ZERIN - Sheikh Abdul Aloreen held a summit this week with a fast growing number of clerics and Ahmadi thought leaders who have come out against extremism. They have joined in the High Chancellor's efforts to promote peaceful religious practice and a secular government which favors no religion but the equality of all religions. This measure also grows out of the near 30 year reign of the Chann Government - which has installed a stable and functioning government that is able to provide services and has won civil liberties for all people, granting same-sex marrriage equality which would have been impossible under Ahmadist Extremism, granting women and homosexuals equality in the military, establishing a living wage, funding for education, etc.
- Sheikh Abdul AloreenExtremism is hurting our faith. It has hurt our people with oppression. It is no wonder that many moderate Ahmadis and Majatrans have consistently rejected extremism in favor of the moderate and liberating movement created by the Chann Government. Many Majatrans have come to embrace the Liberation as the liberation and nothing else because we now know what freedom is and what religious tyranny and oppression has wrought upon our land and our faith. Ahmadism is not a violent religion. Ahmadism is peace. The Jabhah al-Sha`biyah li-Qiyamah al-Qalb is wrong to preach violence.
