Union Party Wins Election

The Union Party, which was inactive for nearly a century, has won the 3787 Election after being re-founded by descendants of the Party's original founders. Angus Johnson, the Leader of the Union Party, charged onto the Alorian political scene, already robust with 8 different parties, and brought the Union Party back to its former glory after coming first in the election winning 137 out of 545 seats in the Parliament. The crowds at Johnson's campaign headquarters and similar locations around the country have celebrated and look forward to the Union Party's commitment to bring the nation "back towards the center-right where it belongs."

Despite the win, many have expressed disappointment. A few months prior to the election, the alliance between the ARM and CTF disbanded following a controversial religion bill proposed by the ARM. Consequently, the CTF went to the Union Party in hopes that they would support the CTF candidate in the next election. Reportedly, Mr. Johnson believed the Union Party's candidate, Carl Waters, would be able to win the presidency, therefore he did not respond to the CTF.

In fact, the actual presidential race was very close. ARM candidate, Cynthia Woods, received the backing of the ANC, GOP, and Movement of Social Democrats. She received 30.4% of the vote. Union Party candidate Carl Waters came in second place, without any endorsements, and received 27.58% of the vote. CTF candidate Derek Powell came in third with 25.89% of the vote, and Rodger Mortimer of the RCP received 15.82% of the vote with the endorsement of the Labor Party. The second round was held between Cynthia Woods (ARM) and Carl Waters (U). Woods, with the support of the ANC, GOP, and Movement of Social Democrats, received 55.01% of the vote. Waters, without any other party endorsements, received 44.75% of the vote. Following the final counting of votes, Carl Waters conceded to Cynthia Woods, but stated in his concession speech the following.

...and I want to make this clear: the Alorian people want change! They are tired of the same old liberal politicians in Llanymôr that are turning our great nation into one where the people are dependent on government, and where religion is stomped out of the public square. The Union Party stood firm and said 'we will stand for conservative values, and we will stand for what is right', and we won! I congratulate Mrs. Woods on her election win, but I will warn her that she won with only 55% of the vote with the support of three other parties, whereas our ideas and our party won 45% of the vote all on our own!

Johnson Criticizes Lack of New Cabinet

Angus Johnson speaks in Parliament on the inability to form a new Cabinet.

It has been nearly a year since the last election, and Parliament has still not yet passed a new Cabinet. There have so far been four Cabinet proposals introduced in the Parliament, none of which have been passed. The first proposal by the Union Party failed by the deadline. The second one proposed by the Union Party has received the support of the Movement of Socialist Democrats, but is not expected to receive enough support. The third proposal by the Royal Conservative Party is not expected to pass. The fourth and latest proposal by the Union Party may have a chance of passing. Union Party Leader Angus Johnson spoke on the floor of Parliament and criticized the government's inability to create a new Cabinet that reflected the change in Parliament and the recent voting electorate.

Mr. Speaker,

This new Cabinet proposal includes the Union Party, the Movement of Socialist Democrats, the Royal Conservative Party, and the Alorian National Congress. We hoped to form a Cabinet that reflected the electorate, but it appears that the fascists and the reformists are not willing to cooperate. We will gladly work with the Socialist Democrats, the Royal Conservatives, and the National Congress if it means progress. We hope that this Cabinet proposal will be the last in this session of Parliament.

If the latest Cabinet proposal is passed, Angus Johnson will become the new Prime Minister and the first in the Union Party's history.

LLANYMÔR - As elections approach, the centuries old party of the Good Folk (Draddwyr. Werin Da) has been resurrected by a handful of right-wing activists, local populist independents and hosian nationalist writers. At a rally in central Llanymôr, the new Tanist (leader), Tristan Sailor, announced that he will participate in the upcoming presidential elections:

We are a new party, a party of ordinary decent folk, but we are veterans when it comes to dealing with the establishment. For centuries, the Alorian folk have had to deal with a bunch of bigwigs fussing with their political system while completely ignoring the needs and the values of the people. These are the people who have burdened us with heavy taxes, interfered with our everyday family lives, does nothing to prevent abortion or the invasion of illegals, and are destroying our environment by dismantling our rural societies for the benefit of the unnatural urban lifestyles of the big cities. Good, honest decent folk have had enough. The establishment needs a big slap in the face. We want our say. We want a government that does as we say, not a haughty elite that tells us what to do or how to be. It is for this reason I announce my own candidacy for presidency.

Sailor also took the time to press his concerns about the treatment of ethnic Draddwyrs in North Dovani:

Aloria also needs to take on a much bigger role on the world stage. As the sole Draddwyr state on the planet, we have to react when the gook invaders in Dranland are conquering our ancestral homelands and driving our kin from their homes. During the last centuries, we experienced a genocide akin to the Draddwyr Genocide of the 3000's. And the establishment just sat there and did nothing. They were so deluded by their own political theories and liberalism so they failed to understand the basic human principle of solidarity with our own kin around the world. North Dovani is the Draddwyr Homeland. And as Aloria now represents the Draddwyr, responsibility for these areas rightfully falls to us.

New Party in town

A new Party by the name of the Hosian Revolt Party has entered the Alorian political scene, they've said they shall be ruining the countries Atheistic policy and making Aloria religious again.

NORBERT BISMARCK SLATED TO START 2ND TERM AS ALORIAN PRIME MINISTER; ENDORSES TRISTAN SAILOR OF WERIN DA FOR PRESIDENT

With the dissolution of the MSD, the CF's new Hosian Coalition seized the opportunity for unilateral control of the Alorian Cabinet. Norbert Bismarck and Erik Jernigan are slated to change seats, with Bismarck resuming his role as Aloria's Head of Government. The Werin Da were also awarded their preferred seat of Foreign Affairs. Bismarck's first cabinet was highly successful and long lasting. Bismarck has similar high hopes for this cabinet.

Bismarck also endorsed Tristan Sailor of the Werin Da for President, again, showing solidarity in his allies despite their loss in the previous election. "I'm confident they'll put on a good showing. He'll hopefully have more endorsements in this next election than he did in the last one."

AFP Has Returned.

After 43 years,The Alorian Front Party has returned to once again battle the extremist ideals of the Hosnians.After the latest election,Aloria has shown their favorability of the Alorian front Party,by granting them 63 seats,which makes the renown AFP the third most powerful party within the Republic.Long time AFP leader,Jax Thorn has stated "The return of AFP was sparked by one thing.Freedom has be insulted.The Hosnians has sent Aloria into economic state of peril,and are trying to coup the country.I blame it on the parties who has allowed extremist to form their own government.What were they thinking?.But now Aloria is back and we intend on making Aloria whole and right again.By first re-establishing our constitution and sending this Hosnians and their guiding light back to hell".

Richard Bullock on Bismarck Too religious agenda

After yet anther over the top religious bill HRP Leader Richard Bullock said this the CF's religious agenda,

"Don't get me wrong, we are 110% pro religious legislation, however Prime Minister Bismarck's agenda is too religious. He wants to create anther holy state of Bieteynu, and I dought any else wants that, we request that PM Bismarck will end his over zealous campaigns, or we will face worst riots then the ones we have now."

PRIME MINISTER BISMARCK STANDS BEHIND NEW HOSIAN CITIZENSHIP LAW

A law passed earlier this year changed one of the requirements of Alorian citizenship to be "profess faith in the Hosian religion." This law was the first of many new religious laws to be passed. Another law has Hosianism set to become the official religion of Aloria by next year.

Norbert Bismarck, the Archbishop of his own sect of the Alorian Bishopal Church (a schism formed when he was named Archbishop by the outgoing Bishop), welcomed the change and is personally glad non-Hosians no longer have voting rights, employment privileges, or welfare benefits.

"I personally believe if you don't have faith in Elyon and his son Eliyahu, you can leave this country. Only Hosians should be accepted here. If you want to be a part of this country, you're welcome to convert. If you don't want to do that, leave."

As a way to welcome back those recently disenfranchised, the Alorian Cultural Department has organized a series of baptismal booths. Here those who wish to convert to Hosianism and regain their citizenship are welcome to do so.

Kathy Schulz, Culture Minister, and Norbert Bismarck, PM, both encouraged "heathens" to use the fonts for their own salvation.

President Jax Thorn Addresses the Nation and International Community

It has been a long a grueling 9 years.Since the re-establish of the Alorian Front Party,Aloria had to fight many battles.Such as the Religious terrorists,a failing economy,and a cynical nation.We all knew that tackling all of these obstacles were not going to be easy,especially with a lot of this sentiment had been deeply rooted for decades now,but the tone that I used to describe Aloria then and now are entirerly different.Once again Aloria,is able to dream and to dweel in both happiness and freedom. Alorians today are now able to embrace their the freedom of religion,speech and political ideology.Aloria has a lot to be thankful for today.Personally as President of Aloria,I have to recognize that I would not be able to it myself.I thank the Alorian National Congress party,The Labor party,The New Alorian Party and The Hosnian revolt party who have fought longer and harder than even my very own Alorian Front Pary.Without the magnificent leaders with this party,diminishing the threat of Religious extremists,protect Aloria's,human and civil rights along with reviving our economy,none of Aloria advancements and achievements would have been possible.So I thank them.

But most importantly I thank the Alorian people.Within our very own parliament,I stood face to face without Religious Extremists and told them them that come next election time.The Alorian people will roar,and just like the Alorian Lion,you have all chased the these Religious extremists out of town.Never again shall Aloria be forced to listen and obey the crazy rhetoric for those who do not belong in Aloria's government.I am proud of Aloria and I am proud to be Alorian.About two years ago, the illegal former Prime Minister Bismarck stood in this very spot bragging about his new Hosian Ctizenship Law.Well a year later,I stand in the same spot he stood,and brag about how we have repealed his Hosian Citizenship Law,and now made it easier for all nationals to become citizens.We have repealed nearly every over the top religious bill that threads on the natrual rights of all Alorians,and currently fixing to repair our constitution,and making sure it is enforced and followed by future leaders.

I encourage the international security to once again give your trust back to Aloria.The Aloria you knew before is back and it is stronger than every before.The Alorian people are revved up for justice,and will never allow extremists anywhere impede on the rights of the innocent.Our economy is stronger and roaring,and we are ready to once again indulge in trade.And after experiencing what we have experienced in the last 20 years,we believe the Artanian treaty is no help to us and we will begin the process of seceding from it,and establishing a stronger and more efficient Artanian treaty.To buckle down on extremists,We have seen our faults and I call out for all of our allies and neighbors,to work with Aloria to make,Artania stong again.

Finally,I am announcing that I will be running for President again.My job as president of Aloria and leader of the AFP is not done yet.I still have to ensure that Aloria will continue to strive even after the AFP is long and gone. This election however will be my final election,and if I win.I will retiring after the end of the term,and going back to being a regular citizen of Aloria.Whether AFP will continue to exist after my leaving,is up to them.But if there is ever a time of need for Aloria,I am positive the future AFP,will follow in my footsteps,and take proactive steps to solve the problem.I once again thank everyone for their help and for listening to what i have to say.

ALORIAN TELEVISION NEWS NETWORK SPECIAL REPORT, MARCH 17th 3798

DEREK POWELL AND NORBERT BISMARCK KILLED BY ASSASSAIN AT OUTDOOR CAMPAIGN RALLY

We have terrible news coming in from Silbersteen in Kurmal. At 5:06 p.m. this evening, two gunmen shot and killed Derek Powell and Norbert Bismarck. The two were at a rally for Powell's presidential campaign.

Eyewitnesses report that the gunmen screamed "DEATH TO THE TERRORIST HORDE" and "WE'RE TAKING BACK ALORIA YOU FASCIST [expletive deleted]!" They then stormed the stage armed with military-grade semi-automatic shotguns Security converged on the gunmen but they were unable to prevent them from firing fatal shotgun blasts at Bismarck and Powell. After killing Bismarck and Powell they attempted to attack responding police forces. Police responders managed to take down the gunmen. One died at the scene, the other was shot in the head and was transferred to a local hospital. He is in a coma and is not expected to survive.

The identity of the gunmen is not yet known to the public, nor is their motive. Evan Llywelyn, acting Chairman of the CF, has announced in the wake of the tragedy that their campaign has been cancelled. He is expected to give a longer address regarding the party's future plans later in the week.

Bismarck was the Prime Minister of Aloria for twelve years in two terms and served as the leader of his own Hosian sect. His first period of government was effective, with Aloria defended from the Voronan conflict and a sorely needed national police for developed during his tenure. His second tenure was more controversial, with the establishment of highly retristive religious laws in Aloria during his term. He is survived by his son Mattias II, 34, a lawyer in Gavonshire.

Powell's political career began in Bismarck's cabinet as an interim replacement for the deceased Internal Affairs minister Dmitri Petrovich. Powell controlled Aloria's newly formed national police force under both cabinets. He was officially named minister in Bismarck's second cabinet. He is survived by his wife Morgana. They had no children
