"A terrible disaster, the defeat of theocracy in Saridan"
January 3113Earlier this morning, the first conference with regards to the Saridani situation was held in LUP headquarters here in Kafuristan. The air was depressing and all the heads carried a sense of defeat, with eyes sad and wimpy, like everyone had witnessed some great personal loss, whether electoral or family, it is not known. The government of Kafuristan received plenty of criticism for their latest acts in Saridan, and more specifically, with the fall of Golemia or rather of, the inability to hold Golemia from the rebel army, forcing Mr. Maximilian III to issue a press conference and address both the nation and the international world. The calendar writes 3 January, 3113."Good morning to all, ladies and gentlemen. I appreciate all of you coming here after such a short notice. But I also presume you expected some kind of response from your government after the staggering and petrifying events that took place in Saridan not 20 hours ago. Yes, I will speak of those who lost their lives trying to protect the capitol of Saridan because not only did Golemia represent the nation's pride, not only did we have to protect the property and the lives of the Saridani people, but we also had to ensure Saridan did not walk into a path of a devastating civil war. The siege had a turning point. Yes. We continuously received supplies from Surtilati, naval battles leaned in favor of the Kafuri Navy and the desperate forces outside the city perimeter were loosening up. Then things got quiet and we were betrayed by those who fell for the empty dream of the rebels, for the empty words of the Nameless Party who in their attempt to secure those beliefs did not fear to slaughter anyone standing in their goal. Within two hours, the navy had retreated and Golemia had fallen. It is a terrible disaster, it is the defeat of theocracy in Saridan; that era has died.
We lost plenty of men out there. We lost good men. Their families now scream with agony and pray to Akim, wishing for the Word of Ranz'riah to bring justice. I assure this, ladies and gentlemen, good friends here in Kafuristan, children of Kafuristan and all the petrified citizens in mainland Saridan: we did lose Golemia. There are no excuses, whatever the events. We failed to keep those that were at stake during the siege; values, people, property - everything and everyone. But we shall assure you this. The might of the joint military of Kafuristan and Surtilati are more than enough to crash the rebels of Saridan and we shall secure victory by any means necessary now. So many have died already, is that justified for the acts of the Nameless Party? I assure you it's not. We shall not spare even a single member of the Nameless Party, be it politicians, military men, or citizens. We shall annihilate every single person who follows and believes in the warmongering words of the Nameless Party. Saridan will witness the quickest and most devastating civil war history has ever seen and that is because the Nameless Party are murderers who have been sentenced to death by the rest of the world. No mercy. No leniency. We now fight for justice and the souls that were lost in all unfairness during this blinded war. We fight for peace and stability. But above all, we fight for the people of Saridan who wish to see the sun shining over a free day once again. We fight for those who cannot mourn right now for the events of December 3112.
I ask you all, ladies and gentlemen, to bear with me before questions, for a minute, in memory of the unjustified deaths of all those people who fought for our willing but who we never knew personally."
