FDP Releases Election Manifesto,Endorses NPB For Presidency

The Free Democrats Released Their Manifesto for the 4282 Election which Focused Primarily On Welfare and Pension Reform,It calls for reducing benefits to the Unemployed and Poor and states that Charities and other private organizations should be encouraged to provide assistance to the poor rather than the government.It also calls for reducing subsidies to farmers and has stated its intention to reduce the Minimum Income,It also states its plan to reduce the Number of Personal Income Tax Brackets from 8 to 3,With Tax Ceilings of 20000,50000 and 80000 DDO.It also outlines the parties plan to Reduce the Corporate Tax and Essential Goods Tax to 15 and 2% Respectively,The Party states that these tax cuts can be attained by cutting Spending to ''Non Priority Sectors"Such as Agriculture and Environment,It also States its commitment to maintain defence spending and The Manifesto Surprisingly rules any cuts to,or Privatisation of Public Hospitals and Educational Institutions and rather calls for providing families with the choice of accessing Public or Private Services.It is also is in favour of creating entrepreneurship programmes.

The Platform also states its support of Abortion Rights,LGBT Rights and rules out favouring any reduction in The Annual Quota for Legal Migrants and states that Dorvik should try to attract more skilled workers to fill up Labour Shortage and attract the ''best and brightest''students from around the world to study in the nation.The Manifesto also favours reducing environmental regulations so as to Make Dorvik More Attractive for Businesses.It also supports removing restrictions on Foreign Direct Investment and reducing regulations on businesses.

It has been rated as a Generally Moderate Platform by political observers contrary to expectations of a Very Libertarian Platform.

Adler Drumpf on FDP

Adler Drumpf, the right-wing leader of the Republikanische Partei, has spoken out against the FDP agenda. He said:

I was reading it, thinking, wow! This party is normally so dumb and now so smart. Then I saw it. LGBT rights? Controversial, but not too bad.. Abortion rights? Baby killing, but we’re outnumbered on that issue anyway... and then the support for immigration, sacrificing Dorvish jobs. How wrong! How anti-Dorvish! I was disgusted. Totally disgusted. These three things together were an absolute disappointment for me after an otherwise reasonable agenda. Then their presidential support... Well, I can’t repeat what I said to Wolfhard, my Deputy Leader!

The leader also announced they will run a Presidential candidate, supporting the AfD as their second choice.

Richter: AfD and RP Causing Chaos And Fractured Right

The co-leader of the NPB, Catharina Richter, has accused the other, smaller, right-wing parties of 'causing chaos' after the AfD and RP chose to run their own candidates win the presidential elections. In a scathing attack, she said 'these far-right lunatics will hand the presidency and the assembly to the AP' and asserting that 'the AP will hold the presidency lest we unite around a single conservative candidate'. When asked why she though the smaller right wing parties were running their own candidates, she responded simply: 'pure vanity'.

The NPB will choose their own nominee in early 4282, with a system of primaries. The front-runner is party co-leader, Alfons Rottmann, though Louise Conzelmann - former Infrastructure and Transport Minister - is picking up steam amongst the more radical elements of the party. The NPB must now fight a battle to keep their giant ship afloat while half a dozen icebergs attack from every angle, deciding whether stealing voters from the centre and hoping to build a conservative majority or fighting off the emergent far-right is better.

Thinking they are the biggest fish in the sea. They are not.

Just like the RP and AFD we will field our own candidate in upcoming elections. Party's should have the right to field theyre own candidates and this makes the choice for the people even greater. Why should everyone support the NPB candidate? Its madness and the NPB lives in an illusion of them being the greatest party in the arena. We agree with the RP and AFD and will not support a NPB candidate.

FDP Members Elect Former Professor Salima Braun As Deputy Leader

FDP Members From Around Dorvik Gathered Today in Oppenbruck to elect the First Deputy Leader of the Party,It was a Direct Faceoff Between Ben Neumann,The Party Candidate for the Ministry of Environment who has been associated with the parties move to the right on Environmental issues and Salima Braun who was a Professor in The History Department of the State University of Kordusia who is also the Parties List Nominee from Kordusia.She has been identified as a Moderate within the party striking a tone to the Left Of the Party Establishment on Certain Issues, Particularly with Regards to Tuition Fees and Social Security.She was Born to Majatran Immigrants in Dorvik and is tipped to be appointed to a Major Cabinet Position if the FDP wins enough seats as to take part in a Coalition Government

Her Election means that she is the First Ahmadi in many years to Become Deputy Leader of a party.While Speaking to Reporters about her Election, Party Leader Mr.Weber praised Mrs.Braun as being"The Perfect Choice for the Deputy Leadership"and stated that "she will make a fine leader some day".

Drumpf Fires Back at NPB, Rumoured To Hate Ahmadis

RP leader Adler Drumpf has responded to the NPB, saying:

They think the right needs to unify. Yeah. The RIGHT. Not the phony centrist NPB right, the fake news, NPB. The real right. We expect a good rise in seats. One of the smaller parties has a real chance of defeating the NPB, next few elections I guarantee. Victory!

Meanwhile, rumours suggest his otherwise diplomatic acceptance of an Ahmadi Presidential candidate is all a front: an unnamed source told the DNS:

He thinks it’s disgusting, he doesn’t trust them. He says they’re all working with foreign governments. He won’t say it outright, of course. There’s a lot he doesn’t say. Wolhard, the Deputy Leader, he’s the brains: he keeps him calm. It’s unsettling.

Schönfeld rebukes Richter comments

Newly elected presidential nominee, Alice Schönfeld has attacked Catharina Richter, co-leader of the NPB, after her comments on a "chaotic right." In her speech at a news conference she made aware her opposition to the "lack-luster" NPB and lack of leadership within the opposition.

If the right is divided, if the right is chaotic, if the right is fractured, it is not the fault of the AfD, no, but that of the NPB that Mrs Catharina Richter so shamefully serves. We are a democratic party of consensus and compromise, and so we will not refuse the right for voters to elect an AfD president."

Woman Claims To Be Prophet In Rural Largonia

A woman in rural Largonia has claimed to be the sister of Eliyahu. She claims her death will signify the half-way-mark between Eliyahu's disappearance and his reappearance. Widely disavowed by Hosian leaders, she had a following of around 300 people she calls the 'Children of the Spirit'. These followers, a collection of about 10 large families in her local village of Geisthemmer, has overrun the local village and has formed a spiritual council, declared 'Indra' the mayor and built a small church for her to preach in alongside her husband.

'Indra' has declared her next mission in to convert the nearby village of Esten, which has a population of 450 people. While the cult may only be small, it is growing at a worrying pace. 30 people per day from outside Geisthemmer visit the church and while many simply go out of interest, the total number of people Indra claims are interested in the religion but have not formally joined is 'in excess of 8,000'. Local NPB representative Lisa Rottkurt called the cult 'an unimportant fad which will die out within the year'.

The DRF leadership called upon 400 supporters to stage a protest against the inactivity of the socialist/progressive government today

The nation is in a period of stagnation and government inactivity! When will we see government plans to deal with unemployment? When will we see government plans to increase the growth and spend the surplus efficiently? We need an active government that keeps us up to date on events and actually achieves great things on both foreign and domestic policy!

The protest seems to be attracting not only republican supporters but people from all over the political spectrum. Reports estimate that around 40 more people join the protest every hour and more are expected to join. DRF leader Eckhard Schulhof has called for a sit in to continue for days but it is reported that some protesters are expected to leave by the night. We will keep you up to date on the response of the government and how long the protest will last.
