'Double-Thinking Half-Wit', Kurtz Fires Back At 'Hypocritical Psychopath'

Image

In yet another of her infamous interviews, Ada von Kurtz blasted the leader of the TGP as a 'double-thinking half-wit' and a 'hypocritical psychopath', before calling him 'the hypocrite-in-chief careerist swine-herder'. Her comments echo the strong anti-TGP opinions of many across the political spectrum, who have grown tired of what they label '#TGPbabbling'. Kurtz took particular issue with 'the cycle of the TGP saying something crazy, getting a response, then playing the victim and pretending they've suffered like nobody else'.

Kurtz also defended her savaging of former president Edmund Treitschke, who she said 'is not mentally ill, he's simply an evil loon like his successor'. It was her comments about this widely disliked figure, who single-handedly lost the TGP many seats, that caused the most outrage from a party still - even if they deny it - loyal to him. Meanwhile, her own supporters hijacked the #DecentDorvik hashtag and posted quotes from TGP politicians, mainly the leaked quote from the president calling for a 'purge' of atheists and communists.

Hertz is the most controversial figure in Dorvik, which contrasts with her good friend President Grunebaum's high approval rating a low level of controversy. Grunebaum has repeatedly denied attempts to get her to talk about the TGP's leader and his comments, saying she is 'above petty squabbles'. Grunebaum received particularly good coverage for confirming that the communist bus stop would remain in Kordusia, at the behest of Friedrich Pfeiffer. The unexpected move keeps her approval rating well above 70%.

Hertz's full comments:
I've never heard such pathetic drivel come from this double-thinking half-wit. The cycle of the TGP saying something crazy, getting a response, then playing the victim and pretending they've suffered like nobody else needs to stop, this hypocritical psycho needs to stop acting like he's the most decent person alive after accusing people of being corrupt.

You know who was corrupt? Edmund Treitschke. He is not mentally ill, he's simply an evil loon like his successor. Are we meant to feel sorry for a man who called for his opponents to be murdered? The TGP don't care about people who oppose them. They want power.

The hypocrite-in-chief careerist swine-herder Aswalt, who may I add was born into money and has never worked a day in his life, needs to go.

LOCAL TGP ANNOUNCES HOSIAN PRESERVATION FRONT
Local TGP Members announces the creation of the HPF (Hosian Preservation Front)

Local TGP members in Miktar have announced the creation of a new movement to preserve Hosian traditions among the dorvish people.
The new organization called the Hosian Preservation Front is seen by many as dangerous. Particularly because the group has a movement manifesto. In this manifesto a paragraph is included saying that
Hosianism is the true pillar on which this nation was build. People that denounce this have spit in the face of god and will have to see the true meaning of their lives revaluated by our lord

Image
The logo of the HPF

The Movement which is already seen as militant by some was created by Ultra conservative local members of the TGP in Miktar.
When Aswalt was asked about the topic he responded:

I have heard the news yes. While our party supports hosian ideals and principles we do not support the creation of special groups aimed at forcing people to undertake any form of religion. We vouch for peacefull and democratic transitions to a more religious and respective society. We have watched the developments in Miktar with caution and have decided to expell the TGP members that contributed to the creation of this group from the party. They have never been in the political structure of the party and where merely members of it but we still do not want to affiliate ourselves with any religious group that pressures our society and its people.

This was the statement by Theodore Aswalt clearly distancing himself and his party from this new organisation.
When Aswalt was asked about the comments made by Hertz he said:

We have made our point. We thank the people for their support but i refuse to continue a pointless fight with a former diplomat who vouched for the interference in Dorvish elections from within the world congress. This endless creation of meaningless words is not leading to any constructive debate or discussion and i will therefor not react to it. If you would excuse me i have to get to work.
*Smiles to the reporters and continues his way*

After this brief run in with Aswalt he continued his way to the Paliament to attend a session there.

According to estimates the HPF has around 200 members at this point mostly centered from within Frostenbruck (Miktar)
Since the movement is an extreme Religious Hosian movement it has attracted the hard core of the religious community and even some more moderate religious people within Miktar thanks to their manifesto in which detailed plans of the "Return to Glory and Believe" are outlined. Thanks to this attraction and media coverage the number of members is expected to rise rather quickly.

We will closely follow its development.

HPF GROWS+SPEECH
The HPF starts to grow in not only Miktar while its leader makes a tour

In Miktar the new HPF has started to grow at a concerning rate. Over 3,000 people are estimated to have joined the Hosian "militant" group which means they have a total of 3,200 members now. Not only in Miktar but in neighboring Largonia new HPF members are also reported. While the group is growing quickly its leader which calls himself "JÄGER" has been touring the towns and villages in which the HPF gains most support. JÄGER is always dressed the same. A long black coat and a black scarf covering his mouth. His head has a hosian cross carved in, this is one of the serveral scars on his body but the only one he doesnt cover up to show his Hosian believes. Some reporters tried to find his real name but failed to do so. One of our reporters managed to get into one of the meetings and listened to JÄGER's speech.

The unfaithfull.... even calling out the word makes me sick. How can people not believe in the one true lord who has brought us so many glory and prosperity? Why do people believe in false gods? Or nothing?! We are the protecters of the land. The knights that stand guard in our darkest hour. We will grow until we can no more. This Front will be a front of the faithfull! The people who believe in our true heritage! Let us rise to glory and bring the one true lord to the people of this land! We will not stop! We will not give in! We will believe and enforce!

Image
The newly created flag of the HPF with the Hosian cross united with its militant fist under a white background

After the speech our reporter witnessed the crowd of around 50 people cheer and making a fist in the air which most likely is the sign of the movement. He also noticed that JÄGER used a device to change his voice to an extremely dark tone. He most likely does this to avoid detection from authorities but also to induce some form of respect amongst his members.
The alarming rate of the growth of this movement has sparked unrest in some parts of Miktar. But while some oppose the radical movement others see it as an oppurtunity. Some seccesionists have been accepting HPF members to their secession organisations. Hoping to ignite the old flame for independence by bringing radicalism in the mix...

Weinreich faces pressure to toughen religious policies

For some years, Communist leader Anton Weinreich, with the help of the party's Religious Affairs Officer, Rudi Hutmacher, has sought to soften the party's anti-religious image and reach out to religious voters. That stance is now increasingly coming under threat, as concern is growing amongst Communist MPs that radical minority religious movements are getting out of control and need to be dealt with more strongly. In the course of recent years, support has grown for Children of the Spirit, Thetanism, Felinism, Spirituality of the Banana and now the Hosian Preservation Front.

Friedrich Pfeiffer, the former leader, and Heiko Herzfeld, the former Governor of Kordusia, are both known to take a strongly anti-religious line, and would like to pass laws making it more difficult for all religions to operate and evangelise.

Ester Brauer, the former Agriculture Minister, favours tolerance for the main established religions, the Independent Confessional Church and the Aurorian Patriarchal Church, but wants to clamp down on the others, including Children of the Spirit.

Herman Faust-Essen, who supports independence for the southern states, is protective of the interests of the Hosian churches, since they are important to a lot of southerners, especially those in the southern independence movement. He is also protective of the Children of the Spirit, again perhaps partially due to its popularity in the south and amongst southern separatists in particular. Almost alone amongst Communist MPs, he has downplayed concerns about the Hosian Preservation Front, calling the reports about them "exaggerated" and even suggesting "the negativity about this group has been largely influenced by northern prejudice against the south". However, he is known to take a much harsher attitude towards other minority religions, like the Thetanists and the banana cult.

Anton Weinreich, Erica Peters and Rudi Hutmacher are relatively liberal on religious issues, favouring freedom of religion for all, although they do insist on a strictly secular approach, with no state religion and no religious schools.

It is being widely speculated that the next Communist Party Conference will force Weinreich to take a tougher line on religion than he would prefer.

Pfeiffer planning mischief with Valruzia's trains?

Social media is rife with rumours that Communist MP Friedrich Pfeiffer is in discussions with left-wing Metzist militants from the Walruzyjska Front Wyzwolenia Proletariackiego or Valruzian Proletarian Liberation Front (VPLF). It is being reported that he is advising the VPLF on orchestrating a series of direct action protests against the separation of seats on the new Strzała trains into different classes, with travellers who pay more getting a more luxurious standard of travel.

Pfeiffer masterminded a series of direct action protests against first class train seats in Dorvik during the 4290s, before he entered parliament. His tactics involved purchasing second class tickets with large numbers of volunteers, then creating a disruption by boarding the train and attempting to sit in the first class seats, protesting that the trains should not be "segregated". This frequently resulted in shouting matches and even fisticuffs between the protesters and the first class passengers whose seats they were occupying. For a while, Pfeiffer and his fellow activists succeeded in wreaking havoc across Dorvik's transport system, and things got so bad that at one time Pfeiffer was banned from every train network in Dorvik, and also from Haldor City Airport, where he had orchestrated a protest against "class segregation" in airport lounges and in aeroplanes. Even today, he is banned from travelling by train in Vinisk City, due to the disruption he caused there.

Pfeiffer thanks President Grunebaum for saving Communist Bus Stop (and asks her to save another one)

Friedrich Pfeiffer has thanked President Grunebaum for agreeing to put a preservation order on the Communist Bus Stop in Kordusia, saying he was "impressed the President has had the foresight to appreciate the importance of this monument to future generations".

Image
Communist Bus Stop in Trelin, Westmark

However, he has now found another Communist Bus Stop, this time in Trelin, Westmark, which was laid out in remembrance of a popular local Communist councillor who passed away 20 years ago. Pfeiffer has written to the President, explaining to her that "this is a very rare and unique bus stop" and asking her to put a preservation order on it.

Banana Cult submits Hulstria peace proposals to World Congress

Image

Ilsa Sitz, the Founder and Prophetess of the Spirituality of the Banana (SotB) cult, has written a 38 page letter to the World Congress, explaining that "last night the bananas came to me in my dreams and told me to write to you about several things".

Her "Peace Plan for Hulstria" includes two main proposals. The first is that the dictator Leopold Nimitz should be offered the position of General Secretary of the World Congress in exchange for peacefully stepping down from power "in order to facilitate a transition to a new form of government". The second is that "the international community should fund a massive Bananas For Peace Project, sending hundreds of millions of bananas to Hulstria in aid, as this will alleviate famine, improve diet and help the Hulstrian peoples to ascend to a more spiritual and peaceful state of being, which will reduce tensions and help them to co-exist better with each other".

On an unrelated matter, she also warned the World Congress that seat number 666 of the Pontesian parliament "may have been specially reserved for the anti-Hosios" (OOC: Anti-Christ) and advised them to "set up a working party to investigate this".

Grunebaum Attempting To Secure 'Stable Government'

Image

Despite three parties having been dissolved since the election, and springing forth spiritual successors - the Feminists and Democratic Socialists for The Left; the Conservative and Reformist Alliance for the AfD - the President says that 'a stable government can still be formed, and our nation can still unite'. Renewal has officially stated its intention to carry the government on, between the PP, LKP and Renewal itself, for another year. This is a controversial step, but many voters have voting fatigue and there are concerns turnout will be low.

The now more conservatively-balanced coalition government is currently putting to vote conservative and capitalistic views that include infrastructure, foreign aid and tax proposals. Some have the support of the President, and those ones are likely to pass unless the PP continues to support an early election motion, something they had previously been against.. However, the PP has expressed support for an early election, and one is imminent lest the party retreat from that stance. Grunebaum is continuing discussions on this matter.

Grunebaum will be running again, likely with PP and LKP support, and they are working on gaining support from other areas. The cramped left and cramped right may leave space for the centrist Renewal party to win a greater amount of seats in the election, or may lead to little success again and Grunebaum being disavowed by the public. Whatever the results, the minuscule presence of Renewal in Parliament must grow drastically in order for the Presidency of Madam Grunebaum and the Coalition to remain in tact for another term.

Heilprin: 'One Dorvik Will Be The Positive Party'

Image
Above: Largonian outsider Bianca Heilprin, who won the leadership race to take over Renewal.

Renewal has officially reformed into 'One Dorvik' and has selected a total outsider and parliamentary newcomer, Bianca Heilprin, and a modest backbencher, Leopold Fric, as its new leaders. According to Heilprin, the party is interested in postivity and unity, saying 'One Dorvik will be the positive party'. While the party has little support in parliament for the time being, it is hoping to combine federalist and centrist third-way policies to gain traction and change Dorvik. The party has already received a coalition offer from the President.

While Käthe Grunebaum conceded in the Presidential election, lacking key support to win, and Ada von Klaus lost her seat in the party's sole incumbent loss of the night in parliament, a new ground-swell is occurring for 'a new kind of politics', as Heilprin calls it. 'People are sick of the arguing and the fighting', she argues, 'they want common-sense solutions and a reasoned debate around the centre'. She promises that if in government, she will work on uniting the cabinet and the coalition 'to do the right thing, always for our one Dorvik'.

The explosive election, resulting in the new President's DSU and Aswalt's TGP dominating and holding hundreds of seats, has caused both Renewal and the LKP to rebrand. Other One Dorvik leader Leopold Fric says 'it's a wake up call to us in Haldor that the people out there want solutions, not arguments'. Fric offered a personal apology to the TGP's leader for the comments of his former colleague Ada von Klaus, and said that 'it's not the way we should be, it's not the way the people want us to be'. Time will tell how Heilprin and Fric do.

Julia Schroeder,Rupashree Patel Lose their Seats as LKP Turns into "Dorvik For All"

The Liberal Conservative Party has officially Rebranded today as the Centre Left "Dorvik For All"after the Party Lost 26 of its Incumbents and the Outgoing Foreign Minister and Finance Minister both lost their seats in Haldor and Weinsedorf to the DSU and TGP respectively turning to be a huge embarrassment for both of them and they announced that they will be leaving politics all together,The LKP parliamentary Meeting, which was conducted in Haldor, voted unanimously to Change it's Name to "Dorvik For All"and also announced a comprehensive policy revamp which ditched all of the parties previous commitments to privatisation and Liberalisation and rather pressed to expand Government regulations and involvement in the economy,The LKP and Erneurung,Both have rebranded themselves and are making themselves more presentable to the voters,we will have to see if this will work out for both parties.

The Party Also Appointed Rupashree Patel as Interim Leader until a new Leader can be elected and she has stated that she will not interfere with the parties move to the left.

TGP STANDS
The TGP gets a major electoral victory and still proves to be strong

The TGP has shown that it can regain its strength after losing it. After the election the party won back most of its lost seats from the previous election gaining a massive 117 seats making the total number of seats 209 the largest in parliament.
The south has once again put its trust in the TGP which pledged to defend southern culture and religion. The TGP has already promised in its campaign to lower its tone after this election and to make sure that the voices of everyone is heard.
Rumors are coming up of the DSU and TGP talking about a possible coalition to make this goal a reality. With a Conservative and Socialist government the TGP would achieve their goal of having everyone's voices being heard and it could turn out to be a fruitfull cooperation. But long-time members of the TGP (mostly pure conservative) have denied the idea and protest it during party meetings. The moderate wing is open to it and we will see how things will turn out.

We thank all the hardworking people for their believe in our party! We have promised to unite the people and to bring sensible all-side policy's on the table and that is what we will do! While we lost the presidency narrowly that should not stop us! We have all spoken! We want policy for not only the right for not only the left but for everyone in Dorvik! And i will tell you here and now. This party, the TGP will fight for you in opposition or government! We will bring this new policy to the table and we will do it good! *crowd cheers* I will mark this day. This day of happiness and believe. Because from this day We will protect the Dorvish identity and its principles. From this day we will make sure everyone is being heard! *crowd cheers*

Image
Theodore Aswalt at his party HQ just after his speech

THE FRAGMENTED RIGHT

While Theodore has tried to gain support of right wing party's during the election for president he failed to convince the party leaders to support him. While Aswalt narrowly lost from Neuhäusser he did fight him tooth and nail. With no support from any of the right wing party's Aswalt won in the first round with over 7 million votes while only losing by 376.048 thousand votes thanks to the DKP's support for Neuhäusser. The right seems fragmented, failing to support one candidate and refusing to support Aswalt in the second round the party's now have a left wing president at the helm. With other right wing party's rebranding in order to survive. Will the TGP be the one last standing in this ever changing political landscape?

DCS DEPOT RAIDED: HPF?

Just after the election in the middle of the night a former DCS (Dorvan Crime Syndicate) weapon depot was alledgedly raided by HPF(Hosian Preservation Front) members. The DCS has been dying down since massive operations of Dorvik, Istalia and other nations have caused the organization to implode. While some members are still active most of their organisational structure is destroyed thanks to Dorvish and Istalian security operations. The depot was one of the last DCS locations to be operating. After the raid police found a body of an alledged DCS member with a Hosian Cross branded into his forehead sparking the rumors that the HPF may have committed the raid. If these rumors are true the HPF is now in the possesion of over 500 assault rifles and hundreds of small arms and ammo for them. Police found out the ammount of weapons that where stashed after finding a list with all the weapons on the location. Also at least 1 RPG has been taken while 2 where still on the spot when police arrived.

Meanwhile the HPF keeps growing at a concerning rate, attracting southern religious voters and community's because of their feel of the federal government not listening to the south and its religious principles. While the south has given the TGP the task to regain that trust the HPF now has over 30.000 members and counting. A massive so called "Takramit" has been announced by the HPF leader JAGER with a video on DorvikTube. A Takramit is a massive gathering of people in which everyone prays under the watchfull eye of the religious head (JAGER). In this "Takramit" JAGER will give a speech after which everyone will pray in silence for a predetermined period of time.

We will see if the rumors about the HPF commiting the raid are true and will keep you up to date on the further growth of the movement.

TGP MEMBER KLUTSCH TAKES OVER FINANCE MINISTER SEAT!

The demissionary finance minister Rupashree Patel has lost her seat to the TGP conservative Gregory Klutsch.
Klutsch is new in politics and had been introduced for the possibility of a seat by leader Aswalt after Aswalt's reorganization of the TGP.
Taking over the seat gave Klutsch and Aswalt a lot of publicity. Klutsch has now already been elevated to be one of the most known members of the TGP.
The finance minister alledgedly called Klutsch on his first day of his parliamentary carreer and told him "I understand if you feel a bit overwhelmed but taking over someone with my experience is a hard thing to do"
Klutsch ensured her that he knew what he was doing and was not overwhelmed. After a brief conversation Klutsch and Patel put down the phone. Many negative reactions followed on Patel's statement towards Klutsch. Patel has not yet reacted to the incident and rumors tell that she is being pressured by her (old) party to keep quiet until things die down.

Klutsch already ensured journalists that "I am sure saying this was not her intention, she has given excellent work to this country in the past years for which i am thankfull. I will try to do the best i can to ensure this seat stays a valued one"
