FRANZISKA BELOVA WINS RSF LEADERSHIP ELECTION, IMMEDIATELY REFORMED THE PARTY

Franziska Belova won against Gloria O'nnel, Mark Selucian and Angela May with 65% of the votes. This shows that the RSF wants to radicalize itself and to internalyy be reformed.

After winning the election Belova said this:

'I knew that the RSF memebrs are idealists and are people who want radical change and most importantly - revolution! The RSF activists have always craved for radical politics and revolution. I don't want to say a lot because I have a lot to do. Work needs to be. After we reform the Front, we will be ready to reform the country. I would like to make it clear to all what my mission is: to dismantle capitalism and smash the state! I am a revolutionary socialist and revolutionary syndicalist and I will fight for what I believe in!

Victory will be ours!'

After this Belova immediately reformed the party's structure by implementing these:
Regionalizing the RSF - the local organizations will choose who their speaker and organizer is.
Changing the title 'Leader of the RSF' to 'Secretary-General of the RSF'
Decentralized the decision making - the local RSF chapters wil lchoose what activities to be engaing in and will make decisions for themselves. They won't be required to follow the Secretary-General's orders and/or guides

AFP MERGES WITH FEDERALIST LEAGUE, FORMS PARTI FFEDERALIAETH A RHYDDID
PFR sees radical party restructuring from old AFP structure
PFR releases new manifesto

Talks with the Federalist League, or Cynghrair Ffederalistaidd, have resulted in a merger of the embattled AFP. The Federalist League is a small, local party operating in Sildar and Ultran which has long allied itself with the AFP nationally, endorsing AFP candidates for the Senate and presidency. The AFP have long been proponents of devolution, a stance which has made them allies of the Federalist League in local government. The deal was orchestrated by leader George Llewellyn of the AFP and Federalist League leadership, and has been approved by the Central Executive Committee of the AFP.

Senator Llewellyn had this to say in a conference held at the Heißer Keks pub in Ultran Stadt:

The AFP has long been a proponent of local governance, local people, and the rights of the states and localities in an electoral milieu which seems to favor centralized decision-making and economic planning. We have long thought of the Federalist League as an ally, and now we welcome them into a new party formed from both of our old parties, the Parti Ffederaliaeth a Rhyddid [Party for Federalism and Freedom]! There is no time of greater urgency than now to consolidate our efforts to rebuild a market and government that is responsive to the needs of all Alorians, not just the few in Sildar Urbem who wish to impose their will on the rest of the country.

Former AFP leader and PM Seth John was also at the event, and imparted some rousing words to the attendees:

The socialists and communists in Sildar Urbem want to tell you how to live your life! Good, honest folks from around this country are hurting because of the mess we have been shoved into by the RSF and their allies. I remember the formation of the AFP like it was yesterday, and now we will continue our mission with the Federalist League to promote a strong, independent, locally governed Aloria for everyone. The commies better be scared, because we're coming for their Senate seats, and we're coming to take Aloria back!

Senator Llewellyn will be the first leader of the newly formed PFR. Janine Hummel, former leader of the Federalist League, will take the position as PFR deputy leader. Seth John, instrumental in the merger, has been given the honorary title of Member Emeritus for the remainder of his lifetime. The new PFR Manifesto 4285 outlines a hardline stance for local governance even on issues once deemed to be national prerogatives by the AFP. While the AFP will only see a modest a huge influx of membership from the merger, the Federalist League operates using a strong cadre of volunteers which may be important to the PFR's campaign in the next election. The last two elections saw the AFP decline radically in representation and membership, largely blamed on the mismanagement of former leader Arthur Bundefeller.

With the merger comes a radical reorganization of the former AFP party structure. Local parties will be given more power and the former AFP Central Executive Committee has been reorganized into the PFR Electoral Board. The board will not run local parties directly, and spots on the board will be held by representatives from state parties. However, the merger with the hardline Federalist League may pose future problems for the PFR as things move forward, as the Federalist League has long held a more conservative social stance than the AFP. Classical liberals which have formerly supported the AFP over the Libertarian Party may find themselves pushed to the Libertarians, which hold a similar number of seats and have recently seen their own party restructuring.

The conference heralded the release of a new "PFR Manifesto 4285". Of most note is the PFR's commitment to localization on issues from ecology to education, and a renewal of the long-held AFP push for controlled immigration. The manifesto excoriates the Revolutionary Students' Front for its nationalization of industry and centralization of power, proclaiming the need for a liberal market economy in Aloria.

RHYDDERCH: ALORIA IS AN EMBARRASSMENT IN THE INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY

Maredudd Rhydderch has claimed Aloria is an embarrassment in the international community after more of the government's communist agenda was implemented. Speaking on a politics show this morning, Rhydderch said Aloria is seen as a "laughing stock" around Terra due to the policies of the current government. The RSF's recent bill which removes immigration restrictions, increases foreign aid and aims to make ALoria more open has been strongly criticised by the Libertarian Party. The Libertarians claim it will hurt the economy, hurt ordinary working people and make Aloria appear weak.

However, it was not this bill that Rhydderch was most critical of today. He was more interested in continuing to criticise the Commune Bill which passed before the last election, calling it a "hugely dangerous" piece of legislation. He is also no fan of the Green Commune Bill which recently passed in the Senate. He was especially critical of the article that enforces highly restrictive pollution controls on industry. While Rhydderch acknowledged the need to tackle climate change, he said standards already in place were adequate. Again talking about the effects on the economy, Rhydderch believes it will make industries move away, causing major unemployment.

The Libertarians say they are extremely worried about how the actions of the RSF-led administration will be viewed on the world stage. Mr Rhydderch said Aloria does not want to be seen as the "home of communism worldwide".

RHYDDERCH SURVIVES LEADERSHIP ELECTION

Maredudd Rhydderch has won the leadership election after facing a motion of no confidence from his Senators. 23 out of the Libertarian Party's 38 Senators voted in favour of the no confidence motion. Notably, Gerald Wehnert voted against the motion, and refused to stand in the subsequent leadership election. Many Libertarian Senators said they wanted the leadership challenge because they think the Libertarians will struggle in elections while Rhydderch remains.

After the vote of no confidence passed, Senators opposed to Rhydderch then faced the difficult choice of finding a candidate to stand against Rhydderch. Gerald Wehnert was the preferred option, but he refused to stand and offered his "full support" to Mr Rhydderch. After Wehnert ruled himself out, two candidates came forward - Rodolf Beck and Glenice Pritchard. Rodolf Beck, a social conservative, wanted the party to focus less on their economic agenda and more on immigration. Glenice Pritchard said the party's message should not change but a new face at the helm is needed.

Rhydderch won the leadership election comfortably, with 52% of the vote. Pritchard received 30% of the vote and Beck 18%. Rhydderch has promised to continue with his current vision for the party. He said it is "a huge relief" that the party membership didn't vote for Rodolf Beck.

MAREDUDD RHYDDERCH SAYS ANTI-FASCIST CAMPAIGN IS LAUGHABLE, WEHNERT PROMISES TO BRING DOWN "EVIL" GOVERNMENT

Maredudd Rhydderch called the current anti-fascist campaign, which is championed by the RSF, "laughable". The campaign has been launched in response to the formation of the PFR, a socially conservative party. The campaign accuses the party of being racist. Rhydderch said the RSF's support for the campaign "hilarious" due to the RSF being the party in government.

"It is hilarious to see the RSF supporting this campaign, a laughable campaign, because they are the largest party in the Senate, are part of the government and hold the presidency. They hold executive power to tackle fascism and eradicate policies they see as fascist. The RSF are the real fascists. They hate anyone with a different opinion. They incite violence against their political opponents. They should be ready for the ordinary people to rise up."

While Rhydderch's choice of words seem harsh, it was deputy leader Gerald Wehnert who was even more brutal in his attacks on the RSF and their campaign. Recently, tensions have been rising and Wehnert has been part of the reason for this. He has continued to attack the current government in the Senate and in the media.

"The current communist government continues to attack their political opponents for simply expressing a different opinion. They label us racists. They label us fascists. What I say in response is we will not tolerate this anymore. This divisive, violent, anti-working class government will be brought down by us - the people! The evil government will be banished to the dustbin of history!"

GERALD WEHNERT: IF THIS GOVERNMENT DOES NOT FALL AT THE NEXT ELECTION, I WILL RETURN

Gerald Wehnert, Libertarian deputy leader, has promised to return to frontline politics if the RSF-led government retains its majority at the next election. Wehnert spoke at a rally in Frieden, Gavonshire about the RSF's incitement of violence against his party and the PFR. Wehnert's ended his speech by saying "this speech, what I have said today, will go down in history as the moment the communist government started to fall".

Image

The RSF has once again incited violence against us. They have told their supporters to attack us. This sort of language should be unacceptable. We certainly view it as unacceptable, but for some reason the far left do not share this view. The far left is dangerous. They are dangerous to our way of life, to our culture and to our heritage. When I was president, I promised to make Aloria great again. I honestly can say we did that. Unfortunately, this extremist government has ruined that progress. Our economy is weaker, the people are poorer and Aloria is laughed at in the international community. There is now an opportunity for the Right to expose this, to tackle communism and defeat it for good - this is our chance to free Aloria from the grips of evil!

However, there is the possibility that the Right will fail in their aim of defeating this government at the next election. I want to make a promise to all of you today. If this government does not fall at the next election, I will return. I will return to frontline politics to put Aloria first. To put Alorians first - all Alorians. It doesn't matter if you are rich, poor, black, white, young, old, male or female. I will make sure we live in a society of equal opportunity, not equal outcome. I will make one more promise today - this speech, what I have said to you today, will go down in history as the moment the communist government started to fall!

A lot of people are already saying this is an attempt from Gerald Wehnert to put Maredudd Rhydderch under pressure. A lot of Libertarian party members who support Rhydderch think Wehnert is acting in an unacceptable way by challenging Rhydderch's authority within the party in this way, especially considering Wehnert is deputy leader.

PFR HOLDS RALLY IN FREIHEIT
Seth John condemns RSF bully tactics
George Llewellyn states common cause with Libertarians

The PFR organized a party rally in Freiheit, Gavonshire, today to rally support against the rhetoric of the RSF. A large showing of people attended the rally, some coming from around the country to show their support. The rally was named "Take Back Aloria!" Attending was Leader George Llewellyn, Deputy Leader Janine Hummel, and former PM and current Senator Seth John.

Many attended to hear Senator Seth John, a favorite among the core of PFR members, speak. Below is an excerpt from his speech:

The detestable RSF leader, Franziska Belova, has called for violence against members of both my party and the Libertarian Party. The RSF has a long history of using violence, inciting riots, and attacking the character of hardworking Alorians everywhere. In case you don't forget, I was Foreign Minister when the RSF organized an illegal militia to violently threaten the peace and stability of this country. And the Senators involved were never brought to justice! The RSF are cowards who hide behind their positions of power to bully and attack decent people.

Alorians everywhere need to know that we are playing with fire. The RSF agenda will not stop until it has every one of us who believe in an honest days wage for a hard days work, who believe in the inherent goodness of Alorian families and churches of all races and creeds, silenced and assaulted. I urge all Alorians to vote these dangerous socialists out of office!

Leader George Llewellyn also spoke, most notably hitting on their common cause with other parties, support for the Libertarians in the 2nd round of the next election, and an urge to vote the RSF out of office:

Unless further developments come to light, we are pledging our second round support to the Libertarian Party. While we disagree on certain issues, we in the PFR see them as valuable allies against the encroachments of socialism into the lives of hardworking Alorians. We also cannot rule out further alliances with the Libertarians and other parties in the next elections, as it is imperative that we vote the RSF out of office.

A small crowd of counter-protesters organized outside the "Take Back Aloria!" rally, chanting slogans such as "Pro-Racist, Anti-Gay, PFR Go Away!" and "Doesn't matter where you are, you must smash the PFR!" Some minor violence broke out between rally attendees and counter protesters, but the police were able to largely keep the peace between the two groups. The second chant, most notably, was popularized by current RSF leader Franziska Belova.

INTERVIEW WITH SETH JOHN
Says Gerald Wehnert was, "the best president in his lifetime"
Lambasts political opponents, won't rule out serving again as PM

By Bella Reese

Image

Seth John is a man with an impressive resume, to say the least. He guided the small AFP, whose successor is the current PFR, to prominence in Alorian politics. While nobody could say he single-handedly destroyed the old Labor Party dominated political scene of decades past, his fingerprints were all over the broken pieces. He was, in succession, Foreign Minister and Prime Minister of Aloria. The 72 year old politician has once before retired from politics, but returned after the last elections to the Senate.

I have sat down with Senator John to ask him questions about his time in politics, and where he sees himself and his party heading.

Bella Reese: Senator John, it is a pleasure to have the honor of interviewing you. How are you doing?

I'm doing quite well Bella, thank you. But I'm tired. I missed being a Senator during my retirement, but I can tell you it is quite tiring!

Reese: So, tell me, what exactly do you think about the RSF-Labor government?

*chuckles* Well, I think I've made my opinion abundantly clear! The RSF are thugs and Labor are political opportunists. I had the displeasure of working as a part of a junior coalition with Labor when I first served as Foreign Minister, and they have not an ounce of real conviction. At least the RSF, to their credit, does. But, Labor will bite them in the back to keep power at any chance. However, the real danger is with the RSF. Their Senators and leadership have called time and time again for violence against hardworking Alorians who happen to disagree with them.

Reese: What policies specifically do you disagree with?

Almost all of them! The RSF has pushed through an agenda that has turned Aloria into a socialist country, and without a quick change back we'll see the decline, no destruction, of the Alorian way of life. They have nationalized industry and torn the ownership of businesses from hardworking Alorians.

Reese: So, what does your party plan to do about this?

We plan to win! And we know enough Alorians agree with us. We will make huge gains in the next election, I promise.

Reese: What do you think about somewhat recent statements by Gerald Wehnert, former president and current Deputy Leader of the Libertarian Party, declaring that "If this government does not fall at the next election, I will return"?

You know, I haven't spoken to Wehnert for quite awhile. But, between you and me and everyone else who reads this interview, he was the best damn president this country had in my lifetime. I can tell he wants to be back in charge of his party, and I say to him, 'What's stopping you?' And hell, if he does his job and I do mine, the RSF will be out of office! Why wait until after the next election? I'd love to see another Wehnert presidency, myself. We'll need someone with experience to bring back this country from the brink. It was a pleasure serving alongside him when I was Prime Minister. But our reforms from back then have been all but wiped out by the RSF, and we'll need someone competent to be the face of fixing it.

Reese: Your party plans to run a candidate. Don't you think you're undercutting your party's leadership?

Not at all. An old guy like me can say what he wants. *laughs* But in all seriousness, we already plan on endorsing the Libertarians if they make it to the second round. But, if you look at polls of our base, there's nobody they'd rather see as president other than Wehnert, besides me. And I can tell you that I'm not running again.

Reese: Would you serve again as Prif Weinidog [Prime Minister] if Wehnert was elected president?

Now, George [Llewellyn] is our party leader. We put forth our leader for the position of Prime Minister. I'm proud to serve my country, but Wehnert isn't running for president.

Reese: So, that's not a no?

I said what I said, Ms. Reese.

Reese: How do you see your party faring in the Senate elections?

You know, I don't even look at polls, so I couldn't tell you about that. But, I talk to people, I don't keep myself locked up in the Senate. I keep an ear to the ground and I know what working folks think. They want change, and I think our party brings that. The kind of change the RSF brought has decimated our country and trampled our values, look around! The AFP-Federalist merger has brought a lot of hardworking activists to our side, too. We can get out the vote like nobody's business.

Reese: Thank you for your time, Senator John.

You're welcome, it's been a pleasure.

WEHNERT ACCUSED OF CHALLENGING HIS PARTY'S LEADER YET AGAIN

Once again, many in the media, as well as Rhydderch's supporters, are accusing Wehnert of challenging Rhydderch after he said he'd "do a better job" if he was leader. Wehnert made the comments during an interview earlier when he was asked if he still has ambitions of leading the Libertarians.

"Well I've already served five years as president of this once great nation, and I loved every minute of leading the ALP from 4268 to 4277, but of course every politician wants to be in a position of power where they can exert as much influence as possible to help people. I'm not sure if I will ever lead the party again, although I honestly think I could do a better job, believe me."

Wehnert has since claimed he meant he could do a better job than when he was leader of the ALP in the 4270s, however many doubt that this is what he actually meant. Pressure is growing on Rhydderch to sack Wehnert from the role of deputy leader.
