Hutori celebrates arrival of Dundorf’s Ambassador, and establishes Embassy in Dundorf

February 16, 4978- A large celebration was thrown in Bekenial to celebrate the arrival of the Dundorfian Ambassador. Patriarch Joshua Osborne personally greeted the Ambassador and gave him a tour of Hutori’s Capitol.

February 18, 4978- Ambassador Richard Williams’s plane touched down in Dunburg. There he meet Reichsprasident Herrmann and ReichsKanzler Rosenthal. The next day Hutori’s Foreign Ministry announced that it is prepared to begin negotiations on the idea of a non-aggression pact and a trade agreement.

The Salvationist Church of Hutori officially creates the Handmaid Program

With the passing of the Handmaid Act the Holy Republic of Hutori has officially recognized the Handmaids. The Handmaids are a special class of women within the Salvationist Church of Hutori that are dedicated to childbearing, family management, child education, and religious education. They shall be made up of women between the ages of 18-25 who volunteered for the program after they graduated from the Salvationist Girls Fellowship. More information on the organization of the Handmaids shall be released by the Salvationist Church at a further date.

Monarchist Party Makes Big Gains in First Election

The Monarchist Party had a big showing in it's first election since being founded. The party, who ran on a centrist platform that centred on restoring both the constitutional monarchy as well as personal freedoms that have been stripped under Salvationist rule, made all of its gains in Adelia and Roccato, winning landslide majority governments in both provinces.

The party says it is excited by the great show of support in those provinces, and is ready to be an effective opposition over the next 4 years.

The Salvationist Church of Hutori announces plans for Church operated schools and youth organizations.

With the full implementation of the Handmaid Program the Salvationist Church has announced that it shall be implementing a plan that will be greatly expand the Church’s education program and Salvationist children’s access to Salvationist orientated education. Under the new education program all Salvationist families are eligible to enroll their children into Salvationist Church schools. The Church will also be expanding and reorganizing its two major youth organizations, the “Salvationist Girls Fellowship” and the “Salvationist Boys League”.

The SGF shall be managed by the Handmaids and shall be focused on teaching girls between the ages of 12 and 17 childcare, home economics, Salvationist customs, and religious studies.

The SBL shall be managed by the Chosen and shall be focused on teaching boys in the same age range Salvationist customs for men, outdoor activities, citizenship, firearms safety and training, household management, professional skills ( carpentry, gunsmithing, etc), and religious studies.

The Salvationist Church hopes that the Handmaids and the Chosen shall be able to provide guidance and support, and serve as role models for Hutori’s youth.

As Next Election Draws Near, Monarchists Begin Unveiling Platform

The Monarchist Party today unveiled the first pilar of it's platform, with the next election just over a year away. The Monarchists are keen on restoring the personal freedoms that have been stripped under Salvationist rule. Leader Marcel Houston said his party will put forward a serious plan to Bring Back Hutori, and that begins with his plan to Return Personal Freedoms.

Hutori has a long history as a nation where freedom reigns supreme, where one can choose how to live their lives as they please.
- A Monarchist government will remove the Salvationist Church's status as the official Church of the state. The Church has no role to play in the governance of our nation.
- We will allow all Hutorians to once again serve in the Hutorian Armed Forces, it will be a criminal offense to deny an applicant based on race, gender or sexual orientation. We will also extend this to all federally regulated industries and public services to ensure no Hutorian is denied a job based on their race, gender or sexual orientation.
- We will restore a woman's right to choose to have an abortion. Legal, regulated abortions will save thousands of lives every year, both of mothers who currently die due to there being no medical emergency provision, and of mothers who would otherwise choose to go underground to receive an abortion.

Salvationist Church announces new hospital, healthcare, and adoption programs

Today the Salvationist Church of Hutori announced in a official press release that the Medical Service Department of the Salvationist Church shall open a dozen new hospitals throughout Hutori over the next eight to ten years. Two of the hospitals will focus on cancer research and treatment, four hospitals will be children’s hospitals, and the rest will be standard hospitals. The hospitals will be open to all Hutorians, both Salvationists and non-Salvationists alike. All expenses for surgical operations, physical therapy, and other treatment options shall be paid for by the Salvationist Church.

The Salvationist Church also announced that it will be working more closely with the Department of Social Services to help children who have been put up for adoption to find new families. It will also be starting a program to aid single and expecting mothers with medical expenses, childcare, and education. The Church hopes that this program will be able to help protect vulnerable mothers from being pressured into aborting their children. But the Church has voiced its worries that Anti-Salvationist groups may try to pressure and manipulate women into pursuing abortions.

Monarchists Announce Plan to Return Constitutional Monarchy

Under a Monarchist government, the Hutorian Royal Family will be invited to return to the Hutorian throne under a constitutional monarchy.
- The new constitution will once again enshrine the rights of the Mashacara nations.
- It will ensure a stable government, where no single person or church can dictate government policy.
- It will enshrine equal rights for all Hutorians, regardless of race, gender or sexual orientation.
- It will include a clause preventing governments from running deficits or surpluses greater than 20% of overall spending without a 2/3rds vote of parliament to ensure Hutorians are never overtaxed, or run into mountains of debt.
- It will also amend the current model of electoral districting by returning to a system where districts are drawn by population, while still maintaining strong representation for small provinces.

Our Plan to Return the Surplus to Hutorians

For too long, the Hutorian government has drastically overtaxed its citizens. With our surplus representing nearly half of our revenues, it's time to return that money to hardworking Hutorians, and a Monarchist government will do just that.
- Through the Hutorian Worker's Benefit, Hutorian workers earning less than 50,000 Lira per year will recieve a montly payment of up to 250 Lira. This will put up to 3000 Lira per year back into the pockets of Hutori's hardest working citizens. (Estimated 90,000,000,000 Lira annual cost)
- We will increase the Hutori Child Benefit by up to 2,000 Lira per child, per year for families with household income under 75,000 Lira per year. (Estimated 60,000,000,000 Lira annual cost)
- We will eliminate the tax on essential goods, putting more than 45,000,000,000 Lira back into the pockets of Hutorians each year.
- In all, we will return approximately 195,000,000,000 Lira to hardworking Hutorians and their families.

Houston to Step Down as Monarchist Leader



Monarchist Leader Marcel Houston announced today he would be stepping down as leader of the party once a leadership election is held to choose his successor.

In just 2 elections, the party, under Houston's leadership, has gone from holding no seats in the National Assembly to holding 83 across 4 of Hutori's 5 provinces. With the party in a solid position, Houston says that now is the right time to hand the reigns to a new leader who can bring fresh ideas and give the party a good shot at finally ending Salvationist rule.
