This week, the Hutorian Proletarian Party (HPP) staged their first ever demonstration on the sides of streets in Adelia since their founding nearly 40 years ago. According to the party, more than 100,000 members from the Hutorian Proletarian Guard (the party's paramilitary wing) participated in the demonstration. Uniformed party members lined the sides of streets holding the signature red flags, using care not to block pedestrians or traffic. Gardener and in absentia politician Alfred Putnam (64), who started the HPP at the age of 23, stated that the purpose of the demonstration was "to remind the people that communism is not a dead dream":
Alfred Putnam wrote:This demonstration is for those who mistakenly believe communism is a dead dream. They will continue to see the red flag until it either flies above them or until the parasites drain the blood of the last worker in the name of some vague notion like "progress". In a world where the few can fulfill their greed, while the many must go without their basic needs, you would think the solution would be more obvious. Tell me, what do we need owners for? What exactly does an owner produce? Furthermore, why must the owner be able to live in luxury while his "capital", that produces his wealth, struggles to get by? We serve as the answer to these questions. The alternative to greed is compassion, fairness, hard-work for all and from all. We propose a system entirely managed by those who actually produce physical material. It is a system where nobody is permitted to squander resources. We do not promote any absurd notions of absolute equality. This is not an ideology about giving every student the same grade, it's about putting the teacher in charge of the school, the steelworker in charge of the factory, the farmer in charge of the farm. It's about the self-determination of the working class.
The only thing that truly doesn't work in this world is the fat parasite that lives off the combined wealth of his workers.
