All 150 seats; though in other news the Federalist party has been rumored to be making gains with dissidents within the government, Premier Ivanov has already stated that there are no dissidents within the government as everyone is allowed to speak freely; General Secretary Petrov has yet to release word on his opinion of the subject. New National FlagThe People's Congress of Dorvik moved to change the current flag of the nation, some feel that it is too representative of a former, more ancient government and have went forward to include that national color of Dorvik within the new flag, Dmitry Dolgorukov the Minister for Culture has stated that "...This new flag will represent the will of the people and the will of the nation..." Also the nation's cultural minister, Dmitry Dolgorukov has released a statement which outlines the revival of Dorvik history and it's diverse populations.
State Media confirmedIn a legislation passed by the People's Congress the Communist Party has won over rights to all state media, both radio and television making it easier for them to remove the harmful influences which threaten to penetrate our society. General Secretary Petrov has already noted that anyone who was an owner or a manager or even a member of a television or radio station before the party took power to please come and they will give you a job and a similar position. Premier Ivanon, a noted member of the CPD's Communications Committee has already stated that the media is flourishing. It shall be up within the next month or so was his estimated time.
Military reform and recoveryThe face of General Secretary Petrov was shown in every home today as he spoke about the necessity for defense and security, he launched a campaign in the People's Congress to reform the military into a more stable and suitable position. The Military Reform Act I-2962 has lead to the disbanding and creation of the People's Military of Dorvik, the official military of the People's Republic of Dorvik, while some rumors are floating around that the CPD is looking to establish a paramilitary wing of the party, Premier Ivanov, General Secretary Petrov and Defense Minister Stormov all dismissed the rumor as "...fascist and barbaric..." Within the coming weeks you shall see the PMD grow in size and strength, General Secretary Petrov notes that this is merely for the security of the nation.
