Moderate Ahmadist, Clerics join High Chancellor to end extremism, "they are hurting our faith"

Image

ZERIN - Sheikh Abdul Aloreen held a summit this week with a fast growing number of clerics and Ahmadi thought leaders who have come out against extremism. They have joined in the High Chancellor's efforts to promote peaceful religious practice and a secular government which favors no religion but the equality of all religions. This measure also grows out of the near 30 year reign of the Chann Government - which has installed a stable and functioning government that is able to provide services and has won civil liberties for all people, granting same-sex marrriage equality which would have been impossible under Ahmadist Extremism, granting women and homosexuals equality in the military, establishing a living wage, funding for education, etc.

Extremism is hurting our faith. It has hurt our people with oppression. It is no wonder that many moderate Ahmadis and Majatrans have consistently rejected extremism in favor of the moderate and liberating movement created by the Chann Government. Many Majatrans have come to embrace the Liberation as the liberation and nothing else because we now know what freedom is and what religious tyranny and oppression has wrought upon our land and our faith. Ahmadism is not a violent religion. Ahmadism is peace. The Jabhah al-Sha`biyah li-Qiyamah al-Qalb is wrong to preach violence.

Governess Anan Aloreen: "The end of extremism will be the liberation of our faith from the shackles of repression."

Image

ZERIN - The Governess, who has largely remained silent, consistent with her quiet nature, has made a rare public speech in which she joined the Ahmadi clerics who have come out against extremism. Indeed, the Aloreen family has risen high in the Chann ranks having been a long time liberal majatran family that was persecuted by the Ahmadist extremists for their liberal views. Her uncle, Sheikh Abdul Aloreen is leading the religious moderate coalition.

These extremists... these terrorists. They have never been good for Kafuristan. They have never been good for the Ahmadi faith or for Majatrans. It is time that peaceful majatrans of the Ahmadi faith fight back and reclaim our Faith

30,000 DORVISH-KAFURIS AND EXPATS COME IN DROVES TO SEE HIGH CHANCELLOR, CHANT "LUDOLF WENT LOO LOO"
Image

MIYATAH, NEKKAH - The High Chancellor this week has been travelling throughout the Province of Nekkah, which is home to a large concentration of Dorvish expatriates and Dorvish-Kafuris. The reception by Dorvish-Kafuris was ear-deafening - given the High Chancellor and the Chann Government's elevation of minorities to full equality in Kafuristan since entering the void left behind by the oppressive Ahmadist regimes. The Dorvish people were for all intents and purposes forced to keep their Hosian Faith a secret as they feared the Ahmadist extremists government would take coercive action - sometimes involving torture. But since the Chann Liberation and the desecration of the State Sponsor of Ahmadist Extremism, the Dorvish people have since built hundreds of churches, many bearing plaques of thanks to the Chann family - whom they regard as liberators.

The High Chancellor was greeted by Alfred Bohm, a retired former Dorvish military general who had immigrated here to join his son and wife - who had left Dorvik shortly after the birth of their son. With Mr. Bohm were Hosian church leaders Immanuel Kont and Gretchen Karzenseitsen and community leaders from the various surrounding towns and villages with high percentages of Dorvish people.

Excerpt of Speech:

"Good people of Kafuristan. I come here to again reaffirm the Chann Government's stance. Minorities of all races, religions, skin color, and nationality and sexual orientation have an equal place here in Kafuristan and no longer shall live under the iron boot of Ahmadist Extremist Oppression. [Applause]. But alas, the Dorvish Republic, unprovoked, have turned back centuries of good relations between Gao-Shown and Dorvish people and between Kafuristan and the Dorvish REpublic and has taken a turn for the worse. While they preach peace and stability, I fear they are mobilizing for war under the guise of the Chann Government travelling half the world to attack them. [laughter] I agree. It is insane. Quite insane, the notion that we would spend your hard earned tax dollars to send troops to attack your homeland. But alas, times have changed and their leadership has changed and I know that many of you know this. But I know I have your support and I pledge to you that no matter what transpires between kafuristan and the Dorvish Republic, I will have your back. The Chann Government will have your back. You will continue to be able to practice your faith. You will continue to be able to earn a living wage, to raise your families, and to call Kafuristan home.

The Dorvish packed stadium range with thunderous applause as they chanted "LUDOLF WENT LOO LOO"(Referring to the Dorvish State Chancellor Ludolf, a member of Sozialliberalen '47) and "GOD SAVE THE CHANNS!".

IMPERIALISTS IN CHANN PARTY STAGE COUP AGAINST ACHARIYA, FORCE EARLY ELECTIONS - ACHARIYA WINS BY LANDSLIDE AND MODERATES SEIZE CONTROL OF PARTY

Image

ZERIN - The Senate was in an uproar this past month as the Imperialist wing of the Chann National Party, largely the remnants of Rithisak Chann's regime (which had held considerable sway of Kaiser Chann's administration), as they staged a coup of the party and sought to use a forced early election not only to oust Achariya Chann from the Chancellorship and to elect more imperialist chann politicians. Achariya Chann had expected this day to come, however, and had secretly put in placed a campaign plan for moderates like herself to sweep the elections in the event that the Imperialists would make a grab for power. Her foresight cost the Imperialists what little control they had left.

Mainly, the Imperialists thought that the current trouble brewing overseas with the Dorvish/Trigunian/Hutori axis of evil would work to their benefit as Kafuris feel the machine of war beginning to mobilize and woud perhaps want a stronger, maybe even Male figure, at the helm. However, the Imperialists fatally underestimated the love that Kafuris had for Lady Chann - who appears to them both as the nations "Strong Mother".

CHANN GOVERNMENT MOBILIZES NAVAL AND AIR FORCES IN RESPONSE TO NEWS OF NAZI TAKEOVER OF BADARA; ARUN CHANN HAS NOT RULED OUT AN OUTRIGHT INVASION TO STABILIZE THE SHAKY TERRITORY

Image

ZERIN - Another extremist regime change in Badara has prompted the Chann Government of Kafuristan to mobilize its naval and air forces in the Badaran Strait waters and airspace. The move has come about as a result of the announcement of the Badaran government of the opening of various concentration camps throughout the unstable nation. The Chann Government, which has grown increasingly imperialistic under Arun Chann's chancellorship, has cast this mobilization as a response to human rights atrocities, but many experts see this as his opportunistic adventure to put the Chann Republic's military to use.

"We will do what we can to protect the Badaran people from further extremism," the High Chancellor said at a press conference. "Even if it means installing a new government that will provide stable and reliable governance. We can only tolerate such an unstable neighbor for so long."

Native Kafuris and Majatrans, who have grown accustomed to Chann rule, have largely supported these efforts as the economy has made massive rebounds in the last few decades and their oil jobs and revenue booming under ChannOil's state-granted monopoly. Kafuris have all but accepted the status quo of Chann overlordship and see their eforts toward Badara as safeguarding kafuri interests abroad.

Kafuri Nationalism Gains Popularity Among Anti-Chann Groups

Kafuri Nationalism has now emerged following the long rule of the Channese over Kafuristan. The Kafuri people had failed to unite against the Chann imperialists, until now. The Kafuri Nationalist Party represents Kafuri Nationalism at the national level.

Kafuri Nationalism is a big tent political independence movement that strives to depose the Channs and banish the Channese invaders. Party members vary in their ideologies, but are united in their desire to depose the Chann imperialists.

Kafuri Nationalism

Kafuri Nationalism has 5 core principles:

1. The Kafuri people(Majatrans) are tied to Kafuri soil and are the only rightful rulers of Kafuristan.

2. The Kafuri people, when united, are unstoppable.

3. The Kafuri people must never be subjects of any non-Kafuri leader.

4. The Kafuri people must put the welfare of Kafuristan before their own welfare.

5. All Kafuri people are brothers, and must look out for each other.

Imperial High Chancellor of Chann Imperial Republic of Kafuristan (CIRK) Convenes Council to Assess Possible Threat of new Badaran Regime
Image

CHANN - Imperial High Chancellor Puthryith Chann, who has been in power since 4000 and nearly in is mid-80s, has convened the Chann Council on Majatran Peace in order to assess what threat the Alttahaluf Alaishtiraki in Badara, across the strait, pose to stability in the region.

Regimes have come and gone in Badara. Some we have opened up relations with and others have refused to engage in peace talks. This council will assess our path forward and assess what part this new party might play when it comes to regional stability. - Puthryith Chann, Imperial High Chancellor

Heiress of Aloreen Family publicly criticizes Chann Government's renaming initiative

Image

AHAZ, Aloreen - From their family palace in Ahaz, the Heiress of the Aloreen Family has taken an unprecedented move on behalf of the family to oppose the recent proposal of the Imperial High Chancellor Puthryith Chann to rename the nation to the Imperial Republic of Chann.

Native Majatrans, who still comprise most of the nations population, have rallied behind the Aloreen in opposing the measure.

We owe a great debt of gratitude for 100 years of peace and prosperity to the Channs. But this land has always been Kafuristan and should remain so. - Andara Aloreen

Seeking a different approach, Chann Government seeks to stabilize Badara through private enterprise

Image

ACHARIYA - There is no doubt in the eyes of many Kafuris, namely Channese-Kafuris, that Badara has been somewhat of a thorn in the side of regional stability - with regimes coming and going, many of them hostile to the Chann Government. Often, the Chann Government chose to respond through strength, with its mighty military arsenal and well-funded military. However, many Chann National Corp. executives have begun pushing the Chann Government to take a different approach by encouraging private investment into the nation.

With that said, many CNC officials have been secretly dispatched to try to negotiate deals with Badaran dignitaries and to push for liberalization of the markets in the island nation, which ranks near the top with Kafuristan and other Majatran nations as being one of the top oil-rich nations.

ChannOil, which has a government sponsored monopoly on Kafuristan oil production and exports, has long eyed the islands looking to diversify its oil portfolio. However, many Chann Government bureaucrats tied to Chann Defense Industries have pushed back on the easing of sanctions - since military hostility is a boon for defense spending.

The High Chancellor, Puthryith Chann, meanwhile has established a Regional Economic Stability and Investment Commission (RESIC) to assess the plausibility of further action.

Nation struggles with Transgender Rights, Chann Government sues Razamid Province

Image

Achariya - Over the past few years, Transgender Rights have taken an increasingly large portion of the spotlight in the courts. The Province of Razamid, a bedrock of remnants of Ahmadist conservatism, in 4030 passed the Bathroom Privacy Act, which sought to forbade Transgender citizens from using the bathroom of the sex with which they identify.

The Chann Government sued for an injunction of enforcement against the province, claiming that the act violated several rights of Transgender Citizens. Oral argument was heard this year in the Ministerial High Court. A Decision is expected soon.
