First Person Knzmazrk vows to liberate Jelbania
Guerrilla offensive inflicts heavy losses as insurgents attack foreign invaders.

A coordinated strike earlier today inflicted heavy losses on a Deltarian convoy moving back to base, the resistance claims at least 20 Deltarians were killed.

January 2nd, 4531 - With the heavy bangs and cracks all across Jelbania one could imagine the fireworks of New Years Eve have gone on a tad too long. Nothing however could be further from the truth with the Jelbanian conflict escalating even greater than before. The organized military of the Jelbanian Confederation proved easy to beat for the two great powers of Vanuku and Deltaria, who used all their technological advancement in a bid to quickly topple the Jelbanian anti-foreign government. However the foreign operators failed to seize the initiative by not succeeding in the capture of the two leading figures of the anti-foreign coalition. First Person Azi Knzmazrk and Forward-souled Person Jlekai Salyzr still roam free, with the former taking up charge of Jelbania's immense resistance movement. With foreign forces taking a step back it quickly became clear that no occupation force will ever truly succeed in taming the steppes, in the tribal areas the chieftains returned from the wastelands to set up camp once more, terrorizing all foreigners that dare to step foot on the sacred steppes. In the urban areas the population armed themselves, heeded on by fierce nationalist fighters.

First Person Knzmazrk is somewhere in the more urban areas of Jelbania, coordinating all efforts of a new guerrilla offensive. In a video published on several social media platforms he once more denounced the foreign invaders. "They are the scum of the Earth, they disagree with our national policies, they disagree with the fact we want to rule our own state. So what do they do? They bomb us, they shoot us and they imprison everyone that disagrees with them. With the invasions every Jelbic man and woman has lost their liberty. But no more, brave kinsmen, with the strength of Tanhri and all our ancestors in the sacred sky we will oust the invaders. Deltarian whores will have to bury their rotten sons, Vanukean inbred children will weep as our great warriors make them little orphans. Their leaders will rue the day they challenged the Jelbanian steppes!"

After a quiet invasion chaos has now truly erupted across Jelbania. The insurgency seems well-coordinated and carefully planned to only be initiated after the invaders were given the idea they had "won" the invasion. Over the past two days the Jelbanian resistance has carried out forty-seven ambushes (racking up a total of 71 Vanukean deaths and 65 Deltarian, as well as destroying thirty tonnes of supplies), placed bombs at twenty-one checkpoints (7 Vanukeans killed, 21 Deltarian) and assaulted seven bases with artillery, rockets and heavy machinegun fire (death toll unknown, but the foreign invaders did not sleep easy). First Person Knzmazrk has assured everyone that these attacks will only increase. An ultimatum has been sent to both governments demanding the immediate withdrawal of foreign troops from Jelbania. The omnious wording stated this was only a "light-hearted start to our plight".
