March 4384Eplorator expands its lineup with new versions of the ViataThe standart Viata changing in the new EL ViataPortul Occidental - Explorator has revealed the new versions of the Viata. Just as the Liberta, the Viata gets the EL (Explorator Luxury) and EP (Explorator Performance) treatement. The EP Viata is still a budget car, but the EL Viata really upgrades the old Viata into a very luxury car. This will really make Explorator able to compete with the premium brands, as they are mostly specialised in cheaper 'peoples' cars. The EL Viata gets a digital instrument cluster and the infotainment system. Leather, wood, and a sound system round off the upgrades on the inside where the central air vents have been removed to make room for R-Link. Stepping outside of the tuxedo-wearing Viata, the car gets LED headlights flanking a new grille with metallic accents and upper squares reminiscent of the Liberta SUV. Keen eyes will also notice the radar incorporated into the front bumper, which also hosts a pair of large fog lights with a metallic trim.
Riding slightly lower than the normal Viata, which has been made possible by a better, smaller suspension, the EL Viata gets two-tone larger alloy wheels and comes with sleek door handles that sit flush with the body. Moving at the back, the lower section of the bumper has been modified to accommodate dual exhaust tips, while the taillights are interconnected through an full-width light bar on top of which a chrome piece of trim has been added.
The EP Viata on the other hand is cheaper, but sporty coupe. The EP Viata lower and shorter with sporty bumpers and flared wheel arches housing big wheels. The three car lineup (and a van) is the smallest lineup of the biggest carbrands in terra, but with both the Viata and Liberta getting EL and EP ranges, the number increases to a small 7. This comes with a big manufactoring advantage, as Explorator doesn't have to buy lots of equipment for every car, or version. But still, Explorator needs an increase in production facilities, as Explorator only has its big green facility in Indrala, which provides the Seleyan market of cars, and the enormous facilities in Kizenia, which rovide cars for the rest of terra.
But as shipping costs rise as the distance between Keris and the other continents is too big for cheap cars, Explorator will build more facilities, starting unexpectedly in Dankuk. With terra leaving Dankuk, Dankuk's foreign trade is breaking down. But at the same time it means a lot of cheap, empty production facilities, and a population that will do anything for a job. While some say it is immoral and exploiting, you can't deny that it might be a very smart move to get such a cheap facility. That is, if there will not be any sanctions against Dankuk, because if that happens, Explorator is stuck with production facilities it can't use for the foreign market, and can't sell. Who will know, is it a smart move, or a dangerous gamble.
March 4384Confederal delegation will attend the Indralan Economic Forum (IEF)The Indralan Economic Forum will be attended by a big delegation of the Confederation. CEO's of big international companies in the Confederation will attend the IEF, just as two ministers and a representative of the Alliance of Liberals (AL), former High Chancellor Serban Mihaili. As the Confederation's ties with Indrala are very good, companies and politicians hope that the IEF will result in more economic deals. From the government, Minister of Trade and Industry Ms. Hanna Antal hopes to show other foreign guests what the Indrala-New Endralon Comprehensive Free Trade Agreement (4356) has brought Indrala, and that they will also agree to such a deal with the Confederation. After the
increase of Indralan tourists, Minister of Enviroment and Tourism Mrs. Lili Kapolcs will try to hold on to that number, and maybe increase it. Foreign Minister Mr. Anghel Iacobescu will also accompany the Confederal delegation, but as many diplomatic activities are, we do not exactly know what his role is.However, we can guess that he will try to find allies in the war against Medina, and try to get the Indralan support for Resolution 56. AL member of honour, and former High Chancellor will also visit the IEF, and report back to the AL.
The business of the Confederation is also well representated. Mayor visitors are Mr. Marcel Serbanescu, CEO of Explorator, which has a massive factory in Indrala, and Mr. Milán Máté, Founder and CEO of MateShipping. MateShipping is also owned for 25% by Indralan investing TQ Group, and since shipping is all about international and economy, it may not come as a surprise that MateShipping will also be a sponsor of the event. CEO of healthcare company Cancon, Trigunian national Mr. Dubov Lukyan Grigorievich will be there to see if Cancon can open a research facility in the highly educated Indrala. While the Confederation is a great place for companies to invest, they are lagging a bit behind when it comes to education
(OOC: Translates as I need to do some education RP). In summary, the hopes are high for the Confederation, but we will see what happens.
OOC: I want to thank WuHan and lihokan for making these cool banners for my newspaper. Much apriciated!
