TGP WINS ELECTIONS!
The TGP has won elections in Dorvik and promises to "Bring back our democracy"

The TGP has won elections in Dorvik. Party officials where "exhausted but extremely happy" with the result. Their platform of religious conservatism has clearly catched onto the people in Dorvik and mainly the south where the TGP won large majority's. Party president Mathias Blocher said the following during a speech to supporters at the TGP HQ.

I am extremely proud of our achievement today! The people have spoken out for democracy and it is incredible! Let us rebuild a nation that has been struck by an immense tragedy just moments ago and restore the true democracy of Dorvik! We we build a future of tradition and shall make sure that we get back to the core that dorvik is known for. Strength, leadership and cooperation!

It is expected that Mathias Blocher will be appointed as the HOG. That position is also planned to change its name to Chancellor of the Republic while a elected president will be called President of the Republic under a proposed law by the TGP.

The election win marks the possible end to a dark period in dorvish history that saw the "red menace" transform the country into a authoritarian left wing dictatorship. This election was marked as "the last election of Dorvik" and it seems it will not be. Many people that where still at the sit-in in the capital erupted in celebration and accros the nation the former federal republic's flag was waved in street celebrations. Now the TGP is planned to form a centre-right government and "re-establish the basic institutions that were lost during this dark period"

Unrest in Kordusia!

Kordusia, Dorvik's capital region, has seen unrest and protests in Haldor, Hauzenwald and other major cities. These riots are very anti-capitalist and fight against the recent election of the TGP, while many of the main dissidents claim themselves as anarchist or socialists.

Selina Wild, 17 year old student in Haldor, says:
The TGP can only claim themselves victorious in the South. Their populism might have convinced them, but it didn't convince us! They will attempt to take away the worker's rights and the people's liberties, offering order and security instead. But we won't fall for those tricks!

Although people believe these protests are the beginning of a new Generalstreik, Reinhardt Frei, Representative of the Workers Anarchist Federation, assures that these strikes have not been declared by the party and that the AAF will not endorse any violence committed by the rebels.

Most experts believe these riots will not be as radical and long as the Generalstreik was, and that Dorvik will become stable again in a month at most.

Rudolf Mitler returns to politics.

Pictured above: Rudolf Mitler marching with supporters of his party.

Rudolf Mitler, the ex-president of Dorvik and ex-leader of the National Bolshevik party, has decided to return to the political landscape of the country. After the failure and collapse that was the National Bolshevik party, a few followers of Rudolf contacted him after he left the presidency, they stated their intentions to form a new party in Dorvik, one which would be centered around defending democracy and the fight against the class struggle in modern times. This prompted Rudolf to come back to politics, being at the head of the Radikale Demokratische Partei(Radical Democratic Party). The party already gathered some supporters, along with that, a few businessmen have financed the propaganda of the party.

The party supports a mostly state controlled economy, but the the RDP doesn't shy away from supporting private national companies. The party also supports conservative points on view, along with that, they heavily oppose the communist ideal of class struggle, instead supporting cooperation between different classes in our society. The party also believes democracy is an integral part of the culture of the people of Dorvik, defending it is a priority in the party. It seems this party could work in a coalition with both left and right wing parties. The RDP is positive that the next elections will give the party many seats it deserves.

Brandebourg Announces: Dorvik To Build Radar Station In Northernmost Kordusia // DNS

Image
Above: Katrina Brandebourg

The Dorvish head of state has officially announced that the state of Dorvik will partake in the construction of several radar stations across the northern hemisphere as part of an initiative by the Northern Council. This initiative comes after concerns as to the lack of modern radar stations open for the Council to use. The equipment would increase the alliance's ability to properly conduct surveillance of the region in order to respond accordingly to economic, passenger, cargo and military movement in the aerospace around the northern hemisphere. The radar station will be able to detect all missiles, aircraft and other major aerial devices from hundreds of miles away, with modern equipment being used to protect Dorvik and her allies. This comes after rumours that Dorvik has been able to restore its nuclear programme under the new government, though these are unconfirmed.

Katrina Brandebourg, who was elected in 4393 with over 66% of the vote, made the statement that "the government of Dorvik will immediately begin construction on a fully modern and fully-equipped radar station that will be build on the northernmost part of the Kordusia, able to conduct surveillance across the entirety of our northern aerospace and beyond". Dorvik has long lacked northern radar stations, having been more focused on its southern border and imports and immigration from areas further to its south. Now, however, Dorvik is increasingly looking to step up its actions on the international stage in terms of protecting the northern ice-shelf and the surrounding area from damage both political and environmentally. Brandebourg also announced recently that Dorvik would be attempting to further cut carbon emissions by the end of her term in office to make the nation nearly carbon-neutral by the end of the century.

In further news involving the Northern Council, the state of Dorvik will be considering the deployment of naval forces central Dovani in order to crack down on local piracy, according to the President. Within the next few months, Dorvik will decide on whether to send a 'serious' military initiative to the region, which the President called 'extremely likely'. The Dorvish navy could potentially send a large contingent of fleet ships, which could include one of the nation's smaller aircraft carriers and several other vessels. The President stated that "there is no clearer and more present danger to the situation in the region than the rampant piracy and crime we are seeing. There can be nothing better done than the taking of severe measures to defeat the pirates and criminals, to bring them to justice and to restore a safe system to the region for the sake of it's inhabitants".

RDP celebrates election results
Image
Pictured above: Rudolf Mitler addressing the crowd during one of his speeches
The Radikale Demokratische Partei and Rudolf Mitler himself have been celebrating their success in the previous election. A crowd of RDP militants formed outside the parlament, where Rudolf addressed the supporters of his party, promising to end foreign influence in the nation, stop any separatists movement and the reduction bureaucratic inefficiency in the government.

The RDP has managed to establish itself as part the governing parties in the nation, forming a coalition with the Communist and Anarchist party. The Radical Democratic party has already proposed multiple bills in the parlament, with the hopes that this government will allow the RDP to implement many of its ideals.

The RDP has gathered a lot of support from old people, those who believe that culture and religion should be a priority for the country, there's also a younger but more vocal group of people that support the Radical Party, those who are discontent with liberal capitalism, seeing the statist approach that the RDP has to economy as a solution to this problem.

It is unknown how stable will be the new government , however, the Rudolf Mitler and RDP have been working tirelessly to make the ideal of a functional government a reality.

A Victory For The South?

In a surprise turn of events, The Sudik Independence Front stormed the Peoples Parliment taking the most seats of any party. With the rise in Fascism and Communism, it seems that the party that disbanded after it accomplished its goal for more states rights and the removal of Dorvish troops from the south has re-emerged in politics.

Above is a photo taken in Oppenbruck on the night of the election

Due to the party having no candidate for president and being made up primarily of independent members of parliament we were able to get an interview with Kunz Höhmann.

The party had to be revived because we as a people are tired of the oppressive northerners shifting from one extreme to the other punishing our people and rewarding us with no say in this sham of a democracy. We are going to take a stand for our fellow people and hopefully, one day see an independent Sudik.
