FDO announces new naval base in Keymon

Keymon - Supreme General Staff Foreign Defense Office officials announced earlier in the day that establishment of a brand new naval base in Keymon on the southern coast of the island. Keymon, recently coming off a civil war is a prime area for Dorvish investment, the first major Dorvish investment into Keymon occurred in 4750, shortly before the outbreak of the civil war. Now that the civil war has begun to subside, the Dorvish have sparked a new series of investments into the country. State Chancellor Volker von Pölzl welcomed the Skalm Agreement and welcomed peace in the country, alongside the announcement of naval base the State Chancellor pledged a "...ferocious rebuilding effort, a further investment into Keymon and the resumption of the original FEC investment into the country." The State Chancellor noted that it was likely he was going to visit the country prior to the completion of the naval base but nothing official has been confirmed. The naval base, known officially as the "Großadmiral Ludwig Matern Naval Installation" but more commonly as the "Matern Naval Installation" will be on the southern coast of Keymon and will capable of supporting Dorvish the twin Kaiser-class aircraft carriers that the Dorvish Navy possesses, it will also provide a significant airbase in the country to further NORDIC patrols and increase patrols in the Artanian Sea. Officials were confident that the project will take 2 to 3 years and will build on an existing naval base that has been abandoned by the Keymonese Navy.

FDO officials also noted that the naval installation will be the site of joint training center that is multi-purpose in mission, it will facilitate training in a number of fields, including the establishment of a military police (Feldjager) training base to assist in civil order operations in Keymon should the need arise. Dorvish officials are eager to re-open their second naval installation abroad, the first being located on the island of Kamphon in the Sea of Carina, a number of other Dorvish installations have closed as per mutual agreement with parties across the world. The Dorvish have also announced plans to expand a small port operated by the Dolgavian Navy to house the "Konteradmiral Thaddäus Rosenhain Naval Installation", more commonly called the "Rosenhain Naval Installation", this will bring the total number of Dorvish bases abroad to 3 and will provide Dorvik with impressive coverage across the world. Officially the Dorvish conduct semi-permanent rotations with these naval installations, meaning none of them have permanently assigned units. This provides the Dorvish the unique opportunity of shifting personnel across the globe to train, exercise and gain knowledge about various allies and potential foes.

Trade and Industry minister leads charge in Rutanian trade surge

Haldor, Kordusia - Antonin zu Mohr, the Dorvish Trade and Industry Minister was accompanied by a bevy of officials to meet with Rutanian Trade and Industry Secretary Percival Musgrave in a historic meeting for both the Dorvish and Rutanian governments, the decision to meet comes at a time when the once descending Dorvish star is suddenly on a meteoric rise. The Dorvish are continuing to build an economy diversified across several dozen countries, while some countries pour money into building a defense economy, the Dorvish are building budding relations across Terra. Sources within the trade delegation say that an increase in trade with Rutania could warrant multi-billion dollar growth within each of the respective economies, naturally the Dorvish are welcome to increasing continental trade and continue to look to expand their economic contacts on Artania. The Dorvish economy, which relies on its heavy industry, its notable timber and lumber industry, financial and banking services and its defense industry, and its cold-weather crop industry have taken many markets by storm and Rutania is no different, as an economy that struggles, the presence of the Dorvish market will easily provide the Rutanian markets with new sources for trade. Rutanian and Dorvish trade has struggled in the past several decades, largely due to problems domestically for Rutania in which shifting government priorities never prompted much in the way of growth according to Dorvish economist, but this sudden change and shift can be monumental for the Dorvish-Rutanian trade relations.

As Dorvik seeks to increase its oil and gas production at home underneath the Minister of Trade and Industry, the increased oil and gas trade across the continent can reduce foreign independence from both Vascania and Kafuristan, two notable oil and gas producers. The Dorvish have offered their hand in reducing both gas prices and home heating oil and gas to Rutania; this ties directly in the hope that the Dorvish can establish a Dorvish-owned and operated oil and gas terminal to continue to supply Rutania and others in the area with cheap, affordable oil and gas. While this just one leg of the Dorvish trade delegation's mission in Rutania, it can provide a significant boost to the local economy in Rutania. The Dorvish will likely seek to bring a strong financial sector to Rutania, many Dorvish banks have operated in the region and will continue to expand operations. If the Rutanian-Dorvish trade delegation continues, it is likely that the Dorvish government will offer a direct surge in investment to the Rutanian economy, a rumor surfaced that the Dorvish were looking for several billion from the Foreign Economic Fund to prompt invest across the Rutanian government and economy, something that the Rutanian government should be wise to look to gain.

Matern Naval Installation construction nearing completion

Keymon - The "Großadmiral Ludwig Matern Naval Installation" but more commonly as the "Matern Naval Installation" is nearing completion according to the Dorvish Navy and the Supreme General Staff's Foreign Defense Office. The site of the base, a smaller Keymonese Navy naval base, has expanded tremendously over the past several months and according to reports is capable of supporting the Dorvish nuclear powered Kaiser-class aircraft carriers, support and ancillary operations and buildings are now being constructed at the base. According to the Dorvish Navy it has begun a permanent rotation of units at the installation and has begun working on training and developing the Keymonese Armed Forces, a large part of its mission. The Matern Naval Installation has prompted the Dorvish Navy to consider expanding the Dorvish Naval Infantry, a move that is likely to prompt a further expansion to send another group of naval infantry to Dolgavia, where another base is near completion as well. The Matern Naval Installation will give Dorvik expanded access to both Seleya and Majatra, providing them significant access to the two continents to continue to develop regional ties with the nations, continue to monitor piracy, conduct NORDIC patrols in related areas and monitor rogue actors and potential rogue states. According the bases commander the Dorvish Navy will begin to conduct regular training and exercises with the Keymonese Armed Forces over the next several years and will provide a calendar of nearly 10 annual and semi-annual exercises.

As the Dorvish presence in Keymon increases, the Foreign Economic Council noted a surge in Dorvish investment into the nation, over the past several years the Dorvish-Keymon trade has increased several hundred million dollars and has focused tremendously on the rebuilding efforts. The creation of the Dorvish base has also exploded local job growth and the military police (Feldjager) training base to assist in civil order operations in Keymon has brought a large number of Keymonese law enforcement officials to the area, local businesses according to Keymon are booming and the local housing market has expanded. Dorvish corporations, notably Dorvish banks have found a significant source of "micro-loans" as housing in the area continues to expand and improve, especially with Dorvish officers and civilian contractors looking to buy additional homes in the warmer climate.

State Chancellor condemns embassy attack

Haldor, Greater Kordusia - State Chancellor Volker von Pölzl gave a State Chancellery address to the nation in the wake of the unprovoked attack by "Draddwyr nationalist" on the Dorvish embassy on Port Freiheit. The State Chancellor condemned attacks on embassies, noting that they were sovereign territory. The State Chancellor noted that he had confidence in the Alorian government to continue to protect ALL national embassies, not just the Dorvish embassy and urged the government in Aloria to increase security near the Dorvish embassy as well as others in the area. The State Chancellor said that the Diplomatic Police of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, who are responsible for protection and security of Dorvish embassies as well as providing protection for members of the Dorvish Foreign Corp, had been increased and the Dorvish dispatched members of the Dorvish military police, the Feldjaeger to provide assistance. When asked about the presence of Dorvish military personnel at embassies, the State Chancellor noted that the Diplomatic Police are provided advanced training and significant further training than other members of the Dorvish Police, they undergo a rigorous selection process and generally considered to be some of the best bodyguards and infrastructure security in the world. The Leadership Escort Command, the multi-agency organization responsible for all high-level protection of Dorvish officials, also noted that they were dispatching additional resources. It is likely that the State Security Service and the Foreign Intelligence Service will increase presence in Aloria in the wake of the attack.

According to Dorvish Border Police several dozen Draddwyr nationalist have been arrested, one of them suspected of being involved near the Alorian border carrying out "surveillance" on the Grenzmark border crossing, Aloria and Dorvik's premier border crossing which is responsible for millions in trade every year. The State Chancellor provided a stark warning for the Alorians, notably those Draddwyr nationalist who sought to undermine the unity of the Alorian government, he warned that the Dorvish would not stand idly by while Volksdundorfische were attacked nor would he allow Aloria to descend into chaos should this continue.

Dorvish Navy procures 15 new Type 212 submarines

Haldor, Greater Kordusia - The Dorvish Navy announced 15 new Type 212 "Fürstenscheid-class" u-boats would be added over the course of the next 10 years, according to the Dorvish Navy 5 have already neared completion since the discussion about their creation several years ago. The Type 212 as it formally known, is a Dorvish creation and is widely considered to be one of the worlds leading conventionally-powered submarines, a dangerous instrument of war that the Dundorfian Reich mastered during the Collapse of the Dundorfian Reich period in Artania. The Dorvish Navy possesses 15 Type 212 submarines currently, the total will bring them up to 30 with a potential for 15 more according to the construction contract with builder, Dorvische Werft. Type 212 submarines, while not comparable to the nuclear powered Trigunian-built but Dorvish maintained Medved-class nuclear attack submarine, known in Trigunian are the "Borei-class" and is a nuclear powered ballistic missile submarine, the Dorvish Navy possesses two of these and there location, base and men assigned are considered to be among the highest secrets within the Dorvish state.

The expansion of the Dorvish submarine fleet is not without merit, the last major expansion of the Dorvish submarine fleet was in 40th century when the Dorvish Navy added 10 Type 212 vessels to their roster, this massive expansion is likely to see further u-boat submarines deployed across the world. The Dorvish Navy has spent the better part of several decades building up a haughty logistical and supply network across the globe, while allies such as Lourenne and Kazulia curl back, the Dorvish have pressed forward and while the increased operations abroad will certainly tax the logistical and supply network of the Dorvish Navy, it has tried and true methods, the support of fellow global allies such as Hutori and most of all, it has decades of experience in managing global affairs. Dorvish naval officers assigned to the supply and logistical matters of the Dorvish Navy are considered to be among the finest in the world and the Dorvish Naval Academy regularly trains close allies in procedures similar to what it uses.

Dorvish economy sees signs of improved growth for the first time in several years

Haldor, Kordusia - Dorvish Trade Commissioner Franzek von Desidier confirmed that trade between Rutania and Dorvik has increased since the trade discussions took place in April, 4776. The Dorvish sought to increase a number of sectors, notably increasing energy sales to Rutania from Dorvik's own natural resources, notably Dorvish oil operations off the coast of northern Dorvik. As the Dorvish have sought to continue to diversify their economy, they have sought newer trading partners while still maintaining cordial relations with older ones such as Kazulia and Lourenne. Rutania, Aloria, Malivia and Endralon have become new homes to Dorvish markets and new markets for their respective countries. Dorvish companies have seen net increases across the board when it comes to sales, profits and the Dorvish economy has certainly been stimulated from these new markets. Ministry of Trade and Industry officials have noted that the Dorvish economy continues to "recover" from a slump since the economies of Kazulia and Lourenne, where Dorvish investment was at its highest, nearly collapsed. Desidier commented that the Dorvish had also noticed an uptick in economic cooperation following the arrival of several new nations to the Artanian League and hoped that the continued trade between member states would further drive the Dorvish economy forward. One of the key elements to the Dorvish government's recently platform was the rebuilding the economy after years of a "slump", it appears that this growth has once again taken off and Dorvish economy is can be noted as "rolling" again.

The improving sectors of the Dorvish economy include energy, notably the sale of low-cost Dorvish oil and home heating fuel; Dorvish consumer good such as vehicles from BMW and other Dorvish automobile manufacturers or increases from Bismarck AG, increases in technology-based equipment from Ebner AG, health care technologies from Ebner Health AG. The Dorvish have also approved a number of small arms sales across the world, giving the domestic economy a boost through weapons programs and weapons development.

Dorvish Armed Forces complete actions in Davostani War

Northern Davostan - Dorvish first dispatched forces from the Lievenian Sea Fleet in July, 4772 to the northern coasts of Davostan to assist in operations against the radical Davostani government. The first forces to arrive were the elite Dorvish Fallschirmjäger, the airborne troops of the Dorvish Air Force. Over the course of the next several months the Dorvish Armed Forces dispatched the entire force of Dorvish Fallschirmjäger, over 50,000 Dorvish soldiers arrived over the course of active combat operations and rotated across the campaign. The Dorvish, in official concert with the Telamonese and Hutorian Armed Forces operated almost exclusively in the northern portions of Davostan and only now confirmation comes that the elite Dorvish Jäger were involved in the operation, notably the famed 3. Jagdverband, which has been alleged to be used as the "primary" formation of the Dorvish Special Forces. Information regarding the Fallschirmjäger is generally been released by the Supreme General Staff and the Ministry of Defense but information regarding the Jäger is highly classified and regarded as a state secret. The Dorvish forces were lead by General (Fallschirmjager) Dominic Weide on the ground and the overall mission commander was Admiral Carsten Schönbeck, the commanding officer of the Lievenian Sea Fleet. Admiral Schönbeck will be assigned as the Military Commander in Davostan to assist the Hutorian liberation forces in protecting the nation, the bulk of the Lievenian Sea Fleet will remain to assist in state-building operations to protect citizens from all countries.

Dorvish forces in the war took a total of 230 casualties, with 21 killed in action and remaindering being wounded in action and 2 missing in action. The spearhead of the Dorvish forces remained the 17. Dovmark, Sonderhaven and northern Kovmark were all primary targets for the Dorvish forces and Dovmark, the closest to mainland Dorvik bore the brunt of Dorvish forces and Dorvish aerial attacks. In somewhat typical Dorvish fashion, the Dorvish Air Force and Dorvish Navy cooperated to rotate units aboard the DNS Heike Grossberg to not just include naval aviation forces, but regular Dorvish Air Forces. This action, which is considered unusual for even the Dorvish, was meant to gain combat experience for hundreds of Dorvish pilots and Dorvish airmen.

The Lievenian Sea Fleet combined with other elements of the Dorvish Navy gained valuable experience in the usage of sea to land cruise missile strikes, cooperating with Hutorian and Telamonese forces in intelligence sharing and gathering and generally putting the Dorvish intelligence systems to good use. Admiral Schönbeck was incredibly pleased with the efforts and note that while the loss of life on all sides was grim, the world is a better place after a tyrannical regime was removed and the people of Davostan are better off. Admiral Schönbeck who was named the Military Commander in Davostan will be the pointman for the Dorvish rebuilding effort, thousands of offers for assistance have begun to pour in as the peace negotiations are concluding. The Volksdundorfische Cultural Association has offered its hand, hundreds of Dorvish firms have offered assistance, the Dorvish government has announced a multi-billion dollar investment into rebuilding Telamon and Davostan's economy and naturally has partnered with its Hutorian allies to direct this.

Haldor, Greater Kordusia - Ministry of Defense officials confirmed that Dorvik has completed its largest ever multi-prong exercise to date. The Dorvish Armed Forces conducted several simultaneous exercises and operations. The first of the simultaneous exercises was a rapid response to piracy from Joint Base Kamphon in the Sea of Carina. The Dorvish forces stationed in Ostland alongside Ostlandic forces conducted a rapid response operation when a Minan-flagged tanker was boarded by pirates, the Dorvish and Ostlandic forces were able to recapture the tanker and placed several dozen suspected pirates into custody. The tanker was return to Mina underneath Dorvish and Ostlandic escort. Dorvish forces in Ostland have been on a near permanent training mission in Ostland for several decades, this has lead to the Ostlandic Navy having one of the world's leading navies in the Eastern part of Terra, helping to cement Ostlands place as a regional power in Dovani.

The second was a naval live fire exercise in the Mad Dog Ocean in conjunction with Keymonese naval forces. The Dorvish forces stationed in Keymon at the now completed Matern Naval Installation have prepared for sometime. The Dorvish naval base in Keymon is one of Dorviks largest and is capable of housing all of the Dorvish Navys ships, including the 2 Kaiser-class nuclear powered aircraft carriers. The live fire exercises included air to air defense interceptions of aircraft and missiles, an amphibious landing exercise with Dorvish naval infantry and Keymonese marine forces. The Dorvish Air Force also conducted snap NORDIC patrols around Keymon. Dorvish forces in Keymon are primarily assigned to NORDIC duties and conduct regular patrols of the Mad Dog Ocean and have been a staple in the region for the past several years. The Matern Naval Installation also holds a significant airfield where Dorvish Air Force and Naval Aviation conduct NORDIC patrols.

According the Supreme General Staff the Dorvish have approached Hutori, Lourenne, Dolgavia, Keymon and Kauzlia about building NORDIC capabilities past their current status. NORDIC is considered to be the premier air and missile defense networks on Terra. It covers nearly the entire northern hemisphere.

The third simultaneous exercise was a snap naval exercise off the coast of Dorvik as part of renewed effort to build influence and explore the arctic zones north of Dorvik. Dorvik has worked closely with allies Kazulia and Hutori to invest in arctic exploration, while Dorvik has largely remained ambiguous about its activities in the arctic, the Dorvish Navy revealed that the snap naval exercise was aimed at search and rescue operations. Kazulia, Hutori, Trigunia and Dorvik all make up a significant part of research, development and assistance to the arctic region. The Dorvish, Hutori and Kazulian efforts have largely been coordinated in an effort to enhance cooperation on the arctic. According to sources within the Supreme General Staff the Dorvish U-Boat forces have also been conducting wide-scale patrol efforts. The Dorvish have always generally remained tight lipped about their u-boat forces but with the construction of 15 new Type 212 u-boats it can not be doubted that they have increased patrols around the world, it has been suspected that they new u-boats have been deployed to the bases in Kamphon, Keymon and Dolgavia providing them a unique opportunity to patrol large sections of the world.

The Dorvish Armed Forces are coming off a metaphorical "high" with a success in the Makon War in which the Dorvish were on the "winning side". Dorvish naval forces from the Lievenian Sea Fleet gained valuable naval combat experience and the Dorvish gained a number of logistical feats during the war, including an increase in aerial supply and usage of drones and UAVs. The Supreme General Staff's military history section has been working heavily to detail and review the Dorvish efforts and tactics in the war, a hallmark of the Dorvish general staff system. The review will provide the Dorvish Armes Forces an insight into the successes and failures of operations across the board, notably in the field of naval and aerial surgical strikes. Dorvish Kordusian-class frigates are equipped with a navalized version of the ADG Stormshadow which is capable of being launched from Mk. 41 VLS canisters aboard the Kordusian-class Frigates. The newer Kruthia-class Frigates are equipped with joint land/sea attack cruise missiles known as the ADG 15 Mk. 4, capable of striking land and sea targets.

Several smaller exercises were attached to this, notably a series of snap maneuveres by the Landwehr in testing operational readiness. The 10th Panzergrenadier Regiment, the 23rd Panzer Regiment and the Panzer Lehr Regiment were all involved as well as elements from other units.

Dorvish drive investment to Dovmark and Davostan

Davostan - Dorvish Trade Commissioner Franzeck von Desidier cited a growing interest in rebuilding Davostan as an indicator of economic growth. Dorvish forces ended hostilities with the Davostani government several years ago and have since taken on a significant role in developing the local economy that was impacted by the war. Dorvish investment has been particularly focused on the island of Dovmark which sits closest to Dorvik. The island was one of the first places to see Dorvish military action and was captured particularly quickly thanks to the Dorvish Navy and the Dorvish Fallschirmjäger, now the island is bustling with the Dorvish headquarters of the Military Command in Davostan. The epicenter of the rebuilding effort includes a massive new port on the southern portion of the island owned and operated by Leopold Shipping AG, one of the worlds largest shipping companies and 2nd largest in Dorvik only behind Royal Dorvish Shipping AG. The port which is expected to take several years to complete will be one of Davostans largest ports, the island will also see benefit from the port as nearly 60% of the construction will be handled by local firms and employment. Admiral Carsten Schönbeck, the commander of the Lievenian Sea Fleet and Military Commander in Davostan commented on the Dorvish rebuilding efforts at the groundbreaking of the port, he said: "While we might have been victorious in our efforts to conquer the enemies in Davostan, we must not forget the people, the victims of all wars and we must assist them in building a new future."

The Dorvish have also invested a considerable amount of resources into rebuilding the Dovmark Airport, one of the biggest in the region, providing an excellent landing area for Dorvish aide. In somewhat typical Dorvish fashion the focus on "hard infrastructure" includes the development of roads, railways and most importantly the construction of a hydroelectric plan to provide cheap, renewable and clean energy to the island. Technische Energie AG, the Dorvish energy conglomerate who won the contract to construct the hydroelectric plant has been involved in dozens of hydroelectric plants across the globe, they took inspiration from Dolgavian research and development in the hydroelectric field. While the Dorvish have worked hard on building "hard infrastructure" they've also worked to built new facilities to care for people across Dovmark, Kaiser Health won a contract to rebuild 2 major hospitals that were damaged in the conflict. The State Combat Veterans Association of the Ministry of Defense has setup dozens of information centers to assist with information about Davostani citizens who were lost in the conflict and are providing support for Davostani citizens suspected of being victims or war crimes or involved in war crimes. The Dorvish Armed Forces have deployed significant Feldjäger forces to assist in investigations and apprehensions of suspected war criminals.

The Dorvish economy stands to benefit from the conflict as it has dived headfirst into rebuilding Davostan. Dorvish economic investment isn't limited to the aforementioned, they have been involved in a number of rebuilding efforts such as providing assistance to Davostani banks and financial institutions, providing low cost bonds and loans to Davostani local governments to rebuild. Dorvish forces will coordinate with Hutori to focus their efforts on capturing suspected war criminals and provide assistance to Hutori and Telamonese investigators.
