50th anniversary of the foundation of the Empire
Grand parade held in Romula and celebrations all over the country which celebrates also the new greatness reached by Istalia

1 September 4621

ROMULA - A fresh and beautiful spring day characterized the festivities organized to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Foundation of the Istalian Empire, which saw above all Romula splendidly decorated for the occasion and where was held a large grand parade of the Armed Forces and the other civilian corps of the state, like the State Police, the National Fire Brigade, the Istalian Red Cross and so on, women and men who marched at the shade of millennia-old monuments of the city, acclaimed by the thousands of citizens came to Romula for the celebrations.

In the first hours of the Day, His Majesty with most part of the Court and the highest State Officials reached the Imperial Mausoleum where was held a public solemn cerimony which saw Emperor Alessandro placing a flower crown close to the Well of Reverence looking Michele I's porphyry sarcophagus, flanked by the Prime Minister, the President of the National Assembly, the Archchancellor of the Empire and the Prince of the Crown Nicola.

Around 10 a.m. the procession of authorities moved north to Quattroregni Palace, in the southermost point of the large San Callisto Park which occupying most part of the same-name district. The site was chosen few months before as the one where build the Altar of the Empire, a monumen to celebrate the legacy of the Empire and of the Imperial Istalia.
For the occasion, on the site, just outside the large baroque gates to the park, it was realized a platform where the authorities took place to made their speech before thousands of people crowding the round square in front of the park gates.
Here His Majesty, made this speech:

A warm greeting to you all - everyone! - those present here who have flocked to celebrate this solemn anniversary together or those who are listening us from afar. Greetings to those listening at home and to those listening abroad.
A thought of gratitude to all: to all the Istalian people, who in these fifty years have operated, and worked, with sacrifice and with love, here among us and in so many parts, istalians, here and in the world, always for Istalia... Always for Istalia!

1 September 4571 - the Istalian people, with a free, personal, secret vote, by universal suffrage, the Istalian people chosed, as a new institutional form of the State and as a true new beginning of its history, the Empire.
It was like taking the sum of more than two decades of immense efforts to rise from the ashes of almost four years of war destroying men and things and years of liberation struggle.
Thus the first goal was reached.

Yes, because by making confident in this new era of its history, Istalia has succeeded in subsequently achieving many other goals that we celebrate today with pride and joy, all together.
Today we celebrate the men and women who by rigth have become part of the greatest names of the history of Istalia, new founding fathers, and obviously, first of all, we must remember Emperor Michele, whose memory we have honored a few hours ago, a man who, like few others, inspired the nation and who, like few, earned love and perpetual respect.

A new democracy, a new state, a new era, which brought prosperity, stability, prestige to Istalia and its people. 50 years that have seen so many great events and so many great triumphs made possible thanks to the ingenuity and the indefatigable temper of so many Istalians who have really shone at home and abroad, bringing luster to all of us.

In these 50 years, Istalia has still shown all its sensitivity and compassion for the fate of men and women all over the world and its faith in those inalienable rights of man that has always characterized our Country and that it has also inevitably shaped the new institutions of the Empire. An Empire of Tolerance, an Empire founded on plurality, an Empire devoutly and sacredly devoted to the defense of democracy and the rights of its citizens.

And it will be precisely in this place that a monument will rise to celebrate our new Empire, which will celebrate its values and the greatness it has brought to our great and beautiful Nation and which I hope will solemnly become a witness to many other years of munificent prosperity and that can inspire future generations and always remember to everyone the principles on which our nation and its institutions are founded.

Long live Istalia, Long live the Empire!

Around afternoon all the authorities moved to the city center to attend the Grand Parade reached the Podium of Honor in the middle of the large avanue hosting the Parade.
Around the Empiror and his consort, there were on the right the Prime Minister Leo Tomassi, the Chef of Defence Staff, the President of the National Assembly, the Chefs of the Armed Forces Staff and then all the other Ministers of the Empire; on the left by Grand Princes Nicola and Josephine, the Empress Mother Valentina, then the Archchancellor of the Empire, the Imperial Chancellor, and the Great Chamberlain continuing with other members of the Imperial House. To fill the Podium there were finally many members of the Parliaments, obviously the most important political leaders, other state officials, burocrats, and so on.

At the same hours but all over Istalia, in large and small towns and cities, celebrations of all kinds took places and several cities profited of the anniversary to host trade fairs and festivals. The Tower of Istalians, in Faro, welcomed the first lights of the sun shining with the colors of Istalia and at the end of the day still was glowing, hosting what was called "The Biggest and Highest Party of the Century", culminated with a 20-minute immense fireworks display.
Even on "Base Prosperità", the istalian habitable module on the moon, the day was celebrated and the AISA announced the first bottle of sparkling wine uncorked on another heavenly body, by the crew of Pegaso 7.

The celebrations for the authorities continued and finished in Quattroregni Palace where they attended first a reception in the Palace's gardens and then, in the night, the State Banquet held in the Halls of the Palace.

FLAME OF THE ALLIANCE
Official National Alliance for the Empire's newspaper

Stefano Terenzi appointed as new Foreign Minister of the Istalian Empire: "Stability and peace for the Istalians. This government will ponder much more carefully how and when to intervene internationally"
Image
Stefano Terenzi, new Foreign Minister of the Istalian Empire

Tomassi's cabinet finally achieved to gain the confidence of the National Assembly so to be able to swear before Emperor Alessandro at Quattroregni Palace. Within the new Government the Ministries of Science and Technology, of Environment and Tourism and the one of Foreign Affairs were reserved to the National Alliance. The ones to control the three ministries will be respectively Nadir Odeh, Valeria Paoletti and Stefano Terenzi, new leader of the party.

The new Foreign Minister of the Empire said that this new Government will be focused on stability and peace for Istalia and Istalians. This Government will ponder much more carefully how and when to intervene internationally.

To promote stability for Istalia, and we have to recognize this to the previous Prime Minister Mossadeq, we must actually work for the stability first of all of eastern Majatra. For this reason we will continue the dialogue established with Kafuristan by the previous government.

But now that Prime Minister Leo Tomassi will lead this government on the path of great economic reforms, which will liberalize the economy and will promote greater investments domestically as well as from abroad, the Foreign Minister will must work also on establishing new fruitful treaties with foreign partners promoting free trade and increasing commerce.

Questioned about the major international crisis, the Prime Minister started talking about Vanuku said quite cinically:

Vanuku is defending its borders. It is all! Istalia would have adopted same resolute measures too if our borders would be attacked, looted and preyed on by raiders, predons and militants from a neighbouring country fell litterally on the chaos and unable to prevent such situation. Currently there is not government in Barmenistan, currently some kind of authority doesn't exist in Barmenistan and nobody is stopping the militants and the predons carrying out raids in north Vanuku.

We would like suggest to Majatran nations involved to work to assure a stable government in Barmenistan, for the well being of Barmenians and all the people leaving around the area and, of course, for the well being of the whole continent. We don't need nations failing in the chaos, we don't need wars, we don't need nothing of that. What we need is stability and peace for the continent and... probably Vanuku will be able to solve quickly this issue by itself.

About the escalation in north Dovani between Kazulia and Dankuk, instead, the Foreign Ministry said this:

It is unfortunate that Kazulia is once again under a new threat. This time, however, from abroad, from its neighbouring nation of Dankuk. We really hope that the situation will find a diplomatic solution for the sake of the international relations and international trade, which is growing again after a long period of global general crisis.

However, I cannot fail to express solidarity to Kazulia which is now responding to a massive and unreasonable deployement of Dankukin forces close to the borders and a unreasonable and unresponsable externation of hostility by part of Supreme Commander of the Imperial Army of Dankuk who showed to be quite paranoid about hostile intentions by part of Kazulia, an hypothesis which we consider rather inexistent now that Kazulia is fully focused on rise again from the ashes of the fascist regime.
Indeed, istalia judges Dankuk as only driven by a dangerous desire to compete with hostility with its neighbors, a desire expressed by the "God" Empress of Dankuk and used as populist propaganda to reinforce support for the regime.

The Dankuk government is putting at risk the peace and stability of entire nations for their own national propaganda and regime interests... this is a truly irresponsible foreign policy that I think will have serious consequences and repercussions, first and foremost on the Dankukin people.

Il Blocco becomes the most voted party but the right will rule Istalia
The left loses for the first time in decades its majority in the National Assembly and only retains power, in a minority, in three regions.

Image
Simonetta Giuliani after the election results

Despite having become the most voted party in the last general elections and having won two Governorships (Trivendito and Sarregna), the Left Bloc has seen how their chances of forming a government with the other parties on the left have been reduced to ashes after the right won the absolute majority in the Chamber.

After almost three decades of leftist governments, the Istalian electorate has taken a sharp turn and has granted a large absolute majority to the various right-wing elections represented in the National Assembly, after it was decided to call early elections after the dissolution of the Istalian Communist Party. In this way, the conservative alliance will control both the National Assembly and the five regional Assemblies, since although three of them have obtained a progressive governor (Sarregna and Trivendito for the Left Bloc, Silicia for the Socialists), in none of them the progressive parties have obtained the majority, having to govern this legislature in the minority with specific support, which will greatly hinder regional management.

After knowing the results, Simonetta Giuliani, who underwent her first test as a new General Secretary of the Left Bloc, appeared before the media:

"Although the Left Bloc has managed to become the most voted political force in Istalia, I cannot be happy with the results, because what they show is that, despite everything, the left has for the first time lost its decades dominance in the Assembly and therefore, there is a time of cuts in social rights and economic benefits for the upper class, because that is how the citizens of our nation have voted. Now is when, during the next years of the legislature, since Il Blocco we are going to make the strongest opposition to the new government that, surely, will be formed among the conservatives. As the most voted party, we will exert our full influence to show our disagreement towards the policies that citizens will for sure experience in these years that are coming, but I also want to ask the National Alliance and the Lega Giusnaturalistica if they are willing to, to reach power, agree with the far right of the Istalian National Party, and thereby demonstrate their true ideology. "

Asked about whether her party could consider a possible abstention to allow a conservative government but to prevent the entry of the far right, Mrs. Giuliani has been blunt:
"We will never allow a right-wing government, either by action or omission. Citizens have voted, and although they have clearly demonstrated their majority support for Il Blocco, an alliance of losers will send us to the opposition. They will see how they explain it: We could also request an abstention from the conservative parties to allow the most voted party to govern, but parliamentary democracy does not work that way: here the one who manages to obtain the necessary support rules, and everything points to that in the coming weeks or months we will have a new prime minister who, for the first time in decades, will not be from the socialist party, nor will he come from the most voted party in the elections."

The secretary general has also said that she has already spoken with Pietro Reggio, who has congratulated her on her results, where she has obtained the most votes for the party since its creation, but has lamented that this time the former astronaut will not get to see his dream come true with a Prime Minister of Istalia from the Left Bloc. Similarly, she has asked conservatives to respect social consensus in relation to the rights of women and social minorities, and has ended by saying that they are not going to allow the Italian society to take a single step back.

She has also announced that she renounces her right to form a government as the most voted party when it is clearly established that there is no feasible majority of parties with which Il Blocco can agree, and has taken the opportunity to congratulate the leader of the Lega, whom she considers the future Prime Minister now.

The atmosphere at the national headquarters, after the initial euphoria, was resigned to the reality: the right would return to govern in Istalia after progressive decades.

Tension in the National Assembly
The deputies of the Left Bloc choose alternative speeches to swear their office before the new Emperor

Image
Moment of the oath of allegiance of some blocist deputies

The change of Emperor in Istalia after the death of the previous one has been once again a reason for tension in the National Assembly, this time due to the oath of allegiance that the deputies have to make.
The whole day went by normally until it was the turn of the first deputy of the Left Bloc, Marco Virretti. Mr. Virretti, after swearing allegiance to the Emperor, has added “for legal imperative and imposition of the State”, a phrase that the rest of the members of Il Blocco have repeated one by one when their turn arrived, including the leader of the opposition Simonetta Giuliani and the leader of the Assembly itself, Minerva Totti. However, the tension has been greater when a group of 11 deputies from Il Blocco have even come to totally change the oath, using instead the phrase “I swear to keep loyalty to the Istalian Constitution and the State authorities and work to build a nation of the people”, but without mentioning the word“ Republic ”at any time. At that time, some deputies of the conservative government have risen to protest the President of the Assembly, who has taken the oath to be valid when considering that “to maintain loyalty to the Istalian Constitution implies de facto to maintain loyalty to the Emperor, established by the latter as Head of state". The new Emperor watched the whole scene with a firm face. The situation has reached more when the new governor of Sarregna, Virone Trombino, has refused to go to the reception with the Emperor along with the other state authorities.

On leaving, the secretary general of the Left Bloc, Simonetta Giuliani, has claimed to support the oath made by all the deputies of her parliamentary group, the largest in the Assembly after its victory in the last elections.

“I don't think we can be reproached for anything. Each and every one of our party's deputies has complied, in one way or another, with what is required: to keep loyalty to the Emperor, something that, ultimately, is to keep loyalty to our Constitution. In a democratic state we cannot be prevented from expressing our ideals as long as they respect freedoms, something that we clearly fulfill. I am more concerned that the government is busy dismantling the welfare state of our nation, privatizing the health, education, energy systems of our nation, cutting workers' rights to empower large companies ... that's what should worry us, and not the way they swear one or the other ”

The General Secretary has also taken the opportunity to send her condolences in the name of her paty to the Imperial family for the death of Emperor Alessandro I.

As Emperor, we cannot support his figure. We do recognize, however, his labor in representing our nation at the international stage and his commitment with his duties as Head of State. May he rest in peace

GENERAL STRIKE: THE LEFT ALONGSIDE THE TRADE UNIONS TO PROTEST AGAINST THE REFORMS BY THE RIGHT
Image

This moorning the main cities of the Empire have been litterarly blocked by the general strike called by the major istalian trade unions prompted by the initiative by Rania Mossadeq, former Prime Minister and leader of the Socialists & Democrats. The General STrike brought on the streets thousands of workers to protest against the reforms that the right government led by Leo Tomassi is adopting.
Former Prime Minister flanked the Secretaries of the trade unions alongside several other exponents of the left in the march organized in Romula which will converge under the windows of the Office of the Prime Minister.
She met the journalist alongside the march and these were her words:

We are protesting alongside the workers for which for decades we worked to assure dignity, fairness, opportunity and social justice. The current government is actually stamping out all what we did. It is shamefull!
In the next months a lot of our citizens will be without any health assistance, many will be not able to purchaise pharmaceutical drugs and many other will see their income litterarly drained by assurances and other health costs. What was one of the most advanced Health care system in the world has been demolished for the profit of private corporations which will profit on the skin of the people and without regulations they will impose anything to their customers, many probably will have not an insurance because refused by the insurance company. This Government is playing with the health and the well beingof our citizens.
Citizens and workers! Yes! Because S&D today is here foremost to support the workers, the other great victims of the terrible policies by the right: the workers will be at the mercy of their employers, their right to strike will be limited, the public employees today have not the right to strike too! Furthermore, the workers will be at the mercy of the markets and the private profits without concrete social protection, without any minimum income regulations, without anything of anything.
And for too many social issue this government simply washed its hands devolving matters that must be handle by the government to assure to every citizens the same services but that today they must hope that their local government will have the funds but with the recent unresponsable cuts to the budget public since now will have a lot of problem to fund anything else and they must hope that their regional authorities will have the will to fund a local welfare. This devolution mania showed the last epilogue: some regions and their citizens will have social protections, other not at all and it is unacceptable. I hope those who pusshed so much for further devolution now are happy with the current situation.
Now, what is certain it's that we will continue to work and fight against these unresponsable policies, we will continue to really defend the workers and boast our social and democratic ideas.

The former PRime Minister however after having attacked all the government focused on one of the government parties namely the National Alliance to which she said:

We made pression on the ANI, its leader and on the Minister of Science and Technology to continue to invest in the space program and in the projects by the AISA. The Leader of teh NAtional Alliance assured us that they would have continued the work made on the space research sector by the previous governments but after the cut on the budget the AISI will have serious problems in pursuing on his projects and programs. We hoped that at least the cleaver of this government would have spared such a prestigious sector but we were wrong and probably we were wrongalso in have confidence in the ANI.

Minister Odeh presents the new National Space Policy
The AISA will contract and subcontract to private companies promoting the full exploitation of public and private capacities and their cooperation and coordination
Image

9 May 4623

CARLO MANERBA AISA SPACE CENTER - The Minister of Science and Technology Nadir Odeh yesterday was at the site launch of the AISA attending the launch of the Pegaso 12 with the first the crew that will live for an entire months in the habitable module on the surface of the Moon at the landing site of the Pegaso 8, known as "Base Prosperità", located in a crater near the south lunar pole renamed in this way by the Istalian explorers for the large ammount of water ice found in the site, which gives hope for future and more longer and stable missions and settlements.

Minister Odeh then met with the press taking advantage of both responding to criticism from former Prime Minister Rania Mossadeq and the opposition in general, and to promote the new decree law to reform the entire Istalian space policy.

What is denouncing the opposition is ridiculous! This government is neither pulling back from space exploration, nor is it "selling off" the AISA to large corporations. Istalia will continue to explore space and I would also like to point out that none of the programs already compiled by the AISA have been canceled.
Instead, we will give new impetus to the scientific research of the country: the AISA will continue to conduct the main space exploration missions, such as the Pegaso program, but at the same time will subcontract different services and research & development programs to third parties, like istalian companies specialized in the sector, as well as research consortia of various kinds and so on, which I am sure will demonstrate to possess high ingenuity, scientific, technological as well as productive capabilities.

I announce that the Ministry and the AISA have been working for months and that we will be ready before the end of the year to launch the first tenders for various programs that we consider strategic.
A new type of Universal Docking System will be developed, a new spacecraft for manned flights and a new family of rockets to be developed by a private company and to which we would like to subcontract the trade missions in the earth's orbit, offering above all the service either to governmental, scientific and commercial third parties.
In addition, the AISA will provide funding to be dedicated to third-party scientific projects in a wide range of scientific and technological research subjects.
Istalia will continue to invest in space and research, but simply the State will no longer have a monopoly on the sector. And I assure you that by trusting and cooperating with the skills and dynamism of the private sector, we will continue to take the space adventure even further by saving and with truly shared benefits.

Furthermore, I conclude by saying that it is my firm intention to break the paradigm of the single effort in favor of a coordinated effort with other countries and other space agencies. This will derives from my conviction that space should be considered as something belonging to all humanity and that it is highly ethical and beneficial to cooperate and explore space together as Men of all the nations of the world.
For this reason in the coming days I will work to get in touch with third governments to offer the cooperation of Istalia which currently, and I do not believe to be pride saying this, is the most active and advanced nation in space, probably today the one with the most advanced scientific and technological skills.
The new AISA administration aims to create an International Space Council made up of exponents of the space agencies of the participating countries which will coordinate the efforts for a new and very ambitious project: a Lunar Space Station. The Frontier Space Station is almost finished, gentlemen, and it is a unique installation: its very elliptical orbit makes it a perfect "train" and "springboard" for space exploration and above all lunar exploration. With another station of this kind around the moon, the costs of transferring people and materials will become paltry! It will be enough to perfectly coordinate the times of the orbits of the two stations to really use extremely minor quantities of propellant for lunar journeys. And finally, this Lunar Station would become a springboard for the exploration of the external solar system.

Istalia is not renouncing anything, instead we will reach new heights, as also wished by the recently passed Emperor Alessandro, who showed so much enthusiasm for the Pegaso 5 historic feat and to whom the Ministry will dedicate the future "Alessandro I National Space Control Center", from which will be coordinate all the future extraterrestrial missions, while the well known large AISA site launch will be renamed "Paolo Tarso AISA Space Center", to honor instead the one that many in Istalia consider as the father of the new Istalian space adventure.

Thanks

Extraparliamentary proposal came into the Parliament and it is about to be approved!
Health care public programs about to be reintroduced by a combined vote of the opposition with the two minor government partners ANI and PNI
Image
The hemicycle of the National Assembly

8 May 4623

ROMULA - Rarely other so much ambitious popular proposals achieved to reach the parliament and even more rarely they have found so much consensus to turn it into a bill ready to be approved by the National Assembly.

In fact, from the committees of the newly founded Social Liberal Party, a proposal for a popular law has been presented to the National Assembly committees and which, supported by several parties, was presented by an independent as a proposal of law simply called Health Care.

The proposal is now certain it will be approved and thus the Parliament soon will demand the reintroduction of a health care program, although dedicated only to low incomes, but which in part will undermine the great health reform by Prime Minister Tomassi which had totally privatized the sector. The Government will therefore soon be forced to organize and implement a new public healthcare program that, in addition to health services, will provide subsides for pharmaceutical drugs for people with low incomes and will restore an active national health and safety legislation in all areas of industry.

Actually, within the National Alliance for the Empire many exponents already expressed to the leader Stefano Terenzi their discomfort about stamping out any form of health care in the country while regarding the Istalian National Party, being a party close to the social right, even within it many will probably have felt to be too overwhelmed by big capital and excessive liberal policies.

Now, many are waiting for the reaction of the Prime Minister Leo Tomassi for this move by part of ANI and PNI which as said are undermining actually an important part of the reforms promoted by the Government.

The new spokesman for the Left Bloc calls for confrontation with the government
Mr. Buffo criticizes the laws passed by the current conservative government, which he accuses of revenge, and warns that he will have a hard tone

Image
Gianluca Buffo, new spokesman of the Left Bloc, in his swearing before the Emperor

The new spokesman for the Left Bloc, Gianluca Buffo, who has replaced Carola Vani this week, has already announced that he will maintain a "conflict" attitude towards the current government.

"Do not expect from me the condescension with which my predecessor in office has treated the current government. They have been charged with confronting the citizens, converting our welfare state into a state of privileges for the rich and hardships for the poor, they have carried out privatizations in all possible sectors, they have destroyed the public health of our nation, the research capacity ... All this justifying that "private companies can do better", but then I wonder why even the State exists, if currently our nation, thanks to the laws that the current government has approved, is nothing more than a cluster of large corporations that are at ease and that, also thanks to the laws approved by the current government, can make what they please with their workers, since they have been in charge of reducing the right to strike to a minimum, the possibility of negotiating a fair salary ... It is a shame what they have done with our nation, and they will hear it from my mouth whenever I can. They have destroyed everything that for decades has been built with great consensus in our nation in just a few years and thanks to the collaboration of different parties that the only thing they have in common, or so it seemed, is the desire for revenge towards previous governments. They have even destroyed the Space Agency, making it go from being a public entity and citizens' pride to an entity dependent on private financing. A great project in which Prime Minister Paolo Tarso and Minister of Science Pietro Reggio worked hard, and have even failed to deny Mr. Reggio by omitting him from any act. Another separate issue is the savage they have done with the tax reduction, and with the reduction in the nation's budgets. "

The new spokesman, who has also lashed out at "the coalition government's blows" for the support of two of the parties that form it to a health law on which they legislated in the opposite direction just a few years ago, has accused them of "opportunists politicians, "and has called on his party to cut off any institutional relationship with the current government.

From the direction of the party they have not come to value the words of Mr. Buffo, scrutinizing that it serves them to remain faithful to what the Federal Commission decides and to defend the values of the party in the National Assembly, although privately some deputies do share the concern for the new spokesman, elected by the militants with more than 75% of votes, who was one of those who during his swearing in office before the new monarch decided to swear allegiance to the Constitution instead of the Emperor, proceed of the youth of the party and that already in the past participated in anti-fascist demonstrations, and that has participated, together with numerous members of the party, in the general strikes called from the left in rejection of labor and social rights reforms carried out by the current government.

ROMULA - Quattroregni Palace recently released a note in which the Crown expressed its embarrassment and apologies for statements made by Empress Josephine just yesterday morning on the occasion of the inauguration of the Crown Hospital of Romula, the first of five hospitals funded by the Crown to be built in the regional capitals to be run in a no-profit way and which will offer free health services and ones at subsidized costs.

During a political moment as delicate as the current one, the Empress, furthermore even acting as Imperial Regent with His Majesty the Emperor abroad in an official journey, in fact, albeit naively, as also emphasized by the note issued by the Palace, has indirectly criticized the recent dismantling of the national health care system, statements followed by extensive digressions on Her Majesty's personal conviction in the right to health and free access to health care.
The major criticisms obviously arose from the ranks of the most liberal political forces and the newspapers certainly did not spare themselves in deepening the incident, making the episode a media event in an instant.
The Empress, actually, failed to maintain the impartial position above the political parts which the Crown must maintain, as well as the trust and institutional support to the current Government of the Empire.

The Crown, as mentioned, started since the last year and half, albeit discreetly, to finance charitable projects and philanthropic assistance, and among these programs, in fact, there is the network of the Crown Hospitals. Empress Josephine, as the internal sources report, was the mind behind these initiative, a true column of the whole program which she's closely following and coordinating.
The most reliable rumors report that the Empress had long expressed her doubts, obviously in a private form, for the profound reforms of the national welfare and the fate of many families struggling for the health expenses, doubts that emerged yesterday finally also in public form.

The Empress, a few hours after the note by Quattroregni Palace, issued an open letter written by her own with which she also apologized for the lack of institutional sensitivity in expressing what had to remain personal thoughts. The Empress also wanted to reconfirm and emphasize the fact that there was neither malice nor any political intent to discredit the Imperial Government.
Actually the Empress is well known for her loving and compassionate nature which on several occasions has led her actions and decisions. Sentiments forgivable by the people, but by politics?

Siderale and Magistro-Leonardi won the first AISA's contracts
Minister Odeh profited of the announcement to respond once again to the criticisms from the opposition

3 December 4623

ROMULA - As the Minister of Science and Technology Nadir Odeh announced in May, the first contracts of the AISA have been awarded before the end of the year.
These are two new projects whose development will be subcontracted to private companies by the new AISA administration. As announced a few months ago by the AISA, the agency has opted for a development progression on cornerstones to develop two distinct projects:
A crewed Commercial Vehicle which program's purpose is to cut the transfert costs to the Frontiera Space Station and encourage the development of manned vehicles of private companies launched in low earth orbit. Furthermore, such a spacecraft will be the most suitable to be used not only by Istalia but also by third parties to carry crews on other space stations. This new crew capsule will be more compact and cheaper than the Pegaso and, as said, is also aimed to serve privates on foreign markets too.
The second program will provides the development of an automated cargo module to reach Frontiera as well as also third parties' space stations and which, like the commercial crew capsule, will be the most advanced of its kind and the most cheaper.

Siderale and Magistro-Leonardi are the two corporations which won the two AISA's calls of tender, the former the one of the commercial crew capsule and the latter the one of the automated cargo module.
Magistro-Leonardi is a well know firm and a historical istalian giant multinational, on whose competences the AISA is sure that will have any about to complaint, while Siderale is an emerging company led by its visionary owner, Elia Marinetti, who own and manage also the largest istalian company specializing in renewable energy's technologies and which, with the recent liberalization of the energy sector, entered also in the market of the energy generation starting the construction of two new large solar power stations and three Nuclear one based on the well known Istalian-Malivian Torium-based reactors technology. Siderale, furthermore, seems to be close to finishing the development of its own rocket launchers and likely the companies will enter also in the market of the private space launchers.

AISA Director Giorgio Maria Lorenzetti talking with the press said that the AISA will have further time and resources to be dedicated to the deep space explorations while through cooperation with third parties Istalia will be able to maintain its current advantage on the space field promoting at the same time research and development of advanced technologies by part of the private actors exploiting the possibilities of the market and of the private management.
Minister Odeh, alongside AISA Director, instead, focused his words on responding to the criticism came from the opposition about the new policies adopted by the Government about the space exploration and the AISA.

They are accusing us of selling off the AISA and making it dependent on private funds. Once again I find myself defining similar words as "ridiculous"! Because the truth is quite different: actually the AISA will be the one which will finance the development programs. For every cornerstone reached by the winning companies, the AISA will provide millions of LIREs. Quite different from saying that the AISA will dependent on private funds!
Those companies will be able to develop excellent vehicles, which will give work to thousands of experts and workers and to a whole chain of suppliers that will give life to an entire private sector that will work alongside the public. The latter, instead, as already mentioned by Director Lorenzetti, will be able to fully dedicate itself to the exploration of the universe.
These companies will have the chance to become leaders in the sector and will be able to expand their horizons even outside Istalia, I am sure! Nothing was destroyed here and nothing was dismantled! Istalia can continue to be proud of the AISA but it will also be proud of the ingenuity of its citizens and entrepreneurs!

In conclusion of the meeting with the press, the Director Lorenzetti announced that next year the tenders will be launched for the development of the already announced New Universal Hooking System and therefore of a very ambitious program, the development of a Robotic Android for the Assistance in the Space to be sent along with the astronauts and help them in their tasks if not to replace them in the most dangerous ones.
This last project, as stated by Lorenzetti, will obviously take much longer, but has ensured that before the end of the decade we would have tested the first prototypes and we will have a unit in service on the Frontier.

AISA, instead, in addition to continuing to manage the Frontiera and the Pegaso missions, next year will finalize and present two new programs: the Lungimirante Program and the Esploratori Program. The first one will put in orbit in orbit of several space optical and radio telescopes for the observation of deep space while the second one will launch several probes to the other planets of our solar system carrying a lot of advanced survey devices and systems.
Finally, AISA will start to find foreign partners to establish some large international space observation sites on Terra equiped with several kind of large and advanced optical as well as radio telescopes.
