Royal Hutorian Navy Scores Stunning Victory in the Sea of MaconEven as it faces an invasion of it's homeland, the Hutorians have proven they are willing to take the fight back to the enemy in the harshment possible terms, and while Kivonian forces attempt to push into Hutori their Navy faced a stunning and through defeat at the hands of the Royal Hutorian Navy.
Having already been planned for the rumored coming Operation Archangel, the Hutorian 1st, 5th and 6th Fleets had been stationed to lure out the main body of the Kivoanian Navy into a decisive engagement in the Sea of Macon, south of Davostan and Hutori. The plan had Task Force-14, a Liberty class Destroyer and a quartet of Bekenial class Frigates, push aggressively into Kivonian waters, luring out the Kivonian Republican Navy , near the Tip of Artania, off of the coast of Endralon in international waters. The Kivonian, confident from their earlier victory against Task Force-13, pursuring the small Hutorian battle group where the Royal Navy's Combined Operations Fleet, under the command of Vice Admiral Patrick Grant was ready for them. The Sixth Fleet, recently released from service in Keymon come up from the south, while the 1st Fleet came from the north and west, hemming in the main body of the Kivonian Republican Navy, and the 5th Fleet, came straight from the east, having made its way to the battle from Port Prosperity.
The Kivonians had been fed false intelligence that both 2nd, 3rd and 5th Fleets, head quartered on the east coast of Hutori had been seen in the arctic ocean, guarding the North Macon Passage, and while the majority of the Fifth Fleet remains with the eastern Fleet, the HMHS-Timothy Drumf and the HMHS-Empress Sarah IV, two of Hutori's mammoth aircraft Carriers, joined the already present HMHS-Arianna Woodbury of First Fleet and the HMHS-King Alexander of Sixth Fleet, containing the Kivonian Navy in a naval square. Kept hemmed in on all sides, the Royal Hutorian Navy rained hell down on the Kivonians from the air, as punishing flights of HF-35F Super Twisters performed strafing runs with anti-ship missiles, and a number of Sentinel class Submarines picked off attempting to retreat Kivonian vessels.
Kivonian Battleship going up in flamesWhile the Hutorians lost three Frigates, and a Destroyer with the feint, the absolute destruction of the greater part of the Kivonian Republican Navy gives Hutori and it's allies near absolutely Naval supremacy around Davostan, espceially if rumors hold true that the remaining elements of the Second and Fifth Fleets have joined with the Seventh Fleet, and began the passage around the North Macon Passage, to link up with the Dorvische Lieviean Sea Fleet.
While the situation on the ground is still critical, the Hutorian have proven that they are the masters of the waves.

Crown Prince Charles Perishes in Airstrikes, Galvanize Hutorians Forces to Hold the LineTragedy struck earlier today, as Crown Prince Charles, the Prince of Adelia, and a Major General in the Royal Marine Corps was killed, while he was organizing the defence the Harding River, and fighting a delayed actions with the 1st Marine Brigade. His Royal Highness Prince Charles had apparently defied orders to bring the 1st Marine Brigade further east and instead went north to evacuate civillians fleeing the advancing the Kivonian Army. Despite being outnumbered 4 to 1, the Marines of the 1st Marine Brigade fought on against the Kivonian 1st and 3rd Corps, delaying them long enough to detonate the bridges and allow Hutorian Army reinforcements to arrive en masse.
Marines of the 1st Marine Brigade holding the line against the Kivonian 1st CorpsThe death of the Crown Prince, while likely accidental, threw the Marines into a frenzy and they fought all the harder to not only fight off the Kivonian but throw them back over the bridgehead they had created as the opening elements of the 5th Infantry Division arrived on scene.
While the Kivonian were focusing on pushing towards Bekenial with everything they had they had failed to capture Axminister in the south, which held the 2nd Marine Brigade, 10,000 troops, but more importantly also the 1st and 3rd Armoured Divisions, numbering at 50,000 troops, and equipped with the immensely powerful Leopard 2A7H tanks, that begun a thrust straight up out of the south, up the Harding River, straight into the vulnerable Kivonian right flank. Under the command of Lieutenant General Mason Berrigan, the I Armoured Corps, having heard of Prince Charles death, rammed hard into the flank, taking few prisoners, instead focusing on trapping the invading Kivonian 1st and 3rd Corps in Adelia itself, and destroying it in a surrounded battle, similar to what the Hutorian Expeditionary Force in Telamon had already accomplished.

Hutorians Fight Back on All FrontsThe invasion of Hutori from two other fronts had not gone ignored by Hutorian High Command and the invasions into mountains Lagard, and prarie like Falristan had long been prepared for.
Kivonian 5th Corps, which had been pushing into Lagard faced off against two well prepared and grizzled Hutorian Divisions. These forces had been preparing for a defence of Hutori's central province, and so had been well prepared the Kivonian thrust. The Hutorian 7th Mountain Infantry Division and legendary 9th Airborne Division, known as "Woodbury's Helldivers" after their mythic commander, Major General Steven Woodbury. The 9th Airborne Division had been preparing for a combat jump into Davostan proper while the 7th Mountain Infantry Division, Hutori's most elite mountain warfare specialists, had long been ready to fight in the Macon Mountain Range. Totallying 50,000 well entrenched troops, and being given direct fire support from nearby General Samantha Carter Air Force Base, the Kivonian 5th Corps had come directly into a grinder that the Hutorians had been prepared to feed them to. 5th Corps struggled to advanced against well prepared positions, hidden on mountain ledges and valleys, and coming under withering fire from HF-35D Super Blizzards and HF-44A Maelstorms, which quickly wrestled the air from Kivonian air forces and brought down righteous fury from the air.
Soldiers of the 7th Mountain Infantry calling in AirstrikesThe most unfortunate invasion force, the 2nd and 4th Corps came directly into the wolverine's mouth as the invasion of Falristan put them heading towards Fort Carter. Fort Carter was the de-facto headquarters of the Hutorian Army, where their primary training facility was, and by an unfortunate twist of fate, where the Hutorians had been preparing their own invasion force of Davostan. 2nd and 4th Corps, came directly into the path of Hutori's Northern Army Command, consisting of 4th, 5th and 6th Armoured Divisions, the 10th Mechanized Infantry Division and the 14th and 21st Infantry Divisions, some 150,000 troops, with more troops arriving by the day. The second the Kivonian forces had come across the border, General Leah Cunningham, the newly appointed commander of all of Hutori's forces in the north, unleashed his three potent armoured divisions, to plunge directly into the invading 40,000 troops, fully intending on enveloping them, wiping them out, and then pushing straight across the border herself.
In the air, Hutori's air power, while take by surprise by the sheer amount of aircraft the Kivonian threw into the fight, they rallied quickly, bringing in squadrons from the east and north, and fought back with the highly advanced HF-35D and HF-44As that gave the Royal Hutorian Air Force the indomitable reputation that it had long since earned in the air of battle. Kivonian aircraft were swatted out of the air, while Hutorian JAS-39AS performing harsh strafing runs, and once Hutori owned the skies again, they would unleashed the deadly HB-0 Ghosts and HB-22 Emancipator Bombers, to level Davostan proper.
