Kizenian Legionary Militia Mobilizes in Republic of Kuzaki, Vows to “Liquidate Kuzak Human Trafficking Mafia"Above: Members of the newly formed "Balmoxis Battalion" a paramilitary group controlled by the Kizenian National Legion, recite an Oath of Legionary Allegiance before marching into the mountains of Kutohaderia region to combat alleged human trafficking groups.Estșosea, Regiunea Kutohaderia (Republic of Kuzaki) - Following the legalization of paramilitary groups, Legiunea Națională Chizână (LNC), the main opposition party in the Confederacy of New Endralon, Kizenia, and Kuzaki (CNEKK), wasted no time in organizing its new paramilitary branch, which the far-right party has announced will be called the "Balmoxis Battalion".
Members of the Balmoxis Battalion have already begun patrolling the mountainous rural areas in Kutohaderia region, the only region of the Confederacy which belongs to the Republic of Kuzaki. Many elected officials in the Republic of Kuzaki, a plurality of whom belong to the Kizenian National Legion, have their voiced support for the new measures.
"The Confederate government was turning a blind eye to the plight of Kizenians in the Republic of Kuzaki. The Kuzak human trafficking gangs have been preying on Kizenian families for years. You will scarcely find a Kizenian family in this region who has not lost a mother, daughter, or sister to these savage scoundrels," Legionary Commander Ion Mândru, the local head of government explained. "At least now, with the new law, the National Legion will be able to do something!"
Following the news that the Confederate government had passed the new law on paramilitaries, Mândru declared "open season" on "the Kuzak mafia".
The new law, known as the "Stop Kuzak Human Trafficking Gangs Act" gives broad leeway to the Legionary militia group. Notably, the Balmoxis Battalion has "full privileges, with the right to intervene when necessary".
Legionary Subcommander Iulian Ciorbă has emerged as the main spokesman of the Balmoxis Battalion.
"The Balmoxis Battalion patrols began two weeks ago," Ciorbă asserted when reached for comment. "We have already engaged in several skirmishes with nests of Kuzak human traffickers. In the mountains near Portești, we liberated five Kizenian women from bondage. They were being kept as sex slaves. We believe the Kuzak mafia was planning to traffic them internationally for sale on the black market."
Supreme Legionary Leader Ion Mihai Chizânescu also referred to the Kuzak mafia in a statement announcing the formation of the Balmoxis Battalion on the Kizenian National Legion's website.
"The Balmoxis Battalion will take a no-holds-barred approach to the Kuzak human trafficking mafia," Chizânescu said. "Anyone aiding and abetting these modern day savage hordes will be brought to heel by our glorious Armed Legionary Forces. We will liquidate the Kuzak human trafficking mafia, by any means necessary," the Supreme Legionary Leader added.
Ulan Arțăreanu, a human rights activist in the Republic of Kuzaki, has criticized the new law. "Human trafficking is a pretext," Arțăreanu argued in a video-recorded statement posted to social media following news of the Legionary militia patrols. "Kuzak people are not the only ones involved in organized crime in the Confederacy, but the way the Kizenian National Legion speaks about the issue, you would think it was only Kuzaks. And I'm hearing very concerning things from the locals who are being affected by these paramilitary operations."
Asked to comment on the human rights concerns, Subcommander Ciorbă said that "deceitfulness is a trait common among the barbaric Kuzak hordes. What they lack in civilized honesty, they make up for in savage lies. For example, they have been lying for decades about the number of Kizenians in the Republic of Kuzaki. They say we are only 15%, but we are many more. Do you think the National Legion would have won the elections here if we were only 15%? There needs to be a new census to get an accurate count. But our top priority for now is eradicating the Kuzak organized crime."
