Haldor, Greater Kordusia - Members of the World Congress Main Office, underneath the leadership of WC Representative Wulf Steitz, announced that it planned to bring a standing resolution against nations with outright slavery or nations with slavery as a punishment for crime. A spokesperson for the WC Main Office stated that the decision, while likely causing conflict with neighboring Dundorf and the increasingly unstable and radical Lodamun, would ultimately be done in the name of human rights and freedom for people everywhere. The standing sanctions, while not yet presented to the Security Council were noted to be "harsh" and "unparalleled". Security Council resolutions are binding and nations who chose not to implement them can likewise be sanctioned in accordance with the Charter of the World Congress. In regards to a speech done by the Kalistani representative to the World Congress in the General Assembly, the Dorvish government through the Supreme General Staff and the NTVS issued a statement in which is denounced an alleged Dorvish nuclear weapons program and any speculation that the Dorvish state possesses nuclear weapons. Simply put, the statement called on Kalistan to prove its allegations with facts. The Dorvish maintain that they only use nuclear weapons for peaceful, clean energy means outside of their nuclear powered aircraft carrier that is done for environmental and budgetary reasons.

Dorvish Navy officials announced that the Dorvish Navy will conduct routine patrols with Dorvish flagged vessels as a part of an effort to secure international waterways. The Dorvish Navy has expanded its operations across the globe and has continued to operate at allied naval bases where it shares basing right with countries such as Kazulia, Hulstria, Dolgavia and Lourenne. Dorvik also maintains bases abroad in Ostland, Aldegar and Kafuristan where it possesses significant capabilities to rearm and supply its fleets. Members of the Dorvish Naval Staff, known officially as the Inspectorate of the Dorvish Navy, have proposed expanding and modernizing the Dorvish fleet further. Inspector of the Dorvish Navy, Generaladmiral Stefan Katzen, announced that the Dorvish would be exploring the development of a merchant marine for Dorvish flagged ships, protecting it underneath international law. The Inspector also announced that potentially more ships could be constructed for the Dorvish Navy to handle any situation that arose.

Dorvish government officials in Fort William welcomed the arrival of several new right-wing parties in Luthori and stated that the hope was that Luthori corrected its path. Artanian League Secretary-General Torsten von und zu Kiesling had unilaterally administratively suspended Dundorf from the Artanian League for its stance on slavery and its descent into radicalism. Dorvish officials were spotted across the globe, notably in countries such as Kazulia, Dolgavia, Deltaria, Lourenne and Hulstria building both political and economic ties. The NTVS, the Dorvish state owned corporation developed to manage nuclear power plants and handle state interest in mineral wealth has played a prominent role in shaping Dorvish economics over the past several years as all forms of energy and mining have risen to be nearly 20% of the Dorvish GDP as a whole. Most recently in Likatonia the NTVs programs employeed thousands of Likatonian workers, training them in fair and safe labor practices, produced a record number of management qualified candidates and welcome dozens of Likatonian visitors to study at Dorvish universities and colleges as apart of the economic program agreed upon by the NTVS and the Likatonian government.

Dorvish officials announces that soon a permanent rotation of troops would be involved in the World Congress' peacekeeping and stability mission in East Dovani, alleviating the 10th Panzergrenadier Division which has been involved since the start of the mission.

Haldor, Greater Kordusia - The veteran Dorvish statesman, Jannick Wald is entering into his last years of service for the Kingdom but an unusual thorn in his side remains. He has had to deal with a radically unstable and unpredictable Kalistan. Despite Kalistan being considered but a minor nuisance, the Kalistani government has managed to become an international pariah that requires babysitting to deal with. The "Kalistan Issue" started over freedom of navigation through the Ananto Strait and now has devolved into state-sanctioned piracy, narcotics smuggling and threats against trade vessels. Several dozen prominent think tanks, notably Gath Defense Collective and others, have stated that Kalistani's economy cannot survive continued instability. The worlds largest economies have taken to using other routes for trade, many of them less expensive and according to reports by the Finance Ministry, the Trade and Industry Ministry and the State Economic Office, have put a dent in the Kalistani economy but that remains to officially be seen. While the Dorvish economy has grown and trading has expanded with several dozen countries, including new markets and investments from Istalia and Deltaria, traditional trading partners such as Lourenne, Kazulia, Hulstria, Ostland, Dolgavia and Hutori have remained strong. The resurgence of Luthori has seen an uptick in Dorvish continental trade as well, the Dorvish hope that continued success in Luthori can help the Dorvish situation.

While the ever present threat of a conflict looms, the Dorvish are prepared. Fortunately, decades of hard work and training have prepared the Dorvish for a conflict with a notably smaller power such as Kalistan. One of the most critical elements that the Dorvish Armed Forces have over the Kalistani military units is professionalization. While paramilitary units will have a variety of different skills and skill levels, ultimately a dedicated and professional fighting force such as the Dorvish Armed Forces could make quick work of the Kalistani irregulars and even regular forces if they so chose. While the Dorvish could effectively handle the situation on its own, it likely wouldn't. Regional allies such as Ostland, Kazulia, Lourenne, Dolgavia and Hulstria have a vested interest in the continued peace and freedom of the Anantonese Ocean and the Kalistan instability and lunacy is not helping them. The Dorvish have also deployed additional assets to assist regional allies as well as beefed up security and patrols in the area, notably in the Babor Naval Base in Aldegar which sits on the eastern coast of the Aldegarian province of Kemoku.

While international affairs has been paramount for the Dorvish over the past several years, the domestic situation has vastly improved. The Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, underneath Minister Thaddäus Franz has agreed to a funding program that would see every 20 years a massive review be conducted of Dorvish infrastructure. This review would then point to "critical" positions within the Dorvish infrastructure and provide both public and private opportunities to improve said areas, while "critical" is the highest rate of the program, there are others such as "strategic" which the Dorvish government sees as necessary to their strategic success overall. The Dorvish have also radically overhauled a series of ports, starting with the Port of Fairfax which has served as the chief transportation area for Dovani and Artania, the revival of the Port of Fairfax introduces modern security features, enhancing the State Custom's Administration's mission in Fairfax as well as introduces a number of new areas where vessels can dock and unload and load their cargos.

Inspector of the Dorvish Navy formally announces new commands

Haldor, Greater Kordusia - Inspector of the Dorvish Navy, Generaladmiral Stefan Katzen, the former commanding officer of the South Ocean Fleet, announced the formal creation of several new command areas for the Dorvish Navy. Marine Command Aldegar, Marine Command Ostland and Marine Command Majatra were all officially announced and their respective Navy Regional Commands were attached to them. Marine Commands, technically on the level of the Marine Command Group operate somewhat independently of the Marine Command Groups which are based out of Dorvik but maintain offices and forces overseas. Marine Command Aldegar and Navy Regional Command Aldegar is based out of Babor Naval Base, Marine Command Ostland and Navy Regional Command Ostland is based on the island of Kamphon and Marine Command Majatra and Navy Regional Command Majatra is based out of Tanius von Desidier Naval Installation in Kafuristan. Generaladmiral Katzen noted that elements from each of the three primary Dorvish fleets would be broken off and semi-permanently assigned to these formations. The official announcement of these commands comes at a time of heightened tensions but also at a time when Dorvish influence is spreading throughout the world as a force for good, a force for peace and force of international order and prosperity.

Lievenian Sea Fleet bolsters Lourenne-Hulstrian naval presence in the Anantonese Ocean

Haldor, Greater Kordusia - Dorvish Defense Minister Col.-Gen. (Jäger) Konstantin von Färber and Inspector-General announced that elements of the Lievenian Sea Fleet would be working in coordination with the Lourennais Royal Navy to counter increased instability in the Anantonese Ocean. The flagship of the fleet, the DNS Heike Grossberg, a Kaiser-class aircraft carrier will be joining the peacekeeping mission in the Anantonese Ocean and the resupply and support will be handled out of Navy Regional Command Aldegar, where the Babor Naval Base is located. The Dorvish attachment to the combined Lourenne-Hulstrian fleets provide a serious uptick in firepower and experience in the region, notably in the area of the Ananto Strait and intelligence information for Kalistan. While Kalistan has claimed to have rapidly developed a "fleet" or several ships over the course of two years, the Dorvish intelligence source claim this to be unlikely and unrealistic. Gath Defense Collective, one of the worlds leading think tanks on defense and security issues also claims to be highly unrealistic and could be seen as a move by Kalistan to try to bolster itself when in reality, they should take some more time to make it appear as if they are doing things the right way versus publishing unrealistic news. The Lievenian Sea Fleet has been underneath the command of Admiral Eckhardt Weiskopf, a noted commander who served under then-commander of the Lievenian Sea Fleet Admiral Stefan Katzen, who now is the Inspector of the Dorvish Navy, the overall leader of the Dorvish Navy.

Haldor, Greater Kordusia - Jörn von Motha-Geyr, well known inside of political circles of the SNP but an unknown outside of the SNP. The Chief of Abteilung D of the State Security Service and a former municipal councilor in Vilnau, the relatively unknown state security officer has been making waves as a possible successor to current State Chancellor Karlis Gottlob von Lÿndow-Sennhein. This somewhat shadowy figure has become a fixture at State Security and Defense Council meetings as well as Council of Ministers meetings. A close ally of the current State Chancellor a top man within the Dorvish nobility, the man hails from the Motha-Geyr line of the original Motha family. Largely from Westmark, formerly Mothar, which was ruled by the Motha family, the Motha family made their name as police and intelligence officials throughout the history of Dorvik and the Dundorfian states. The family, divided between the Motha-Geyr line and the Motha-Elser line have held several provincial positions as Police Presidents, provincial Interior Ministers and other positions. Members of the Motha-Geyr have served predominantly in the domestic intelligence services whereas the Motha-Elser have dedicated themselves to the foreign intelligence services.

Jörn is no exception, he served as a municipal councilor in Küssingen, Westmark following his election at the age of 21 and resigned a year later after he was selected to become a member of the State Security Service. Jörn entered immediately into the department responsible for foreign counter intelligence and became a prominent leader of the department. Currently he holds the rank of Oberstaatssicherheitsrat (Luthorian: Head State Security Councilor) the equivalent to a Lieutenant General in the Army and Lieutenant General of the Dorvish Police and heads the foreign counter intelligence department of the SSD. The decision of the SNP to potentially put forward a political candidate without much front line political experience has been a hallmark for the second time. The SNPs General Council will convene on October 1st 4715 and will decide to elect a new leader, potentially.

The current State Chancellor has not decided on his future but many suspect that the now older State Chancellor will resign in favor of a new successor. Lÿndow-Sennheinn is likely to go down as one of the most prominent Dorvish State Chancellors in history, leading Dorvik through an era or conflict with Kalistan and its often radical, socialist government. The signing of the Ananto Strait compact will likely continue to be discussed for several decades regarding its impact and overall the leaps and bounds made by the lawyer from Largona will remain at the forefront of discussion. Lÿndow-Sennheinn oversaw a large expansion of the Dorvish economy, focusing on diversifying the Dorvish energy industry and creating and renewing several nuclear power plants, expanding clean and safe nuclear energy overseas as well as building broad consensus for the Dorvish message abroad.

The new leader that Dorvik selects, be it an old one or a new one, will have many difficult choices ahead. The increasingly dangerous and fluid situation in East Dovani, the growth of activity in the Artanian League, the re-expansion of the Trigunian Bear, focusing on continually building Dorvish economics and more importantly protecting Dorvish interests at home and abroad.

Dorvish government voices concerns over North Dovani

Haldor, Greater Kordusia - Dorvish Foreign Minister Torsten von und zu Kiesling noted concern over the growing conflict in North Dovani and urged Kazulia, a Dorvish ally, to work hard to contain conflict in the region. North Dovani has been ablaze with ethnic conflict as well as narco-terrorism which has long plagued the once stable country in recent decades. North Dovani absorbed the former nation of Degalogesa following a referendum by the native populations to "re-unite" with North Dovani as a whole several decades ago. According to the Foreign Minister von und zu Kiesling the State Chancellor as well as the Supreme General Staff and the State Security and Defense Council have conducted regular meetings on the situation using resources located in Dovani, notably in Ostland to monitor the situation. While it is unlikely that Dorvik will directly get involved it is likely that they will provide material support and intelligence resources to Dovani allies such as Ostland and Kazulia. The Motha-Geyr government has remained largely focused on domestic issues versus international issues, the noted change in Dorvish politics has been likened to State Chancellor Motha-Geyr who took the reigns nearly two decades ago in July of 4713 when he was appointed as leader of the Social Nationalist Party and State Chancellor, succeeding the beloved former State Chancellor. Motha-Geyr's government was noted for its youth and generally "Octobrist" feel to it, many of the members being in their early 30s or late 30s.

The Dorvish economy, despite an economic slow down, has continued grow at a steady pace and increased trade with traditional allies such as Hutori and Kazulia have continued. The Hutorian-Dorvish trade agreements in the early 4700s which were worked out by Prime Minister Patrick Wayne, Defence Minister Eric Ross and International Trade & Industry Minister Montgomery Lord as well as the previous Dorvish government have paid large dividends for the Dorvish economy as a whole, the re-opened markets in Hutori have once again provided Dorvish and Hutorian businesses with excellent investment and growth opportunities.

Minister of Justice Danelia von Gotz noted that the continued crackdown on the "Red Front" remnants has continued and that the Dorvish Police as well as the State Security Service have worked hard to purge left-wing and liberal elements from the Dorvish political scene due to continued threats of violence. Several weeks prior the State Security Service uncovered a plot by members a left-wing trade organization to drive a vehicle borne IED into the Petrov building and detonate several more throughout the country, including in Westmark's capital. Members of the State Security Service as well as the Dorvish Police have arrested several dozen, including that "leading member" of the left-wing trade organization who planned to blow up the Petrov building and Staatsplatz. State Chancellor Motha-Geyr spoke to the nation in a public address in which he said: "Terrorism, of any kind, cannot be permitted in Dorvik and we will defend Sacred Dorvik with our lives. We will continue to monitor the situations as they arise and we will continue to operate against any form of terrorist throughout the country. We're watching legislation that will further prevent left-wing terrorism within Dorvik."

Dorvish Trade Commissioner and Trade Minister head to Jakania

Haldor, Kordusia - Dorvish Trade Commission Adolphys Karl von Heusmann alongside Trade and Industry Minister Oskar von Wädenssteig-Schwarzburg-Stralbrück announced a week-long foreign visit to Jakania to discuss investment opportunities to the new Jakanian government. Jakania and Dorvik were once considered close allies, the relationship was considered to be Dorvik's strongest in the region prior to the collapse of the Jakanian government and Dorvik's pivot to Kafuristan which has remained a close ally throughout several successive centuries. A bevy of other business and financial officials will accompany the Dorvish Trade Commissioner and the Trade and Industry Minister; notably officials from the national flag carrier of Dorvik, Dorvish Airways, representatives from the Artanian Defense Group (both military and civil) as well as leading representatives and officials from the Dorvish banking and financial industry. Prior to their departure to the Jakanian capital of Dokuz. While details of the investment are limited and the Dorvish government has not formally announced any sort of trade agreement or higher level meetings, it is likely that this meeting is the first step in a series of many trade-related meetings to re-open Jakania's painfully slow economy back up to the world. It is expected that in typical Dorvish fashion, that the Dorvish will make investments into what they called "hard infrastructure" which minaly include transportation infrastructure, airports as well as the development of key banking and financial structures in the region. A large component of the trade delegation are members from the slimming Majatran-Dorvish Bank which once operated its headquarters out of Jakania but has since shifted elsewhere, namely Kafuristan.
