MacKenzie Dismissed Telamon & Trigunian Claims "Foolish"Hutorian Minister of International Trade and Industry Beth MacKenzie has dismissed all Trigunian and Telan claims of Hutorian overfishing in Telamon waters as "foolish."
Minister of International Trade & Industry Beth MacKenzieBeth MacKenzie wrote:These claims by the Telamonese and Trigunian Government are absolute foolish. Hutorian fishermen follow the same set of rules as the Telamon fishermen to our southeast; applying for licences for the local governments during the designated times they need to, and follow whatever quotas that the local governments themselves have put in place. If there is a shortage of fish in Telan waters, I would advise Telamon officials to look internally at their own quotas and policies.
A spokesperson for Minister MacKenzie confirmed that the Hutorian Ministry of Trade & Industry performed an investigation and found no fishermen, whether independent or attached to one of Hutori's powerful fishing conglomerates like Clear River, broke any local laws. The investigation also noted that Hutorian fishermen were more likely to sell their catches in Telamon thanks to a lower Corporate Tax Rate rather then bring them up to face the stringent standards and taxes imposed on Hutori on foreign foodstuffs.

Minister of Defence Conrad to Visit LuthoriMinister of National Defence Matthew Conwar had announced he will be visiting Fort Orange on the tails of Queen-Empress Sarah IV's own Royal Visit for a talk with his Luthori counterparts.
Hutori and Luthori have immense shared history and now a shared Monarch. It is time for us to begin coordination of our defence and security policies and plans so we can best assist one another, both in the framework of the Imperial Commonwealth, but also within the greater context of the Northern Council
Hutorian and Luthorian forces recently vote side by side during the War in Narikton against the Malivians. While not as seemless as Kazullian and Hutorian military efforts have become, it was noted by onsite commanders that the similarities in command structures and tactics, and the push for a joint command structure and general staff between the member states of the Northern Council could allow truly seemless command of any single Northern Council Commander over a vast and immensely powerful military coalition; the Commonwealth of Hutori, Federal Republic of Kazullia, Kingdom of Dorvik and Holy Luthori Empire are considered four of Terra's most powerful militarized nations and together are considered one of the most powerful military coalitions in Terra's modern history.
Minister Conrad also hinted that a new Military Expansion and Modernization Plan would be hitting the floor of Parliament soon. He offered few details stating only. "Hutori was one Terra's most powerful nation in the Northern Hemisphere.. it time for us to re-realize that."
The Hutorian Armed Forces have become immensely busy since the turn of the century. After the incumbency of General Driscoll, the so called Driscoll Military Doctrine has become gospel within Hutorian military circles, which emphaized constant vigilance, training and drills to the point that the entirety of the Hutorian Armed Forces could potentionally be brought down on a single foe, with little to no warning. This has been combined with joint drills with Dorvik, Kazullia and now soon Luthori, and constant domestic drills by the Air Force and Navy, focusing on northern conditions. The Ministry of Defence has constantly denied that these exercises and preparations are aimed at any single nation or entity merely that they are "preparing for any and all contingencies."
