Several residents in Gaduridos, notably in the capital city of Gadur, are beginning to notice that several institutions in
the nation are beginning to promote local communities and businesses in an effort to improve the Gaduri economy and
Gaduri culture. In Gadur's Arts District several local filmmakers, editors, and producers joined together with help from
the city's community to establish Gadur's first ever Local Artist Film Festival. The film festival named "The Local Film
Collection" is set to premier over 14 different short to long films of many genres. The film festival, according to one of
its creators, Valeria Hernandez, is a great representation of Gadur's culture. Many of the films in the festival will display
the lives, issues, and problems in minorities in Gaduridos. One of the films named "My Missing Identity", is set to portray
the life of an 11 year old Bentaran (OOC:Hispanic and Afro-Caribbean) boy who lives in Gadur's most rich boroughs and
is subject to discrimination and racism everyday. Another film, whose name has not yet been revealed, will be a vivid
documentary over life as a Gaduri-Esinsundu immigrant. Hernandez, who set up most of the films' screen time said that
this film festival, completely run by local artists and entrepreneurs, will be a great display of hardship, culture, and
compassion. Hernandez hopes that the film festival will encourage other artists in the nation to do similar festivals in
an attempt to promote cultural diversity in the nation and to make people see life from a different perceptive.

PRIME MINISTER MARTINEZ SPEAKS OUT AGAINST CAPITALISM WITH VICE PRESIDENT RUIZ

Just a couple months after the office of Prime Minister was re-established and Rafael Martinez was quickly sworn in, he and Vice President Javier Ruiz made a very controversial speech."Capitalism has outlived its usefulness and will eventually be brought to its demise," The Prime Minister reportedly said "It is of utmost importance we abolish it."In support of the Prime Minister, Vice President Javier Ruiz, who the Prime Minister helped to get his position, said "It is time we bring democracy to the workplace, just like we have done our government.It is time for the laborers to get all the fruits of their labor!"These comments has brought a lot of unrest in more conservative and wealthy areas, fearing socialism will kill massive amounts of people.Surprisingly, a large amount of the Gaduri population supports the comments, about 40%, and 20% is unsure about them.We have asked the President his opinion about these comments, and his response is "I believe they are very misguided."

CHE RODRIGUEZ DEAD, ANTI SOCIALISTS MEET IN PERNESSIA

While Che Rodriguez was playing chess with his grandson, he suddenly had a heart attack.The ambulance was immediately called and took him to the nearest hospital.This morning, the hospital declared him dead.Millions of Gaduris now mourn him because he stopped Gaduridos from falling into totalitarianism, whereas anti socialists are neutral towards him because he did give Gaduridos in the hands of the socialists.A photo of him celebrating his landslide victory in 4795 with his allies will be presented at his funeral, which both the President and Prime Minister will be attending, his casket covered by the old Gaduri flag."This is one of the most saddest days in Gaduri history," Prime Minister Martinez spoke, "Gaduridos lost one of its national heroes."

In other news, a group of former businessmen, right wingers, centrists, and moderate leftists are holding a meeting somewhere in Pernessia.They are extremely anti socialist, so this may be a meeting about how to oust the current government.Regardless, we will be keeping track of them.

A new party in the horizon

Today a new party has been registred at national level to play the elections game.
The Democratic Capitalist Party aims to change the country for good as chairman Señor Butxot stated.

"The party will try to reverse the socialist policies implemented in the country against the will of the population, as the participation in the elections show.
This is an ilegitimate vote with less than a fifth of the vote, this is the reason the country must act now so we can return to a path of freedom and progress
The budget is in great deficit which must be corrected if we don't want to fall in a debt trap, not that this actually matters to the actual government.
Also investment is in a record low and we aim to change that by legislating in favour of a great and healthy economy."
Said chairman Butxot.

Only time will show what will really happen, but there is light in darkness as we can see. Maybe it's a time for change.

NEW PARTIES ENTER VIEW AS ELECTION CAMPAIGN BEGINS

The national Conservative Alternative party has been revived by several former members. The leader of the revival is former CA Cheif Whip and Pernessia State party leader Czeslaw Rock who's organizing helped bring the party together. Rock brought together the Pernessia, Salnaeta and Vintalli Conservative Alternative parties that have been operating in local and state governments since the dissolution of the party over 25 years ago. A Marligantos state party has been created and the party will compete in all 325 constituencies this election. At the parties first offical conference Sean Stacy was named Party Leader with Rock's blessing. Many see Stacy a former shadow cabinet member in the old CA as an moderate compared to the much more paleoconservative Rock. Czeslaw Rock has accepted the position of Deputy Leader leading many to speculate who is actually pulling the strings of party policy and leadership. Jose Altuez a former MP who served with Stacy during his time with the SPP said " I see Sean but I hear Mr. Rock and the voters shouldn't get it confused." Altuez further stated that he plans to vote for the Capitalist Democratic Party (Democrats) as he feels they are closer to the party he once served in. Sean Stacy
Born: 4786 (Age 52)
Stacy holds a master degree in Accounting and has served as a CPA. He was elected to Parliament in a by election in 4810 and would later become Shadow Finace minister for the CA from 4813 until the party dissolution in 4815. Stacy would join a group of former CA MPs who joined the SPP in 4816. He would go on serving as a SPP MP until he lost renomination in 4827. Since leaving parliament he has worked at an accounting firm in Salnaeta where he served as a CPA. He is married to Danielle Stacy with 3 children, formly married to Adam Stacy who died from cancer during the marriage.

Czeslaw Rock
Born: 4768 (age 70)
A outspoken activist who became involved in local Pernessian politics in the 4790s he would be elected to the Pernessian Parliament and later help form the Conservative Alternative . He was the parties first Whip and would be a very influential voice on policy and conservative thought for decades to come. After the collapse of the national CA party Rock would keep the CA alive in Pernessia even returning to the Pernessian Parliament in 4820. He would serve as the leader of the CA in the Pernessian Parliament ever since even becoming First Minister for a brief term in the 4830s.

Years of political uncertainty have made Gaduridos an impoverished, lowly nation. The people for years have urged for
a competent government that works for the people instead of themselves. After years of waiting, the dream was made
a reality. The Party of National Organization, or PON, reformed in the Seleyan nation and elected its party leaders set
to lead the nation. The PON held its convention in the capital city of Gadur, where they chose human rights lawyer
Antonio Cascabel to lead Gaduridos to a new era of progress and change. Cascabel beat over 10 other candidates vying
for the party's leadership on a platform of change. Cascabel noted that the nation needed to reform its tax systems
and government institutions to boost the economy. The current legislature voted for Cascabel to lead the party and
spearhead the party into next year's election. The PON's reorganization comes at a time when the people of Gaduridos
has been left leaderless and the government has survived without facing accountability. The PON hopes to reform and
change the nation including changing the nation's flag, the nation's legislature, and the nation's institutions. According
to Cascabel's victory speech, Gaduridos is set to enter a phase of soul-searching, embracing its culture, and developing
its people.

Today, members of the Senate and PON committees began to work on reforming the nation's economy which has been
in shatters for decades. Members of the Senate began by reforming the nation's tax codes which showed that
corporations and businesses are being heavily taxed which has brought down economic improvement. The latest tax
brackets also showed that a heavy strain was put on middle class families. In order to improve the economy, based on
members of the Senate, the corporation tax is set to be lowered to 20 percent. The government has promised that
most individuals and families in the country are set to experience a reduction in the taxes they currently pay.
President Cascabel noted that the change in the tax brackets will open up several opportunities for Gaduridos to grow.
Cascabel also noted that he is interested to see the way that the regional economy begins to grow and cooperate with
the country. Cascabel is hoping that economic reform in Gaduridos will cause neighboring nations to open up their
economies as well, noting that increased trade between Seleyan nations is beneficial to all. Members of the economic
committee within the senate expects economic output to increase in the next quarter.

After being postponed last year due to the snap national elections, President Antonio Cascabel and the Ministry of
Culture and Arts successfully put together the annual Festival of the Arts. The Festival of the Arts is an annual event
that is held in the city of Cancon that celebrates the Gaduri culture. The event highlights Gaduri national art, dancing,
films, food, and local art. The highlight event of this year were the dancing "michelas" with their accompanying
"hombres de negro". The dance between these individuals goes back hundreds of years and originated in Cancon.
This year, a massive dance was held at the "Plaza del Angel" in front of La Iglesia del Angel Guardia (Church of the
Guardian Angel). In the streets near the plaza, hundreds of Cancon's local artists displayed their art and caused huge
crowds to form. Local artists in Cancon have been a huge impacct on the city's economy. Last year, the city's local
government realized that most of the city's economic turnout came from tourism and local businesses. Another huge
hit as the festival was street food. Street food is at the hear of Gaduri culture. This year, a large market was set up
in Downtown Cancon to highlight the nation's cuisine which ranges from deep fried Gaduri tacos to Asli seasoned
"party" chicken. Millions of people traveled by plane and by cruise ship to the city of Cancon which is a part of the
Cancon state. The Federal Government has stated that the tourism experienced in the state of Cancon brings in
millions to the Gaduri economy and is one of the most beautiful places full of culture and art in Seleya.
