Haldor, Kordusia - President Florian Regismund von Rohr-Mauss and State Chancellor Johannes Josef von Bahr, following the terrorist attack in Haldor which left five Dorvish citizens dead and scores more injured, immediately proclaimed a local state of emergency. The proclamation was done directly by the majority in the State Council and they chided the Communist Oberprasident of Kordusia for "...failure to act." The Ministry of the Interior deployed all available police resources and brought in the State Security Service and the Security Police of the State Security Service. Of the three attackers, two were confirmed captured within an hour and the third was shot dead by members of the State Security Service on a south-bound chase down the main highway in Haldor. State Chancellor Bahr commented that the attack was "...random, poorly planned and ultimately a cowardly act." The State Chancellor also chimed in the planned operations to track down further Ahmadi State in Majatra cells that operated across Dorvik and across Artania, he noted that any attack on the Dorvish people, at home or abroad was a flat out declaration of war. The State Chancellor also responded to the claims of outgoing, rump President Olaf Hersch who the State Chancellor, and members of the Council of Ministers blasted as "...insensitive and callous." for commenting on political events during a time of national tragedy. "It is but another reason why the Communist in Dorvik fail time and time again, they do not care for the Dorvish people, only their sick and twisted sense of power."
It is reported that raids were conducted across Dorvik, aimed at several religious locations where the attackers are reported to have frequented. All of the attackers were citizens of southern Majatran states, Jakania, Kafuristan and Cildania. The Dorvish Foreign Minister has already called for the respective representatives from these nations to answer to the President and the Dorvish government; the Kafuri are expected to meet with their former close allies within the month of December and again in the month of January. The raids conducted by the State Security Service also were aimed at radical, militant Communist and Socialist groups which the State Security Service claims to have "...ties to the attackers." The comments in light of the recent poorly received comments by rump President Hersch have triggered counter-protests to the Communist. Unions for the police, spokespersons for the security, intelligence and military have denied such claims and have stated that they have only removed those who have be found with radical ties across the political spectrum.
