Gaduridos begins mass highway renovation project; Infrastructure deemed a priority.

In an effort to drastically increase the effectiveness and quality of roads, alongside make things more convenient for Gaduri citizens, the government has begun a full mass infrastructure renovation project, starting off with highways, and modernizing them using the newly created, state owned corporation, the Corporación Estatal Gaduri (Gaduri State Corporation).

The ultimate goal is to increase capacity of highways and ensure they are up to date to allow the most benefits to be reaped from future economic growth plans. By improving the highways, it will allow major cities to export more goods and import more goods, boosting the states economies and generally allow for easier ease of access between states for Gaduri citizens. With the CEG already employing thousands of Gaduri, a side effect of modernizing and renovation infrastructure is combating unemployment in Gaduridos.

The ultimate goal is a complete infrastructure overhaul in Gaduridos, and starting off with the highways has been a no brainer as it'll only be a net positive for everyone and support the national economy. With results expected by 5435, the CEG has it's work cut out but there is optimism that it can complete the task.

Gaduridos calls for calm solution to Aldegar Crisis

The Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores (Ministry of Foreign Affairs) has recently released a press statement regarding the current crisis of Terra; the Aldegar Crisis, or the Canal Crisis. Having remained largely silent on the crisis, many expected Gaduridos to simply continue it's isolationism yet that expectation has been defied. In regards to the press statement itself, the MoFA has called for a calm rational solution to the crisis, urging both sides to come to the [negotiation] table and discuss a mutually beneficial compromise.

With the crisis in Aldegar, Gaduridos remains committed to the ideals of peace and stability in Seleya. [And] with how the current "Canal Crisis" has been affected the global economy, we urge for a calm solution to the crisis.

With Gaduridos making a rare MoFA statement, it signals that besides caring for peace, Gaduri Isolationism may come to an end soon. Whatever the case, Gaduridos has subsequently joined several other nations in urging for responsible minds to prevail to prevent the crisis from escalating tenfold and causing more damage then necessary.

Gaduridos Highway Renovation complete; Results are positive

The Corporación Estatal Gaduri (Gaduri State Corporation) has recently announced that the efforts to modernize and renovate the nations highways have concluded with success. Despite the hefty cost, the project has produced immense results that are only anticipated to be positive. The economic potential is already there and with new modernized highways, many city and state economies can grow. Alongside further economic potential which may include exploiting natural resources in Gaduridos, it has led to simple quality of life improvements allowing Gaduri citizens to traverse across states and cities easily without requiring a major hassle.

The success has led to two signals being sent for Gaduridos. One, is that more infrastructure reforms can be expected which will help the nation immensely both economically and to raise standards of living. As for the other signal, it has signaled that once Gaduridos looks to exploit natural resources, it'll be immensely easier and more efficient with new modernized highways and many expect the nations ports to be developed which will only amplify this.

With the new highways producing results, many can expect more infrastructure projects to occur with the CEG. However, with elections a month away, these infrastructure projects largely depend on who wins elections and whether the status quo prevails. Whatever the case, the beginning steps to reviving the Gaduri economy.

Gaduri government to begin investments into Agriculture; Subsidies and support to be given to farms.
Image

With the Sancho Administration being elected, the first goal has been a complete focus on reviving the national economy. To that end, the first step is supporting the agriculture industry. Despite what some may think, the agricultural sector in Gaduridos is not entirely dead due to the warm climate. Some agriculture endeavors, most notably corn can grow in the warm to hot climate of Gaduridos and the government has not ignored this fact. The government has begun fully subsidizing and supporting struggling farms and encouraging farms to both hire more citizens and expand farming practices with the distinct goal of reviving the Gaduri Agricultural Sector.

All across the country, efforts have been made to support farmers and ensure that they don't shut down. Whether it be direct government support or investments by state farms, the government has become absolutely determined to support agriculture. However, this has faced less success in Marligantos where the prominent "Gadur Way" remains prevalent and has led to cases of farmers rejecting government aid and support. Some have even got out of their way to criticize the government for the efforts. Despite this, the Sancho Administration is determined to elevate Gaduri farmers and boost the Agriculture Sector of Gaduridos and ultimately support the national economy.

As for the cash crop that has been the focus of the government, corn has been deemed the focus and while you'd be amiss to think it would grow poorly in Gaduridos, the opposite is true in that corn can grow well in Gaduridos. To that end, by supporting it, the Gaduri Agricultural Sector will be spearheaded by corn. However this does mean other crops will be neglected but to simply get the agriculture industry going, corn will be the focus to lead Gaduridos on. By looking to set itself as a major producer of corn, Gaduridos looks to begin clawing it's way to dominating the Seleyan Agricultural Market. However, for the time being, Gaduridos has a long way to go and will certainly need both a strong and diverse agricultural sector if it wishes to make a footnote on the Seleyan Agricultural Market.

Government to modernize and renew ports; Gaduri ports soon to roar to life.

With general infrastructure reform accomplished such as highways and railways, the next logical step is ports and the government has wasted no time contracting the Corporación Estatal Gaduri (Gaduri State Corporation) to begin modernizing and renewing Gaduri ports. Believing that doing so will boost economic growth, whether it be by allowing goods to be exported and imported, or just allowing inter-state commercial goods to be exported in high quality ports easily, the potential for economic growth is there and so, modernizing and renewing these ports all across Gaduridos has been made the main target. Combined with the tourist industry being revived, the oil industry and the agriculture industry, the need for modernized ports has never been more apparent. Agricultural and Oil goods need modern ports to be easily exported whilst tourists need ports that aren't falling apart to enjoy being a tourist in Gaduridos.

With the CEG focusing on port development, the timeline for completion has been given to the year, 5444. With ports all across the country being developed, the nation is expected to experience more economic growth.

Port Renovations completed amidst far-left government; Isabella Arriaga takes reigns of the PNP.

Image

As the Corporación Estatal Gaduri (Gaduri State Corporation) announces the completion of the Port Renovation Project, functionally modernizing Gaduri ports and allowing easier travel across the nation and allowing goods to go to and from Gaduridos easily, the results have already shown themselves as the capacity for economic growth has been cemented. Whether for civilian use such as tourism or commercial use such as oil exports, the development of the nations ports will allow a greater capacity for economic growth and improve quality of life.

However, these results have been announced only months after national elections, with the party that has spearheaded infrastructure reform, the Partido Nacional Progresista (National Progressive Party) getting third place in national elections, the party has been pushed out of government, with the far-left Partido Socialista Libertario (Libertarian Socialist Party) gaining not only a full majority in the National Congress but also gaining government. Miquel Ramos, former president and leader of the PNP was forced to resign, with the party essentially turning on him due to leading the party to not only losing the presidency, but being relegated to third place. Isabella Arriaga, a notable moderate in the party and a member of the party's "right wing" has been elected, and will now have to lead the PNP through these radical 4 years as the LSP has already looked to transition Gaduridos from moderation and the mixed regulated economy to a more planned if not outright communist economy. This of course has worried moderates from the Centre-Left all the way to the Right. Combined with the recent port modernizations and any potential economic growth could be thrown away.

The most recent bill by the LSP, the "Restoration of Socialism Bill" has gained specific controversy as in a rare case of bipartisanship, the PUI, CRP and the PNP have all aligned in firm opposition to the bill and the LSP. With the PUI opposing on grounds of stability and the CRP opposing in a conservative fashion, the PNP has moved to oppose it on the grounds of moderation, believing the bill to not only threaten the Status Quo, and subsequently the economy, but also is simply too radical for Gaduridos. Isabella Arriaga has already criticized the bill heavily, citing it as the first step towards moving the country away from the carefully established mixed economy towards a full command economy. Whatever the case, the best 4 years will be turbulent for Gaduridos.
