LOT Group's International Dorvish Airlines banned from Dorvik

Haldor, Kordusia - Dorvish Trade Commissioner Adolphus Karl von Heusmann announced today that in accordance with the Ministry of Trade and Industry and the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport that they were revoking the rights for the International Dorvish Airlines to operate within Dorvik. The decision comes as tensions between Dorvish Airways and its "claimed" owner of the LOT Group have ignited in a seemingly nonsensical way. The decision to revoke the ability for International Dorvish Airlines to operate within Dorvik effectively ground their fleet, prohibits them from operating within Dorvik and the State Aviation Office announced that they had revoked all charters provided within Dorvik for operations. The decision was approved by the State Chancellor and goes into effect immediately. A representative from the State Aviation Office's Main Office of the General-Director noted that the IDA would have 72 hours to remove all aircraft and personnel from Dorvish airspace, soil and cease and desist or else their equipment will be seized and their personnel deported if foreigners. According to General-Director of the State Aviation Office Katrin Drachmann, the national aviation authority in Dorvik, she stated that the decision was reached due to the increasingly radical and threatening behavior of a company that only registered recently and has, according to the SAO not really operated or been seen. The General-Director likened the appearance of the company as a likely front for Valruzia's criminal and corrupt government which has in the past claimed massive corporations but never presented proof. Drachmann quipped that its the likely reason that the Valruzian economy was failing due to the corruption and "ghost companies".

Dorvish delegation to visit new government in Turtle Bay

Turtle Bay, Maddog, Keymon - Oskar von Wädenssteig-Schwarzburg-Stralbrück, the Minister of Trade and Industry lead a delegation to Turtle Bay to meet with the new government of President Gaudino Catena VIII to discuss the development of trade relations an Dorvish investment into the country. A notable inclusion was Dr. Magnus Bäumler, the Minister of the Environment and Tourism, who was seen on the plane heading to Turtle Bay. The decision to include the Minister of the Environment and Tourism was announced to bolster the tourism industry in Keymon, something that Dorvish businesses have been pushing for over the past several years, notably the Dorvish hospitality industry which makes up roughly 2/3 of the delegation to Turtle Bay. It is likely that prominent Dorvish hotels such as Gansz Hospitality AG, owned by prominent and vocal supporters of the Dorvish government, Elke Gansz and Zoe Baar (nee Gansz) who operate nearly 170 major hotels world wide will begin investments into Keymon and expanding on hotels owned and operated by the Gansz already. Reports have surfaced that the initial investment into Keymon from Dorvish companies will total nearly $1b LOD with more touted by business leaders.

Stock markets in Haldor rallied on the news of a resurgent Dorvish government underneath State Chancellor Jörn von Motha-Geyr but the economy in Dorvik is still considered "slow" by most standards, a trend that Dorvish economist say has been shown throughout the world. Haldor, Kordusia - The Dorvish Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport announced earlier this week that all electronic roadsigns, traffic lights and other electronic fixtures associated with traffic control and information had been fully upgraded to renewable energy. In a press conference headed by the State Secretary of Infrastructure and Transport, Dr. Ann-Katrin Bartram, the decision had been part of the program developed by the Social Nationalist Party during their October 4740 election run. The decision to overhaul the signs and electronics was done via two contracts estimated to be around $10m which was won by several Dorvish companies and three foreign companies, a company from Kalistan, one from Lourenne and another from Malivia. The decision is estimated to save the Dorvish taxpayers an estimated $5m a year in electric costs by the Dorvish provincial and local governments. The Dorvish government has used this move as a means to continue to champion its near total shift towards renewable energy, notably nuclear power which now powers some 40% of the entire Dorvish energy grid. The Social Nationalist have continued to make renewable energy a high priority, notably nuclear energy which the Dorvish have championed across the world.

Dorvish government's focus is on both international and regional levels

Haldor, Kordusia - State Chancellor Jörn von Motha-Geyr alongside His Majestic Highness, the King and Kaiser Lothar II were in the Yingdalan capital of Tian'an for the coronation of His Majesty the Son of Heaven. Following the coronation, the State Chancellor and His Majestic Highness Lothar II conducted a high level state visit to the newly resurgent Yingdalan nation. Dorvik and Yingdala have had a storied past, at one point coming to a Dorvish invasion of the mainland which still rings out as a hallowed victory for once close allies. Every year the Dorvish and Yingdalan delegations would meet and discuss the conflict and share somber memorials for those who lost their lives in what both countries have often called a "mistaken" conflict. The Dorvish however came out on top of the war and helped rebuild the Yingdalan nation following their defeat, it helped mend the feelings towards each other. This meeting however was focused on the boosting of trade relations between the two countries, especially in the area of financial and scientific services. While the trade relations will be a boon for both the Dorvish and Yingdalan economies the masterstroke came when both His Majestic Highness and the State Chancellor announced a massive multi-billion dollar investment into Yingdalan infrastructure. The finer details of the plan will be announced later but several prominent Dorvish construction and construction management corporations will be responsible for building nearly 25% of the new infrastructure in Yingdala, mostly related to railroads and roadways, this includes a wide number of new local and national level train and railway stations as well as the development of several new regional and national roadways. The Dorvish also obtained contracts to assist the Yingdalan's with the redevelopment of their already existing infrastructure. The deal will see millions of Yindalan's put to work and the Yingdalan government entering into a cooperative education and technical agreement with the Dorvish to send Yingdalan engineers to Dorvish schools to learn and better understand what the Dorvish call "hard" infrastructure.

The projects are likely to take five to ten years to accomplish and will put millions of both Dorvish and Yingdalan's to work, it will also provide a massive boost to both economies. The Dorvish have already announced the expansion of their embassy in Tian'an as well as the sending several members of the Foreign Economic Council as permanent attaches to the country to ensure work is continued and is timely. A notable inclusion was a provision in which nuclear engineers from the Natural Resources Technical Management Corporation, the public-private venture primarily owned by the Dorvish government, to meet with Yingdalan engineers to discuss the future of nuclear energy and power within the country. While this expected to take several years before the Yingdalan's can consider the reemergence of nuclear energy to be profitable, it is nevertheless a notable feat for the Yingdalan government. The leading officer of the detachment, a Dorvish Navy Vice Admiral, noted to Gath Defense Collective that the rise of the "Yingdalan Dragon" was a great feat and very probable over the next several years but it required hard work and cooperation between the Dorvish and Yingdalan governments and defense apparatus'. His Majestic Highness Lothar II noted that elements of the Dorvish Armed Forces would rotate to train with the Yingdalan Armed Forces over the next several years and would be the cornerstone of a new budding relationship with the Yingdalan government.

While the Dorvish delegation was busy preparing for the massive influx of Yingdalan investment and the Dorvish investment into Yingdala, the Dorvish Foreign Minister Torsten von und zu Kiesling was in Kirlawa conducting high level talks with the Kirlawan government and Prime Minister Leo Kearns. The former Secretary-General of the Artanian League and now Foreign Minister discussed a number of trade-related questions, notably the reduction of overland tariffs between the Dorvish and Kirlawan borders as well as reintroducing Kirlawan leadership into the Artanian League, the still nascent successor to the Artanian Union. Kiesling stated that the Dorvish healthcare sector was very interested in cooperation with the Kirlawan government and their private sector, notable inclusions include the Minister of Health and Social Services Dr. Karina Schlag who announced that the Dorvish and Kirlawan's were working towards joint research and development projects within the scope and scale of the healthcare sector. Leading representatives from Ebner Health AG were also present and displayed several state of the art medical technologies that were already in use in Dorvik and other countries throughout the world, promising the Kirlawan private sector and government could cooperate to introduce these technologies to Kirlawan hospitals and nursing homes. It is likely that the Dorvish direct investment into Kirlawa will increase as several Dorvish corporations noted that they would be increasing their shares within the growing Kirlawan economy, notably in the Dorvish-majority area known as Uwakah, a once independent state during the Kirlawan Civil War and home to the largest Dorvish minority population in Kirlawa.

While perhaps not as blockbuster as the Kirlawan and Yingdalan visits, the Dorvish trade delegation in Dolgavia announced a massive aid package totaling several billion LOD over the course of ten years to invest in strategic needs of the Dolgavian government. This includes a multi-million dollar deal between the Artanian Defense Group's Civil Division and the fledgling airline industry in Dolgavia, the potential for ADG and other Dorvish defense industries to work with the Ministry of Defense and offer millions of dollars worth of military material and equipment as well as working to continue to develop Dolgavia as the epicenter for trade between the colloquial "West" and "East".

Haldor, Kordusia - The Dorvish Foreign Ministry issued a "Red List" for the nation of Endralon following the diplomatic message that welcomed a Dorvish delegation to celebrate the death of King Ottokar XII, the former reigning monarch of Endralon. The diplomatic message sent to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was meant as an invitation to celebrate the death, not the life of the King. Minister of Foreign Affairs Torsten von und zu Kiesling spoke at a press conference stating that he was appalled by the message and he believes that the world is once again seeing the rise of radical, militant republicanism that once plagued the world centuries ago. The Kingdom naturally rejected the invitation and stated that they were considering a "myriad" of options to handle the situation, they have offered asylum to the former ruling family and nobility of Endralon during this incredibly violent and unstable time within Endralon. Dorvik is no stranger to offering refugee status to fleeing nobles and royal families, it has been a bastion of protection for many nobles and royals around the world when Kingdoms which were long-standing and prestigious seemingly crumble over night with little to no "backstory" about how they managed to unseat a well entrenched government. While the royal family and nobles in Endralon may not take up that offer, the Dorvish Foreign Ministry is likely to press Endralon for its behavior. In a diplomatic communication sent from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, directly from the Foreign Minister, it was quipped that the Endralonian government were acting like "Canrillaise wannabes".

Aside from this the Foreign Minister announced a joint venture with the national flag carrier, Dorvish Airways and Air Hutori, the national flag carrier of Hutori. Air Hutori International will make up a large component of the already busy northern hemisphere's airlines system that has been "allegedly" dominated by Valruzian-based LOT Group which many state is incorrect. Despite the notable absence of Hutori, the northern hemisphere dominant airlines have largely been from Artanian countries or the western Dovani countries, notably Lourenne and Kazulia. Dorvik maintains the largest market share of Artanian-based flights, both regionally and internationally with nearly 20% of all flights in and out of Artania coming from Dorvish-based airlines. The joint venture by Air Hutori is likely to see the northern hemisphere become dominated (in terms of airlines) by the "Quadrumvirate" which is the largest economies in the world, Dorvik, Kazulia, Lourenne and Hutori. The first Air Hutori International flights will start arriving in Rohr-Mauss International Airport within the several weeks as RMIA looks to expand the brand new, state of the art Air Hutori International terminal that was jointly announced.

Dorvish Chef wins "Top Cook"

Schwarzenbüren, Largonia - Famed Dorvish chef and "foodie" Jörg Stettin won the Terran-wide food competition known as "Top Cook" (Dundorfian: Spitzenkoch) at its televised finale in the Largonian provincial capital of Schwarzenbüren. The final three contestants included notable Hobraian Chef Alexei Gamkrelidze and Augustan "Iron Chef" Rustikana Volusianido. The final round of the competition had them cook the traditional Dorvish fish soup, made from fish freshly fished from Kordusian Bay only hours before the televised season finale kicked off. It is the first time that a Dorvish chef has won the competition which has now concluded its second season; the first season was won by a veteran chef from Kimlien who won with a freshly baked Canrillaise baguette combined with a traditional Kalopian pita bread and hummus spread. The show has brought together people from across Terra to celebrate food of different cultures, Chefs are given basic lessons in traditional cooking of the challenge that day and Chefs are generally not asked to cook food from their own respective cultural group with the exception of the challenge round which is randomly selected. The show has had hit ratings across the globe and some country's have started country-specific spin offs to display their culture, Dorvik started a similar show known as "Season of the Cooks" (Dundorfian: Jahreszeit der Köche) which at the end of the season crowns a "Cook of the Season" who is awarded a monetary prize as well as the associated fame with being the top cook within Dorvik. The show has had similar success across the globe and has largely been looked at as one of the hit shows of the past two years.

Haldor, Greater Kordusia - The government of State Chancellor Jörn von Motha-Geyr has served for nearly 30 years, he was announced as the leader of the Social Nationalist in the early days of July 4713 and took office shortly after that as the State Chancellor, succeeding Karlis Gottlob von Lÿndow-Sennhein. Generally the succession for the leadership of the mantle of State Chancellor has been an integral event to the changing of the guard in Dorvik as well as new policies, roles and procedures governing the Dorvish Kingdom. Some sources have cited the newer, more politically active King and Kaiser, His Majestic Highness Lothar II as the driving force behind Jörn von Motha-Geyr's rumored departure but both the King and Kaiser's Court as well as the Main Office of the State Chancellor have denied such rumors as just that, rumors. The discussion on the future of the leadership of both the Social Nationalist and the Kingdom cannot be ignored; there are several prominent officials who could be slated to take over the State Chancellery in Haldor.

The first is the current Foreign Minister, Torsten von und zu Kiesling who has served as the Secretary-General of the Artanian League, something he drove and helped found and currently serves as the Foreign Minister and has lead a drive across the world to ensure that Dorvish economics and values are spread far and wide. Kiesling has rebuilt ties with several countries and has expanded the Dorvish international affairs portfolio greatly, the Dorvish are now involved across the world largely thanks to men such as Kiesling and those he appointed at the Foreign Ministry. Kiesling is 59 and a member of the Liberal Conservative wing of the SNP. Adolphus Karl von Heusmann, the current Trade Commissioner has been touted as a possible successor, being younger at the age of 47 and a veteran economist with the SNP for several years. The Dorvish Trade Commissioner has held the post for nearly 30 years and remains an integral component of Dorvish trade and trade policy. Heusmann was instrumental in the development of the current trade policy, commonly called the "Heusmann Doctrine" when it comes to Dorvish trade and foreign economic policies. The third candidate that has turned heads within the Social Nationalist Party is the current Minister of Justice, Daniela von Götz. The 51 year old female has made waves within the Social Nationalist and has become a political goldmine after her successful tour as the Minister of Justice; joining the ranks of many hallowed Dorvish politicians. If she wins the election as the head of the Social Nationalist Party she will be the first woman to hold the post and can have a transformative impact on the Dorvish political scene as a whole.

Others have been questioned and asked, such as the political dynasty of the Rohr-Mauss' who have largely remained behind the scenes and not actively held high political office in sometime and they have ruled out such a return in the near future but not entirely.
