Grande manifestazione in difesa del diritto all'aborto
Libertà e Progresso in prima fila a guidare il corteo che ha sfilato per le strade di Romula protestando per l'ondata conservatrice degli ultimi anni


ROMULA - Come annunciato in Aula dal Vice-Leader di LP, Stefano Romulani, durante i dibattiti sulla controversa legge presentata dal Partito Nazionalista, centinaia di migliaia di persone si sono ritrovate a Romula per sfilare in corteo per protestare contro quello che è stato giudicato come un enorme torto fatto alle donne ed un inaccettabile attacco contro i diritti civili dei cittadini.
La proposta di legge infatti, che dovrebbe passare grazie al voto favorevole di PNI, CC e DHI, dopo oltre un secolo di diritto assolutamente riconosciuto alle donne, a parte alcuni mesi tra il 4286 ed 4287, quando il PNI era riuscito nuovamente a far passare una legge contro l'aborto, spazzerà via secoli di progresso culturale e sociale.
Dalla segreteria di LP è quindi partito un appello rivolto a tutte le forze progressiste della nazione per unirsi nella difesa dei diritti civili dei cittadini e soprattutto dello Stato laico e non soggetto dunque ai precetti di questa o quella religione.
Queste le parole del Segretario Nazionale di Nacosia-Rohan:

Per la difesa dei diritti civili, del diritto della donna a scegliere senza alcuna interferenza esterna, per tutelare le donne evitando che vengano spinte verso l'aborto illegale, pericolosissimo per la loro salute, Libertà e Progresso chiama a raccolta tutte le forze politiche che vogliono opporsi a questo inaccettabile attacco ai diritti dei nostri cittadini.
La libertà dei nostri cittadini è in pericolo, soprattutto di fronte alla comparsa di partiti estremamente conservatore e che pretendono di imporre ridicoli precetti religiosi come fossero leggi dello Stato, ed è oggi che le forze che credono nei diritti dei cittadini devono riaffermare con forza e risolutezza che le religioni ed i loro dogmi non hanno alcun posto tra le leggi dello Repubblica che è e deve restare laica!

A preoccupare molto i LiberalProgressisti, dunque, la comparsa del Partito Conservatore d'Istalia e del Partito Demohosiano, due partiti giudicati da LP semplicemente come reazionari ed anacronistici, pronti nel 44esimo secolo a far regredire il Paese di secoli piuttosto che a farlo progredire verso il futuro.

I media, avvicinati diversi esperti politologi e sociologi, hanno indagato sui perche di questa ondata conservatrice e la risposta generale ha indicato la crisi della Peste Dovaniana come un fattore centrale.
Dopo quasi 100 mila morti ed un picco di quasi 700 mila infetti, almeno da un anno non si registrano nuovi casi di infezione ed il Paese è praticamente tornato alla piena normalità nonostante le difficoltà sociali ed economiche siano ancora presenti, ma gli effetti psicosociali della pandemia probabilmente dureranno ancora a lungo e l'emerge di tali partiti confessionali è l'espressione di una larga fetta della popolazione che intimorita e scioccata dalla crisi sanitaria si è riavvicinata alla fede, alcuni addirittura giudicando la Peste alla stregua di una punizione divina, un fenomeno che non si riscontra solo in Istalia ma in molti altri paesi del mondo, con sette e nuovi culti che emergono mentre le religioni tradizionali hanno visto centinaia di migliaia di persone riscoprire la fede.

Tutto ciò però, hanno dichiarato diversi esponenti dei LiberalProgressisti, non giustifica l'adozione di misure adatte ad epoche medievali e soprattutto la Capogruppo alla Camera Aisha Menchi ha così commentato ai giornalisti riguardo i conservatori:

Mi dispiace dirlo, ma sono persone poco istruite ed ignoranti, che parlano di "crudeltà" e di "dolore", parlano di bambini quando invece non sanno nulla e dimostrano di non avere alcuna nozione scientifica! I maggiori studi nel settore infatti dimostrano chiaramente che prima del terzo trimestre i feti non provano dolore e che solo nelle ultime fasi della gestazioni i feti cominciano ad avere una certa coscienza ed a sentire la presenza dei genitori. Prima di quella data il sistema neurale del feto semplicemente non è abbastanza sviluppato per provare alcunché! E cosa è un essere umano? Un filamento di dna? Un pezzo di carne che respira? Niente affatto!Ciò che ci rendere umani e vivi è soprattutto è la coscienza che abbiamo del mondo, la nostra capacità a recepire gli stimoli dal mondo esterno, la capacità, se vogliamo, di sentire il dolore che i conservatori usano come scusa!
Piuttosto che aprire bocca per dargli fiato, invito queste persone ad andare a leggersi qualcosa che non sia l'Annunciazione, così forse la prossima volta avranno delle opinioni informate e non soltanto ridicole giustificazioni per difendere il loro bigottismo!

Parole dure da parte dunque dei LiberalProgressisti che annunciano che Stefano Romulani sarà il loro candidato Presidente per le prossime elezioni e che tra i suoi obbiettivi principali ci sarà la reintroduzione del diritto di scelta della donna e dunque si impegnerà durante la sua Presidenza a riaffermare e difendere i sacro santi diritti civili degli Istaliani ed a riaffermare la totale laicità dello stato e che le religioni non hanno alcun ruolo nella Repubblica.

Great demonstration in defense of the right to abortion
Liberty and Progress in the front row to drive the procession that parade in the streets of Romula protesting against the conservative wave of recent years

ROMULA - As announced in the Chamber by the Vice-Leader of LP, Stefano Romulani, during the debates on the controversial law presented by the Nationalist Party, hundreds of thousands of people have met in Romula to demostrate and protest against what was judged as a huge wrongly made to women and an unacceptable attack on citizens' civil rights.
The bill, which should pass thanks the favorable vote of PNI, CC and DHI, after over a century of absolutely recognized right to women, apart from some months between 4286 and 4287, when the PNI had once again managed to pass a law against abortion, will wipe out centuries of cultural and social progress.
The LP secretariat has therefore appealed to all the nation's progressive forces to join in the defense of the civil rights of the citizens and especially of the secular state, and therefore not subject to the precepts of this or that religion.
These are the words of Nacosia-Rohan's National Secretary:

In defense of civil rights, of the women's right to choose without any external interference, to protect women by being pushed towards illegal abortion, dangerous for their health, Liberty and progress calls on all the political forces who want to oppose this unacceptable attack on the rights of our citizens.
The freedom of our citizens is in jeopardy, especially in the face of the appearance of extremely conservative parties and which claim to impose ridiculous religious precepts like they were the laws of the state, and today the forces that believe in the rights of citizens must reaffirm strongly and with resoluteness that religions and their dogmas have no place among the laws of the Republic that is and must remain secular!

To worry too much about the Liberal Progressives, therefore, the appearance of the Conservative Party of Istalia and the Demohosian Party, two parties judged by LP simply as reactionary and anachronistic, ready in the 44th century to make regress the country of centuries rather than make it progress towards the future.

The media, approached several expert political scientists and sociologists, investigated the reasons for this conservative wave and the general response pointed to the crisis of Dovanian Plague as a central factor.

Before that date the neural system of the fetus is simply not developed enough to feel anything! And what is a human being? A filament of DNA? A breathing piece of meat? Nothing at all! What makes us human and alive is, above all, the consciousness we have of us and of the world, our ability to transpose stimuli from the outside world, the ability, if we want say, to feel the pain, the pain that conservatives use as an excuse!
Rather than opening your mouth to give it breath, I invite these people to study or at least read something that is not the Annunciation, so maybe next time they will have informed opinions to express and not just ridiculous justifications to defend their bigotry!

Harsh words so by part of the Liberal Progressives who announce that Stefano Romulani will be their candidate to the Presidency for the next election and that among its main goals will be the reintroduction of women's right of choice and will therefore undertake to reaffirm and defend during his Presidency the sacred and untouchable civil rights of the Istalians and reaffirm the total secularism of the state and that religions have no role in the Republic.

ULTIM'ORA: GENOCIDIO IN OSTLAND: ISTALIA CHIAMA LA REAZIONE INTERNAZIONALE
L'Istalia smaschera i crimini contro l'umanità commessi dall'Hulstria mentre le immagini scioccano il mondo


Sgomento e disgusto a livello planetario, questa la reazione del mondo alle prove sugli eccidi perpetrati dalle forze di occupazione Hulstriane in Ostland presentate dall'Istalia all'Assemblea Generale del Congresso Mondiale.
È stato il neo nominato Ambasciatore d'Istalia al Congresso Mondiale, Claudio Parmesan, ieri nel pomeriggio a presentare la relazione, un voluminoso e dettagliato documento di centinaia di pagine e corredata di centinaia di foto che hanno inevocabilmente inchiodato il Governo Hulstriano.
Immagini che hanno fatto immediatamente il giro del mondo e che hanno ammutolito e scioccato l'Assemblea, dove era presente tra l'altro il rappresentate della nazione non riconosciuta dell'Unione di Hulstria e Gao-Soto, autoproclamatasi indipendente dall'Hulstria benché in verità per il momento costituita dai settembristi in esilio (storica corrente politica Hulstriana), un esponente dell'etnia Gao-Showa che non ha potuto trattenere il dolore generato da quelle immagini.
Il Governo Hulstriano, in fatti, avrebbe approfittato della crisi sanitaria dell'Infezione di Wolfshein per perpetrare un programma di pulizia etnica e che può essere ben definito come un vero e proprio genocidio.
Sembra che i Gao-Showan in Ostland, piuttosto che curati, vengano invece segregati in lager-lazzaretti e lasciati letteralmente a morire di stenti o sommariamente giustiziati in massa.

La relazione presentata dall'Istalia si concentra infatti sulle prove della presenza di numerose fosse comuni come anche di interi villaggi e cittadine popolate da Gao-Showan completamente bruciati e quindi su testimonianze raccolte tra la popolazione. Lo stretto controllo delle Forze Hulstriane sulla missione humanitaria internazionale, però, ha ben tenuto lo staff medico lontano dai lager di cui si è parlato, di cui comunque già da anni si denunciava la sospetta presenza, ma nonostante ciò alcuni volenterosi e coragiosi membri dello staff sono comunque riusciti a scoprire la verità.

Il Governo Hulstriano ha però immediatamente denunciato l'Istalia di aver falsificato le prove, scaricando ogni accusa, ma nel contempo ha accusato la missione umanitaria di essere stata un cavallo di Kalopia pieno di spie e per questo ha annunciato l'immediata chiusura delle frontiere impedendo a chiunque di entrare od uscire, missione umanitaria compresa che da oggi è praticamente ostaggia delle forze Hulstriane.
L'Istalia direttamente nell'Assemblea, di fronte al mondo, ha lanciato un vero e proprio ultimatum all'Hulstria, la quale ha da oggi tre mesi per lasciare Ostland o sarà la forza delle armi a decidere il destino del paese centro dovaniano.

Il Governo Istaliano in seguito alle accuse Hulstriane a rilasciato questa dichiarazione:

Il Governo Istaliano nega assolutamente l'aver inviato agenti della nostra Intelligence in Ostland tra il personale medico della missione umanitaria e l'Istalia rigetta totalmente delle accuse che provengono da una nazione che, nonostante le ampie concessioni e la pazienza della comunità internazionale, non ha fatto che agire nell'ombra continuando a violare non solo gli accordi ma anche i più basilari diritti umani.
Piuttosto il Governo Istaliano vuole ringraziare ed omaggiare i coraggiosi medici, infermieri, volontari e forze di scorta per il coraggio dimostrato nell'affrontare la somma minaccia di ritorsioni crudeli e violente per svelare i Crimini dell'Hulstria, per la compassione per tanti innocenti che li ha spinti a rischiare la loro stessa vita per permettere al mondo di conoscere la verità.
La decisione dell'Hulstria di prendere in ostaggio la missione umanitaria internazionale non può che aggravare la posizione Hulstriana e rinforzare la nostra determinazione e la nostra risolutezza nel liberare una volta per tutte l'Ostland dal giogo dell'Hulstria.
L'Istalia considera nuovamente da oggi pienamente in vigore le Risoluzioni adottate contro l'Hulstria dal Consiglio di Sicurezza del Congresso Mondiale e chiama in appello le nazioni del Consiglio nel formare il nucleo di una ampia coalizione internazionale per liberare l'Ostland ed aperta a quelle nazioni che, inorridite, ormai non possono più tollerare la criminale presenza Hulstriana in Ostland.

L'Annuncio giunge inoltre a seguito di un'evento che ha lasciato il mondo altrettanto interdetto e sorpreso, ovvero la dichiarazione dell'Ambasciatore di Vanuku che ha formalmente rigettato la propria alleanza con l'Hulstria e che, con grande sorpresa per l'Assemblea, si è direttamente rivolto all'Istalia invocando l'unione delle rispettive forze per muovere fianco a fianco contro l'Hulstria.
Il Governo Istaliano non ha ancora dato una risposta a Wiel, ma l'annuncio fatto da Romula ha chiaramente invitato qualsiasi nazione pronta a fronteggiare l'Hulstria ad entrare nella coalizione del Congresso Mondiale. Un invito sottointeso, commentando diversi analisti, ma una risposta ufficiale è attesa a breve.

BREAKING: GENOCIDE IN OSTLAND: ISTALIA CALL FOR THE INTERNATIONAL REACTION
Istalia unveils the crimes against humanity committed by the Hulstria while the images shock the world

Disgust and dismay at planetary level, this is the reaction of the world to the evidences of the bloodshed perpetruated by the Hulstrian occupation forces in Ostland presented by Istalia to the General Assembly of the World Congress.
It was the newly-appointed Istalian Ambassador to the World Congress, Claudio Parmesan, yesterday in the afternoon to present the report, a massive and detailed document of hundreds of pages, with hundreds of images which has definitively exposed the Hulstrian Government.
Images that immediately made the tour of the world and that have shocked the Assembly, where there was, among other things, the representatives of the unrecognized nation of the Union of Hulstria and Gao-Soto, self-proclaimed independent from Hulstria although for the time being actually constituted by the Settembrists in exile (historical Hulstrian political movement), an exponent of the Gao-Showa ethnicity who could not withstand the pain generated by those images.
The Hulstrian Government, in fact, has taken advantage of the health crisis of Wolfshein's Infection to carry out an ethnic cleansing program that can be clearly defined as a genocide.
It seems that the Gao-Showan in Ostland, rather than cared for, are instead segregated into lager-pest houses and literally left to death or summarily executed in mass.

The report presented by Istalia focuses on the evidence of the presence of numerous mass burial sites as well as entire villages and towns populated by Gao-Showan completely burnt and thus on testimonies gathered between the population. The strict control of the Hulstrian Forces on the international humanitarian mission, however, did well to keep the medical staff far away from the lagers mentioned, which for some years many had denounced the suspected existence, but some willing and curious members of the staff still managed to find out the truth.

The Hulstrian Government, however, immediately denounced Istalia for falsifying the evidence by dismissing all charges, but at the same time accused the humanitarian mission of having been a Kalopian horse full of spies and for that reason it announced the immediate closure of the frontiers preventing anyone to enter or exit, including the humanitarian mission that is practically hostage to the Hulstrian forces today.
Istalia directly in the Assembly, in front of the world, has launched a real ultimatum to Hulstria, which has three months to leave Ostland or will be the force of arms to decide the fate of the center Dovanian nation.

The Istalian Government following the Hulstrian's accusations issued this statement:

The Istalian Government absolutely denies to have sending agents of our Intelligence in Ostland among the medical personnel of the humanitarian mission and Istalia completely rejects accusations which come from a nation that, despite the broad concessions and the patience of the international community, has acted in the shadows continuing to violate not only the agreements but also the most basic human rights.
Rather, the Istalian Government wants to thank and commend the brave doctors, nurses, volunteers and escort forces for the courage shown to face the overwhelming threat of cruel and violent reprisals to unveil the Crimes of Hulstria and for their compassion for so many innocents who has pushed them to risk their own lives to allow the world to know the truth.
The decision of the Hulstrians to take hostage the international humanitarian mission can only aggravate the Hulstrian position and strengthen our determination and our resolutness to rid once and for all Ostland from the yoke of the Hulstrians.
Istalia once again considers the resolutions adopted against Hulstria by the Security Council of the World Congress fully in force since today and calls on the nations of the Council to form the core of a large international coalition to rid Ostland and open to all those nations that, horrified, can no longer tolerate the criminal Hulstrian presence in Ostland.

The announcement also comes after an event that has left the world equally ashamed and surprised, that is the statement by Vanuku's ambassador who formally rejected its alliance with Hulstria and which, with great surprise for the Assembly, he turned directly to Istalias invoking the union of their respective forces to move side by side against Hulstria.
The Istalian Government has not yet responded to Wiel but the announcement made then by Romula has clearly invited any nation ready to face Hulstria to enter the World Congress coalition. An implicit invitation, commented several analysts, but an official response is expected shortly.

Georg Zacharias has been extradited to Kalopi-Siphina

After some years of debate between the Istalian government and the Kalopian one, finally today Georg Zacharias has been officially extradited to Kalopi-Siphina. The agreement was made between the ministers of Justice and Foreign Affairs of the two countries, after a few months of discussions about how and when to disclose him in Kalopi-Siphina and how to coordinate the authorities of the two countries. On 8 June 4307, the aeroplane MUA-702 left the airport of Romula and landed at the airport of Eleopolis, where the police took him and brought into the jail.
Laura Cardinale, current Istalian Justice Minister, praised the Kalopian government for their collaboration:

"The agreement between the two countries wasn't only about a transfer of one dangerous terrorist. Kalopian families who lost their beloved ones needs to know that their country will justice him for his crimes. Sadly, condemning him will not bring back the deads from the womb. The only thing a country can give to their citizens is the certainty that they're not alone. But the duty, as a State who promotes values, is to not seek a bloody vengeance to avenge the families' victims."

ELEZIONI 4307: Rumulani da solo sconfitto solo grazie ad una coalizione conservatrice ma in Parlamento il vantaggio è ampissimo
Libertà e Progresso primo partito staccato di oltre 10 punti percentuali dai Nazionalisti ed unica forza di sinistra: di Nacosia-Rohan lascia le redini al fidato braccio destro social democratico


ROMULA - Notte magica per quello che ormai è rimasto l'unico vero partito di sinistra in Istalia che, nonostante la sconfitta del candidato Presidente, supera il 30% dei consensi e riporta ben 83 seggi di distacco dalla seconda forza della nazione.
Il Governo liberale guidato da Aidano Cesaro è stato chiaramente sconfitto alle urne, con tutti i partiti membri che sperimentano cali e tra questi proprio Confederazione Capitalista, nonostante sia ancora terza forza politica del paese, è stata chiaramente la grande sconfitta di queste elezioni, perdendo più di 11 punti percentuali e 42 seggi.
Nonostante i timori sollevati prima delle elezioni dall'opinione pubblica di sinistra, che con la dissoluzione del Partito Giustizialista, di Uniti Verso il Progresso e quindi di Cittadini Social Liberali temeva di vedere un Parlamento dominato dalle forze conservatrici, in verità i risultati elettorali del Partito Conservatore e del Partito Demohosiano non sono stati affatto eccelsi, fermadosi rispettivamente al penultimo ed ultimo posto e piuttosto che attirare nuovi voti non hanno fatto altro che rubare sostegno agli altri partiti di destra e di centro-destra.
A parte LP, ed ovviamente l'ingresso in parlamento dei già menzionati nuovi partiti, l'unico altro partito a sperimentare una crescita, seppure leggera, è stata l'Unione dei LIberal Democratici probabilmente sulla scia della loro decisione di uscire dal Governo Cesaro quando le altre maggiori forze della coalizione hanno votato a favore dell'abolizione dell'aborto volontario.
Riguardo la Presidenza, invece, Stefano Romulani, investito dal Segretario di Nacosia-Rohan, al primo turno ha guadagnato una vittoria schiacciante nei confronti di tutti gli altri candidati superando il 31% dei consensi mentre il secondo arrivato, Demetrio Votta, è passato al secondo turno con circa il 19%.
Al secondo turno invece Votta ha potuto contare sull'appoggio della Confederazione e dei Demohosiani grazie ai quali è riuscito ad imporsi su Romulani che comunque ha riportato un pur sempre ottimo 44.33% dei consensi.

LP dunque primo partito ma apparentemente lontano da Palazzo Antinori, avendo di fronte a se 432 seggi su 635 conquistati da partiti liberisti e di centro-destra con i quali i punti di dialogo sono pochi e soprattutto difficili da far convivere insieme: per esempio, con ULD e PR i LiberalProgressisti condividono pienamente le posizioni ampiamente permissive nel campo dei diritti civili ma si trovano invece agli antipodi per quanto riguarda le politiche economiche e sociali; situazione simile ma inversa con il Partito Demohosiano, con il quale LP condivide molti punti sul piano delle politiche economiche e sociali mentre si trova invece in contrasto riguardo i diritti civili.
Una coalizione di centro-destra sarebbe possibile, ma dopo la sconfitta di questa tornata elettorale e soprattutto a seguito della rottura sui diritti civili del fronte liberista, ci si aspettano consultazioni complicate e sicuramente non saranno pochi i partiti, soprattutto i più piccoli, che metteranno sul piatto richieste importanti dai possibili alleati.
Ad aprire uno spiraglio per una veloce risoluzione della "questione" Governo è però giunta la proposta del neo eletto Capo dello Stato rivolta ai LiberalProgressisti per la formazione di una Grande Coalizione in vista delle imminenti operazioni militari contro l'Hulstria. Il Presidente Votta infatti si è detto intenzionato a rispettare pienamente gli impegni assunti dal Paese durante le precedenti amministrazioni riaffermando con risolutezza l'intenzione dell'Istalia di liberare una volta per tutte Ostland dal giogo Hulstriano.

La risposta dei LiberalProgressisti non è ancora stata resa nota, anche perché il Segretario di Nacosia-Rohan, subito dopo le elezioni, ha deciso di dimettersi dalla leadership del partito. Avvicinato dai giornalisti ha dichiarato:

Sono convinto che sia giunto il momento di passare il testimone! E non credo ci sia una persona migliore di Stefano per continuare il lavoro da me intrapreso. Stefano infatti credo sia la figura più indicata in questo momento, ora che LP si trova ad essere la sinistra del Paese. Non lascerò il partito, continuerò a lavorare fianco a fianco al futuro Segretario e per il bene di LP. Con Stefano eravamo sicuri che questa fosse la strada più giusta da intraprendere e con Stefano il Partito continuerà fermamente ad avanzare ed a lottare per raggiungere i nostri obbiettivi e riparare i torti di tanti anni di liberismo. Perché l'Istalia ha parlato ed ha chiaramente espresso la delusione per la scorsa legislatura e per questo governo che deve andare a casa il prima possibilr!

Le primarie organizzate in tempo record a soli due mesi dalle elezioni hanno semplicemente confermato l'investitura di di Nacosia-Rohan nei confronti di Romulani ed il Congresso eletto ha infatti votato a stragrande maggioranza per il braccio destro dell'ex Segretario lasciando solo qualche decina di voti agli altri due candidati, presentati dalle rispettive correnti (i Liberisti ed i Libertariani) in modo assai simbolico.

Elections 4307: Romulani alone defeated only by a conservative coalition but in the Parliament the advantage is very wide
Liberty and Progress first party up to more than 10 percentage points by the Nationalists and is the only leftist force of the Country: di Nacosia-Rohan passes the reins to his trusted social democratic right hand

ROMULA - Magical night for what has remained the only veritable leftist party in Istalia which, despite the defeat at the Presidential run, exceeds 30% of the consensus and has 83 seats more than the nation's second party.
The liberist government led by Aidano Cesaro has been clearly defeated at the polls, with all the party members experiencing decreases and among them the Capitalist Confederation, despite being still the country's third political force, is clearly the great defeat of these elections, losing more of 11 percentage points and 42 seats.
Despite the fears raised before the election by the left-wing public opinion, which with the dissolution of the Justicialist Party, United Towards the Progress and therefore of Social Liberal Citizens, feared to see a Parliament dominated by the conservative forces, indeed, the election results of the Conservative Party and of the Demohosian Party has not been at all good, stopping at the penultimate and last place respectively, and rather than attracting new votes, they have done nothing but stealing support from other right and center-right parties.
Aside from LP, and of course the entry into parliament of the aforementioned new parties, the only other party to experience a growth, albeit lightweight, was the Union of the Liberal Democrats, probably on the wave of their decision to leave the Cesaro's Government when the other major majority forces voted in favor of the abolition of voluntary abortion.
Regarding the Presidency, instead, Stefano Romulani, invested by the Secretary di Nacosia-Rohan, in the first round gained an overwhelming victory over all the other candidates, exceeding 31% of the consensus while the second one, Demetrio Votta, passed to the second round with about 19%.
In the second round, however, Votta was able to count on the support of the Confederation and the Demohosians, thanks to which he managed to deafet Romulani who, however, still reported a good 44.33%.

LP therefore first party but seemingly far from Palazzo Antinori (seat of Government), facing 432 seats on 635 won by right and center-right parties with which the dialogues are few and above all it seems difficult a convivence: for example, with ULD and PR the Liberal Progressives fully share the widely permissible positions in the field of civil rights but are opposed in terms of economic and social policies; a similar but inverse situation with the Demohosian Party, with which LP shares many points in terms of economic and social policies while is in contrast on the side of the civil rights.
A center-right coalition would be possible, but after the defeat of this election and especially following the rift on the civil rights among the Liberal Front, complicated consultations are expected and there will be no few parties, especially the little ones, which will put on the table important requests to the possible allies.
To bring a glimmer of light for a quick resolution of the Government "issue", however, came the proposal of the newly elected Head of State addressing the Liberal Progressives in order to form a Grand Coalition in view of the upcoming military operations against Hulstria. President Votta, in fact, said to be fully committed to the commitments took by the country during the previous administrations, reaffirming with determination the intention of Istalia to once at all rid Ostland from the Hulstrian yoke.

Liberal Progressive's response has not yet been announced, due tothe fact that the Secretary di Nacosia-Rohan, shortly after the election, decided to resign from the leadership of the party. Approached by the journalists he stated:

I'm convinced that it is time to pass the torch! And I do not think there is a better person than Stefano to continue the work I have undertaken. Stefano, in fact, is the best choice at this time, now that LP is actually the left of the country. I will not leave the party, I will continue working side by side with the future secretary and for the good of LP. With Stefano we were sure this was the right path to take, and with Stefano the Party will continue to advance and fight to achieve our goals and repair the wrongs made by so many years of liberalism. Because Istalia has spoken and has clearly expressed the disappointment for the last legislature and for this government which clearly must go home as soon as possible!

The primaries, organized in record time just two months after the election, simply confirmed di Nacosia-Rohan's choice and the elected Congress largely voted in favor of the former secretary's right hamd, leaving only a few dozen votes to the other two candidates, presented by their respective wings (Liberists and Libertarians) in a very symbolic way.

"EAGER TO WIN" - DULILAH'S PLAN TO DEFEAT THE CONSERVATIVE FORCES

Recently, the ULD secretary Qadira Dulilah gave a speech in the party's secondary HQ in Florenza; during it, together with the ex-party leader, Phineas Abercrombie and the party's presidential candidate from the last election, Sofia Morrela, she proposed a wide coalition, including the LP and PR, that would be able to take the power from the conservative and demohosian parties of Istalia.

We want to stop the conservative threat that glooms upon Istalia, a threat that can destroy everything that we have been building for so long; social and, maybe in the future,
political freedoms. We MUST stop them, for our citizens, for our nations, for Istalians.
I want to propose a coalition, that can potentially stop the regressive enemy; we want to build a coalition with Freedom and Progress and the Republican Pact. We propose this coalition;
we present a presidential candidate, Phineas Abercrombie, that will be backed by both LP and PR. We will elect a clear candidate for the office of the PM, which will be held by LP.
The speaker will go to PR. We must unite, as that is the only way to stop the regressive forces from destroying Istalia from within!

Dulilah wants to hold a meeting with the other party leaders, that she expects to be held in the near future.

Yes! We must race the PNI traitors away, even if it means that we'll have to cooperate with LP and accept some of their more unfortunate bills. But, worry not, it'll just bee a step towards our government, prime minister and president in the future!

Abercrombie confirmed that he will be the party's presidential candidate, even if a coalition will not be formed.

The party members announced that they will arrange a round table with the two other progressive parties and possible future partners, which is expected to be held in the near future, two or three months.

Leaders of DHI slams ULD.

Leaders of DHI made a collective statement after ULD's passionate call and claim for a united 'progressive front'. DHI leadership cried out 'Hypocracy' because of ULD's economic views for Istalia. The hyper neo-liberal policies of ULD and other right-wing political forces has caused more damage to Istalian society then upholding certain moral values. Their right-wing economic views are the only great danger of Istalia that could cave out our political and economical freedoms. It is rather shamful how ULD is twisting in the wind to claim power in Istalia. It is clearly if ULD is going to enter in a LP lead government that Istalia shall be in a economical stand still and that certain reforms that are needed for the poor will be blocked.

PD Leader dismisses left-wing accusations

Romula - In the first post-election interview the leader of the young Demohosian Party (Partito Demohosiano) Beniamino Vannucci defends his party after a recent series of ULD attacks against them.
Vannucci fired back saying that the ULD has no respect for or knowledge of basic manners and that the Liberals don't know how to "behave themselves".
PD Leader also stated that his party's views are "perfectly normal, mainstream conservative views" and "if the ULD cannot stand other views perhaps they all should consider a different career path."
"They are hecklers, not politicians or activists - hecklers." said Vannucci. He also said that the ULD and it's leader should apologize for their comments on religion and believers.
