Great Technology Exposition announced as part of the celebrations of the 200th anniversary of the Empire
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued world-wide invitations to most of the countries of Terra and many confirmations already came

The Government announced that an International Expo will be organized as part of the great celebrations for the 200th anniversary of the foundation of the Istalian Empire.

The event, officially called Great Technology Exposition, or GTE 4771, will be host in the istalian urban and technological jewel which is the city of Faro, and it will host Pavillons from dozens of foreign nations where they will be able to show their excellences and the greatest achievements on the field of Technology and Science.
The Expo will last for 6 months and it is expected that it will be visited by something like 42 million of visitors.

Dozens of nations already confirmed their presence and most of them will send representatives of their governments to attend the 1 September's celebrations in Romula and the opening of the Expo in Faro.

Nations from the so called Third World too will partecipate to the event, contacted by the Istalian Government prompted by inclusive spirit towards also all those nations that since today had few involvement in world affairs due to the internal issues and the limited resources. Among the nations of third world already confirmed their presence with a national pavillon nations like Rapa Pile, represented by President of the Cooperated Islands Gihan Rahula, Vascania, represented by Prince Siyam and Minister of Technology Sreenika Samirthi, then Tropica, New Englia, Liore, Bianje, Ostland, etc...
A Pavillon have been sponsored also by the Anarchist Commune of Orean, in Lodamun, which has been represented by the commissar over education, culture and technology Oscar Gayoso. The invitation sent also to the Anarchist Commune fully confirmed the intention of Istalia not to exclude anyone from this great showcase aimed to technology and science where doesn't consider political conflicts or clashes.
Many also the partecipation by part of Organization and Corporations from all over the world, like the Istalian Magistro-Leonardi, VerTech and IstanTec, the Endralonian More Medicament Manufacture, the Hutorian Horizon Technology Corporation, Lexington Entertainment and Millard, the Yingdala Xiandai Group and Zhijia, and so on.

OFF LEADERS MADE DEAL

Today, there not-scheduled OFF toplevel meeting took place at the PM's Calvani's office in our Capital City. It lasted about 20 hours. The 4 regional OFF presidents, the partychairman were invited by the Prime Minister to talk about current affairs. At dawn, the Head of Government made a statement during a pressconference. First of all he thanked our Monarch for his speech on television. He said that the Emperor delivered a well balanced and inspiring statement and that deserves a "follow up" concerning the Senate matter. After long and sometimes emotional discussions between the OFF leaders they negotiated a compromise which is more or less in line with the message of the Emperor. A major step in the right direction teh PM described the outcome of the meeting. The pro-life reforms in Trivendito will be implemented but for the time being there will be no more controversial bills proposed. In all other 3 regions with an OFF President, will act in line with the Senate's resolution. However, the OFF leaaders want to underline that they are in their right to ignore the Senate's decision as it is a brutal attack on regional democracies ! The OFF keeps boycotting the Senate as long as Azzara is the President of the Senate. OFF senators will return to their seats in the Senate as soon as the presidency of that instituition has been "normalised".

Partyofficials told the press that there will be demonstrations in every regional capital to support the OFF's stance. "Every Saturday we will have our voice heard across Istalia untill the Senate reverse their illegal desicion ", an official said. OFF watchers concluded that one could not have expected more. According to these specialists all wings of the party won and lost something. But....if this is sufficient to ease tensions.....time will learn.

Twelve cannon shots greeted Romula this morning on its awakening, a tribute and opening signal of the celebrations for the bicentenary of the founding of the Istalian Empire.

His Majesty the Emperor Alessandro III Ghazi together with the highest officials of the State left Quattroregni Palace towards the Park Emperor Michele I where he paid tribute to his illustrious predecessors, from the first Emperor of the Istalians and "Pater Patriae" to his beloved father, in the Imperial Mausoleum at whose feet then subsequently a large public ceremony was held in which tens of thousands of people attended.

Then moving to Via Trionfale (Triumphal Avenue), the high political and military officials of the State attended together with the international guests and with other tens of thousands of people the Great National Celebratory Parade, where together with hundreds of troops and units of the Armed Forces marched representatives of the agencies of public safety and assistance too.
In order, immediately after the large representatives of the Army, Navy, Air Force and National Gendarmerie, came the men of the State Police, the Financial Police, the National Fire Brigade, the Istalian Red Cross, the bodies of the local and national departments and the Civil Protection Agencies.

Then came the representatives of the Istalian cities, whose banners were preceded and interspersed by five city bands chosen by among the many present in Istalia.
Following came the official representations, men and women of charitable and voluntary associations, non-profit associations aimed at scientific, technology and social progress and therefore some social and assistance associations related to the two major religions of Istalia (Aurorian Hosianism and Ahmadism, of which there were the presence of both Abadi and Israi associations).

At the end of the great parade, the highest officials of the State set off for the city of Faro, an urban and technological Istalian jewel, where the Emperor, at the presence of representatives of different foreign nations too who wanted to participate to the celebrations, officially inaugurated the Great Technology Exposition where Istalia and many foreign nations have exhibited their technological excellences and achievements, presenting themselves with a multitude of pavillons arranged on long avenues that radially depart from the central Piazza della Sapienza (Knowledge Square), at the foot of the Tower of Istalians which still today, with its 1000 meters high, is still one of the tallest structures in the world and certainly remains an architectural, engineering and technological marvel.
The Exposition will be a glorious showcase for the great technological and scientific achievements not only of Istalia but of the whole world, an event that for the next six months, according to the organizing body, will attract at least 45 million people from all over the world.

In the evening, the Imperial House offered a large reception for institutional guests, Foreign Ministers, Heads of State and Government, held in the wonderful hanging gardens of the Tower of Istalians from where they were able to enjoy the unparalleled twilight view, a great parade of the units of the Navy right at sunset, the boundless panorama and therefore of the fireworks display over the sea which lasted almost an hour.

Istalian and Dolgavan common space program is proceeding rapidly and the AISA-DSA consortium is finalizing their new crewed spacecraft

Thunderous applauses at Mission Control of Paolo Tarso Space Center celebrated the success of the first launch test of the Space Launch Vehicle "Ballista" (in Selucian), the new space launcher jointly developed by AISA and DSA.

This first test saw the Ballista being launched in "Medium-lift" mode, capable of carrying a payload up to 24,000 tons into low orbit but which has been designed in further variants, namely the "Heavy-lift" and the "Super-Heavy lift" modes and which in the future will be able to bring the modules of the future "Unità" space station (Unity in Luthorian) into orbit, robotic probes for the exploration of the solar system, including an orbiter with a rover for the Red planet, and therefore, obviously, the crewed spacecraft under development by part of AISA and DSA.
The Ballista Lauch Vehicle has been developed according to the principles of modularity and Istalia and Dolgava shared the costs and the building efforts of the various components. Specifically, Dolgava has built and will build the rocket boosters, up to six in the Super-Heavy version, while Istalia will build the center core and its rocket engines.

About the capsule, the designers of both the space agencies already finalized its preliminary designer: it will be a reusable vehicle and will hold a crew of up to seven people and will be designed to be able to remain in-orbit for up to seven months with reusability of up to ten missions. It will be formed by two components: the Crew module and the Service module. Istalia will develop and build the Crew module while Dolgava will develop the service module. On the propulsion system of the spacecraft Istalia will put in place all its experience to support the partners in the development of this part of the ship, a task greatly requested by Dolgava wishing to increase their experience in this field.

About the Space Station, it will be called "Unità" (Unity in Luthorian) and will be formed by 4 modules: the Core module "Esploratore" (Explorer), the Experiment modules "Sapienza" (Wisdom) and "Zināšanas" (Knowledge) and the automated Cargo Module "Komēta" (Comet) which, however, docked or in free flying, will be used for further scientific experiments as well as to offer extra space to the Space Station for prolonged periods.
Like for the Ballista Lauch Vehicle and the Crewed Spacecraft, Istalia and Dolgava will share the burden of the development and construction of the several parts of the Space Station: Istalia will build the Core Module and the "Sapienza" Experiment Module while Dolgava will develop and build the "Zināšanas" Experiment Module and the "Komēta" Cargo Module. For the Komēta too Istalian technicians and engeneers will assist Dolgavan colleagues in developing the most delicate components of the module.

Finally, about the uncrewed exploration probes for the solar system, for which the Dolgavan involvement will increase with the increase of their know-how on space research and technology, the AISA already established a timetable with 3 already confirmed missions:
- the "Alsamet" Spacecraft will study the planet Jupiter and its moons, as well as several other Solar System bodies. It has been planned that the probes will remain into the Jovian system for years.
- the "Sol Lucidus" Spacecraft will be a Solar and Heliospheric Observatory to be placed into the Sol–Terra Lagrangian 1 point and will be devoted clearly to the study of the Sun.
- the Mars Orbit-Land Exploratory Mission will consist of the "Cavaliere Rosso" (Red Knight) orbiter, which clearly will remain in orbit, and the "Pionere Rosso" (Red Pioneer) rover which will reach the surface. Both of the component will conduct extensive scientific research of the planet.

The Left Bloc definitively abandons the path marked out by former Secretary General Leandro Bisso.



After electoral results far from satisfactory, in which the Left Bloc has lost support in the National Assembly and for the first time, it has ceased to be the first force in the Senate, its Secretary General Alessia Soldato has made a surprising announcement: Aristarco Azzara, until these elections, President of the Senate, will become co-secretary general of the party, standing at the same level as her. In this way, both leaders will decide the strategy to follow after these elections, where it seems a difficult negotiation to form a government, but no progressive government is expected in sight.

Given this news, the federal committee of the party has decided to permanently bury the centrist and institutional legacy of Leandro Bisso and return to the origins of the party: Aristarco Azzara will be in charge of redesigning a more aggressive and radical strategy to be followed by the party in the Assembly during the next legislature.

"Until now we have been following a strategy that sought to unify the two souls within the party, as you all know,"

said Mrs. Soldato to her followers after learning the results.

"However, these electoral results confirm what we already knew: we must be inflexible with the extreme right, because otherwise, they will engulf and destroy everything. That is why I have asked my friend Aristarco [Azzara], whom you all know and who has done a great job as President of the Senate, to join me in the task of leading this party and that together, we shall redesign a strategy that allows us to effectively face the next legislature that is coming to us, and that unfortunately , will not be easy for many citizens of our nation, who will suffer in their flesh the policies of the extreme right, supported by those who prefer to look the other way than to stand up to them. But we are going to stand up to them. We will do it from the same moment that our deputies take possession of their seats, because from here we come out stronger than ever. "

At the moment not much has transpired from this new political program that is coming, but according to important party leaders, this could be the moment when the Left Bloc is located more to the left of its entire history.

From what has transpired, it is known that republicanism will once again be a central axis of the Left Bloc policy, although they will continue to give more weight to social republicanism than to republicanism as a form of state in the face of the apparent lack of support for the latter. In addition, the Communist faction of the party will count for the first time with two representatives in the Federal Committee, which will put many of the communist ideas on the front page of the new strategy to follow.

Istalia warns Zardugal and fully support Deltaria
Foreign Minister expresses its concerns for the relations between Haldor and Beleco: "further support and military presence in Zardugal won't improve talks about improving relations and won't be accepted"

ROMULA - The Istalian Foreign Minister this moorning convened the press because forced to express the Istalian concerns about the recent tensions in southwestern Majatra caused by the claims by part of Zardugal on Lake Majatra, the Istalian full support for Deltaria and furthermore to report that also the Government of Dorvik has been contacted to express Istalian concerns for the recent relations established between Haldor and Beleco.

Istalia underlined clearly to the Government of Zardugal that its claims on the Lake are totally in conflict with the international laws regulating the jurisdiction of nations on body of water, recalling one of the most ancient and most recognized piece of international law, the Law of the Sea.
Demanding the respect of international laws, Istalia expressed also the possibility to impose sanctions against Zardugal in case should not come changement in the current foreign policy by Beleco.

Furthermore, Istalia clearly criticized the claims by part of Zardugal on the neighbouring nations, called "province" of its empire in spite of the sovereignty of these nations which jurisdition and claims on the Lake are regulated by the international law exactly like those of Zardugal.

But the Istalian Foreign Ministry was also forced to get in touch with Dorvik expressing concerns about the recent relations established between Beleco and Haldor.
Istalia, said the Foreign Minsiter, really hopes that when Dorvik said "The Augustan Empire is a sovereign nation and can do what it pleases" it is not supporting the unreasonable claims by part of Zardugal on Lake Majatra and that if should be this the case such statements can only be considered as in contradiction with the international laws, being Lake Majatra a body of water on which apply the already mentioned Law of the Sea which clearly underlines what nations can claim on body of water, and obviously Istalia really hopes, continued the Minister, that Dorvik doesn't support the claims about Zardugal on its neighbouring nations, as mentioned, called as province of Zardugal.

Minister Falchi thus expressed great concerns about the decision by Dorvik to have relations with what showed to be an aggressive and sciovinist regime and that Istalia was forced to express to Dorvik that if Haldor think to establish any sort of military presence in Zardugal or bring defensive support to such a regime, like the export of military technology and devices in Zardugal, this course of action will be not accepted by the Majatran community and that such behavior could be seen just as a support for a nation which is threatening peace and stability in the continent.

Foreign Minister explained, thinking to possible complaints, that this situation cannot be handle like the recent crisis ignited by the Kazulian excercises in Majatra alongside Kalopia, because neither Kazulia or Kalopia expressed goals threatening the rights and the sovereignty of other majatran nations like Zardugal did. For this reason a Dorvish military presence in Zardugal would be seen also by Istalia, this time, as a move which could greatly undermine peace and stability in Majatra. The Foreign Minister was clear on this: "we are not talking just about bilateral relations between two nations because the behavior by part of Zardugal is already threatening the stability and security of third nations".

The Minister, finally, said that Istalia considered as unfortunate such moves on the eve of a visit by part of the Prime Minister of Dorvik in Romula, requested by Haldor to talk about peace, stability and increase in trade and exchanges between Artania and Majatra, because such moves cannot be considered as something promoting peace and stability and that Istalia really hopes that Dorvik could reconsider to whom agree its support in order to further devolop relations with Istalia and the Majatran continent through a cordial and cooperative stance. Istalia, as expressed during the bilateral dialogues already carried out with Dorvik, is more than pleased to talk about improvement of relations and trade to promote peace and stability, something to which Istalia showed countless of time to be fully devoted, but, facing such events, Romula cannot but wonder if Dorvik is aimed by the same intent.

ROMULA - Foreign Minister Montefalchi announced that Istalia has to show all its discomfort after the response by both the Governments of Zardugal and Dorvik.

Dorvik reiterated its right to pursue relations with a dictature threatening peace, stability, sovereignty and rights of third nations in southwestern Majatra, "a sad and unfortunate response to the concerns expressed by Romula, Čachtice and Bier Qassem", said Minister Montefalchi, which opposed also the view by Dorvik which is considering such relations with Zardugal as "bilateral relations about which other nations should not care", reiterating the fact that the behavior by Zardugal is already threatening the rights of other nations and are showing to be a threat for the whole area.

The Minister said about Zardugal:

The individuals which is calling himself "Emperor of the Augustans" did nothing to try to appease tensions and indeed he still called Lake Majatra as "the Zardugal pond" or "a domestic body of water", in spite of the rights of Deltaria, Cobura, Jakania and Jelbania.
For this reason, facing such unreasonable and threatening behavior we expelled the Zardic diplomatic staff from Istalia, recognizing that we are trying to "negotiate" with a reckless leadership leading a new rogue dictature, and the Government proposed to our National Assembly the adoption of sanctions against the Leadership of Beleco.

The Minister, furthermore, expressed concerns about the judgment abilities by part of Dorvik in recognizing dictatures after that Haldor authorities called indeed Deltaria itself as a dictature when Deltaria established clear constitutional laws to defend the democratic form of government, even at local levels limiting the power of the Duchies, clearly underlining the symbolic role of the Czar and the Noble Major families and enhancing the role as Leader of the Executive of the Prime Minister, expressed by the Parliament.
Foreign Minister Montefalchi was quite disturbed by the response by Dorvik, replying that:

There are no law in Deltaria barring criticisms against the government, there are no law infringing freedom of people, like religious freedom or freedom of speech, something that indeed exists in Zardugal. In Deltaria indeed there are clear constitutional laws barrying anyone, even the Czar, to undermine the democratic form of the govenrment, where the executive expressed by the democratic elected parliament leads the nation, something that doesn't happened at all in Zardugal and everyone can easily verify it reading their laws.

And, in the end, to be honest, I don’t think Dorvik is into the position to judge which nation is or not a democracy, not when in Dorvik there are laws strinctly enforced since long time which forbid and persecute individuals and parties which doesn't please to the social nationalistic hegemonic political leadership from parteciping to the political life of the country, and which opposes any "liberal insurgence" from undermining what is actually an extremely conservative social-nationalistic country, a country even criticized by international organizations aimed to monitoring the democratic principles all over the world. Maybe Dorvik whishes a remind about all the political movements banned? Socialists, Liberals, Anti-Monarchicals, and so on and so on... I don't think I have to continue to describe the farce that it's the "democracy" in Dorvik, so Haldor cannot even DARE to to say to Istalia which nation or regime is or not a democracy.
Dorvik can only learn from Istalia about what is a democracy! Clearly in Haldor they have "lost" some page from the "D" section of their dictionaries! We take no lessons from them, this is certain!

Minister Montefalchi, showing the Istalian pride, authority and susceptibility when talking about Democracy, really among the few nations which can boast a millennial true democratic tradion, continued the press conference clearly stated that with such behavior any talks about peace, trade and stability would be useless and that the Dorvish Prime Minister it is not at all forced to come in Romula to talk. Istalia didn't beg nobody and indeed we showed to be more than pleased to be able to talk about peace, trade and stability, but with such conditions it is impossible for Romula to welcome the Dorvish Prime Minister if his country is led by such goals:

Majatra doens't need at all such external influence, it doens't need a foreign power backing a chauvinist and aggressive dictature which is bringing just troubles and instability. Dorvik with such behavior can only produce in the future unstability and discomfort, not only for Istalia after that several other nations clearly already stated such feelings about Zardugal and such externa support and I don't think Dorvik could pretend to say what Majatran nations feels or what they wishes or not.
Istalia, as said, showed to be cooperative and open to talk with everyone but we must recognize the same cooperative behavior by part of our interlocutors and most important Istalia cannot risk to undermine the security and the stability of our continent: this will be always our priority, even if Istalia itself should risk to lose some trade opportunity or undermine other national interests.

Finally the Foreign Minister which reiterated the need of a stronger cooperation between the Majatran nations, something that Istalia alongside Deltaria and other nations, like Badara, is progressively building through economy, trade and future further cooperation.

Istalian partecipation will be limited to the Security Council and the Foreign Minister explained the decision criticizing the useless diatribas within an organization by now ineffective and stripped of any sort of power and the future adoption of new strategies to protect security of Istalia and its partners

WORLD CONGRESS - This moorning the Istalian Ambassador to the World Congress Saul Levi announced that Istalia will retire its partecipation from the debates into the General Assembly and that the country activity will be limited to the Security Council.

The decisions came after a speech into the General Assembly with which the Istalian Government finally criticized the tendencies by now expressed into the General Assembly, tendency to undermine the supremacy and primacy of the international law facing the national sovereignty.

The Foreign Minister said:

National sovereignty without the supremacy and primacy of the international law is nothing but the "law of the strongest" and in such state any nation will be simply free to do whatever they want, even to pursuing the most horribles crimes against humanity just claiming the respect of their national sovereignty and their right to rule their domestic affairs without intromission, even if, as said, we are talking about persecuting minorities or developing weapons to be used against domestic and foreign enemies.

This is the world they want? All such hypocrital nations really want to see what means the law of the strongest? If this is what they wish Istalia will adopt all the measures we will judge as adeguate to assure the security of our country and its partner facing such state of the international relations, strategies which will be soon announced.

Istalia doesn't hide its discomfort seeing nations that are using the national sovereignty to shield their hegemonic goals and which talking about global stability are just hidding their personal and egoistic intent to increase their influence, aimed just to find a place under the sun.

It came also accusation by part of Istalia against some nations which indeed are trying litterarly to destroy the World Congress and mainly its Security Council, already stripped of many of its powers, as underlined the Istalian Ambassador with another speech into the Security Council profiting of the announcement by part of Dorvik into the Security Council of the conclusion of the investigation by part of Ostland about the chemical weapons in Bianje.

The speech before the Security Council was probably even harsher and the Ambassador expressed all the discomfort and the disappointment by part of Romula for the situation in which SC finds itself denouncing all the hypocrisy leading the actions of all these nations, even those who used the most kind and "phylosophical" words, considered just as "sugar to sweeten the pill".

Of course, the move came after the recent crisis opened by Zardugal, unfortunately backed up by the words by Dorvik about Zardugal rights on its sovereignty, which are showing once again how with the excuse of the "national sovereignty" a nations is trying to carry out its personal goals and interests even infringing indeed the veritable national sovereignty of other nations.
