Dorvik - The Social Nationalist Party and former Minister of Defense and Inspector-General of the Armed Forces of Dorvik Franz Anton von Rohr-Mauss has spoken out against the Communist Party and their government for failing to meet the soldiers needs and desires. A crowd of thousands gathered, mostly of soldiers who retired when the Communist and Socialist came to power, to protest the Communist Party across Dorvik earlier this month. Across Dorvik the SNP lead rallies and protests against the current state of the Dorvish Armed Forces. This is after Gath Defense Collective, a defense think-tank with global reach, has called the current state of the Dorvish Armed Forces "...pitiful..." and "...lacking spine and leadership." The former Minister of Defense has called on the current soldiers and officers who remain loyal to Sacred Dorvik to continue to resist and fight against Communism and Socialism. The Dorvish Armed Forces are believed to have once again lost a significant portion of their NCO and officer corps when the Communist Party won and started conducted loyalty and ideological purges for those that did not kowtow to their every demand for their twisted ideology. The Dorvish Armed Forces alongside the security and police apparatus was very widely known as pro-monarchist, pro-conservative and pro-militarist and is believed to have deep ties with the SNP and other political parties. While the Communist do have a component of the military since coming to power, they are far and few between mostly due to the purges previously conducted by the SNP prior to their loss in the elections several years ago.

The SNP Strikes Back!
October, 4651

Haldor, Kordusia - The Social Nationalist Party had campaigned against the Communist in the October, 4651 elections. The Communists had supported the nationalization of all industries, leaving many Dorvish companies questioning what would happen, the Dorvish Armed Forces experienced a brain-drain following purges lead by the
Communist against soldiers and officers who were anti-Communist and the Dorvish economy tanked at the threat of total nationalization. Despite the five year tenure of Communist leadership, the entire process of nationalization had not taken full effect and the new Dorvish government underneath the SNP has already promised to reverse such decisions. In November, 4651 the SNP will introduce a bill to the State Council to undo the radical changes proposed by the Communist Party and allow economic freedom once again within Dorvik. Despite some calls for new leadership, Florian Regismund von Rohr-Mauss was elected to the mostly ceremonial position of President of the Dorvish Republic and seeks to rebuild the office after what he calls "...abuse by the Communist." and looks to become a dedicated front-man for the Dorvish Republic abroad.

With this, the incoming State Chancellor Johannes Josef von Bahr will seek to continue what he had set out to do several years prior in rebuilding the Artanian Union with the Artanian League, building regional ties and focusing on rebuilding the Dorvish economy. This time he will have a capable partner in Vice State Chancellor Viktor von Jaschke who will continue as MInister of Food and Agriculture as well. The new rising star has brought some traditional conservatives to the party in the wake of the Octobrist who are generally more Liberal Conservative and have faired, in recent history, poorly against the Communists. The Vice State Chancellor has met with incoming Minister of Defense and now Inspector-General of the Dorvish Armed Forces to discuss the potential arms deal that could provide a much-needed boost to the Dorvish economy now that it has been liberalized.

It is likely that within a few months Dorvik will return to some normalcy and the Dorvish government underneath the SNP will flourish.

Dorvish foreign office responds to Aldegar's new tax

Haldor, Kordusia - Dorvish Ministerial Director of the Department of Seleyan Affairs Heiner Veidt criticized the imposition of a new tax on the Aldegar Canal, a largely apolitical tool for centuries. The Director, who served a term as the Dorvish General-Plenipotentiary (Ambassador) to Aldegar cited the increasingly radical regime in Aldegar that has caused this. Director Veidt stated that the impact would be felt across several economies that rely on the canal for transport but nothing that couldn't be handled. According to the Ministry of Trade and Industry, in conjunction with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has announced that Dorvish-flagged ships will no longer be using the Aldegarian Canal, a move that is clearly in retaliation for the tax. While the cost will certainly increase for Dorvish shipping, it will not be as expensive as the flat 25% tax on Dorvish ships. CEO of Helborg Shipping AG, Karl von Helborg stated that the Dorvish government was correct in issuing regulation on preventing Dorvish-flagged ships from entering through the Aldegarian Canal. He reported to the Dorvish News Service: "While the cost will increase, which will inevitably increase shipping costs and product prices, the 25% tax is insane. I think that this will do more damage to the Aldegarian economy than ours if I'm being honest." The announcement saw a slight dip in the Haldor Stock Exchange before it rallied the following week on the news that the Dorvish government was standing up to the increasingly tyrannical regime in Aldegar in regards to the imposition of taxes on the Aldegarian Canal.

The Ministry of Defense was approached for comment and a spokeswoman for the Office of the Minister of Defense stated: "The decision to close the Aldegarian Canal to military vessels and impose a tax is an unfortunate, provocative move that the Dorvish government condemns. Fortunately for the Dorvish Armed Forces, we rarely traversed the canal due to the strategic disadvantage that it might put our sailors and soldiers." The Dorvish Armed Forces conducted several snap exercises, including a freedom of movement practice in December, 4651. The Ministry of Defense did not comment on the swathe of arrests that have occurred by the Dorvish Feldjager, the Dorvish military police, in conjunction with the Military Security Service, the Dorvish military intelligence agency, in regards to dozens of officers and nearly 250 enlisted men. When approached for comment, the Dorvish Ministry of Defense refused to comment citing "...an ongoing operation and investigation."

Dorvish oil company offers to boost Alorian shipments in wake of Aldegar crisis

Haldor, Kordusia - State Chancellor Johannes Josef von Bahr and veteran Minister of Trade and Industry Ursula von Lÿndow-Sennhein have announced that the Dorvish oil and gas corporation, the Natural Resources Technical Management Corporation, will increase supply to Aloria following the announcement that Aldegar will be cutting off gas and oil exports to the country. State Chancellor Bahr made the announcement several days after the decision by Aldegar and Aloria erupted in a row that would leave Aloria cold in the harsh northern winters of northern Artania. State Chancellor Bahr spoke on the steps of the State Chancellery building in Staatsplatz, Haldor. "We cannot allow foreign nations to strangle an Artanian nation because they spoke out about their irrational and quite frankly, worrying behavior. I have instructed the state-owned Natural Resources Technical Management Corporation to begin increased shipments to Aloria. That announcement is joined by the Ministry of Trade and Industry reducing the export costs of the oil and gas. We'll continue to work with our Alorian counterparts to make sure that the Dorvish and Alorian people, who share common ancestry and a long history together as Artanians, are warm from the aggression of reckless states." The State Chancellor was questioned on the decision of Kazulia to send a task force to the Aldegar Gulf and the State Chancellor responded with "We're in contact with our allies in Kazulia and we have likewise increased patrols of Dorvish bound ships that are carrying oil and gas. I've instructed the Dorvish Navy to increase our patrols for shipping and piracy." The Dorvish Navy has kicked up patrols since the SNP victory in October, 4651 when the SNP captured the control of the government and the SNP has righted the ship that Dorvik was on underneath the Communist regime that stifled the economy.

President Florian Regismund von Rohr-Mauss stated he would be conducting a state visit to Aloria to discuss the matters with them and that he was working with the Main Office of Artanian Affairs to finish the Artanian League charter. The Artanian League is widely seen as the replacement to the now defunct Artanian Union; something that the Dorvish are eager to replace with a more focused regional organization.

Aloria - Dorvish President Florian Regismund von Rohr-Mauss attended a state visit in Aloria earlier this month. The state visit came off the heels of the announcement that the Dorvish were going to make up for the lack of supplies being provided by Aldegar. The state visit, which lasted a week, saw the President and his Alorian counter-part tour across Aloria and discuss numerous topics. The deepening of economic cooperation between Aloria and Dorvik, who share a common border, is essential to the Dorvish strategy of recuperating their economic losses following a period of Communist rule. President Rohr-Mauss hinted at reduced tariffs and providing the Dorvish Border Police with more lax regulations regarding overland trade with Aloria from the southern border Largonia. Members from the State Customs Administration also attended meetings with their Alorian counter-parts, the leader of the Alorian-bound State Customs Administration delegation was Special Inspector Adalbrecht Hechler, who heads up the State Customs Administration's Artanian Trade Office.

Another topic of discussions was the development of the Alorian Armed Forces and the building of regional ties with the Alorian military, which has seen better days. Delegates from the Ministry of Defense offered to "...modernize and work to professionalize the Alorian Armed Forces and build a strong bilateral defense and security relationship with the Alorian people." Defense politics has always been a cornerstone of Dorvish foreign, economic and political policy. Dorvik has recently entered into a multi-billion dollar deal with Narikaton and Darnussia, providing them with a myriad of equipment and training, notably from Artanian Defense Group and the Dorvish shipbuilding industry.

, hello everyone, as you see we have lost the election, but to be clear and transparent we have been sabotaged by the police and military departments, by a new party who came before the election, but dissolved afterwords, witch brings questions above to me, but not the governement or the SNP. So i ask myself, if they have any involvement in this sabotage and sort of coup that happened us today. If this is democracy, we denounce and retreat us from this. Mark my words, if we get elected back in, we will change every single thing in Dorvik, the SNP is trying to restore Dorviks reputation internationally, but are destroying Dorvik and tgeir democracy by doing so. They do not care about the people, they only care for their image and the industry. We will do everything we can to fight off this capitalism and we will get stronger by doing so, nationally and internationally. We will not accept these kind of dictatorial tendency's. As the conference ended, a lot of militants where angry and shouting that the should strike and fight against this. They went outside and marched between the streets and shouting how the KP was stolen, but because this wasn't an authorised demonstration the police came inbetween wich resulted in some incidents after the police was accused of being partial the KP supporters shouted away with these injustice and SNP police the evening ended luckily with 5 small injuries, witch where ealisy fixed in the hospital.
