Sacred Band Reborn





The fruits of the glorious Apostolic Revolution and the Apostolic faith in our nation will henceforth have their strongest defenders in the Sacred Band, a new branch of the Cildanian National Army replacing the Cildanian Marines. The Sacred Band (Dorkim Quddoshim), taking its name from the ancient elite military unit of the Qedarite Empire, is formed of men and women most committed to their ancient Apostolic faith, with the full blessing of our Holy Church, the Apostolic Department of Cildania. The Sacred Band will have the duty to safeguard the achievements of the Apostolic Revolution and will defend our nation from the attacks of anti-Hosian and secularist assaults, maintaining the supremacy of the Apostolic faith of all Cildanian citizens, whether Cildanian, Hebilean, or Seluco-Cildanian.

The Return of the Cildanian National Coalition
From a conference room at a resort deep in the highlands of Akildar, it was announced that the Cildanian National Coalition had been re-formed by a group of traditionally-raised descendants of Emperor Thomas I. Having had enough of the reign of the Liberal Workers, seeking a restoration of the old flag and the old ways, and longing for that which was long since past, they met, in secret, to plot the restoration of the Coalition. They quickly set about raising awareness for the Coalition through the proposal of bills to the Senate which all failed to garner any support from the Senate. Election day came around and the people of Cildania elected the Cildanian National Coalition into power with 60% of total seats. Since the resounding victory, the Coalition has been working to organize itself within the government. Many bills have been proposed which will pass, a new cabinet has been proposed, and an interim spending bill has too. Given time, we shall see what all of this really means for Cildania.

Terrorists Open Fire at Liberal Workers Annual Convention. Detonate deadly bomb as members flee. Hundreds feared dead.

In a well orchestrated terrorist attack, while Rash shel Amm Frang Gill'losa was giving his highly anticipated speech located at the Liberal Workers massive party headquarters located in the city of Paja', Ylrith (also known as Qart Ramesh or Namal Kbiir), an estimated of at least a dozen gunmen opened fire on the head of state, elites standing behind him, and large packed crowd as they attempted to take cover and flee. As a stampede of party faithful fled the building, causing even more deaths, a bomb detonated at the front and back entrances to the building simultaneously, causing the most civilian deaths. Further delays were caused as competing fire fighting services, attempting to get to the fire first and prevent the other from putting the fire out and getting the money, attempted to run each other off the road and at even one point shoot at each other between trucks. Although police and paramedics that arrived at the scene attempted to do what they could, they could not reach the building that had mostly burned to the ground by the time fire fighters were able to work together, instead of against each other, to put out the fire. Police found the charred remains of what is expected to be all the terrorists but caution is still encouraged as police continue to investigate for other possible gunmen on the loose in the city.

The safety and whereabouts of all Liberal Workers cabinet ministers and Rash shel Amm Frang Gill'losa are unknown but grim except for Foreign Minister Yosef Cyneheard who is visiting Zardugal at the time. Survivors of the incident reported seeing Gill'losa struck multiple times by a semi-automatic pistol before falling to the ground.

The nation mourns today as the body of Rash shel Amm Frang Gill'losa was discovered today. He is remembered not only for his high energy flamboyance, but cunning use of politics to call an early election and come back to a sweeping defeat against the rival CNC party after they gained a majority government against his a few years before. A large makeshift memorial has been set up near to the remains of the Liberal Workers Party Headquarters were the investigation continues to go on. Some people brought flowers to show their respect but the majority brought stuffed Cildanian Seawolf's, the nations national animal, as Gill'losa was remembered as being a lover of this animal and even owning a few in a large aquarium at his mansion in Azzard, Akinnawa.

Born in Azzard, Gill'losa quickly rose in Cildania politics while the nation was a one party state. He was well liked for his flamboyant but kind personality. Politicians and celebrities across the nation expressed their sorrow to Gill'losa's family and gratitude for his hard work. Very popular celebrity chef Lyla Yongoru is quoted as saying "Thank you Frang for always standing up for what you believe in. Thank you for your hard work and exuberant personality. Condolences to the family as they grieve at this time during this awful day in our nation."

The Liberal Workers lost a number of high ranking members during the terrorist attack yesterday. Also among the dead are Finance Minister Felix Gusztáv, Defense Minister Dawid Callixtus, Science and Technology Minister Cyprian Arihel, Trade and Industry Minister Aran Carloman, party president Nachum Diklah, senate party whip Anan Erminigild, and Gill'losa's wife Pua Gill'losa.
Justice Minister Jada Yeshua was injured in the attack but escaped and survived and is now recovering in the hospital. Full details on his recovery is expected to be released later today. Food and Agriculture minister Clarus Abessalom escaped uninjured and has strongly condemned the attacks, even going to the point of suggesting CNC religious radicals were to blame.

Foreign Minister Yosef Cyneheard, who has been thrust into a position of leadership for his party, spoke from Zardugal yesterday. He strongly criticized internal affairs minister Duni Ecmuncaloḣ of the Whig Party for his failure in policing and protecting the region. He also spoke of his plans to run as head of state in the next election for the party and his plans to hold an election and begin campaigning the next day.

Justice Minister Jada Yeshua Assassinated in hospital bed. Abessalom escapes second assassination attempt and flees nation. Liberal Workers disbanded.
While being prepared for emergency surgery, Yeshua was approached by a man dressed in disguise of hospital scrubs who pulled out a high caliber pistol, shooting Yeshua twice in the head and once in the chest before pulling the gun on his own head and killing himself.

Around the same time Food and Agriculture minister Clarus Abessalom escaped death a second time as gunmen attempted to storm his home where he was grieving with family. Three men shot his security team as they stormed the house in Qam, Akildar. Hearing their gunfire he hid his family and armed himself with his own gun, hunting the four attempted assassins one at a time, killing all four of them. Afterwards Abessalom fled with his family on a private plane straight to Beiteynu where he requested political asylum from President Eliyahu Mofaz.

Fearing for his life Foreign Minister Yosef Cyneheard choose to stay in Zardugal where he is quoted as saying this.

"Fearing for the life of my friends, family, and party members, I am temporarily officially disbanding the Liberal Workers. It is a sad day when religious terrorists win but we will be back but need time for calm to take place, religious extremists to face justice, and a party to refocus. This is not the end of the Liberal Workers my friends but the beginning of a new era within a couple of years. I request the President of the Federation Miela Faustin of Zardugal for immediate political asylum for the safety of myself and my family so that Cildania can go back to the great democracy it once was."

Paja', Ylrith and Zetmazrax Fall into Choas as Riots ensue across Cildania

Across Cildania protests took place as the backlash against religion from former members of the Liberal Workers took place. Many religious places of worship were attacked beginning in the night but going on towards daytime as the angry crowds grew larger. Most city police officers with their military equipment successfully kept the rioters at bay and damage to a minimum, especially in Ramal, Akhak, Yaahaat, and Cabax but Paja' where the Confederation of Autonomous Communities who were very loyal to the Liberal Workers, flew into intensive riots that saw most religious buildings burned to the ground. Riots have also brown out in Zemazrex, a suburb of Akhar, where religious monuments and praying grounds continue to be attacked by Atheists extremists.

Peaceful protests across the nation have also taken place, demanding justice for the terrorists attacks so that fair democracy can once again come to Cildania. Many religious leaders were also among these protests as they showed the ability to be unified with their Atheists brothers. The largest protest was in the capitol city Qart Qildar where an estimate 300,000 showed up for peaceful protests outside the building where the senate meets where new elections were being called for by the surviving members of the Liberal Workers before they disband.

Cildania Hit By Second Terrorist Attack - Over a Thousand Feared Dead





In an extremely shocking twist to the ongoing Zardic-Voronan War, the nation of Drovik hit the Cildania town of Kapr today with chemical weapons, murdering an estimate 1400 innocent civilians today, mostly women and children, and even a few of their own captured soldiers. While the cildanian troops deployed there had the gear and ability to protect themselves from the attack, most of the civilians had no time to flee as their bodies were melted away from their bones. It was in retaliation to the Cildania government using chemical weapons on invading Drovik forces which was used in a precise and careful manor to drive back invading troops and nothing else. Due to the images produced many Cildanian men and women volunteered to join the military today. Many have begun to build paramilitaries, controlled by the government, set to defend their towns and cities along the coastlines for any future attack by Drovik. Rash shel Amm Yosef Cyneheard spoke today in the capital with the following statement.

"Five years ago Cildania faced a terrorist attack supported by the corrupt Voronian government. In order to get justice for our people we joined our allies Zardugal in a war to make sure Vorona did not gain valuable oil fields to carry out future terrorist attacks on other innocent nations. So far in the war our position has been defending Zardugal's citizens along the coastline and nothing else. In retaliation, the nation of Drovik had a failed attempt at invading our nation today. During this we used chemical weapons. It was in a well controlled atmosphere directed only at the invading Drovik who we were not even at war with. In spiteful retaliation the government of Drovik dropped heavy chemical weapons on our people, murdering thousands, in a cowardly terrorist attack. We call on the Vanuku and Sekowan to condemn these cowardly actions done by Drovak and ask them why they continue to support terrorist governments that continue to attempt to destroy Cildania in the name of false imperialism."

Hosians Fight Back
Hosian terrorists react to Selucian dictatorship




September 3869 - In 3862 the short-lived communist regime in Cildania was overthrown by a minority Selucian regime, allegedly funded and supported by the Selucian Republic. Calling itself the "Most Serene Cildanian Empire", the Selucian regime, led by Emperor Quintus Sibilla, proceeded to implement a series of increasingly dictatorial laws aiming to entrench its apartheid regime over the majority Qedarite population of Cildania. The most radical of these laws is the recent attempt by the Empire to ban all religious practice under pain of death, also threatening to dismantle all religious buildings in Cildania. As the nation is home to more than seventy-five million Apostolic Hosians, this law comes as an attack on the lives of the vast majority of Cildanians. The stated intent of demolishing all religious buildings and places of worship also risks turning into a crime against humanity, as Cildania hosts a large number of heritage religious sites, including the Great Sinagogue of Qart Qildar, built in the 15th century, the Patriarchal Cathedral of Mor Origen from the 17th century, or the Medieval Mor Yaqub cathedral in Har Yafe.

Reacting to this major assault on the religious freedom of Cildanians, the Apostolic Army in Majatra, the unrecognized terrorist arm of the Apostolic Church of the East, intensified its religious activities in Cildania. The Apostolic Army in Cildania, its local branch, currently led by Baalhaan bin Hiram, initiated a number of attacks on governmental buildings and on Selucian-majority areas in the Capital. The Apostolic Army had much to gain from the disintegration of Majatran regimes in the aftermath of the Jelbic War, and in Cildania the Army, in the lack of a working central authority, engaged in piracy throughout the duration of the Communist regime, greatly increasing its wealth and military strength. In a remarkable gesture of ecumenical cooperation, the Apostolic Army declared they would work closely with Yeudi and Ahmadi militias in Cildania, who are also greatly affected by the Selucian minority regime, and announced support for the Caliphate currently ruling in Badara. The Cildanian Empire Boosts Anti-terror Measures

Caius Sanga, the Minister for Interior Affairs have ordered both the Imperial Police and the Interior Security Constabulary(ISC) to trackdown and apprehend the members of the terrorist organization, HaShaba HaShelaḣi biQilda. Meanwhile the Imperial Prosecutor Barekbaal have issued an arrest warrant for the alleged ringleader of the HaShaba HaShelaḣi biQildar. The Chancellor does not have feedback about the terror group, but refers to the Interior Security Constabulary, the security police of Cildania.



The Defense Minister Titus Publicola has planned a large military exercise in May 3870, in which all relevant defense authorities will be involved. Preparations for the military exercise is already beginning and major camps have been built in undisclosed locations.

Cildanian Terrorist Ringleader Arrested In Ramal



A suspected leader of a terrorist organization have been detained by the Interior Security Constabulary, the rumor is that it's the Patriarch Baalshilek III that have been detained. No official have yet to comment the rumor and refer to the confidentiality of criminal investigations. A small rebellious mob were present at the location of the crackdown and the mob soon revealed their true nature. The Chancellor Faustus Rufius condemns the unnecessary violence against honest men doing their job to protect the citizens of Cildania.




The Chancellor says that "Neither the Government or the Cildanian people will accept terrorists or other vicious elements that try to destabilize the peace". To increase the security in Ramal and the neighbouring areas, the 2nd Imperial Military Police Division have been deployed in Jilṣun to ensure the safety of the Canton. The Imperial Navy have dispatched a "multi-purpose corvette" to patrol the sea outside of Ramal.

The Government Confiscates and Demolish the Medieval Mor Yaqub Cathedral in Har Yafe

A series of images have emerged which show the destruction of almost a dozen ancient shrines and buildings in Har Yafe.
The photographs, which show the destruction in Har Yafe, were posted on the official Government website which frequently carries official statements from the Cildanian Government.
Some of the photos show bulldozers plowing through walls, while others show the building being demolished by explosives in a cloud of smoke and rubble.

The Cildanian Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, Opiter Portius said to the CBC that "the Great Sinagogue of Qart Qildar is the next building in line to be demolished, and a major parking garage to be built in it's place".

The Government Authorizes the Use of Lethal Force



The Cildanian Government have authorized the use of lethal force for the law enforcement and the military. Both the law enforcement agencies and the Military have intensified it's crackdown against the hosian terrorists. One source claims that "neighborhood have been targeted and that the ISC have obtained a list of members of certain Hosian congregations".

The spokesman Lydus Synistor of the ISC informs us that it's "pure desinformation and false information, It's anarchists and communists that's trying to undermine the public safety and the war against terrorism".

Anti-government militias launch assault



February 3872 - The demolishing of the medieval Mor Yaqub cathedral, one of the oldest Hosian churches in Majatra, has sparked a civil war between the Selucian minority regime and anti-government militias. The Apostolic Army in Cildania has formed a deal with Yeudi and Ahmadi militias with the purpose of forming a unified religious front against the anti-religious Selucian government, and the new religious paramilitary has launched a full assault on the Imperial Army and governmental buildings throughout the nation. Religious monuments and major congregations are currently being patrolled by the Apostolic Army, seeking to avoid a repeat of the Mor Yaqub disaster. Additionally, unofficial sources speak of a potential alliance of convenience between the Apostolic Army and the Communist Party, both of whom are united by their strong opposition towards the Selucian dictatorship, while the Apostolic Army is aiming to gain the support of the monarchist Cildanian National Coalition by recognizing the House of Thomas as the legitimate claimants to the Cildanian Throne. Further fueling the civil war was the attempt by the government to replace the Apostolic Department of Cildania with a new creation, the Church of Cildania, which would function under the direct supervision and control of the Imperial government. This act managed to alienate the little support the Selucian government may still have, as their allies desert them one by one and the regime may soon face a united front.
