Dorvish FM heads to Dolgavia
December, 4685

Dolgavia - Dorvish Foreign Minister Jannick Wald is going to be in Dolgava for a state visit to assist the country in building up its economy. The Dolgavian economic stature after a series of economic faults have caused the countrys economy to be downgraded. The FM will be joined by a number of officials including those from one of the worlds largest state-owned sovereign wealth funds, the Foreign Capital Fund managed by the Foreign Economic Council and it's managing General-Director. The state visit will last nearly a week in December, 4685 and will cover a wide array of topics, mostly the investment into domestic infrastructure that according to Dorvish Development Bank reports in Dolgava, are "lacking" or "critical". A representative from the Foreign Economic Council, also a member of the Dolgavan branch of the Dorvish Development Bank have stated that the Dorvish favor towards infrastructure projects put people to work and assist in building marketable skills for workers involved. While the focus on infrastructure is key, the Dorvish in their state building operations are well known for developing a highly effective model of civil service, which was already imported to Dolgava. Dorvish state building infrastructure projects focus on urban and suburban building construction and management, common roadway and mass transit roadway construct, subway and railway construction and management as well as several dozen other operations such as electrical grid and communications grid construction and management.

The wide variety of Dorvish companies that are involved with the Foreign Economic Council and the Dorvish Development Bank such as Ebner AG, Seidenstücker AG (highway, roadway construction and management), Mohr-Staffel AG (railway and subway material construction, the Dorvish State Railways and other Dorvish corporations. The Dorvish delegation to Dolgava will also be involved in the discussion of military and security cooperation for the Dolgavan intelligence and security agencies. Members of the State Security Service and the Dorvish Police will accompany the delegation and will work to assist in building domestic intelligence and counter-intelligence capabilities. A cadre of officials from the Volksdundorfische Cultural Association, which already has a stronghold in Dolgavia, will be included; the delegation from the VDKV will be lead by Supreme Security and Intelligence Leader "Dolgavia" Obergruppenführer Theodor Wölfflin. The VDKV continue to play a notable role in the leadership of the Hulstro-Dundorfians in Dolgavia, who are considered by the VDKV as "Volksdundorfische" and have component that support a Hulstrian blend of Kaiserism. While the Dorvish FM will be present, a number of military officials from the Foreign Defense Office lead by Major General Franz Karsten von Sondheim will also be present likely to offer Dorvish military assistance if needed due to the heightened political climate.

Dorvish Unionfighter assigned to NORDIC Air Guard intercepting a Trigunian bomber

Haldor, Kordusia - The Dorvish Air Force announced the formal component of the NORDIC Air Guard that would patrol the northern portion of air space around Artania and parts of Macon as part of its NORDIC duties. Inspector of the Dorvish Air Force, Colonel-General Kaspar Baasch formally appointed General Artur Kohnstamm as the commanding officer of the NORDIC contingent of the Dorvish Armed Forces. General Kohnstamm, a veteran air power theorist, announced that the following units of the Dorvish Air Force would be assigned to a semi-permanent basis to the NORDIC Air Guard mission: I./JG 11 based of Petrov International Airport in Haldor (Unionfighters), I./JG 7 based out of Konestadt Air Base in Dorvan (Unionfighters), I./JG 117 based out of Kaiser Wilhelm Air Base in Westmark (Unionfighters), elements of the Aufklärungsgeschwader 102 and Aufklärungsgeschwader 103 (Reconnaissance Wing) based out of Lenebach Air Base in Largonia and Elements of the Transportgeschwader 1274 (Transport/Refueling Wing) based out of Haldor. While the bulk of the flight hours will be aircraft who possess AWEC and SIGINT, the fighter aircraft assigned, entirely Artanian Defense Group Unionfighters, will provide rapid intercept and escort missions if necessary. While the Dorvish are new to formally join NORDIC and contribute in a variety of new ways, Dorvik has longed patrolled the airspace around Artania and has largely claimed dominance over the Artanian airspace.

Haldor confused over Deltarian request
December, 4687

Haldor, Kordusia - Dorvish State Chancellor Maximilian von Kroeger and Foreign Minister Jannick Wald were confused when the plea from the new Deltarian government arrived from its embassy in Cahtice. The Deltarian-Coalition War was ended nearly 5 decades ago and the Treaty of Romula was the ending treaty for the war, however it was never agreed on how long the restrictions of the treaty would be permitted for. The Dorvish government enforced principal points of the treaty for a decade but began loosening restrictions when other successive governments had taken over following the collapse of the then-ruling party of Deltaria. Roughly 40 years ago the Dorvish began ignoring treaty provisions and not conducting business within the framework of the treaty, so for the new Deltarian government to plea with Istalia and Dorvik, it comes as a shock. Director of the Office of International Treaties Niko Eisenstadt stated that the Dorvish had foregone compliance with the treaty to focus on the state building of Deltaria versus punishment of the Deltarian people for the actions of their government.

State Chancellor Kroeger went on record and made the points clear: "The Dorvish government has not for the better part of 40 years enforced any provision of the Treaty of Romula and will not decide to do so in the future. Deltaria is a sovereign nation and following the decade after the war, the Dorvish government and military focused on our traditional state building operations which heavily impacted destroyed infrastructure, communications and networking throughout the country and we enhanced the democratic values found within Deltaria. For the current Deltarian government to be asking us for "permission" well...that's just odd." The Foreign Ministry also echoed the State Chancellor's statements and noted that it had no record of enforcing the treaty provisions past a decade after the conflict ended. The Foreign Minister noted that he was unaware if Istalia had been enforcing provisions and if they were, that was on them.

Supreme General Staff approves peacekeeping mission in East Dovani
July 4690

Haldor, Kordusia - The Dorvish government, in agreement with the World Congress has joined a multination coalition of nations to address the growing number of issues in East Dovani. Dorvik is no stranger to issues in East Dovani as it was involved in a conflict within Suyu Llaqta several decades ago and has remained a proponent of assistance to East Dovani nations. The leadership of the Supreme General Staff and the Ministry of Defense approved the contribution of Dorvish forces to a number of peacekeeping missions in East Dovani. Officially, the World Congress and the Security Council approved the formation of the "World Congress Peacekeeping and Assistance Force in East Dovani" (WCPAFORED) commonly called "PAFOR East Dovani" by members of the World Congress and the Security Council. The membership of the PAFOR East Dovani will include several dozen nations, the most prominent of them being Dorvik, Deltaria, Istalia, Kazulia, Lourenne, Ostland, the Vascanian Empire, Midway, Medina and Istapali. It was noted that the PAFOR East Dovani will shift its membership and composition overtime according to the overall head of the PAFOR East Dovani, ethnic Endralonian Fodor Géza, an ethnic Endralonian who serves as a high-ranking official within the World Congress Peacekeeping and Assistance Force. The duration of the mission has not been defined by the World Congress or the members of the Security Council but will be "...as needed." according to Fodor Géza.

Dorvish forces will set up shop in the ad hoc naval Port of Lusaketi and will begin their peacekeeping and stability operations in Suyu Llaqta before deploying elsewhere to assist the PAFOR East Dovani. The leadership of PAFOR East Dovani has divided up areas of operation to specific countries and mixed countries up to provide a sense of "...cooperation and to show willingness for international peace..." according to Fodor Géza. In North Dovani the PAFOR will be primarily consisting of Kazulia, Lourenne and Ostaldn focusing on taking down numerous, well armed cartels (criminal) that have terrorized the native population and render large swathes of the government inoperable. Dorvish forces alongside Ostlandic forces will provide peacekeeping and stability operations in Suyu Llaqta before departing for other parts of East Dovani to assist other countries. In Kurageri, Deltarian, Istalian and Vascanian Empire forces will conduct peacekeeping operations to attempt to curb religious (Hosian vs. Ahamdi) tensions within the region. Kazulian, Lourennian and Medinan forces will be dispatched to Liore to assist the government in peacekeeping operations related to a number of violent economic and political protests that have broken out.

The main base of operations will be in Istapali which will serve as the base of operations for the World Congress Peacekeeping and Assistance Force and all nations involved with the PAFOR mission in East Dovani will provide support to the government of Istapali in whatever crisis arise in Istapali. The PAFOR will be based out of the city of Kaseshi, a "military city" that houses a large military airport and a large-scale "field of mars" type area for military formations. It is located some ways outside of the Istapali capital of Kalibaka. One notable, important component of the PAFOR East Dovani is the prohibition of building formal military bases within any of the countries within the mission, bases that are built will be underneath the command and control of the World Congress' Peacekeeping and Assistance Forces and any contributions to such bases will be underneath the command and control of the alleged permanency of the PAFOR East Dovani. To entice the member nations, the PAFOR East Dovani has built a vast majority of the bases and locations required to house, train and assist in the missions.

Istapali
Controller: January 4th, Mr.God
Military ranking: Small power
Economic ranking: Weak
Background: Istapali is melting pot of East Dovani cultures, it has Dovani Majatran (African Arab), Kitembo (Swahili), Keobi (Igbo), Orun (Yoruba), Watembo (Somali), Huhoa (Hausa) and Douwu (Chicewa), a former colony of Hulstria. After achieving independence, it has become one of the largest economies in the Third World, governed mostly as a federal presidential republic. In addition to the various native languages spoken throughout the country, Dundorfian (German) retains a prominent position.
Real Life Inspirations: Chad, Cameroon, Central African Republic

PAFOR Mission in Istapali will serve as the base of operations for the World Congress Peacekeeping and Assistance Force and all nations involved with the PAFOR mission in East Dovani will provide support to the government of Istapali in whatever crisis arise in Istapali. The PAFOR will be based out of the city of Kaseshi, a "military city" that houses a large military airport and a large-scale "field of mars" type area for military formations. It is located some ways outside of the Istapali capital of Kalibaka.

North Dovani
Controller: Open
Military ranking: Small power
Economic ranking: Weak
Background: North Dovani was formerly a colony of Kyoseon (Dankuk/Dranland) and was at one point home to a Draddwyr (Welsh) and Kyo (Korean) minority rule. However, the native Keobi (Igbo) and Huhoa (Hausa) population eventually took back control and a vast majority of the Draddwyr (Welsh) and Kyo (Korean) have returned to their home countries or been pushed to the very western fringes of the country. North Dovani has a history of federal republicanism, it absorbed the former country of Degalogesa after its native Keobi (Igbo) and Huhoa (Hausa) populations voted in a referendum to join North Dovani.

PAFOR mission in North Dovani will be Kazulia, Lourenne and Ostland attempting to tackle rampant cartel (criminal) violence throughout East Dovani. Special attention should be paid to the western portion of East Dovani which comprises a wide array of "stable" areas that are dominated by Kazulian, Kyo and Draddwyr cities and towns that well known for being havens for safety and security.

Suyu Llaqta
Controller: Open
Military ranking: No power
Economic ranking: In need of development
Background: The indigenous peoples of Suyu Llaqta are diverse, with the Kitembo (Swahili) people being the most notable. Prior to independence, the country was governed by Hulstria and it has a Hulstrian (Austrian) colonial overlay as a result. Since then, it has experienced a number of military coups and generally been governed as an authoritarian one-party state, though there was a period where the country was divided by civil war. Dundorfian (German) is among the nation's most important languages and shares official status alongside Kitembi (Swahili) which is the official de facto language.
Real Life Inspirations: Democratic Republic of the Congo, Congo

PAFOR mission in Suyu Llaqta will be a stability operation by the Dorvish alongside Midway forces.

Mina
Controller: Auditorii
Military ranking: Small Power
Economic ranking: Weak
Background: A former colony of Hulstria and Gao-Soto, Cifutingan has been a relatively (by Dovani standards) stable presidential republic since achieving independence. The impact of colonisation has been the dominance of the Dundorfian (German) and Kunikata (Japanese) languages. The native population are diverse but the largest groups speak a derivative of Majatran known as Dovani Majatran (African Arab) and share minority groups with other East Dovani nations.
Real Life Inspirations: Sudan, South Sudan

Dorvish and Ostlandic forces will assist in peacekeeping operations, other nations will send special forces to Mina to combat the growth of radical Ahmadism that is potentially linked to terrorist attacks across the globe.

Kurageri
Controller: Open
Military ranking: Small Power
Economic ranking: Weak
Background: Kurageri is a nation primarily inhabited by the Kuragao or Kitembo (Swahili) people, who speak the Kitembo (Swahili) language. A former colony of Sekowo, it has a Kunihito (Japanese) minority as a result. Since achieving independence, Kurageri has primarily been governed as a presidential republic.
Real Life Inspirations: Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, Uganda

The PAFOR mission in Kurageri consists of forces from Deltaria, Istalia and Vascanian which will focus on curbing and keeping the peace between religious groups (Hosians and Ahmadis).

Liore
Controller: Open
Military ranking: Small power
Economic ranking: Weak
Background: Formerly a colony of Sekowo, Liore is dominated by the Kitembo (Swahili) people and their language Kitembi (Swahili). Since independence, it has been governed in various ways, from presidential republic to military junta, but the Kunikata (Japanese) language remains a notable language used in the country.
Real Life Inspirations: Kenya

The PAFOR mission in Liore will consist of Kazulia, Medinan and Lourennian forces to assist the government in a wide series of economic and political protests that have developed into violence.

SNP gathers in Haldor for General Council meeting
April, 4691

Image
SNP delegates gather for the first few days in party-wide voting.

Haldor, Kordusia - The Social Nationalist Party's General Council was held to discuss the future of the political party and the successor to current Supreme Council Chairman Florian Regismund von Rohr-Mauss. The General Council is made up of all sitting elected members of the SNP across Dorvik and is convened on a five year basis to discuss the party's platform going into elections and provide votes on large, hot topic political items. While the SNP appears to be a unified political party that rarely has its member break ranks and vote independently, especially when it is the sole political party in Dovik, there is usually contention for leadership when the party holds the General Council to elect a successor to the outgoing Chairman. Several factions have competed for power, including the supporters of current State Chancellor Maximilian von Kroeger who seek to have him elected as the new Chairman of the Supreme Council and overall leader of the SNP. Others have put up candidates such as Minister of the Interior Klemens von Lÿndow-Sennhein, Finance Minister Hans von Auernheimer and well-known and beloved Foreign Minister Yannick Wald as the new Supreme Council Chairman.

One candidate that has received a lot of attention despite being an "outsider" to national politics is a lawyer who serves as a Judge in the Largonian Provincial Court System as an Apellate Justice. Karlis Gottlob von Lÿndow-Sennhein, the younger brother of Interior Minister Klemens von Lÿndow-Sennhein has received a lot of attention due to his calls for a restoration of the All-Dorvish League with the Social Nationalist Party as a component of the ADV. The All-Dorvish League (originally the Dorvish Workers' Party) was the "spiritual successor" to the SNP following its disastrous electoral defeat in October, 4342. The young Lÿndow-Sennhein is one of the youngest Dorvish lawyers to be selected as a Judge and one of the youngest ever to be appointed to the Appellate bench throughout Dorvik, he is followed by Emilia Schürer who was appointed as a Judge on the Kordusian Provincial Administrative Court, the highest court dealing with administrative matters outside of the State Administrative Court which serves as the "supreme court" for administrative issues.

Karlis Gottlob von Lÿndow-Sennhein, an active member of the Security Service of the Volksdundorfische Cultural Association, a Lieutenant Colonel in Reserve with the Dorvish Army and a prominent political mind for the SNP's Largonian branch, has called for a restoration of the All-Dorvish League with the SNP as a component. While in national politics there is one register political party, the Social Nationalist Party, several other parties work underneath the "umbrella" of the SNP, this was very similar to the way that ADV worked but officially members of the All-Dorvish League still retained their party affiliation to some degree whereas the SNP does not permit that. The restoration of the ADV has been called for several times before but has largely gone unnoticed by the SNP party delegates and policy makers. While Lÿndow-Sennhein is a "dark horse" candidate for the Supreme Council Chairmanship, he has been attracting followers due to ties with the prominent Octobrist faction of the SNP which many believe retain power behind the scenes due to the close links to the "elders" of the party.

Lÿndow-Sennhein, in stark comparison to other candidates had laid the foundation for what he calls "The Kingdom", the nickname that Dorvik has been referred to as over the past several decades. He believes in the promotion of the Artanian League which took a serious nosedive when former Foreign Affairs Minister Lars von Götz fell ill and eventually passed away; he believes that bringing in politicians and leaders from former Artanian Union political organizations such as the Artanian Federal Democrats can provide a much needed "spark" to the new Artanian League and a renewed interest in regional affairs. He is a proponent of a more comprehensive foreign policy, notably increasing ties with Kazulia, Lourenne but also expanding outside of the former Northern Council states to places that might be considered to be "adversaries" in modern political terms. He welcomed the addition of Dorvik into the World Congress Peacekeeping and Assistance Force in East Dovani as he believes that the Kingdom has a place in foreign affairs that expands beyond being an economic and military juggernaut. Domestically, he wants to continue to expand on infrastructure projects, namely on assigning the provinces expanded power and a more "federal" structure to Dorvik as he believes that local governments can meet local problems better than a centralized government. This is considered to be a different opinion then most of the unitarian opinions that Dorvish politicians hold.

Lÿndow-Sennhein has also called or an expansion of the Dorvish Police, the State Security Service and the focus on building cyber defense and cyber/electronic warfare capabilities beyond what the Dorvish Armed Forces possess now. He has called for a complete overhaul of the Foreign Intelligence Service and its role in Dorvish intelligence gathering. It has been rumored that he is a proponent of the development of an international intelligence sharing network, something that the Dorvish have largely avoided due to the Dorvish heavy focus on counter-intelligence and domestic affairs when it comes to security and intelligence circles. He has called for a multinational mission to continue to develop and expand the international space station in orbit above Terra, he has also called on a return to the moon, known as Luna. He believes that a multinational mission to the moon, the first in what feels like centuries, can be properly conducted with Dorvish leadership as they were the first and only country to be on the moon.

While the candidacy for Lÿndow-Sennhein seems unlikely, many said the same thing for the Rohr-Mauss dynasty when it assumed leadership of the Communist Party of Dorvik in March of 2958 and became a hallmark of Dorvish politics. Could this be the rise of a Lorman family in Dorvish politics?

Lÿndow-Sennhein elected as SNP Chair, takes over State Chancellery
January, 4692

Haldor, Kordusia - State Chancellor Maximilian von Kroeger announced today that he would resign following the somewhat stunning election of Karlis Gottlob von Lÿndow-Sennhein as Chairman of the Supreme General Council of the Social Nationalist Party. The election was tightly contested from the beginning when Lÿndow-Sennhein took and early lead in the Decemer, 4691 vote of the General Council. His main opposition was the faction currently lead by State Chancellor Kroeger and the government. While the election of Lÿndow-Sennhein is indeed surprising, it is no shock that the Largonian Provincial Appellate Court Justice won. The youngest Appellate Justice in Largonian judicial history at the age of 32, Lÿndow-Sennhein is set to become the State Chancellor following his election. While some have cited his political in experience, that couldnt be further from the truth. Lÿndow-Sennhein joined the SNP's youth wing the Young Dorvish Order (Dundorfian: Junger dorvischer Orden) when he was eligible at the age of 16 and eventually become a municipal councilor for his home city of Großengeismar at the age of 22 and was propelled into a career as a lawyer following his graduation from law school at Weinsedorf University School of Law. He became involved with the Pronvicinal Ministry of Justice and eventually was selected as a local municipal court Judge, he eventually became involved with the Largonian Pronvicial Apellate Court, the appeals court for all cases in Largonia and was selected at the age of 27 to become an Apellate Justice for the court.

During his tenure as a judge, he became heavily involved in the regional branch of the SNP, serving as Deputy Chief of Politicial Leadership and eventually Chief of Provincial Leadership, the policy expert relating to Largonian provincial politics. His name became frequented in political circles when it was speculated he would run for the position of Oberpäsident when elections came up again in August, 4693 but did not instead he threw his hat in the ring to become Chairman of the Supreme Council of the SNP, the overall leader of the SNP and the ex officio candidate to become State Chancellor. His candidacy was announced in October, 4691 and by the start of the General Council in early December, 4961 he was a competitive favorite. His speeches before the gathered delegates wowed them, he spoke with clarity and focus, he provided solutions and plans that other candidates lacked. Despite many detractors not wishing to break with the SNP and restore the All-Dorvish League, the secondary complaint versus "inexperience", he spoke to building on the legacy of the SNP and continuing to use its name and powerful voter base. While he did not rule out the possibility of a future as a part of the ADV he said it wasnt in the cards now.

The State Council approved Lÿndow-Sennhein as State Chancellor, succeeding Kroeger in January, 4692. In his speech before the entire State Council he announced that he would keep the current Council of Ministers until he could conduct a review and replace those who wished to be replaced or found others that he wished to replace the current ministers with. He announced that Wilhelm Klaus von Göthaus would be his Chief of Staff, he was yet to announce a Vice State Chancellor but many expect a "...traditional..." candidate would be selected. One of his first actions was the continued approval of the deployment of Dorvish forces to East Dovani. While the King of Dorvik maintains the official title of "Supreme Commander" the State Chancellor has leeway in the deployment of the Dorvish Armed Forces. Several members of the State Council have pushed for new legislation giving the State Chancellor the ability to deploy Dorvish forces across the world for a period of time without formally declaring war, similar to that of the King who possesses the ability via the "Powers and Authority Clause" of the Constitution of the Kingdom of Dorvik which is further enhanced by the Law on Defense and Powers of the Head of State bill that was passed by the State Council.

While the unlikely Chancellorship is young, Lÿndow-Sennhein is looking to capitalize on his popularity and success. He has promised a significant overhaul of how the provinces of Dorvik are managed, he wants a more "federal" structure. In his speech before the State Council he laid the foundation for what he jokingly called "Dorvish Federalism". The tenants of the federalist Dorvik would be the oversight by state ministries and that provincial governments have the ability to better handle situations. His work was already seen when it was announced that both the national government in Haldor and local, mainly provincial and district level governments would oversee the dispersement of social benefits to citizens. This bill, authored by a Lÿndow-Sennhein loyalist in the State Council was met with some popular acclaim by Oberpäsident's and local authorities who are significantly more capable of shifting and managing benefits, which this act of the State Council will allow. While the ultimate decisions rest with the myraid of agencies that handle social welfare benefits at a national level, they will be locally managed at a provincial and district level.

The full plan for the Social Nationalist underneath the new Chairman and State Chancellor has yet to be announced.

Lÿndow-Sennhein announces Council of Ministers and senior government posts
March, 4692

Haldor, Kordusia - Following nearly two months of the "caretaker" government previously lead by Wilhelm von Kroeger, new State Chancellor Karlis Gottlob von Lÿndow-Sennhein announced his new Council of Ministers and a portion of his appointments to senior government officials. From the last government, those who were asked to stay were Foreign Affairs Minister Yannick Wald, Interior Minister (and brother to the new State Chancellor) Klemens von Lÿndow-Sennhein, Finance Minister Hans von Auernheimer, Trade and Industry Minister Karsten von Desidier and Food and Agriculture (and President of the Dorvish Rural League) Kaspar von Jaschke. The new faces to the government include Margret Schreiner, the new Minister of Justice and former Presiding Justice of the Kordusian Provinicial Appellate Court. She is one of the first women from the Social Nationalist to hold the post of Minister of Justice, she is notable for staying the sentence of suspected Red Front terrorist Niko Feyerabend when his defense attorneys attempted to say that the legislation that made the radical, militant socialist group a designated group, was unconstitutional. PJ Schreiner stated that the legislation was constitutional after it was appealed from the Kordusian Provincial Supreme Court. She is widely considered to be a close ally of the new State Chancellor as the two share a similar law background. One of the more unique appointments is Colonel-General (Jäger) Konstantin von Färber as the Minister of Defense, Chief of the Supreme General Staff and the Inspector-General of the Armed Forces of Dorvik. Col.-Gen. (Jäger) Konstantin von Färber is the first member of the Dorvish Special Forces, known in Dorvik as the "Jäger" or "Hunter" in Luthorian, to be appointed as the head of the Dorvish Armed Forces. While he officially holds rank within the Dorvish Army, he served as the Commander of the Dorvish Special Forces Command. The appointment of a special forces commander to the highest post of military leadership outside of the King and Kaiser and the State Chancellor is to say unique, it could signal a shift in Dorvish Armed Forces policies if he chooses to conduct his affairs differently.

Other appointments include: Thaddäus Franz, a prominent civil engineer who leads, Franz-Körver AG a prominent Dorvish civil engineering firm that has handled dozens of domestic and foreign infrastructure projects will be tasked by the new State Chancellor to revamp the aging Dorvish infrastructure including the entire electric grid which will be the first order of business for the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport. Dr. Tristan Börngen, the new Minister of Health and Social Services and a former Deputy of the State Council was responsible for assisting in the "Law on the distribution of Social Welfare Benefits". The law granted local governments at the provincial and district level the right to oversee and manage social welfare benefits short of some specific instances that will be maintained by the national government. Dr. Tristan Börngen will have to tackle the problems facing the health and social welfare system, including a proposed overhaul of the pension system of Dorvik and he will have to rally the State Council to support his "Winter Benefit" (Dundorfian: Wintervorteil) a single, Dolgar infusion to low-income families during the winter that generally rely on manual labor for income. His proposed overhaul of the pension system would have a tiered tax based on income, the tax will cap ultimately at 10% and would be done in order to sure up the state-operated pension plan. The incoming Minister of Health and Social Services will look to expand private pensions. pick for Minister of Science and Technology, Dr. Patrizia von Schichau, will have a heavy task ahead of her. The State Chancellor has promised a vigorous return to space and the development of new era of "...space exploration and research." Dr. Schichau, a former rocket engineer for the Dorvish Aerospace Service (Dundorfian: Dorvischer Luft- und Raumfahrtdienst; DLRD) will be tasked with the launch of several military and civilian satellites including the launching of a massive new satellites tied to TPS, the Terran Positioning System sometimes called the Global Positioning System.

Important senior posts were filled including Trade and Industry Minister Karsten von Desidier as the General-Director of the Foreign Economic Council which manages the massive Foreign Economic Fund. Daniela von Götz as the Prosecutor-General of the State Prosecutors Service, the top prosecutor for the Dorvish government and the granddaughter of former Foreign Minister and Artanian League founder Lars von Götz. Sigismund von Gath, now a Major General in Reserve of the Dorvish Army will serve as the head of the State Security and Defense Council.

Haldor sends assistance to Dolgavia
Juky, 4693

Haldor, Kordusia - Dorvish State Chancellor Karlis Gottlob von Lÿndow-Sennhein announced that Foreign Affairs Minister Jannick Wald will be attending a state visit in Istalia and then Dolgavia. The state visit in Dolgavia will focus on the development of domestic infrastructure, mainly on building new roads and railways. Dolgavia was the focus of major Dorvish investment several centuries prior and the Dolgavian branch of the Dorvish Development Bank has been involved heavily in the Hulstro-Dundorfian sphere for decades, members of the VDKV have also pledged to assist the new government in Dolgavia. A cadre of Dorvish officers from the Dorvish Armed Forces will be assigned to a training mission in Dolgavia for a period of a year and will be renewed by the Supreme General Staff on an as needed basis. The focus of the training will be the development of non-commissioned officers and company and battalion level officers. The training cadre will select several dozen officers, non-commissioned officers and enlisted training officers will be sent to Dorvik to attend the Dorvish military education system.

The Dorvish Armed Forces will also offer several grants in the several billion Dolgar range which will allow the Dolgavians to overhaul their military. The focus will be on mechanization and motorization of the Dolgavian Armed Forces. The development of the Dolgavian Air Force will see the expansion of the Unionfighter Block 3 delivered by Artanian Defense Group and cooperation between local defense industries. Officials from the ADG have announced that they found a new defense conglomerate to build locally produced equipment.

The Dorvish Development Bank and the Foreign Economic Council will the handle multi-billion Dolgar investment into Dolgavia. The focus on infrastructure includes job training programs offered by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport. The Dorvish university system will offer an exchange program to train Dolgavians in civil engineering, civil administration, police sciences and other fields that are the focus of development of strong, democratic local government and the development of local oversight of local infrastructure. The actual investment program will require that 55% of all hired labor will be Dolgavian, traditionally Dorvish investment programs and infrastructure programs overseas have 90% domestic hiring and labor. The program will look to decrease unemployment and increase reliance on self-produced economic results. Several prominent right-wing trade organizations will look to build stable, reliable and supportive trade unions that are both socially and politically active.

The Dorvish have a keen on eye on Dolgavia due to Dorvik being the standard bearer for Dundorfians, even Hulstro-Dundorfians around the world.

Haldor, Kordusia - The Dorvish Navy's Lievenian Sea Fleet underneath veteran Admiral Stefan Katzen has sailed to Dolgavia, Hulstria and Lourenne to conduct a routine patrol of Anatonese Ocean and conduct a training exercises for underway replenishment with several others naval forces, including the fledgling Dolgavian Navy that is comprised of largely older Trigunian ships. For several days the Dorvish Navy conducted live fire exercises with the Dolgavian Navy and their array of surface vessels, notably the two Admiral Valeryevich-class Frigates that the Dolgavian Navy purchased from Trigunia. Commanding officer of the Lievenian Sea Fleet, Admiral Stefan Katzen spoke at length at the new cooperation between the Dolgavian and Dorvish armed forces, signalling that the Dorvish were eager to continue build their relationship with the Dolgavians.

After several weeks the Lievenian Sea Fleet returned to its base in Königheim, Miktar via the Ananto Strait, the Lievenian Sea Fleet was accompanied by ships from the Hulstrian Navy and Dolgavian Navy who were conducting one of their first major blue water operations to base in Dorvik for several weeks to participate in training. At the helm of the Lievenian Sea Fleet is the nuclear powered Kaiser-class aircraft carrier, the DNS Heike Grossberg. The DNS Heike Grossberg serves as the flagship of the Lievenian Sea Fleet and the focal point of Dorvish force projection across the world. It was modernized and repaired in mid 4692 and returned for sea trials over the summer of 4693 and was set out to sea to conduct a routine patrol to Dovani at the end of August and is to return home the end of September.

When Admiral Katzen was asked about his return route he simply stated that the Ananto Strait provided the most cost effective route to return to Dorvik. When asked about the "dangers" the Admiral responded with "...these are considered international waters, any attack on a Dorvish naval vessel will be a unilateral declaration of war and Dorvik, along with its allies, will respond promptly and proportionally." The Lievenian Sea Fleet will return with a number of Hulstrian and Dolgavian vessels to base in Königheim.
