ULTIM'ORA: CONDANNA PER LA HYPERION E SOLIDARIETÀ PER HUTORI
Il Governo per mezzo del Ministro degli Esteri ha espresso tutta la sua vicinanza a Bekenial e si espone sulla crisi in Dalibor


ROMULA - Questa mattina il Ministro degli Esteri Filippo Di Vittorio si è presentato davanti ai giornali convocati al Ministero per esprimere ufficialmente la posizione dell'Istalia sulla recente crisi internazionale con epicentro Dalibor.
Il Ministro ha toccato i principali punti di dibattito sul piano internazionale, ovvero la situazione politica ed umanitaria in Dalibor, l'attività della Hyperion Corporation e quindi il duro scontro avvenuto tra il Governo di Bekenial e la multinazionale, questo l'estratto della conferenza:

L'Istalia vuole prima di tutto esprimere tutta la sua solidarietà al Governo Hutoriano riaffermando la preminenza delle istituzioni civili e politiche e quella delle Leggi dello Stato, di fronte alle quali nessuno è esentato dal rispettarle. Il Governo Istaliano, dunque, riconosce il Governo Hutoriano come pienamente in diritto di determinare chi possa o meno entrare nel territorio hutoriano ed ovviamente quali organizzazioni o aziende vi possano operare. La detenzione di dipendenti della Hyperion Corporation non può che essere giustificata pienamente data la violazione di una direttiva del Governo Hutoriano, precisamente l'ingresso non autorizzato in Hutori e resistenza alle stesse disposizioni del Governo.

Detto questo, il Governo Istaliano non può che condannare le azioni altamente lesive della stabilità e della pace della comunità internazionale condotte dalla Hyperion Corporation, specialmente le sue dirette, chiare ed ovvie responsabilità per la degenerazione della situazione politica, economica e sociale di Dalibor e dunque l'aperta totale mancanza di rispetto per i più basilari principi non solo del diritto internazionale ma anche del diritto particolare nazionale. Queste azioni non possono che spingerci a mutare la considerazione per la Hyperion Corporation che da multinazionale maliviana rischia di venire classificata come un'organizzazione criminale transnazionale colpevole di innumerevoli violazioni della sovranità nazionale di più di un paese, dotata di strumenti militari irregolari con i quali sta portando avanti con la forza la propria agenda economica come anche geopolitica.
Deploriamo inoltre il sostegno dato da alcune nazioni alla Hyperion Corporation e la totale mancanza di ragionevolezza e rispetto da parte dei loro Governo per il diritto internazionale e per i loro tentativi di ridurre le leggi degli stati e quelle internazionali stabilite tramite organizzazioni sovranazionali, convenzioni ed accordi bi o mulilaterali e quindi dalle millenarie convenzioni comuni.

A nome del Governo Istaliano, quindi, voglio personalmente invitare anche in questa sede gli amici del Governo di Malivia a prendere seriamente in considerazione l'adozione di misure atte ad intervenire nei confronti della Hyperion Corporation che è e resta a tutti gli effetti una persona giuridica soggetta al diritto maliviano. Ciò potrebbe a ragione spingere nazioni terze a considerare il Governo Maliviano come responsabile delle azioni perpetruate dalla Hyperion contro il diritto internazionale, in special modo potrebbero appellarsi alla mancanza di azioni ed interpretarla come forma di favoreggiamento.
Ma non vogliamo spaventare il Governo Maliviano, piuttosto vogliamo invitarli a riflettere sul ruolo dei Governi e d'aziende, sulle responsabilità ed i doveri che le seconde hanno nei confronti dei primi, espressione più concreta della sovranità nazionale e della loro responsabilità di fronte alla comunità internazionale. Abbiamo conosciuto Malivia come una giovane nazione emergente che ormai può essere considerata come una potenza regionale, siamo lieti di aver potuto in parte contribuire a ciò perché abbiamo fiducia in Malivia e nel sistema democratico Maliviano. Ma proprio perché ci rivolgiamo ad un Governo democratico che lo invitiamo ad adempiere al più importante dovere dei Governi, tutelare l'interesse dei cittadini e della nazione nel rispetto dei principi democratici in patria come anche all'estero.

Infatti, l'Istalia è intervenuta recentemente al Congresso Mondiale sulla crisi in Dalibor proprio condannando la rude presa di potere da parte della Hyperion Corporation tramite i suoi rappresentanti ed affiliati in Dalibor i quali, invece di tutelare gli interessi della loro nazione hanno deciso di procedere con un atto in totale violazione del principio di sovranità nazionale, tentando nello specifico di alienare la sovranità nazionale di Dalibor in favore della Hyperion Corporation, un atto dunque da considerarsi semplicemente come invalido e nullo.
Condanniamo dunque le dichiarazioni da parte di quegli stessi rappresentanti dalla dubbia autorità che si stanno tentando di impedire a migliaia di rifugiati in fuga dalla guerra di poter lasciare la loro nazione, indicati piuttosto come criminali, una chiara misura di repressione e persecuzione politica da parte delle attuali autorità di Dalibor.
Hutori e New Endralon/Kizenia hanno già risposto alle minacce del Primo Ministro di Dalibor in modo fermo e risoluto, risposte che l'Istalia condivide ed appoggia prima di tutto per evitare una sanguinosa crisi umanitaria, dunque per garantire la sicurezza delle navi che da tutto il mondo attraversano le acque daliboriane e per difendere la sovranità stessa di Indrala su quelle stesse acque.

Proprio ad Indrala il Governo Istaliano vuole offrire tutto il suo sostegno per affrontare i flussi di rifugiati che sempre più numerosi stanno sbarcando sulle coste settentrionali, pronti ad offrire assistenza finanziaria come anche logistica.
Il Presidente della Repubblica Maddaloni mi ha autorizzato a dare ufficiale annuncio di un suo imminente viaggio in Ti'an accogliendo con piacere l'invito ricevuto dal Governo di Indrala, un incontro che ovviamente si concentrerà sulla crisi in Dalibor ma che ci auguriamo possa avvicinare ancor più due di quelle che ad oggi sono considerate come le più grandi democrazie del mondo.
Vogliamo comunque anticipare che l'Istalia si unisce ad altre nazioni del Consiglio di Sicurezza che vogliono farsi promotrici di una soluzione della crisi che preveda l'organizzazione sotto la supervisione del Congresso Mondiale di elezioni politiche libere e democratiche per dare modo di esprimersi all'unica voce degna di rispetto, ovvero la volontà del popolo di Dalibor.
Devo però precisare che per l'Istalia il ritiro delle forze militari e paramilitari della Hyperion Corporation da Dalibor e l'ufficiale riconoscimento della nullità dell'accordo conosciuto come "vendita di Dalibor", saranno fortemente pretese come premessa imprescindibile per l'organizzazione delle suddette elezioni.
Scarichiamo invece qualsiasi proposta in favore di un referendum atto unicamente a riconoscere il diritto o meno di un'azienda straniera a decidere del destino di un'intera nazione, soprattutto quando la posizione di questa entità giuridica rischia di divenire, come annunciato, quella di un'organizzazione criminale.

Ci auguriamo sinceramente che questa crisi possa trovare una rapida conclusione invitando tutte le parti coinvolte a considerare prima di tutto il bene del popolo di Dalibor.

BREAKING: CONDAMNATION FOR HYPERION AND SOLIDARITY FOR HUTORI
The Government through the Foreign Minister expressed all its closeness to Bekenial and exposes itself on the crisis in Dalibor

ROMULA - This morning, Foreign Minister Filippo Di Vittorio met the journalists convened at the Ministry to officially express the position of Istalia on the recent international crisis with epicenter Dalibor.
The Minister has touched on the main international debate points, namely the political and humanitarian situation in Dalibor, the activity of Hyperion Corporation, and hence the fierce confrontation between the Bekenial's Government and the multinational, this is the extract of the conference:

Istalia firstly wants to express all its solidarity to the Hutorian Government, reaffirming the primacy of civil and political institutions and that of the Laws of the State, before which no one is exempted from respecting them. The Istalian Government thus recognizes the Hutorian Government as fully entitled to determine who can or cannot enter the Hutorian territory and of course which organizations or companies can operate. The deteintion of employees of Hyperion Corporation can only be fully justified because of a violation of a Hutorian Government's directive, namely the unauthorized entry into Hutori and the resistance to the provisions of the Government.

Said that, the Istalian Government can only condemn the highly detrimental actions of the stability and peace of the international community conducted by Hyperion Corporation, especially its direct, clear and obvious responsibility for the degeneration of Dalibor's political, economic and social situation, and hence the total lack of respect for the most basic principles not only of international law but also of particular national law. These actions can only lead us to change the consideration we have for the Hyperion Corporation which from a malivian multinationals are likely to be classified as a transnational criminal organization guilty of countless violations of national sovereignty in more than one country, equipped with irregular military instruments with which it is by pursuing its economic agenda as well as geopolitical force.
We also regret the support given by some nations to the Hyperion Corporation and the total lack of reasonableness and respect by their Government for international law and their attempts to reduce the laws of states and the international ones established through supranational organizations, conventions and bi or mulilaterals agreements and thus from the millennial common conventions.

On behalf of the Istalian Government, therefore, I personally also want to invite the dear Maliva's friends to take seriously into account the adoption of measures to intervene against Hyperion Corporation, which is and remains in all respects a legal person subject to Malivian law. This could reasonably encourage third countries to consider the Malivian Government as responsible for Hyperion's actions against international law, in particular they might appeal the lack of action and interpret it as a form of aid.
But we do not want to frighten the Malivian Government, rather we want to invite them to reflect on the role of governments and companies, on the responsibilities and duties that the latters have towards the formers, the most concrete expression of the national sovereignty, and thus their responsibility towards the international community. We have known Malivia as a young emerging nation that can now be considered as a regional power, we are happy to have contributed to this because we trust in Malivia and in the Malivian democratic system. But precisely because we are talking to a democratic government that we invite it to fulfill the most important duty of the governments: protect the interests of their citizens and nations in respect of the democratic principles at home as well as abroad.

Indeed, Istalia has recently intervened in the World Congress on the crisis in Dalibor precisely condemning the rude takeover of power by Hyperion Corporation through its representatives and affiliates in Dalibor, who instead of safeguarding the interests of their nation have decided to proceed with an act in total violation of the principle of national sovereignty, attempting in particular to alienate Dalibor's national sovereignty in favor of Hyperion Corporation, an act therefore to be considered simply null and void.
We therefore condemn the statements made by those representatives with questionable authority which are trying to prevent thousands of refugees fleeing the war from leaving their nation, blamed instead as criminals, a clear measure of political repression and persecution by part of the current authorities of Dalibor.
Hutori and New Endralon/Kizenia have already responded to Prime Minister Dalibor's threats firmly and resolutely, responses that Istalia shares and supports first and foremost to avoid a bloody humanitarian crisis, therefore to ensure the safety of ships from all over the world which crosses the Daliborian waters and to defend then Indrala's sovereignty over those same waters.

Just right to Indralia, the Istalian Government wants to offer all its support to face the increasing number of refugees flowing into the northern coasts, ready to offer financial as well as logistics assistance.
The President of the Republic Maddaloni has authorized me to announce an upcoming trip to Tian'an, welcoming the invitation received from the Government of Indrala, a meeting that obviously will focus on the crisis in Dalibor but we also hope it will be an opportunity to brought closer even more two of the nations that are considered to be the greatest democracies in the world today.
However, we want to anticipate that Istalia joins other nations of the Security Council who want to be promoters of a crisis solution that includes the organization under the supervision of the World Congress of free and democratic political elections to make express the only voice worthy of respect, namely the will of the people of Dalibor.
However, I must underline that Istalia will be strongly demand the withdrawal of the military and paramilitary forces of the Hyperion Corporation by Dalibor and the official recognition of the nullity of the agreement commonly known as "Dalibor's sale" as indispensable premises for the organization of the mentioned elections.
Instead, we reject any proposal in favor of a referendum that is intended solely to recognize or not the right of a foreign company to decide on the fate of an entire nation, especially when the position of this legal person is likely to become, as announced, the one of a criminal organization.

We sincerely hope that this crisis can find a quick conclusion inviting all the parties involved to consider first of all the good of Dalibor's people.

National Secretary of ULD, Agostino Baldassare and PNP Leader Luciana Vespa spotted spending a common vacation on the beaches of Sarregna



It is August 4293, the east coast of Sarregna is one of the places to be in this hot summer month as the cool breeze and refreshing water combine to form a beautiful summer experience. That is what the unofficial couple of Istalian politics, Luciana Vespa and Agostino Baldassare probably also thought in the moment when they were spotted by paparazzi embracing in front of the sun set.

Whilst PNP Leader Vespa is officially in Sarregna to meet with supporters and the governor, as the PNP won the region, this visit 'Accidentally' coincided with the ULD Leader Baldassare's official holiday vacation. This accident is now the main rumor of the press and we seek confirmation as by now, this relationship between such public figures is the worst kept secret in Istalia.

It's official- the ULD national secretary and PNP leader are together!

We must post a short communicate; it has been confirmed by Baldassare himself that he is with the PNP leader, Luciana Vespa.
He did that by posting a picture to a social media site of the two kissing.

As fast as we could, we wanted to ask both party leaders about it; neither responed. Earlier today, as we spotted Mr Baldassare in the parliamentary halls, we run up to him, as did one of the biggest crowds in the history of Istalian journalism. The man responded with a calm yes, and with a wide smile, but we were soon split by his guards and Mr Salazar.

After the works of the parliament ended, we approached him yet again and asked the question. He confirmed the information yet again, and declared his love for the leader of the nationalistic party and announced that he is "secretly" planning to engage with Vespa later this year.

ROMULA - Il Ministro delle Finanze Cesaro ha presentato la sua riforma dell'Imposta sul reddito alla Camera, presentandola davanti ai Deputati elogiando l'ampio alleggerimento fiscale di cui godranno gli istaliani, stimato a circa 7 miliardi di LIS e presentato praticamente come un importante regalo per la cittadinanza
La manovra è stata presentata a poche settimane dall'approvaizone del nuovo Budget nazionale, anch'esso aspramente criticato dall'opposizione, soprattutto LP ed UVP, con i primi a denunciare l'ennesima sfoltita ad un budget già eccessivamente snello, che ha interessato soprattutto sanità, servizi sociali, istruzione ed infrastrutture, ed i secondi che hanno invece sottolineato addirittura l'inutilità di piccoli incrementi per il Ministero degli Affari Agroalimentari e quello dell'Industria ed il Commercio. Per finanziare cosa? Chiede l'opposizione di fronte alla stampa nazionale, quando lo Stato non ha aziende od enti pubblici economici, l'economia è ampiamente deregolamentata ed il settore agricolo da tempo ricopre un'importanza marginale per l'economia istaliana.
Proprio durante lo sessione della Camera dedicata alla dichiarazione di voto da parte dei gruppi politici, è arrivata la più veemente ed aspra critica mossa contro la riforma, arringata dai seggi di Libertà e Progresso dal Capo Gruppo Stefano Romulani, un attacco che ha toccato uno per uno quasi tutti i partiti al Governo, accusati oltre che di populismo anche di stare tradendo coloro che hanno dichiarato di voler tutelare di più.
Questo un estratto delle dichiarazioni di Romulani:

Il Ministro lo considera davvero un regalo per TUTTI gli istaliani? Noi vediamo solo un regalo enorme per le classi più agiate, con un ulteriore spostamento dell'onere del bilancio nazionale sulle classi più disagiate! È sconcertante notare le capacità di calcolo del Ministro che, nonostante il diverso trattamento sui tagli, decide di considerare il totale e di dividere in maniera uguale.
La realtà è che le persone che già oggi fanno più sforzi per arrivare a fine mese beneficeranno minimamente di questi "tagli per tutti", mentre quelli che già oggi hanno più, avranno ancora di più e saranno i veri vincitori di questa misura fiscale.
Sempre più sconcertante è vedere il Partito degli Agricoltori, che dice di difendere gli interessi degli agricoltori, che solo pochi anni fa stavano difendendo gli agricoltori, indicandoli come una classe impoverita che necessita di protezione e di sussidi. Ben fatto! I vostri cari agricoltori saranno tra quelli che avranno beneficiato meno da questi tagli. Evidentemente gli "agricoltori" che rappresentate sono i latifondisti e le aziende agroalimentari.
E il PNP, così orgoglioso del suo populismo... il partito vicino ai semplici lavoratori infaticabili istaliani, alle famiglie ed alle loro piccole attività di provincia e così via, a cui state semplicemente dicendo: "scegliendo a chi tagliare di più tra te e quelli che hanno persino dieci volte i tuoi averi, noi scegniamo te! " Complimenti...
Parlate di tassazione progressiva applicando in verità un principio regressivo per i tagli! Sapete molto bene come vendere fumo!

Alessandro Eugenio di Nacosia-Rohan ha ribadito tutta l'opposizione del partito per la riforma ed anzi ha aggiunto che l'Istalia è vicina ad un baratro, un baratro che porterà solo a prevaricazione economica di chi ha più ai danni di chi a meno, con uno stato sempre più sottile ed assente e con sempre meno risorse, che preferisce colpire anziani, famiglie numerose, malati, disabili, disoccupati e quindi le future generazioni e le loro speranze per una educazione di alta qualità, accessibile ed inclusiva, per favorire oggi, nell'effimero e praticamente già passato breve periodo, proprio chi ha meno bisogno di sostegno economico.
Libertà e Progresso ed i sindacati nazionali, vicini come non avveniva dai tempi del PSLI, grazie anche alla mediazione del Partito Laburista, purtroppo già scioltosi per dissidi interni dovuti ai risultati elettorali, hanno annunciato in serata che sarà presto indetto uno sciopere generale contro il governo ed ad una nazione che lavora solo per pochi privilegiati.
Infine i giornalisti hanno chiesto al leader di LP di commentare la recente rivelazione della relazione tra i rispettivi leader di PNP e ULD, ma di Nacosia-Rohan ha semplicemente detto: sono contento per loro ma come vedete c'è ben altro di cui parlare!

LP balsts heavily the Government Tax Plan
Liberal Progressists denounce the tax cuts as harmful for the less well-off classes, Stefano Romulani: "You know very well how to sell smoke"

ROMULA - Minister of Finance Cesaro presented his income tax reform to the Chamber, presenting it in front of the Deputies praising the large tax relief enjoyed by Istalians, estimated at around 7 billion LIS and presented virtually as a major gift for the citizenship.
The measure has been submitted a few weeks after the approval of the new National Budget, which was also severely criticized by the opposition, especially by LP and UVP, with the first ones who denounced another reduction of a budget that was already overly slim, which interested health care, social services, education and infrastructure, and the latter who have even underlined the uselessness of the small increases for the Ministry of Agri-Food Affairs and for the one of Industry and Commerce. To fund what? asks the opposition in the face of the national press, when the state does not have companies or public economic entities, the economy is largely deregulated and the agricultural sector has long played a marginal role for the Istalian economy.
Just during the session of the Chamber dedicated to the declaration of vote by part of the political groups, came the most vehement and harsh criticism against the reform, addressing by the seats of Liberty and Progress by the Whip Stefano Romulani, an attack which touched one by one almost all parties into the government, accused not only of populism but also of betraying those who they said to want protect more.
This is an excerpt from the Romulan statements:

Does the Minister really consider this as a gift for ALL Istalians? We see only a huge gift for the most prosperous classes, with a further shift in the burden of the national budget on the most disadvantaged classes! It is disconcerting to note the calculating capabilities of the Minister who, despite the different treatment of cuts, decides to consider the total of the cuts and divide it equally for all the citizens.
The reality is that people who are already making more efforts to make ends meet won't even benefit from these "cuts for everyone", while those who already have more will have even more and will be the true winners of this fiscal measure.
It is increasingly disconcerting to see the Farmers' Party, which says to defend the interests of farmers, which only a few years ago were defending the farmers, showing them as an impoverished class in needs of protection and subsidies. Well done! Your dear farmers will be among those who will benefit less from these cuts. Evidently, the "farmers" you represent are landlords and agro-food companies.
And the PNP, so proud of its populism... the party near to the tireless fatigued Istalian worker, to the families and their small provincial stores, and so on, to which you are instead saying: "Choosing on who to cut more between you and those who have even ten times your possessions, we chose you!" Congratulations...
Talk about progressive taxation by actually applying a regressive principle for cuts! You know very well how to sell smoke!

Alessandro Eugenio of Nacosia-Rohan reaffirmed all of the party's opposition to the reform and even added that Istalia is standing on the edge of a chasm, a chasm which will only lead to the economic prevarication of those who have more harming those who have less, with an increasingly subtle and absent state, with less and less resources, preferring to hit the elderly, numerous families, sick, disabled, unemployed, and therefore future generations and their hopes for a high quality, accessible and inclusive education to favor today, in the ephemeral short term practically already passed, who have the least need for economic support.
Liberty and Progress and national unions, close as they did not since the time of the then PSLI, thanks to the Labor Party's mediation, unfortunately already dissolvec due to internal dissensions for the election results, announced in the evening that will soon be announced a general strike against the government and a nation that is working only for a few privileged.
Finally, journalists have asked to the leader of LP to comment on the recent revelation of the relationship between the leaders of PNP and ULD, but Nacosia-Rohan simply said: I'm happy for them but as you see there is much else to talk about!

The press has been closely following the stories surrounding the relationship between the UDL and PNP frontman and frontwoman, recently their relationship has been confirmed, but no one has expected that, so shortly prior to the election, PNP Leader Luciana Vespa, would offer her resignation from the PNP and her parliamentary seat in order to become a mother. We congratulate the pair for becoming soon-to-be parents however this has severely deteriorated the PNP’s position in Istalian politics. This was already noticeable by the lack of bills they proposed and now, without a leader and without the promised istalianization reform, things seem to be clearly going south. There is also no clear replacement in sight as the party was held together solely by Luciana Vespa. Temporary leadership will be assumed by the current minister of foreign affairs, Felippe di Vittorio, but as said, it is temporary.

The about one month pregnant Vespa has promised to return but only when “the time was right”.

First Ruhi Temple Built
Terra's first "Spiritual Temple" built in Istalia

February 4295 - Terra's first "Spiritual Temple" (Bayt Maqdaš Rūḥān), the official name of the house of worship of the Ruhi Faith, was built in Istalia after a decade of construction, initiated in March 4285, a few weeks after the martyrdom of the religion's founder. Construction of the Temple was initiated by Vito Sarti, a well-known Alarian industrialist and one of the first Istalian converts to the new religion, and it was supervised by Ulugbék Hzar, one of the "Apostles of the Messiah", sent to Istalia by Caliph Nasiba Rabban to support the small Istalian Ruhi community.

On the day of the dedication some 2,600 people gathered in the countryside around Calliari where the temple was built in order to attend the historic dedication of Terra's first Ruhi Temple. The opening ceremony was led by Apostle Ulugbék Hzar, and was attended by representatives of Istalia's main religious denominations, a representative of the Governor of the province of Sarregna, and a representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The opening ceremony included traditional Istalian and Barmenian music and dance, a short moment of silence commemorating Ismail Rabban's martyrdom, and an interfaith prayer for the end of religious discrimination and oppression in Barmenistan.

From this moment on the new Temple will be the site of Ruhi worship, which according to the religion's scriptures is open to all people regardless of religious belief, and will also include the chanting or recitation of scriptures belonging to all religions. No religious rituals belonging to other religions or new rituals designed for the Ruhi Faith are to be practiced in the new Temple. In addition to the main building, the Temple also includes a Ruhi University, an orphanage, a hospital, a traveler's hostel, and a home for the disabled, and like the Temple itself these facilities are to be open to people of all faiths. The headquarters of the Istalian National Spiritual Assembly is also located in the vicinity of the Temple.

The new construction is also seen as an architectural and cultural achievement for the Calliari region. The building is clad in a concrete mixture of cement and quartz, into which many intricate details are carved. Texts belonging to Ismail Raban are inscribed above the entrance, and symbols belonging to several religions are carved on each exterior pillar, symbolizing both the Ruhi belief in the unity of all religions and the relativity of religious truth, as well as the fact that the Temple is open to people of all faiths, a fact seen as consistent with the multi-cultural character of Istalian society.

SCIOPERO GENERALE: ISTALIA BLOCCATA PER 24H!
Il taglio dei salari minimi proposto dalla compagine governativa ha definitivamente scatenato la reazione dei sindacati che compatti scendono in piazza


Sciopero Generale dichiarato in tutta Istalia con picchi di adesione da record: solo a Romula i sindacati hanno dichiarato quasi un milione di persone che hanno gonfiato i quattro cortei principali e che si sono ritrovati in Piazza Quattroregni e Piazzale San Matteo. Altrettanto numerosi i partecipanti alle manifestazioni che hanno attraversato le strade delle altre maggiori città Istaliane.
Aeroporti e stazioni bloccati, trasporti pubblici urbani ed interurbani azzerati, scuole ed uffici pubblici chiusi come anche grandi magazzini o semplici negozi al dettaglio, addirittura il grosso dei servizi di sicurezza e soccorso resteranno oggi quasi completamente in standby con solo pochi volontari e continuare a garantire un servizio minimo.
Dopo l'annuncio fatto accanto alla dirigenza di Libertà e Progresso, alla presentazione dell'ultima proposta di legge proveniente dalla maggioranza i sindacati hanno deciso di non attendere oltre per paralizzare il paese.
A scatenare infine l'ira dei lavoratori, come detto, la proposta presentata in parlamento da Demetrio Votta, parlamentare PNP, per abolire il salario minimo in Istalia, una proposta fortemente criticata dal mai indomito Romulani e così commentata anche dal Segretario Nazionale di Nacosia-Rohan incontrato alla testa di uno dei cortei di Romula:

L'Onorevole Votta si esprime con i "forse" ed i "probabilmente"! "Probabilmente i salari reali aumenteranno..." ha dichiarato di fronte all'emiciclo della Camera. "Probabilmente"? Mi chiedo se si rendono conto del fatto che non stanno giocando una partita a dadi, ma stanno governando una nazione. Ma forse non sarebbe troppo diverso! Ci ritroviamo con un budget ridotto all'osso per le esigenze nazionali, hanno tagliato l'imposta sui redditi con una vera e propria accetta, tra l'altro, come già denunciato, tagli doppi per le tre fasce più basse, ed ora ci ritroviamo con un deficit nazionale che aumenta mese dopo mese e che sarà ancora più largo tra poco, quando anche l'ennesimo inutile taglio all'imposta sulle vendite dei beni di lusso sarà approvata: vi rendete conto? Un taglio inutile e rivolto vergognosamente a "tutti gli istaliani" quando invece ne approfitteranno solo chi può permettersi le categorie di beni di lusso interessate, e stiamo parlando di prodotti abbordabili da una minima percentuale di Istaliani. Milioni di Lire regalati a chi già ne ha miliardi! Una riforma spacciata come classica proposta demagogica pre-elettorale! Sarebbe vero se solo il popolo non fosse quello che ci rimetterà! Ed è per questo che oggi marcerò insieme agli Istaliani per far sentire la nostra voce! Siamo stanchi di questo Governo marcio fatto dai ricchi e per i ricchi! Difenderemo a spada tratta i salari dei nostri lavoratori, già tanto assottigliati! Oggi diciamo no al ritorno della schiavitù imprenditoriale! I nostri lavoratori meritano Dignità e Tutele, non essere sfruttati fino all'osso!

E proprio al grido di "Dignità e Tutele" hanno sfilato compatti i lavoratori di buona parte delle categorie, manifestazioni che si sono svolte senza incidenti a parte la manifestazione di Bunogna dove una volta giunta in centro città, dalla massa è emerso un numeroso gruppo di esponenti anarchici, metzisti ed anti-capitalisti che hanno messo a ferro e fuoco il centro cittadino bruciando una decina di auto, sfondando le vetrine ad oltre cinquanta negozi e bruciando una banca, nonché scontrandosi con la polizia: il bilancio è di 7 poliziotti feriti, 25 manifestanti feriti, 30 manifestanti arrestati e danni per centinaia di migliaia di lire.
A parte questo evento, nel resto delle città le manifestazioni sono pacificamente confluite verso le piazzi più importanti dove sono stati allestiti palchi dai quali esponenti sia dei sindacati che dei partiti dell'opposizione hanno arringato la folla.

Libertà e Progresso sembra dunque sfilare sempre più a sinistra sul panorama politico, con l'opinione pubblica che comincia ad identificare sempre più il partito di di Nacosia-Rohan con l'area socialista, dalla quale il partito ha sempre voluto ben distinguersi, ma il Segretario Nazionale ancora una volta ha così risposto:

Il nostro partito si è sempre definito Social Liberale e non stiamo facendo altro che agire da VERI Social Liberali! Non è di certo un nostro obbiettivo l'abbattimento del capitalismo e la realizzazione del socialismo! Ma tutelare i lavoratori, sostenere un'economia sociale di mercato, proteggere i cittadini garantendo l'esistenza più dignitosa ed umana possibile, garantire ad ogni cittadini eguali opportunità... sono forse questi obbiettivi "socialisti"? Assolutamente no! Social democrazia e Liberalismo Sociale hanno però da tempo capito che la società liberale e capitalista può perfettamente crescere, svilupparsi e sopravvivere garantendo sempre e comunque una società più giusta ed equa che non sia ridotta al mero sfruttamento delle persone da parte di pochi avidi! Nonostante il trend generale, come le recenti dichiarazioni espresse al Congresso Mondiale, con un Ambasciatore Hulstriano che vergognosamente ha usato il termine "democrazia" nel mentre si vantava di come abbiano "bandito un intero movimento politico", ebbene, vi dico che i Socialismo ha contribuito allo sviluppo delle società umane ben più di quanto qualsiasi forma di autocrazia, becero conservatorismo o sfrenato liberalismo siano mai riusciti a fare!

Proprio riguardo le recenti dichiarazioni dell'Ambasciatore Hulstriano contro i movimenti di sinistra, è giunta la risposta delle frange più estreme dei vari movimenti politici scesi in piazza, in primis i metzisti, che hanno manifestato tenendo in alto dei manichini impiccati vestiti con abiti Hulstriani e con corone di cartone sulla testa.

GENERAL STRIKE: ISTALIA BLOCKED FOR 24H!
The cut in the minimum wage proposed by the majority has finally sparked the reaction of the Unions which compact take to the streets

General strike declared all over Istalia with record-breaking peaks: only in Romula, unions declared nearly a million people who filled the four main demonstrations which meet up in Quattroregni Square and San Matthias Square. There are as many participants in the events that crossed the streets of other major Istalian towns.
Blocked airports and stations, urban and interurbans public transport non-existent, schools and public offices closed as well as department stores or simple retail stores, even most part of the security and rescue services remained almost completely in standby with just a few volunteers to continue to guarantee a minimum service.
Following the announcement made together with the Liberty and Progress leadership, the Unions have decided not to wait any longer to paralyze the country when the latest bill came by the majority.
To unleash the workers' anger, as said, the proposal put forward by Demetrio Votta, PNP Deputy, to abolish the minimum wage in Istalia, a proposal heavily criticized by the indomitable Romulani, and so commented by the National Secretary di Nacosia-Rohan met at the head of one of the demonstrations of Romula:

Honorable Votta expresses itself using "perhaps" and "probably"! "Probably the real wages will increase..." he said in front of the Chamber. "Probably"? I wonder if they realize they are not playing a dice game, but they are ruling a nation. But maybe it would not be too different! That is why today I will march with the Istalians to make our voice heard! We are tired of this rotten government made by the rich and for the rich! We will defend the wages of our workers, already so thin! Today we say no to the return of entrepreneurial slavery! Our workers deserve Dignity and Protection, not to be exploited down to the bone!

And just at the scream of "Dignity and Protection" demostrates the workers of a most part of the workers categories, manifestations that took place without accidents apart from the event of Bunogna, where once they arrived in the city center, from the mass emerged a massive group of anarchist, metzist and anti-capitalist exponents who rqvaged the city center burning a dozen cars, breaking the windows at over fifty stores and burning a bank, as well as clashing with the police: the tool is of seven wounded policemen, 25 wounded demonstrators, 30 arrested demonstrators and damage for hundreds of thousands if not millions of lire.
Apart from this event, in the rest of the cities the events have peacefully flowed to the most important squares where stages have been set up, from which both the trade unions and the opposition parties talked the crowd.

Liberty and Progress seems to move ever further to the left on the political landscape, with public opinion that begins to identify more and more the di Nacosia-Rohan's party with the socialist area, from which the party has always wanted to stand out, but the National Secretary once again replied:

Our party always declared itself to be Social Liberal and we are doing nothing but acting as veritable Social Liberals! It is certainly not our goal to abolish capitalism and to achieve socialism! But protecting workers, supporting a social market economy, protecting citizens by guaranteeing the most dignified and human existence possible, guaranteeing equal opportunities for every citizen... are these "socialist" goals perhaps? Absolutely not! Social Democracy and Social Liberalism have long since understood that liberal and capitalist society can grow, develop and survive perfectly also guaranteeing a fair and equitable society at all times and never being reduced to the mere exploitation of people by few greedy people! Despite the general trend, like the recent statements made into the World Congress, namely by the Hulstrian Ambassador who used the word "democracy" shamefully as he boasted of banning an entire political movement, well... I tell you that Socialism has contributed to the development of human societies far more than any form of autocracy, conservatorism or unbridled liberalism never managed to do!

Just as regards the recent statements by the Hulstrian Ambassador against the leftist movements, the response of the most extreme fringes of the various political movements that came to the streets, in particular the metizists, came to the fore, and they demonstrated holding up hanging mannequins dressed in Hulstrian clothing and with papier-mache crowns on the head.

Baldassare will not run for second term

Agostino Baldassare, the current ULP leader, decided to end his political career, at least for some time, to become a father, for the first time, although his four past marriages.

That births a question; who will replace the current party leader? It seems as if the answer isn't simple as many candidates have voiced their candidacy. Some major include the current National Coordinator, Qadira Dulilah, Alberto Salazar, Baldassare's close friend and right hand, as well as many minor candidates, such as two very controversial men; the youngest MP of the current cadency and rapper, Giovanni Famasto and the son of a Solentian billionaire, Phineas Abercrombie.

Demetrio Votta (PNP Speaker for Finance) makes headlines with statement on the general strike

Demetrio Votta has projected himself onto the headlines due to his comment on the immense general strike:

Let them strike, this is the free market! However, they should not be surprised if they lose their jobs the next day, this is as mentioned: the free market.

This statement has made Votta the main target of Metzist protestors, claiming that he represents everything what is wrong with capitalism, and that is essentially everything in their eyes. However ironically, this outrage induced publicity may be the creation of a savior for the PNP. His ratings Skyrocketed from below average to sensational in an instant, obviously in certain areas as His statement has also made him the most hated politician in other areas.

The memes have spawned like mushrooms in the rain, with the left meming with “let them strike”, and Mr. Votta looking viciously in the background, whilst the right has given him the nickname Volt. Slogans and phrases like “shocking”, “feel the Volt” and most commonly: “U Vott Mate” are all around the internet.

Demetrio Votta has adressed the protesters in a direct manner yesterday, even though he was booed at, he has delivered a direct attack at the LP, Socialism and di Nacosia-Rohan:

If contribution to the development of human societies means an empty plate for breakfast, then I’d like to pass on this Socialist contribution

Is he the savior of the PNP? Will he deliver the right balance of conservative and capitalist policies? Well for now he definitely delivered publicity, headlines, outrage and the memes.
