Yasmine Axiaq's twin sons found Axiaq&Axiaq Medical Supplies - offers aid to help the crisis of Vorona
August 23rd 5031
Valentinu Forno
Santa Alexandra

The to-be Supreme Leader's twin sons, Ben and Bertu Axiaq have founded a medical company using some of the family funds to help those in need. The Axiaq&Axiaq Medical Supplies (or A&AMS for short) has gained a lot of attention in the last week since it's founding on the 17th. The CO-CEOs have gave a few comments about their business, and their plans for the future.

There is always need for more medical supplies, especially now that there is global conflict, and we have the funds to make these supplies. Medicine, Bandages, Casts, you name it. Me and my brother Ben lost our grandfather, and we know how much it hurts to lose a loved one, so we want to give others what we have lost. A family, a complete one, even in times of turmol. We hope we can help the families of the affected by war, disease and accidents.

Bertu Axiaq, CO-CEO of A&AMS

Right now the situation in Vorona looks dire, and troops being sent there isn't going to make it better. But we hope we can at least lessen the pain on those at home, by manufacturing medical supplies for the troops. Who knows, maybe it will even be profitable for us. But nevermind about profit, we are on a path of justice, which is why we offer our products to anyone who may need it. I know we might not compare to the more global corporations, but I assure you that Cildanian products are only the best of the best!

Ben Axiaq, CO-CEO of A&AMS

The Axiaq twins have purchased numerous factories in Cildania which have been mass producing much needed medical supplies, and are hoping to be able to purchase some abroad to lessen the costs of transportation. They have also mentioned that their goal is to one day expand their markets to a more global market, instead of their now mostly domestic one.

You can order the products of A&AMS from their HQ in Santa Alexandra, or make an order in axiaqaxiaqmedicals.cd

The coronation of Supreme Leader Yasmine Axiaq - reveals new government's program
September 2nd 5031
Cikku Adami
Qart Qildar

Now that the formalities have been concluded, the Yasmine Axiaq has officially risen to the throne as the Supreme Leader of the Democratic Axiaqist Republic of Cildania. At her coronation she has revealed her plans to boost the economy by giving loans and grants to promising businesses and industries, and lessening the need for subsidization and government involvement.

Image

Thank you all for joining me today in my coronation as the first female Supreme Leader of Cildania. I have already made some plans concerning the future of Cildania and I have talked with the cabinet, mostly with the minister of finance Leia Alessandro, and Minister of Trade and Industry Filippu Debono. I have come to an agreement with them that the current administration will be focusing on giving grants and loans to businesses to improve our economy and lessening the need for any subsidization and government involvement in these industries, so they may operate completely independently. Other plans include improving relations with nearby nations, and Majatra in general, but that is to be seen, and largely depends on their plans and ideas, I and Nathan Ginius, the minister of Foreign Affairs will be in contact with nations and organizations necessary to improve Cildania's status and position in the eyes of the rest of Majatra, and Terra. Thank you

Supreme Leader Yasmine Axiaq

The revealed government program is still up to interpretation, but it seems like Cildania is being transformed into a more capitalistic nation than it already is, and the nation is divided on the subject, although most people seem to be for these changes, as the government program has received more praise than hate due to the capitalistic nature of the people who have lived all of their lives under the administration of the mostly capitalistic PA.

Mystery Envelopes Cildanian Political Scene As Little Known Group Wins Power

Cildanians from all walks of life have expressed shock and concern at the rise of the little known Falcon Club to power. The Club won all 600 seats in the legislative elections held last Tuesday despite lacking formal organisational and leadership structures. It merely issued pamphlets with lists of candidates that it supported endorsed with a golden falcon seal and its motto "ancient and unending". Since the fall of the Axiaqist regime some four decades back, the country has almost entirely elected independents to the legislatures who in turn formed several unstable governments. The Club is the first group (other than the Majatran Socialist) to contest elections and despite its anonymity, extremely well funded. A study by the non-partisan Institute for Electoral Democracy estimates that the club spent between 25 and 30 million Cildars in its election campaign, much of the money was apparently handed over to voters in impoverished areas in envelopes, a charge that the Club's apparent main spokesman Jurgutha Firnas dismissed as "baseless and politically motivated."

The Club has pledged to restore some of Old Qart Qildar's glory. One of the key symbolic gestures taken to recapture some of the Old Qildar glamour is the adoption of a diarchical political system where the country is headed by two Shophets (Judges) each elected for two years terms, one elected by universal suffrage, the other by the legislature. Many members of the Club appear in the Adirim (Supreme Council) dressed in garb favoured by the rulers of the ancient Cildanian Hegemony. On the policy front, very few notable innovations have been proposed let alone implemented. The main focus is on rationalising the economy although even here the Club had announced that it will carry out its extensive privatisation program slowly and with rigorous regulations imposed. This has confused many who expected a so-called neoliberal approach given the business background of many of the Club's leaders.

Government Dismisses Tax Policy Criticism
June 16, 5090

Foreign Minister Hamilcar Ghonel has slammed "racially and envy motivated criticism of the Cildanian tax system" The comments came after Cildania was labelled in a Majatran Economic Times report as the top tax haven in Majatra with pointed references to its "Enterprise Tax Credit" The controversial tax credit which was introduced in 5081 allows for full tax deductibility of "all investments into local enterprises" and also restricts taxation to income earned locally only. This has led to a surge of registrations and relocation by several foreign and prominent corporations and wealthy individuals, most notably in the north western town of Kerets which now has three times as many registered companies as it has citizens. The country's financial sector, long dormant in the preceding decades characterised by political instability, has expanded sharply such that Shophet of the Adirim Jugurtha Firnas proudly announced that his family's Firnas Commercial Bank had quadrupled its revenues in the period between 5082 and 5089. Most other economic sectors while growing, have been much slower with the possible exception of the tourism sector. Trade Minister Hassan al-Hammad has admitted that the country's renowned wine sector was struggling against a rapidly appreciating Cildar due to the influx of foreign capital making Cildanian wines considerably more expensive.

Generational Transfer of Power Announced

Shophet of the People Hamil Boute, the country's head of state and co-leader of the government has announced that the Falcon Club will be conducting a "generational transfer of power" which will see him and Shophet of the Adirim Jugurtha Firnas retiring from public office at the 5091 election. The duo have led the country since June 4079 sustaining a policy of gradual reform. With elections rendered largely non-competitive, the Falcon Club's magic circle of donors, powerful elected officials and other influencers will decide on the future leadership and then recommend the candidates for the elections expected next year in June.

Diplomatic Affairs Act Introduced In House of Commons in CPP Government's Bid to overturn Conservative Party's Isolationist Policies
Image

The Diplomatic Affairs Act was introduced by Foreign Minister Marjanu Benjacar and has proceeded to its voting stage. The Bill, when passed will allow Foreign Nations to establish embassies in Cildania, subject to approval of the Foreign Office. The Bill will also grant diplomatic immunity to diplomats, however, they may be expelled for violation of Cildanian Laws.

This was a very significant move after the ratification of the Beitenyu Accord of Diplomacy by the CPP Supermajority in the House of Commons, and the Equifund Agreement currently being considered.

Cildania's House of Commons Votes on Equifund Agreement Treaty

Image

The House of Commons in Cildania is set to vote on a Bill ratifying the Equifund Agreement Treaty, a treaty that would give private entities in signatory nations access to the investment fund of the same name maintained by the government of Beiteynu. The purpose of the treaty is to provide funding for expansion and growth in the technology and defence industries.

The Equifund Agreement Treaty has been met with mixed reactions in Cildania, with some arguing that it would provide much needed investment and stimulate economic growth, while others have raised concerns about the potential risks and consequences of allowing private entities to access government funds.

Minister for Trade and Industry Angela Meilaq argued that it would provide a much needed boost to Cildania's technology and defence sectors, which have lagged behind those of other nations in recent years. She further states that the increased investment provided by the Equifund would allow Cildania to catch up and even surpass its competitors, bringing new jobs and economic opportunities to the country.

Opponents, however, argue that the treaty could expose Cildania to significant financial risks, as private entities would have access to government funds without sufficient oversight or accountability. They argue that the government should focus on investing in domestic industries and companies, rather than providing funding to foreign interests.

The vote currently stands with the CPP MPs voting in favour with no rejecting votes at the moment. It is expected that the Bill will be passed.
