The Republic of Kizenia had been finally declared after long waited moments. The final preparations were welcomed with a huge national free day and parties. People went on the street to celebrate the new promising Republic of Kizenia, as the President of the Republic held a speech in front of the people talking on the future plans of the Republic:

"We are here dear Kizenians to celebrate an important historical moment in our history: We have reclaimed our nation and fought victoriously to achieve our dreams through well planned campaigns and with passion and love for this nation. Our dream was achieved, but the fight is not over! The new Republic will be unite, free and prosperous, we will not bow down anymore to anyone, we will not tolerate division, hatred, corruption and neglect! In this new Republic, nobody will have to suffer anyone, nobody will have to leave the nation nor be at the whim of dividing elements. Long live the new Republic and their beloved citizens. We shall prosper together and grow toward a better society overall!"

Some people fear tho this will lead to increasing xenophobia and Kizenian supremacy, leading to possible abuses and discrimination within the nation, now that Kizenians got own country to rule over. Opponents to this ideas are holding marches to protest the decisions made by the PSD-led government to change the name of the nation to better reflect Kizenians. With this electoral victory of the PSD, the Kizenian populace is back again in charge, after years from the last heavily Kizenian government.

Meanwhile the PSD enacted reforms into the Education system. Over 10 billion NEDs are to be flushed into the public education to reinvent the system from zero. The money will be used as Cristescu said on renovating schools, especially those from villages and small towns with proper equipment as well actualizing the National Curriculum which will be applied at national level. The Curriculum is expected to be reformed and built up on a modern frame, as well the ministry of Education plans to modernize school with gadgets, better rights for students, better standards for teachers, lessons to be thought in interesting ways through new unique techniques of teaching and more. The program is called "For a bright future". It is also including funds funneled into the public libraries and into plans of combating illiteracy, which maintains itself present into the modern day Kizenia. The new program is to last years from now, the PSD expressed tho their concerns this program might be abandoned by the Liberals tho these are just fears, Cristescu said positive that this plans will be furthered by Liberals as well.

With these important reforms, the Social Democrats plan to remove politics from school, in special corruption and appointing teachers or principals in political way. The government seeks to ensure that the system is as well secular, education according to leading party it should be impartial.

In other important news, the results of the search on the collusion between this newspaper and the Social Democrats showed no real collusion, tho the authors of the article were found to be PSD-leaning in their believes and present as such a bias favoring the leftist party currently in power. This resulted in a drop in trust for the newspaper as well huge fines for the publication and the journalists who spread subjective information.

The scandal was addressed by the Social Democrats, Ciobotaru holding a public speech in front of the television:

This is an unfortunate truth, our nation is still infested by corruption, favoritism and not only. We do not condone the authors to be subjective nor believe this is a good way to do journalism. What happened with recent scandal is just showing that pocket of people disrespect the laws of Kizenia as well breach the moral values of integrity and honesty, leading to biases, neglect and even misinformation. Such filthy actions shall not be tolerated in Kizenia.

Tho despite the official checks showed no link between the authors of the scandalous piece of article and the main party of Kizenia, there are rumors and doubts if the PSD is involved in other similar acts and some even criticize and are skeptical of the official investigation, expressing their fear of covered up case by the NAI and Kizenian police. There tho are no evidences to further back this claims. For now is to be seen how negative impact it has on the party, as the elections are getting closer by the day and the campaigning to be prepared.

The Kizenian officials are planning on breaking all diplomatic relationships with Lodamun as well expelling all of their remaining officials in Kizenia, banning the imports from Lodamun and toward Lodamun as well ban on all economic activities of foreign corporations coming from Lodamun. In smaller news, Kizenian army held important military exercises after long time of inactivity. The Kizenian army started training on different new modern tactics and on their reaction to different situations. Elections in Kizenia are around the corner and both parties are preparing intense campaigns to win over the next elections. Unlike the other elections, the next voting session will have 300 seats for the grab instead of 250, as well electronic vote will be permitted to ease the voting process of everyone especially those from foreign nations who are still citizens of Kizenia. Who will win the elections is uncertain, but whoever wins will decide the future of the nation, if Liberals win tho, there will be interesting turnouts to be watched and the effects of the new government over the old laws left by the previous rule. In smaller news, government plans to allocate 4 billion NEDs for start-up projects for young and aspiring entrepreneurs who are looking promising and have innovative ideas and plans to boost the economy. The decision comes as contrast to the heavy taxation and regulations imposed by PSD earlier. The leadership tries to counter balance as such the stringent regulated market with support for small businesses which will be given advantages such as exceptions from or reduced regulations, as well better tax exemptions and grand bails with huge non-refundable and refundable funds for small entrepreneurs who show promising ideas in different domains. Kizarm Nationalised Again, is Ventodrill Next?



Cetatea Alba - The Social Democrats have been busy nationalising certain industries. Among one of them is the Defence industry, where the former national Confederate Defence Group will be integrated in the private company Kizarm, now in public hands. The Confederate name is of course abolished, and the company will go further with the Kizarm name.

Kizarm was founded in 3313 under the then Communist State of Kizenia. Since then it has had, like most defence companies in terra, gone through multiple times of public and private ownership. Kizarm is the main defence contractor of Kizenia / New Endralon, and has branches in many nations, particularly in Keris. The OTROM self propelled howitzer is one of their best works. Only hours after the debate started about nationalising all defence industries, the stock went way up in anticipation of a government buyout. But Kizarm is not the only defence industry to be nationalised. According to our reporters, AeroVianu is in negotiation with selling their branch concerning the airforce. They have build the high quality, though expensive PF-26.

Next to the defence industries, other companies are risking nationalisation as well. The Social Democrats have passed a bill which allows the to nationalise 'certain industries'. When asked about these certain industries they responded:

The only real nationalization will be mostly around energy, we plan to slowly take the resources back under state ownership, tho not without payment to the companies and time for them to adapt.

The biggest company in the resources industry of Kizenia / New Endralon is Ventodrill, a company with 82.000 employees, and a revenue of 1,7 billion NED. Where the stock market reacted favourably to the nationalisation of Kizarm, the stock of Ventodrill suffers under the uncertainty of this possible nationalisation. Possible extra drilling in the somewhat oil-rich border region of Dolgava and Kizenia have been put on hold, until the secret negotiations with the Ministry of Trade and Industry are finished. New day and Kizenia is closer to cast their vote for a party. Who will win tho is yet to be seen, both parties prepared a complex campaigning and rallies, with investments and not only. The Social Democrats holding power had done reforms meanwhile, tho is this enough? The next elections will be around the role of government, unlike the precedent who was around the Republic vs Confederation.

We invited Ciobotaru to give a speech onto the party matters and not only, to give an interview on different issues and on the future of this nation:
(Interviewer)We're glad to have you here as president of Kizenia, we are interested to know more about you and your party. How do you feel on winning on the Republic vs Confederation debate?

I feel proud to represent the people of Kizenia in the government. I did not won, the people did, they've expressed their opinion on the matter by voting, and Kizenians had spoken.

You do not think that this will destroy the culture of other ethnic groups? Or increase the ultra nationalistic tendencies of Kizenians?

These are not based on any real arguments. First question, the culture of the Kuzaki and New Endralonians wont die because we renamed the nation in a certain way or became a bit more centralized, as well i do not think they are oppressed nor they will. We've looked onto the past of Kizenia and learned that nationalism and extremism went hand in hand with the existence of the Confederation. The Republic of Kizenia is here to stay and provide a balance between acceptance and patriotism. The minorities will be protected and integrated, while Kizenians will be able to be proud for having own nation in which to live, a win-win situation and all this in a democratic framework which ensures stability, growth and unity.

What plans do you have for the incoming four years if your party is reelected?

We plan to upgrade our military, to continue fighting corruption and authoritarianism, both in our homes and abroad, plans to aid economic growth and create a strong safety net and ensure workers' rights are protected in the next four years as well.

There are some great plans, tho before we continue talking over them, we've heard liberals claiming that trade unions do not protect workers rights, is that true?

Gibberish, the trade unions are formed of workers. The claims of the opposition are just lies to turn workers from the unions that give them the possibility to fight against the big corporations that make often abuses. We enabled workers the right to strike whenever they wish, as well give them protection from being fired without valid reasons. Plus, we gave the workers protection from discrimination at workplace and ensure they will get decent conditions. If I'm honest, I'm disgusted by Liberals opposing basic regulations onto advertising, cryptocurrency, heck even on health industry and food industry. I wonder what drives the liberals to oppose basic regulation to ensure a minimum protection from abuses of the market forces. The corruption is in the private sector as well and the only real way is for the government to step in and ensure fairness and transparency in the game. The liberals claim to combat corruption but overly focuses on government corruption, overlooking the corrupted private sector who goes hand in hand with lax laws to prevent this. I say no more, under the PSD, corruption from government and from private sector will be equally tackled, no more favoritism for one or the other.

I see, tho we've got questions on how you plan to make Kizenian lives better, you state some ideas and we're curious how you see Kizenia.

We will continue what we started. We started to regulate the market forces as well strengthen the anti-corruption laws. We've founded an anti corruption independent agency, we've passed laws to make the government more transparent and we increased the regulation for the markets to follow, such as anti-discrimination laws, basic workers' rights, food and health standards, a National Healthcare Service as well with breaking of unhealthy monopolies. From here we seek to continue our plans and reforms. We started reforms into the education system, we invested more into the military as counter balance to the abolition of conscription as well with huge investments onto small businesses and boost economic growth. If we get reelected, we will modernize the infrastructure, renovate our hospitals and bolster overall our economy. Plans like actualizing the universities, better and more affordable tuitions and not only. On infrastructure we plan to modernize all the roads and build new ones, plans for better national highway system to connect all major cities is on the list as well with building of larger shipping harbors to stimulate the commerce on water. The military will receive better equipment, while the national armed industries will offer own products. Our army will get new better bases and modern purchased vehicles and airplanes. For the safety nets, we will seek to make the living standards more affordable and have plans to raise the minimum wage so a worker and his family can live off the wage. These are few of the ideas we have for our upcoming elections. Our party agenda will mainly focus on growth and security. These are turbulent times we live in and we believe the citizens of this nation deserve best, without forgetting the importance of maintaining international stability and growth through diplomacy.

What do you think the role of the government should be?

This is clear and undoubtedly the government needs to intervene on the market to prevent abuses as well maintain some industries of their own to ensure every citizen wins. For example, nationalizing by 4720 all energy related assets is a good thing, because from it, we will become a resource independent nation, able to produce the energy we need for ourselves and on top of that, nationalization assures that the people of Kizenia are the ones who profit from all this, and not some foreign company. While foreign companies can invest onto this sector and into the publicly owned businesses, the government of Kizenia will ultimately own the resources which will be then used wisely from whom all people shall prosper from. Certain industries will be owned by the state as well because we believe that the public sector should make competition with the private sector in order to create innovation and constant upgrading, as the publicly owned companies will ensure by default better salaries and conditions, triggering other companies to follow the suit. The most important part of the government are the regulations, which are vital for curbing down the bad excesses of capitalism. We all know capitalism can go frenzy if left unchecked, and that what we are here for. We believe people should enjoy the benefits from a market-based economy, but as well enjoy social welfare and safety nets.

Our last question, what do you think that will be the effects of the intense diplomatic activity of Kizenia?

First of all, I've heard lot of rumors that our interventionism might lead to unpleasant things. I'm here to clarify why is not bad. First of all, we do not need to be major power in order to intervene, second, we cannot be ignorant of other people problems. Just as in a community where we help our neighbors or stop people on the street from tearing themselves apart, so we need to ensure that we aid the global powers in their struggle to maintain peace and prosperity among everyone, and thirdly, Kizenia has more to gain from interacting with other nations. We had few good state visits in Dolgavia, Dorvik and Likatonia, from which we got investments, alliances and mutual beneficial treaties and trades. We strongly believe, I myself strongly believe that this openness to the world should be kept and expanded. Kizenia is part of this globe and it should not ignore that fact.

Though a side question, will the Republic survive the test of time? The new founded Republic is yet to be seen fully established and there is great chance that it will collapse.
