Today morning, chaos rampaged through Kundrati, as police departments all over the country scrambled to respond to over twenty different bomb threats. It all began early at eleven when the Galemia PD was called and a man said that there was a bomb on the campus of the University of Galemia. The bomb squad was dispatched to the university, but before they could arrive, the same police department received another call that said there was a second bomb in the Galemia city centre. Shortly after this was called in, the Kasaema PD received a call of a bomb in a cinema close to the city's suburbs. As time went on, more and more calls started to come in, every call threatening of a bomb. By 11:45, police departments all over the country had received calls of bombs in the area.

As the bomb squads arrived at the scenes, they discovered that most of the bomb threats were, in fact, false. They found a series of black backpacks that contained what originally looked like big amounts of semtex. However, it took the bombs were actually just pieces of plasticine that had a digital timer attached to them. As they continued to find more bombs, they found that the bomb threats had not been true. There were only 3 exceptions to this. Two bombs were found in car parks in Arkham and Tamasine that were in-fact actual bombs. The other was in a park near an abandoned bathroom in Leora. These three bombs were all significantly bigger than the others, and when being defused, the members of the bomb squad found out that these explosives had gun powder. Of the three explosives, the two in the car parks were defused, whilst the one in the park went off. However, the three bombs contained extremely small amounts of explosives. A bomb squad officer was attempting to defuse the park bomb went it went off. He only received minor injuries, even though he was practically holding the device. The injuries came mainly from holding the explosive, which caused his hands to receive severe burns.

With the attack over, everyone expected AEFNS to claim responsibility, but they did not. Most experts, however, do believe that they were responsible for the attack, given its massive scale. These same experts are now trying to understand why the organisation would organise something so massive for it to have little to no effect. One thing during the attack was clear though, the police department could not handle having so many calls at the same time. The Kasaema police captain has ensured that they will start running more drills on achieving better response times and have better organisation.

Rescue attempts at the stock exchange

After nearly one year of almost no activity by AEFNS, many had wondered if the organisation had perhaps faded away. Their last attack had barely done anything but confuse the police, and they hadn't done very much damage. A few people thought that they might have been preparing for a bigger attack on a bigger target, but most brushed those concerns away. It had seemed as if NACTO had successfully defeated the Anti Endralon Front for National Sovereignty. Then, yesterday at 9:43 AM, they were proven wrong as explosions shook the inhabitants of Kasaema.

Earlier, at about 9 AM, the Kasaema Police Department started to receive dozens of calls. The calls came from all over the city and its outskirts. The calls were all bomb threats of places in the city. From movie theatres to schools and even one threatening the Palace of Governature. Bomb squads were dispatched immediately, but the police hesitated, as they believed this could be similar to the bomb threats of last year. However, when a bomb went off on a radio tower in the city's outskirts, the police's attitude changed. Although most bombs were fake, some did explode. These explosions happened mainly in radio, cell and telephone towers. Seeing how the bombs started to go in these sorts of places, the higher-ups in the Kasaema PD started to wonder if AEFNS was trying to bring down coms and distract the police from a main attack. As this was happening, over ten different bombs went off, slowly shutting down communications in the city.

All of a sudden, at 9:40 AM, police suddenly changed direction to the Kundrati Stock Exchange. The stock exchange in Kundrati had originated back when Aregita first won the election and is a symbol of Kundrati becoming more like Endralon. Many historians see the deregulation of the stock exchange as the official fall of socialism in Kundrati. As the police headed its way, people were seen evacuating the building. Apparently, the Stock Exchange would be the target. Only 3 minutes after people started to run away from the building, three explosions went off inside the building. As fires erupted, people continued to rush out. However, some of the most important people in the building, particularly people representing endralonian corporations, were not seen leaving. As firefighters arrived at the scene, another explosion went off. This time, underground. The building started to tremble, and people started to run away from it. After a few seconds of this trembling, the sound of things breaking filled the street. It then promptly collapsed. Debris was everywhere and fires started to erupt. Ash covered the streets, and people leaving the building were all completely covered in it.

After the initial shock of the building's collapse, people started to react. In what was a heroic and extremely empathetic moment, everyone started to collaborate. Emergency responders and regular civilians all did what they could to help those trapped inside. Shortly after the collapse, the sound of people shouting for help and of pieces of rubble being banged against each other were heard. Rescuers did their best to bring out the people that were trapped. As time started to pass, heavy machinery was brought to help with the bigger obstacles. As the morning of the following day approached, people started to lose hope of finding anyone alive.

When death tolls started to come in, they showed that the majority of the dead were endralonian business people. Apparently, they had been trapped in some of the higher floors. It appears as if someone from AEFNS had locked them up there, as almost none of the endralonians made it out alive. This has made authorities believe that the attack had been deliberately against these people from Endralon. After a leak from the government, people have taken to the streets to demand that something is done. They ask for Aregita's resignation and for some replacement of Trón, who they call an "incompetent bastard". Some senators have also attacked NACTO directly, asking for them to fulfil their oath of mutual protection.

With the attack, the Kundrati Stock Exchange has gone into free fall. Particularly people who owned shares of endralonian corporations who started selling them as soon as the government leak went out.

Earlier today, the entire nation was frozen in place by shock, as AEFNS's message was broadcasted all over the city.

"Greetings citizens of the Sovereign Republic of Kundrati. I am the Commander of the Anti-Endralon Front of National Sovereignty. I am sorry for the damage that was gone to our great and Sovereign Republic but since we attached ourselves to the viper known as the Directorial or should I say, Dictatorial Republic of Endralon, and their puppet organization, the Northeast Artanian Covenant Treaty. It is a Covenant alright, a Covenant that sells our collective souls to Endralon and their Corporate Masters. We have truly given up the Sovereignty of our Sovereign Republic and this must change. The AEFNS makes the following requests and demands of the Kundrati Government, and should they be carried out, the AEFNS will step down and cease all violence. First, the Sovereign Republic of Kundrati must expell all NACTO Military, Law Enforcement and Intellgence forces that are infecting our great nation. These are parasites that are oppressing us in the name of maintaining our national sovereignty, and yet we allow these vipers to move about our nation, harassing our citizens without question. Second, the Sovereign Republic of Kundrati will end any and all business relationships, ties and interests with any Endralon Corporate Entity. Endralon has used their corporate influence to dominate our nation, and even as we stepped foot from the oppression of socialism, we stepped into the binding and oppressing ties of Endralon corporatism. The Sovereign Republic must be allowed to strike it's own path, but can not do so while Endralon is allowed to steppe their claws into us. Endralon is to leave Kundrati once and for all in any economic capacity. Third and final, the Sovereign Republic of Kundrati will withdraw from NACTO. We will strike our own path in the world, not being dictated to by the Dictatorial Republic. Thank you, my fellow Citizens, and make sure you tell your Senators and Politicians to follow through on these just demands and the violence will end! Thank you!"

Shock spread through the nation as everyone gathered their thought around what the commander of AEFNS had just said. Shortly after though, people started to rally up in the streets to protests. They all chanted the same thing "No to NACTO". Fearing a repeat of 4842 and 4857, Prime Minister Aregita deployed the police to the streets to deal with the protestors. As police started to arrive at the scenes, they started to face violence by the protestors. A protestor who decided to remain anonymous later said that they attacked the police as they were just enforcing Endralon's bidding. They also said that a big part of what fueled the protests was Endralon leaving Kundrati. They said that seeing how our supposed closest ally turned their back on us fueled many people to go out to the streets.

Protests began in Kasaema, but have now spread all throughout the nation. They are all against NACTO and have been surprisingly brutal against police officers. The different regional governments seeing how the protests have spread have now started arresting protestors and being more violent with them. Already five protestors have died, with more to come in the next few days. One of the most surprising arrests was of Senator Tazio Gomendio. He was at the front of protests in Arkham and is now under arrest in an undisclosed location.

With the nation in disarray, many other members of government other than Fomendio have jumped ship too, with the most notable being Foreign Affairs Secretary Lena Iovis, Internal Affairs Secretary Oidor Gamboa, and Head of Government Secretary Pauline Taylor. With Aregita's government collapsing and election in just 2 years time many say that Aregita will lose the FPS primary. Many point to Gomendio as next party leader, but that remains to be seen.

After winning a very close election in 4882, Martie Aregita has been facing her toughest term to date, as her approval rating is at 23% and protests have ravaged the streets for the past year and a half. Many attribute her victory in the election in 4882 to the fact that AEFNS's message had not been released yet. Following its release and the subsequent protests, she has been unable to govern. With both the general population and members within the government demanding her resignation, today she finally gave in in a press conference.

Compatriots, I come here before you to give an announcement. It pains me to have to do this, but it is clear that it is what the vast majority of the population wants. I am officially calling for internal primary elections to happen in six months. Following that election, there will be a general election for both the premiership and the Senate. I ask for the cooperation of the members of the UMP in the later. As for the primaries, I will not run for the candidature. Thank you, and best of luck to all candidates.

The announcement was received with widespread support and celebration. People took to the streets, but this time to celebrate. Many still say that Aregita took too long, but the vast majority of the population is just excited. The primaries will run with a brand new electoral system for the FPS. Ranked-choice voting will be used. This means that voters will rank their options on the ballot. As votes are counted, the candidate with fewer votes will be eliminated. Then, every one of their voters will have their second choice counted as a vote. This will continue until there are only 2 candidates left, or until one of the candidate achieves more than 50% of the vote.

Thus far, three candidates have announced their intentions of being the candidate. Lena Iovis, Pauline Taylor and Tazio Gomendio. Gomendio was released from prison just 3 months ago after tens of thousands protested against his arrest.

After a landslide victory in the FPS primaries, Tazio Gomendio has now been elected as Chairperson of the Social-Democratic Party (FPS). His opponents were Lena Iovis and Pauline Taylor. Many believed that Oidor Gamboa would run, but he announced that he will retire after the general elections. The election saw Gomendio take an astonishing 50.5% of the electoral votes, or 260. Many have attributed his win to how his arrest portrayed him as the leader of the anti-Aregita movement. Now that the internal FPS primary has been decided, general elections will be called in the coming weeks.

What does Gomendio's victory in the leadership mean for the Social-Democratic Party and Kundrati as a whole? Gomendio has been profoundly against Aregita ever since he was first elected for office in 4878. He believes in a more leftist economic policy. He has also bee one of the main opposers to NACTO. With an FPS victory in the general election almost certain, many wonder if Kundrati could be leaving the organisation. Leaving this organisation would mean turning our back on Endralon, who has been our closest ally for nearly a century. The population seem to support this, especially seeing how Endralon has already started pulling out of Kundrati. If we were to pull out of NACTO, it would mean that endralonian military bases here would shut down, and our own in Endralon would do the same.

Seeing how Kundrati is likely to leave NACTO and Endralon, there is a lot of speculation as to who Kundrati will turn to. The two most likely candidates seem to be Dorvik and Hutori. Most say it will be Hutori, especially seeing how they have already started investing in Kundrati.

After the "Kundrexit" bill passed this August, Kundrati officially left the Northeast Artanian Covenant Treaty Organisation. In order to ease the transition, as Kundrati NACTO representative Blas Arratibel explained, Kundrati would continue to contribute to the organisation's economic fund NAEF until the end of the current month. Now, the day in which we completely sever ties with NACTO is just two weeks away.

Back in August, we also began pulling Kundrati troops from bases in Davostan and Endralon. We also started giving smaller contributions to NAEF each month, in order to guarantee a more peaceful transition. Today, the last of these troops have been pulled out. All of the foreign troops stationed in Kundrati have now also pulled out of the country.

Now that we have left NACTO officially, what does this mean? Many have heard rumours of tightening relations with Dorvik or Hutori but nothing is certain at this point in time. Other rumours have come out that Kundrati could attempt to join the Northern Council, but many say that this could be a rash decision, especially with our NACTO departure so little time ago. There is also a lot of speculation regarding internal affairs. With Endralon's influence now basically gone, it is possible that many Zabalbeascoa era regulations could return. After seeing the rough century that Kundrati has endured since the Kundrati War of Secession broke out 100 years ago, many wonder if it could be appropriate to roll bak to Union-era. Some say that Kundrati might return to what it was in the 4760's, during Pius Annullinus's time as Consul, all the way back in 4756.

It remains to be seen what will happen, as the government and Tazio Gomendio have not shared any information on their plans for the nation.

Today a bill passed in Senate that will rollback several regulations imposed by previous administrations, particularly Martie Aregita's. These regulations sought to bring us closer to Endralon in economic terms. The following are the changes the bill proposes: A 10% increase on the tax of profits made by corporations, an increase in worker representation in boards from one third to two thirds, illegalisation of all cryptocurrencies in Kundrati, limiting advertisements to only ones that meet certain standards, a drop on the essential good tax of 11%, and, perhaps most important of all, a ban on any kind of stock exchange in Kundrati.

Following the attack nearly seven years ago, many wondered if the stock market would be shut down. After the departure from NACTO, experts saw this as the logical next step and were sure it was a matter of when it would happen. Now that the bill has passed, it has been announced that the Kundrati Stock Market will be completely shutting down in two months. It seems that the organisation deemed AEFNS has now achieved the goals they set 6 years ago. The stock market being shut down mean that now Kundrati has officially severed all ties with Endralon and NACTO, with the withdrawal from the Treaty of Kundarváros passing at the same time as Kundrexit.

With Endralon's influence now gone, it seems that Hutori is the nation to which Primo Ministro Gomendio will turn to for a major trade partner, especially since Hutori has already begun investing here in Kundrati. There is also talk of joining the Northern Council, but that seems unlikely, as Gomendio has said that he does not want to tangle Kundrati in "complicated alliances".

Today, Tazio Gomendio gave a shocking announcement on a press conference. He said that the New Popular Alliance, formerly Social Democratic Party and Socialist Worker's Party, will not contend in the coming 4892 general elections. The announcement came during a press conference following the annual party meeting, in which the internal members of the party voted for this to happen. On the conference, Gomendio explained the reasons for this.

Greetings my friends. Today I come with a sombre announcement. After an internal vote in which the result was of 177-85, it has been decided that the New Popular Alliance will not be running on the coming elections of 4892. We felt that the party has outlived its purpose and that extending its existence is pointless. The party was created 158 years ago by Nettuna Libitina, with the purpose of standing up for the ideals of socialism and defending the workers. Ever since the party has changed a great deal. We were responsible for the rise to power of one of the biggest dictators in Terra of this century, Urizar Zabalbeascoa, and caused a great deal of pain. Under the leadership of Martie Aregita and Pius Castus, the party took a massive shit to the right, in which workers were no longer the most important thing. We have betrayed our founder. This is no longer a party for the people, but a party in which political gain is the most important thing. I admit that I too am guilty of this. Because of this, after the withdrawal from current diplomatic treaties is completed, the party will be disbanded.

The announcement was received with shock. It had been true, however, that the party was losing popularity. In fact, the past election was the first time the party dipped below 80% since 4804. With many people shifting to the Union for a Popular Movement.
