OOC: This is just something that I need to address.

In the future, please make your own news articles in this thread, instead of just copying and pasting from a previous article.

Here's an example:

This article was just a mere copy of my own article:

The Mask wrote:BARIN WINS PRESIDENCY; GPA GAINS CONTROL OF PARLIAMENT
Longest-existing party in election victorious in political comeback
August 3129

KAUNLARAN CITY, Ultran - Yardley Barin has been proclaimed as the newly-elected President of Aloria, after winning the second round of voting with 75.13% of the vote. His party, the Genuine Progress Alliance, also gained control of Parliament with 296 out of 750 seats.

"Today is a historic day, for we have successfully brought back the era of genuine progress in Aloria," remarked Barin in his victory speech in front of the GPA campaign headquarters in Kaunlaran City, Aloria. "Rest assured that we will do what we can to let this nation prosper."

In the future, please don't do that. It doesn't do good to your characters in this game, and it comes across as quite lazy.

MILITARY ON OFFENSIVE IN KURMAL!

After reports that the local government has sided with the rebels. The defense minister ordered a full scale attack on any rebel activity in the area. General Erwin von Manstein had this to say, "First these terrorists hijack a political party and now they hijack part of this great nation! We do not stand for this, and we will stop them from harming Aloria at any cost!"

The general ordered air strikes on all rebel bases in Kurmal, hoping to stop the movement once and for all. We are getting reports that some of these strikes have hit civilian targets, including 2 schools and 3 hospitals as well as many of the rebel bases. Civilian casualties are said to be in the hundreds. As of now, the government has remained quiet.

Nationalist Movement Gains Support Without an Party Platform

This Article is written by: Giovanni Greenley

Recently, we have a new political party accepted to be a second party member in Aloria. And they are making a splash. Since they became official, they already made a couple of bills with one of them being an out-right jab against Prime Minister Peter Schneider and every member of the Independent Party in the Federal National Council (which Movement Commissioner Stefan Stokley has been quoted to say the name of our congress is also lacking in reason) and demanding to change the nation name to the Allied States of Aloria.

Image
Mr. Nationalist himself, Oliver Irovy

The frontman for these bills and the presidential candidate for the Nationalist Movement of Aloria is a man named Oliver Ivory. Ivory, whose family raised him to dislike Aloria's one-party system back when it was an monarchy, has always wanted to make Aloria come back into the international stage since he began to show a love with politics when he was 22 in his final year at Port Aloria School of Law. After graduating in the top of his class a year later, he became a lawyer. After a decade being a lawyer, he formed the Nationalist Movement with fellow friend of the law Stefan Stokley and life-long friend since grade school Joe Davidson.

With Davidson mostly organizing the events, Ivory and Stokley are the candidates for President and Prime Minister in the recent and out of nowhere election ordered by the Council, which has been called an insidious power grab by members and supporters of the Nationalist Movement. Also, some of the more... out spoken members of the Independent Party had made sure if you know one thing about Mr. Ivory, it's this...

He's fat.

No really, that's it. Though it isn't the Councilmen who do this, some of the wild supporters of the Independent Party and the funnymen of Aloria have made jokes about his weight in talk shows, radio broadcasts, and of course the internet. This is partly because that the Nationalist haven't shown his views on much, due to lack of time, to make fun of him that way. Also it's partly due to the 'less than average intelligent' area of the country can't really think of anything else and to the jocks of society, nothing easier than to 'make fun of the fatty', so to say. Regardless of the fluffy jokes, he isn't become shy in the national spotlight. So, who knows what will happen between now and the next election. But one thing for sure is that you will see more of this on imageboards across the World Wide Web, for better or for worse.

Blackford, Yoshimura of NMA Chosen for New Cabinet Positions

This article is written by: George Rey

After a couple of years and a few bills, we now have two members of the Nationalist Movement that are in the Alorian Cabinet.1 This is just another victory for the NMA after they successful changed the nation's name to 'Allied States of Aloria', making interracial marriages in Aloria protected by the federal government, no longer in the hands of local government, and restricting what weapons can be carrying by citizens (Responding to the terrorist attack in Hobratsi which killed 27 and wounded more than 50 more2). Now, let us take this time to learn more about our new women in the cabinet.

3495 Elections Results Prove Bittersweet for Nationalists

This Article is Written by: Giovanni Greenley

On March 14, 3495 during election night, Nationalist Movement officials were excited to see the results. The reactions were mixed. Some say that for a second party in its first full election cycle to almost have 1/3 of the seats is a success. To others, the fact that the Independent Party still has a super-majority in the National Council is disappointing. With some advantages coming from two newly elected governors for the Nationalists, Alexandro Keyworth of Krentori and Liam Willenborg of Kurmal, with Keyworth almost winning two thirds of the votes. Sadly, for the Nationalists, the Independents had the largest margin of victory. In Gavonshire, the Independents gained an implausible 99.92% of the votes.

Image
A visual prediction of what you are doing with that newspaper after reading that last sentence.

Yeah, you read it right. Basically 100% of the votes in that state voted Independent. People of the Nationalist Movement say that those votes are impossible and that this has been a rigged election to keep a super-majority over them, and rightly so in my opinion. Now, due to this super-majority, we won't be having a re-election that could possibly put the odds in the movement's favor. So, if anyone in Gavonshire who reads this believes their has been fraud in the ballots of your state, let me promise you that you aren't the only one.

Cheers my fellow reader, until next time.

IHRM Spokesperson visits Nation

Image
Rivet meeting with Head of IHRM Aloria

Mona Rivet visited Aloria yesterday on a global campaign against the Deltarian slave trade. She was visibly tired from the long journey behind her and still in front of her. Her trip to Aloria was mostly filled with speech on the lack of Artanian union action on the slave trade calling it disheartening and disappointing. She toured historic Port Aloria for a day before leaving for Dolgavas.
