Immigration waiver to be granted to displaced Dolgarians

CETATEA ALBA - In response to Dolgaria's decision to deport all non-aryans from their territory, the Palace has decided to waive immigration restrictions at Frontiera. According to sources, temporary resident and work permits will be granted "effectively on-demand" and relocation assistance will be given to Tiania Province, so as to not force that province to bear the burden alone.

Part of the decision was a "concession to reality" - because Dolgaria's only land border is with Tiania Province, an unusually large number of immigration attempts had been made in recent months there anyway. "If we're going to be stuck with these people anyway, we might as well make the best of it," an anonymous source in the Palace said.

Report: Regina Silvia, Prime Minister Ariel KUZAKI to assume dictatorial control

CETATEA ALBA - Rumors are circulating around the Parliament that a grant of direct dicatorial control to Regina Silvia and her Cabinet will be forthcoming, in response to "growing destabilizing influences" within the body politic. A Marble Palace source confirms that the new Regina intends to "tamp down" on the liberalizations enacted during her grandmother's 65 year long reign, which ended two years ago. It is also believed that, unlike Alexandra, who was largely content to allow the politicians handle most of the policy decisions, Silvia fully intends to be "active and involved" in the higher level decisionmaking processes.

"Alexandra was a good woman, but she lacked drive and tended to defer to her Prime Ministers, especially Marcel. Marcel had the experience, and frankly intimidated Alexandra into leaving the details to him. Ariel is more conciliatory and less experienced, thus Silvia wants to set her mark early," noted a Anias Clan insider. "Alexandra was not groomed from birth to rule the nation - her selection as heir was literally almost a last minute call. Silvia has been raised from birth as the heir apparent, and her confidence as ruler is very high."

Single Party Rule ends in Kizenia

CETATEA ALBA - The end of single party rule in Kizenia came not with a bang, but with a whimper, as the new Legislature is split seven ways, with the formerly ruling Aristocrat Party now holding 23% of the seats, and the new Anarchist Party taking the plurality with 30%. Reports from Marble Palace indicate that Queen Silvia has authorized and endorsed an Anarchist-lead cabinet to take the reigns of power, as soon as negotiations are concluded. The shift also has lead the crown to endorse a plan to create the position of Viceroy, to which a popular election has been endorsed.

"This is clearly a new era in Kizenian politics," said HIRAOKA Shiro, the outgoing Foreign Minister. "While we hope the new factions will hold firm to Kizenia's obligations internationally, we agree that the time has come for Kizenians to express their differences at the ballot box."

No word has yet come conclusively as to who the Anarchists will tap for Prime Minister, nor has their choice for Viceroy in the next elections been made certain. It appears likely that they will enter into coalition with the fourth-place Liberals, likely with Aristocrat support, although other arrangements are possible. Such would leave the Communists as the leaders of the official opposition, although their opposition group would be a rather weak one, given that they could likely only call on the Freethinkers League as allies.

Anarchy grips Kizenia

SOLGOBAT, TIANIA - Small scale rioting and reports of street gangs seizing and carving up the territory of Kizenia has emerged ever since the government fired virtually all government employees, including police and military personnel following the Anarchist budget's enactment over the Viceroy's veto. In the wake of increasing violence, most of the royal family has fled the nation, except Silvia, the Regina, who insists "if they want this palace, they will have to kill me first."

While some local governments have filled the vacuum created by the national government's all-but-official collapse, many areas are now in a state of anarchy. "I was going to take my kids to school, and no one was there but the children," said Gloria SANTESCU, of Tahtania. "The staff posted a sign that school was closed, and that was it. They didn't even lock the doors."

It is unknown what is to become of the nation's military, which had been built up in the last decade. One rumor is that the entire military arsenal is to be dumped at sea, to prevent it from falling into the wrong hands.

However events play out, the smart money is now on the weapons industry. Sales of personal handguns have skyrocketed, with the increasingly obvious absence of law enforcement, and rumors that the prisons have been emptied due to lack of money for guards. Other rumors have the prisoners trapped and starving inside the locked prisons; no government spokespersons means neither rumor can be easily confirmed.

Hikaru Shimatta, a collateral descendant of former Supreme Leader Ai, has been named the heir to the Royal Family in Absentia, and addressed the nation via video, urging calm but expressing regret for the period of insanity that must ensue. "Would that I could restore law and order by simply proclaiming it so," she said. She also said she supports Silvia, and hopes that a small kernel of civilization might survive the coming months.

The smart money, however, is not on that. Even Dorina COSMA, recently elected Viceroy, has not been sighted in weeks, and is rumored to have fled to Trigunia or Sekowo. Prime Minister Ucigaş is effectively the nation's ruler now, although his actual power to impose his authority is limited given that the government employs perhaps a thousand total people, most of whom are lifetime politicians serving in the Parliament.

Kizenia Declares Independence



Following years of tensions between the House of Syldavia and Kizenian nobility, the latter, coalesced into the Aristocratic Alliance (Partida Boierească), declared the independence of New Endralon. The country returned to its rightful name of Kizenia, and the prestigious House of Săndulescu has been brought to the throne. Having learned from the mistakes of the past and breaking with the tragic legacy of the Clan of Anais, Kizenia will no longer tolerate an absolute monarchy, nor will she allow the dangerous gamble of unchecked heredity bring any madman to the throne. For the sake of the well-being of all Kizenians, the powers of the Monarch shall be limited by the Royal Council, a body formed of the wisest and oldest boyars of the Land. Nationalist Army took over the government this morning. Plekszy-Gladz was filled with soldiers today, and King`s Palace was surrounded by Nationalist APCs. Nationalist forces succeeded in arresting major ministers and President of the Cabinet, Coronel Miska Joo. Anotolie Marshenko, leader of Nationalist Party announced that monarchy is now fell down, and glorious and optimistic future of Republic is waiting for us.
Legislature was also occupied by soldiers, and members of Delgates Assembly weren`t allowed to get in the building. Nationalist Party established Revolutionary Executive Council and started to make legislations. Anatolie Marshenko declared himself as a Secretary General of Revolutionary Executive Council and decided to make his own agenda.

Armed Forces conducted national wide wargame, simulation invasion of foreign imperialists forces. Named 'Valiant Shield-3227', army, navy, and air force executed operations to stop enemy invasion during the drill. Soldiers of Revolutionary Guard deployed across the Kuzaki ducat this morning. Minister of Justice Razvan Carlos said in special press conference today that arrested monarchist spy confessed their plan to attack government building in Atarashu, Kuzaki. Currently massive manhunt for suspects is ongoing and Revolutionary Guard along with Police arresting several known members of monarchist groups. There are 6 suspects who believed to be related in this infamous action, and Police is distributing their photos and several notices. They are also suspected to be funded and supported by unmentioned foreign imperialists, which is believed to be a Kazulia or Egelion.

Chancellor of Cabinet Teodor Zavinsky talked to the press and any convicted spies in Kuzaki will be executed, and there are many known spies and activists of monarchist group on blacklist. Secretary General Anatolie Marshenko is to Resign
Political tsunami expected

After urge of Chancellor Zavinsky and Chief of Armed Forces Ismail Evascu, Secretary General Anatolie Marshenko agreed to step down, and requested schedule for early election. Nationalist Party Leadership Board recommended Chancellor for candidacy of Secretary General, making him Head of State. Teodor Zavinsky served in Royal Army as a Major General and was a leader of Nationalist Army in the Revolution. He was appointed as Chancellor ten years ago, by Secretary General Marshenko. Although Chancellor is not a member of Presidium, he seemed to control the Presidium and no one has problem with his enter of Presidium as Secretary General.
Eduard Dalca, Representative of Kuzaki, said that no person who is not supported by Kuzakis can't be a Secretary General and politicians should recognize Kuzakis contribute to the Republic. His statement was obviously for current Secretary General, Anatolie Marshenko, who publicized discrimination policy of Kuzakis. It is unknown whether Chancellor Zavinsky support equal rights for Kuzakis, but he wasn't big supporter of Secretary General. His military experience and political influence of Secretary General made current political position.
Political analyist Weber Frakes said that several members of presidium and high council, and cabinet who are in favor of Secretary General will be also dismissed and replaced by supporters of Chancellor Zavinsky. He also mentioned that military drill in capital is another pressure to supporters of Secretary General Marshenko, who never served in military. His control over military was always questioned, and that was why he appointed Zavinsky as Chancellor.


Army Training in Plesky-Gladz

Army Headquarter confirmed plan to training operation in Plesky-Gladz. Chief of Army, General Ioness Sares said that Army will be practice several operation plan to defend capital city in the event of invasion. Tanks and armored vehicles will be deployed in major points of capital. Soldiers will be guarding several important buildings, include government buildings, broadcasting centers, barracks, police stations, and major road intersections. During the training, civil defense drill is also planned to test defense plan to reduce civilian casualties. Civil defense drill include evacuation and curfew. With these drills, this will be a biggest military exercise in capital ever after revolution.
