GLP Loses 10% Votes and 64 Seats as AfP attains a Commanding Majority in the Council and Retains PresidencyThe Excitement in the AfP Headquarters attained fever pitch when Exit polls revealed that the AfP Could win almost 310-330 Seats in the State Council and that President Holman may be on course to a historic first round victory.But GLP Members were not so ecstatic when the exit poll also revealed that the party could lose around 60 seats.The Exit Poll,proved to be accurate with the AfP winning 321 Seats and the Greens Also Losing 64 seats from 159 to 95.The Red Movement emerged as the Biggest Winner in the AfP,Rising from 57 to 143 Seats under the Leadership of Christopher Enkelmann,was only slightly behind the PdWS which emerged as the largest party with 144 Seats,Meanwhile the SDP rose from 22 to 47 seats and the Centirst Party Gained 1 seat to arrive at 34 Seats.
Meanwhile Mr.Peter Holman once again proved to be a Popular Leader among all sections of society with a historic first round victory with 55% of the votes,And the ADA Nominee trailing far behind at Less than 30%.
As for the GLP,It was Only Able to Retain Kordusia were Genelia Ortega was Re-elected to a Historic Third Term meanwhile the party lost both Largonia and Miktar with large swings against the GLP,The Party also lost almost all of its Rural Seats in the South,North and the Islands apparently due to the Parties Perceived "Pro Urban"and "Too Progressive"Polices on Social Issues.The Party met with backlash among worker communities due to the unpopular Reintroduction of VAT On Essential Goods.
The Greens,However Retained its Urban Base with the Party Retaining all its seats in Urban Areas such as Haldor,Schrudehofen and Inner Fairfax.

New GLP Leader and Outgoing Finance Minister Katrina Olsen:-
After the Electoral Debacle the Party Endured Last Month,Chancellor Stella Schultz stepped down as GLP Leader and Federal Chancellory,but was asked to stay on as interim Chancellor until a New Cabinet Could Be Formed.
She also announced that the New Leader will be elected before August 1 and only two Candidates threw their hat in the ring,They were Katrina Olsen,The Outgoing Finance Minister,Who was the brain behind the introduction of the VAT on Essential Goods which cost the GLP a lot of votes in the last election,But she has Greater Approval Ratings than Outgoing Chancellor Stella Schultz and enjoys support among a Section of the public for her role in reducing the extremely large deficit which existed at the time of her appointment as finance minister.She has moved further to the left than she was as finance minister advocating Greater Spending and Regulations on Businesses
The Other Person who Joined the race was Adalbert Schneider,The Former Governor of Miktar who is also the leader of the Parties Right wing,She is a Staunch Federalist and also supported lower taxes and spending together with adopting a more Hard-line Policy towards Asylum Seekers,She said that she will also place the party in the "Mild Right" of Dorvish Politics.She was,Therefore Unpopular Among the Urban and Kordusian Wings of the GLP which together account for more than 60% of the GLP Membership and it was certain that Olsen would win and she unsurprisingly did.The Party Members were eligible to vote by post or in person at the Various GLP Offices.
Turnout was at 98% and Katrina Olsen won Kordusia,Westmark and Dorvan meanwhile Schneider Won Largonia and Miktar.Mrs.Olsen also won the Support of 65 of the parties 95 MPs and that of Mrs.Schultz as well.

2.Adalbert Schneider:-141,120:-36.0%
Total:-392,000.
Katrina Olsen is also expected to become The New Chancellor as the Largest Party of the AfP,Rote Bewegung has reportedly expressed its intention to make her Chancellor.We will have to see if the AfP is truly able to live up to its promise of creating a Fairer Dorvik which "works for all"
