New catch-all radical right party formed, many find it distasteful
June, 4803
Königheim, Miktar - After a small Lorman Aretist group decided to form a local political party years ago, they didn't get much support. But after the Social Nationalist Party's rebranding to the Free Conservatives and their decision to open the local party to members of other ideologies, they began to gain traction within the region. Now, they have declared their intention to run in the national elections for the State Council, against the Free Conservative Party and the Democratic People's Union. The Midnight Conclave, or Pussinakts Kōnklawi, is a unique and diverse group of radical right elements, which has drawn scorn from many.
Organized into 5 factions, called wings (or skreīljai in Lorman), the party emphasizes cooperation and collaboration with their ideas and ideologies. The collegial nature of the party is rare when there are so many radical and unique thoughts, but somehow they bridge the gaps and make it work. Leading the party is the High Council, the Chairs of the 5 wings. They are each powerful within their factions (differing, of course, based on their ideologies), but are equal on the council. Each has a distinct title granted by their wing, and in the thought of consensus democracy and sociocracy, they must make their council decisions unanimous. The wings, their ideologies, and their leaders are listed below:
— Dēiwibi Aretistiskai (Deity Aretists), the Aretists of the party. Seek for an Aretist state, while expanding Dorvish imperial influence across Terra. Led by their Acolya Prima (First Acolyte) Cele Kass, a 37 year old former artist-turned-Aretist. She presides over the ruling Aretic Conclave of the Acolytes of the group. Decisively anti-monarchy and anti-nobility.
— Kliptinnis Fašistiskai (Esoteric/Cryptic Fascists), the supernatural and spiritual Dorvish supremacists (in particular the Lormans). Desiring a religio-political state that emphasizes their beliefs, while spreading their spiritual superiority across the world. Led by the "Perstalīsnā" (Guidance/Leadership) Labrenz Exkorn, 42, who grew up in a Northern Alorian monastery and learned to twist the Hosian faith towards his Dorvish ethnicity. He as well as his circle of lieutenants are the unquestioned leadership of the wing. Anti-monarchy, wishing for something more mystic and political, and anti-old order nobility, instead wanting to replace them with his own people to rule.
— Zmānis (Glory), the imperialists too radical for the Free Conservative Party. So instead they joined the burgeoning Midnight Conclave, and stand for a Dorvish world-state, using Lorman as the One True language. Seek to bring the Dorvish Emperor to the throne of Terra. Led by their Šlūzeniks Kēizerjai (Servant of Emperors) Sellius von Färber, 65, family to the Margraves of Ostmark. Heavily pro-monarchy and pro-nobility.
— Tikrōms Klassis (Rightful/Just Classes), the nobility that want more power. In addition, they'd like to spread their power across all Dundorfian-speaking nations, to create a unified confederation of aristocratic holdings, led by a mostly powerless emperor. Led by the Tikrōms Wītingis (Rightful/Just Noble) Endris von Aeschelman, a 45 year old nephew to nobility himself. Pro-weakened monarchy, greatly pro-strengthened nobility.
— Amzjan von Āudeglis (Nation of Firebrands), the young, ambitious, and fervent. Believing in the absolute supremacy of the Dorvish state and system (but also the need for a new generation of younger people to rule) and the need for a unified and politically homogeneous nation, including within the military and civil service. They desire an absolutely political united state, able to expand the nation into the rest of Artania and Terra, as is Dorvik's rightful claim. Led by the Āudegli Prēikeni (Firebrand Princess) Azura Katryne zu Mohr, a Countess of Nereustein, a 17 year old political firebrand (hence the name) and youth military club officer who is non-stop in her activism for a Greater Dorvik.
Reactions to the Midnight Conclave have been mixed to say the least—many see them as too radical, or just much too far right for the general population. As of yet there has not been an official or unofficial statement from the ruling party on the Conclave's formation, although there is potential for one to be given. There is no doubt the Democratic People's Union will be sternly against the Conclave, and the reaction from the people has yet to be seen, although they had minor successes as a small, regional party in mayoral elections and the like.
