The last government left the people of this nation is a situation of stagnation and lacked any sense of national pride or desire for improvement. This administration will look to end that, with the intention to create a true Age of prosperity in our great country. We will help our economy grow, investing in public services and hutorian businesses. We will put our own citizens first, ensuring that they have the best opportunities for their future. We will endeavour to support those abroad that need it most.
Fellow Hutorians,
Today I announce that I will not be running in the upcoming Presidential election. Having served as your President for 5 terms, I feel the time for my retirement has come.
I am proud to be passing the torch on to our Parliamentary Leader Dylan Jourdain II. He will be running for President this year and I hope he can earn your support.
It has been an amazing ride. I was first elected to serve the people of Isle of Sutton Eastern Shore in 4593. If you had told me 48 years ago that I would one day serve 5 terms as your President, I wouldn't have believed you. This journey has been incredible and I want to thank each and every Hutorian for this opportunity. I'd also like to thank all the Members of Parliament and party leaders I've had the honour of serving alongside, as well as every single party staffer and volunteer who made this all possible. Lastly, I'd like to thank my wife Sherry and my children Jack, Susan and Ethan for always being by my side.
Thank you Hutori.
Sincerely,
Eugene Manning
''This is a truly eiting moment for our party. After many of sinking into obscurity, the NPP is now ready to completly change our way. We will change entirely our plateform and our image. We will, for the first time in our history, conduct an open election for the position of leader''
''''We must face it, out country in a state of complete chaos right now. I really believe that our party has a role to play in stopping this chaos and bring some reason to the parliament. We need to stop the right of political extremisim from all side of the political speectrum
'' For now, we have accepted to work with NWP and the Consevative in order to form a stable governement. Of course, we share very little idea with both of these parties but if they are willing to negotiate on some things, we are too. It is also very important to note that the core ideas of the National Progress Party are not tradable, if we feel like ou integrity and or beliefs are threatened in this governement, we will leave it.''
The Monarchy has long been one the most stable forms of government that has Hutori has ever known. It has been under Monarchs that Hutori has gone through war, strife and conflict and come out on top. When we flatter into Republicanism we fall into constant political fights over who gets the right to live at 24 Orange Avenue. This needs to stop. The Great Compromise, which gave us our Viceregal form of government has served us well and will continue to serve as well and we, the Liberal Royalists, will continue to defend the Monarchy against those that would tear it down.
I agreed and still agree with many aspects of the platform. I do not believe in Conservatives cuts, or attempting to slash the government down to size, or attacking our individual human rights. But the Socialists are wrong about the Monarchy. It has offered stability and helped us avoid tyrants unlike when Republicans have had control. I've wrestled with this since I was elected and I'm happy and glad I can officially come out as a Monarchist and defend The Institution that makes our country great.
“Defence spending in the Commonwealth has for years been shrinking and had for the past several years reached a critical point where we could no longer afford to keep the men and women in uniform that we once did. In addition, the requirement for the Department of National Defence to maintain Crown Corporations to supply us following their nationalization as also hampered our operating budget. Further, our shrinking number of international bases, and Hutori’s general disengagement from international affairs, both diplomatic and military, have meant that we do not require the Armed Forces that we once did.
Subsequently, in light of the mass reduced budget, I have completed a number of reforms over the past several years that have seen the size of our Armed Forces reduced, in all three service branches. This has been one of the most painful experiences in my entire military life, as this as meant I have had to, with the permission of Her Imperial Majesty the Empress, release over 200,000 men and women who faithfully served their country from military service. These reforms, while necessary, are decisions I had hoped I would never have to make. In light of this, as 200,000 men and women have been released from service, I to will be ending my service to my country. I have tendered my resignation and Commission within the Royal Armed Forces to both the Minister of National Defence and Her Imperial Majesty as Supreme Commander in Chief of the Commonwealth’s Armed Forces, a resignation that has been accepted.
Thank you.”
“While we have had fewer resources and personnel with which to work with, my first task is making sure Hutori can defend itself and her interests abroad, and making sure the Armed Forces of our great nation, are at their peak of military preparedness for the reality we find ourselves in. Although we are receiving more money from Parliament this White Power will create the template in case military spending isn’t maintained and we can avoid the painful cuts that have had to have been made in the past several years.”
"For years, decades really, government after government has ignored our armed forces. I wish there was more I could have done to prevent these drastic cutbacks, however we will be insuring that service members who we have been forced to let go will be compensated and helped with their transition out of the service life, and there will be new roles created for those who would like to return to the service as our modernization and expansion process happens."
"For a year I campaigned for President, during that time I spoke to Hutorians and specifically members of the Conservative Party, and the issue they identified to me as being of the utmost importance is the preservation of the Hutorian monarchy. With the rise of radical leftists in this country, we need to step up and actually fight for the monarchy. While the Liberals claim to be monarchists and then throw that away for power, we will actually stand up and defend the throne."
