarchists rejoice in the victory in the referendum, many Republicans have displayed notable discontent with the referendum, with republican protests across the country and even a few cases of riots. How long this unrest will last is yet to be seen however efforts to ensure protests don't escalate have been made to keep the nation stable and whole. In a rather expected twist, the Public Interest Party has seen a portion of it's membership decrease as many leave the party due to the PIPs now monarchist alignment. The most vocal was the Democratic Socialist portion of the PIP, Left Endralon, citing it as a complete betrayal of the people, the nation, and the party's founding values.

Whatever the case, a new dawn is upon Endralon, as it looks to formalize the monarchy, become a kingdom and crown Ákos I.

A New Endralon

As Ákos the first has formally been inaugurated at the capital, so too has the Kingdom of Endralon been proclaimed, alongside a new flag being raised and set as the national standard. Alongside with a new national anthem and motto.

Mészádos has already made a statement on the enacting changes to the country;

It is truly a new dawn for Endralon as we move away from the old despotism that represented the People's Republic. With a new nation, a new King, and a new government, Endralon is looking towards a brighter future! We can't ignore the issues we need to tackle but we cannot allow ourselves to become cynical. We must move forward with hope and optimism for the nation.

As celebrations occur across the country over the recent changes, there have been various protests, and while small, have been notable, being a broad group of republicans and even supporters of the People's Republic. Whatever the case with them, the nation continues moving forward, regardless of the challenges Endralon faces.

Endralon announces economic ambitions

With most political issues being resolved such as the monarchy, Mészádos has begun to shift focus towards the economy. With a lack of any notable natural resource, the nation faces challenges with finding a way to kickstart the economy, however, there is one option for the Endralonian economy; seeking foreign investments.

With no other choice, Mészádos has already announced full ambitions of seeking investments from foreign companies to develop the Endralonian economy. And this ties into the policy of Nyitottság as the economy will be paved towards being favourable towards foreign corporations to invest in, whilst not harming the working class. Fundamentally allowing a liberalized economy while working within the tenets of allowing no one to slip through the cracks.

Whether any nations and corporations will invest in Endralon is yet to be seen but efforts shall be made to achieve investments and revive the economy.

Endralon accepts Luthorian Approach to Diplomacy

With Luthori looking to formalize relations with Endralon, alongside providing a loan to help develop the Endralonian economy, the government has been quick to accept Luthori interests and work with the nation. As both nations share historical ties and both being monarchies, cooperation between the two nations can be expected to be ideal.

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Németh Dominik has made the following statement on relations with Luthori;

This is fantastic! Our two great nations have plenty of potential working together. There is no reason why we shouldn't cooperate with fellow Artanian Nations. There is plenty to gain from working with our Artanian brethren, especially Luthori.

With Endralon being receptive to relations with Luthori, it seems the two nations shall see cooperation and Endralon shall open itself up more diplomatically.

Hosian leaders making shocking revelations!

A new party had been formed by the Patriarch Bakos Arnold. After hundreds of years of secular, atheist oppressive rule, one led by capitalist-minded neoliberal parties, a new resurgence in the faith has been observed. Among the most new followers are the Hosians part of the Terran Patriarchal Church, the True Faith as discussed by the Patriarch Arnold. Bakos has always despised the current state of Endralon, from an early age he had a call after several miracles he witnessed, making him zealous and very faithful to his Church, wishing to save people and pray together with them. Seeing the corporate bordello of a nation, Endralon, he has addressed the nation once he had reached the ranks of Patriarch of Endralonian Terran Church:

The world has went downhill, we have reached a point where greed is state policy, where sin is state mandated, we see paganism and occultism proliferating, deturning our great lands from the faith. Rows and rows of young people abandoning the faith because it is out of fashion, acccepting the materialist worldview, acting selfish, suspicious of their community, locking themselves in their gated communities, trying to act accomplished by buying new products as mandated by the corporate regime, by the devilish mindset that earthly possessions have any kind of eternal value, when we in reality have one life, and an eternal Kingdom to be delivered to us by God

These are the description of the Patriarch and his speech to the nation. The Endralonian nation has around 50% people that do not subscribe to any faith whatsoever, shocking many on their levek of irreligiousity. This shocking fact has led to a subvert anti-sin movement starting even from the times the parties involved in maintaining the elitist internationalist regime, however suppressed they were forced underground. Alongside these, pro-worker factions within the elite and in underground societies has also formed as a counter-culture to Endralonian culture, one represented by comfort, excess and societal isolation. The amount of depressed people has increased since the new ideology had corrupted the people.

Inequality has reached an all time high and people have been lost. Many may have just as well went to hell, according to Arnold and several other parishes of the Terran Patriarchal Church, who allying with some other Hosian churches, as well labor unions and intellectual wing, one finally liberated from the shackles of neoliberalism after hundreds of years under it, have declared a new party. With the old mantle of neoliberalism gone, the new faction took process to seize full power, under the name of Principles of God, a religious minded party, secular in their state affairs, however strongly Hosian in their philosophical worldview and moral stances on issues. It searches to promote the true Church, engaing in strong evangelization missions, building of new Churches with money from religious elites against secular order.

The party has declared the Mission to be to return people to the one true religion through peaceful and non-coercive means, maintaining secular values, promoting acceptance, siding with workers in pursuing a strong egalitarian approach to economics, de-growing and protecting the environment. The army is a target of the movement, as well with the Patriarch declaring that there is no King but Elijah. The emblem of the party has been set to a simple Cross, with the motto being "Piety against Tyranny". Despite the religious zeal, the party advocates for democratic principles and expansion of said democracy. The Party Manifesto had been already released for the public to see. The party is expected to win big and start reforms as soon as possible.

Many young people have been reported slowly restarting to return to the Church, with some parishes having record breaking attendance rates, with some going as much as 1000% increase in attendance. The new numbers embolden the movement, with regular marches by priests alongside laborers and students held. The Terran Patriarchal Church, regaining some strength after secular oppressive laws, has started social programs to aid the poor and collaborate with the intellectual wing of the party to develop a sustainable economic plan, in accordance with religious principles and socialist tenets. A New Party for the Republic

Our prayers have been answered and the Lord delivers! The shabby and corrupt technocratic consensus politics will be shaken as the League is formally accepted as a registered political party and will be able to contest the next set of legislative elections. Momentum has built over the last few months as several politicians, including Krisztina Miksa, have left the Public Interest Party, arguing that it was a technocratic party that favours rule by unelected bureaucrats. At a meeting of delegates from several small conservative parties Krisztina Miksa has been elected as the interim leader of the party and will be the lead candidate in planned early elections.

The League is to be organised with separate parties for each Canton coming together as the national level. As discussed a small number of mostly right-wing parties have already agreed to fold themselves into the League, along with disaffected Peoples Party politicians and members. The League has already unveiled a set of hard line nationalist positions on immigration and citizenship and it is likely that further policies will be unveiled prior to the next election. The party clearly has a pitch for the right-wing vote in Endralon and it is the opinion of this journal that true conservative and Hosian voters do not have a voice in the national legislature and at the very least the League expands the options available to voters.

Hosianism established formally in Endralon

Endralon now has not one but two established churches following the passage of the Established Churches of Endralon Bill. The historic Ameliorate Church of Endralon and the Aurorian Patriarchal Church have both been recognised as established churches with tax exemptions and the freedom to establish schools. The two churches have historically been the largest in Endralon as recognised in the census of 4895z. The government has also announced some infrastructure funds will be used to help repair old and build new churches to help accommodate the surging religious population.

Monarchy tied to Hosian Faith

The government has tied the new status of the two main Hosian churches. King Ákos I has been given the new title Defender of the Hosian Faith and has formally been recognised as the Head of the Ameliorate Church of Endralon. This effort to tie traditional Endralon to the Hosian faith is part of an effort to firm the conservative revolution sweeping through the Kingdom with the emergence of the Endraloni League as the government of the country.

225 Year Experiment with Prohibition to End

Almost 225 years since Socialists introduced prohibition on the sale and consumption of alcohol, the governing Endraloni League is set to re-legalise the sale and consumption of alcohol. Truth be told the production of Endralons famous wines and beers has continued, and illegal “beer cellers” have continued to exist, especially in rural areas of the country. However, the government has proposed to end this socialist experiment and allow Endralonians to drink legally once more.



Despite centuries of prohibition alcohol consumption had remained common in “beer cellers” across Endralon.
