Il Blocco celebrates results and the entry into the government of the nation
The left party becomes the third force in number of votes, gets four ministries and will govern the Padagna region

Image
General Secretary of Il Blocco, Pietro Reggio, after the elections

Jubilee at the headquarters of Il Blocco after the election results, where it was found that there is a political space to the left of the Socialists that lacked representation, as well as all those progressive Republican voters who felt abandoned.

In the elections held in April 4506, the party founded by former astronaut Pietro Reggio has managed to break into the Assembly of Istalia with 96 seats and more than 4.5 million votes, which makes them the third political force by number of votes (just behind the Socialists and the Conservatives), although not having achieved a seat in either Trivendito or Sarregna has taken their toll, giving them a seat less than the National Republican Movement. In spite of this, at the party headquarters everything was joy, after finding that the Socialists, to stay in power and form a progressive government, would have to agree with them, making it to the government barely three years after its founding, in addition to having achieved the government of the Padagna region, where they won almost 40% of the votes and will govern supported by the Socialists, with whom they make up more than 70% of the votes issued in the region.

That's how it went. The Socialists, who classify Il Blocco as a "preferential partner", began the contacts immediately, and the structure of the new government was defined in a short time. Thus, Il Blocco becomes part of the government of Istalia occupying the ministries of Health and Social Services (Maria Tirso), Education and Culture (Pietro Reggio), Food and Agriculture (Virginia Trigi) and Environment and Tourism (Carola Vani). In this way, Secretary General Mr. Reggio, appeared before the media after the approval of the new composition of the government to make a statement:

"First of all, thank you very much to all those people, more than 4.5 million people, who decided to trust us, a party with just three years of life but that we hope will be many more years. It willbe an honor for me and for the rest of the party's comrades to be able to represent the citizens in the Assembly of our nation, where we will fight for the rights of all. It has been proven that there were some orphans who did not know who to vote because they felt that nobody represented them, and when we announced my withdrawal from the Space Agency of Istalia to enter politics, I did so with the conviction that we can build a better future together, and I remain fully convinced of it. But we have to work hard, and I can personally ensure that my colleagues and I will work hard to make it happen.

We have decided to accept a coalition government with the socialists because we think that, in the current situation, it is what most benefits the citizens. A progressive government, where we grant the necessary majority to make it so. To reach this agreement, we have already transmitted to the Prime Minister the central axes of our program: greater federalization of Istalia, granting more power to the regions in the face of the recentralization that some political parties intend; increase investment in health, education and science, to carry out programs and measures aimed at placing Istalia at the forefront of these three issues and to become a global benchmark; as well as carry out the protection of LGBT rights and of women. Similarly, we have also informed him of our disagreements, mainly those related to military issues, where we will not support any indiscriminate attacks against third nations, where the lives of civilians are at risk, and without all the rest have been exhausted tracks; as well as our firm commitment to republicanism, so that the members of the government belonging to Il Blocco will not take part in any act that has to do with extolling or promoting the figure of the Head of State not currently elected.

The Istalian Authority for Space and Aeronautics, or simply AISA, today announced to be ready to launch a new revolutionary rocket launcher in a few years. The AISA said that the future launcher will be a highly versatile and litterarly multipurpose. It will be used to launch satellites to low orbit until manned mission to leave the earth, although this version will be developed in next years and the first launch will be carried out to put in orbit a satellite. The new rocket will have many reautilizable parts, like the lateral boosters as well as the central main engine section. AISA assures that in future the single elements will be able to come back indipendently but for the moment the several reusable elements will be recovered from the sea. The AISA is focused on the programs wanted by Prime Minister Paolo Tarso but the agency didn't hide its intention to pursue also commercial activities, mainly to rise further resource from a market which sees ever more privates demanding for satellites launches as well as private research institution in need to place in orbit scientific devices.
AISA Director, talking about the new launcher, said that an important feauters of the new rocket is That fundamentally all the version have the exactly same elements and that the only differences will be the numbers of elements involved for every mission. In the next 5 years AISA will produce the two main version: the first one will be able to carry in orbit up to 10,400 kg and will be used mainly for commercial purposes while the second one, with more boosters, will be able to carry up to 21,500 kg and will be mainly used for the space program. The future version for manned mission is still in developing but AISA assures that this last version will really open the space to Istalia, able to launch a manned spacecraft to the moon and also to other planets of the system.
The new rocket launcher will be called "Atlante".

AISA Director, after the presentation of the new rocket launcher, met with Prime Minister Paolo Tarso in the Engines Laboratory Complex of Milona where many scientists with the cooperation of many companies are developing new engines for the new rocket which construction phases will be assigned to several corporations, mostly private while the public authority will oversee all the operations. Paolo Tarso, joking with the journalists, said that after all the money invested, and further funds have been allocated to science and technology by the last budgetary law
http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill. ... lid=604896, he really hope to see at least an Istalian astronaut in orbit.
Finally, prime Minister and AISA Director visited also the Space Research Laboratory of Norro where research are conducted for the development of several other technologies for the missions.

Il Blocco begins their government initiatives and corrects the Prime Minister
The Minister of Education Mr. Regio reminds Paolo Tarso that he is an astronaut and appears with several ministers to expose their parliamentary initiatives from their respective ministries

The Minister of Education and Culture, Pietro Reggio, engineer by profession and retired astronaut, this afternoon has corrected the Prime Minister Tarso, after the affirmations of this one that he hoped that, thanks to the improvement in the funds destined to research and science - promoted by Il Blocco della Sinistra - he "really hope to see at least an Istalian astronaut in orbit"

"Mr. Tarso, there have already been Istalian astronauts in orbit, and you have one sitting in your own Council of Ministers,"
he retorted wryly in the weekly press conference given by his political party.
"In any case, it is always good that these initiatives are promoted, and my party will support it seamlessly, because it is one of the fundamental pillars of our ideology: the improvement of science in Istalia."

Likewise, the Minister of Education has summarized the parliamentary initiative of his ministry, which will improve the scholarship system and will reward students who obtain good grades, regardless of their social class, as well as a proposal to return power to the regions through the transfer of competences in the matter of conservation and administration of museums and other historical groups. Along with him, the Ministers of Health and the Environment have appeared, both with parliamentary initiatives also in process. The first of them, Mrs. Maria Tirso, has presented in the National Assembly a series of laws directed towards the desprivatization of health, with the prohibition of private clinics and the improvement of public ones; in addition to the prohibition of surrogate pregnancy - with the argument of stopping the capitalist commodification of poor women - or the best regulation of drugs in the nation. For her part, the Minister of Agriculture Mrs. Virginia Trigi has proposed to the Assembly the decriminalization of the GM crops, since, from the point of view of the party, "there are sufficient scientific arguments to justify the end of their demonization".

Controversy in Padagna
The governor of the region (Left Bloc) announces the withdrawal of all the pictures of the Emperor from the regional councils and public entities where they are placed

ImageImage

The new governor of Padagna, Minerva Totti (Left Bloc), who with her victory in the 4606 elections put an end to 20 years of socialist government in the region, announced this afternoon through the social networks that she has formally informed the team of government the proposal to remove the portraits of the Emperor that are placed in public buildings that belong to the regional government.

The Governor has announced that this measure is due to the fact that it does not make sense to extend a figure of national scope such as the Emperor to the regional policy, where what matters are the citizens of a specific region.

In the streets, the controversial measure has found mixed reactions, with supporters and detractors almost equally.

"Instead of doing these things, they could carry out real policies,"
said Alessandro, a journalism student. Her friend Veronica, political science student, has corrected him
"that carrying out these things does not mean that they are not doing other policies, besides that it seems good to me that they remove the portraits of someone who has nothing to do with the politics of the region. "

Valeria, retired of 67 years, thinks that
"when you have nothing else to offer, you dedicate yourself to the policy of useless symbolism"
, and has taken the opportunity to criticize the continuity of leftist governments in the region, which she believes "will take us to ruin. "

Paolo, 45 years old and a language teacher, has said on the contrary that
"even the policy of symbols is useful to deal with things that we do not agree with"
.

The central government has not issued any response at the moment, and the Emperor's House remains silent with what happened.

PRIME MINISTER READY TO SUPPORT THE DDL FROM LEFT BLOC BUT THE PARTY COMPLAINTS

Prime Minister Paolo Tarso fund itself in troubles this period. The Government junior party Left Bloc began to present its proposals to the National Assembly to which the Prime Minister agreed when entered in coalition with the leftist party. However, among the benches of the Socialists & Democrats rose in recent days some complaints about the proposals. MP Zara Aquilani said the Prime Minister was not very transparent about the negotiations with Left Bloc and also some Ministers already had warned the Prime Minister about the concerns that the concessions to the junior party made rise among the party members. The major issue, actually, is the devolution proposal by Left Bloc Minister Pietro Reggio. The DDL was also criticized publicly by S&D MP Antonio Lavella who said that the bill is a betrayal of the long lasting efforts to grant a land to Istalia where everywhere there are same rights, same services same possibilities for all the citizens wherever they live in our country.
The Prime Minister, however, really pragmatically responded to the internal criticism:
I'm understand the concerns by members of my party but I must remember them that we live in a democracy and that in democracy compromises are obliged, not only to form a government, but to respect popular will. Our party didn't received an absolute majority and also if we needed few votes, also if we had a very large plurality, we had to respect the vote and the axpectative of ALLour citizens. I assure to our colleagues that the matter devolved will be always oversight by the central government to avoid abuses as well as dangerous drifting. It is the role of the government after all... And we will continue to fund them, we must underline it.

Someone within the party however is already proposing to exploit the dissolvement of the MNR to seize control of the government with the new absolute majority the party has now. The Prime Minister however even didn't want hear nothing else assuring instead that this Government will continue to govern the country until natural end of the legislature due to the fact thatthe dissolving of MNRdidnt affected at all the balance of power within the parliament.

Moreover the Prime Minister responded also to some questions by the pressbaout the initiatives by Left Bloc local government to remove the portrait of the Emperor from regional buildings. Also responding to this questions Paolo Tarso was very pragmatic.

I don't think there are laws that they could infringe. And weare not talking about judiciary courts, prefectures, police stations and so on. ABout me a portrait personally doesn't bother me... Actually our constitution and our state is organized in a determined form and as Istalian citizens that we must respect the law the constitutional office of our nation deserves the respect demanded. If a law doesn't like us this it does not justify to violate him. Obviously we are talking about law adopted by democratic methods and in democracy... it is always important to underline this due to the timeswe are living. The young after all are like that, I could remember the fire that can coursing jn the veins prompting strong actions and jnitiavies. I will not reproach them for this. And ultimaly after all they have the right to express also in such way their opinions but obviously everyone else has the right to express if agrees or not and other ones finally have the right to remain silvent. Respect, moderation and compromises are features and good habit to adopt within a democracy.

The response for the moment generated mixed feelings. Some appreciated the wisdom of the experienced Prime Minister, other his firmly intention to maintain cordial and respectous relation with Left Bloc. But there were alsonrgative responses and actually someone criticized this behavior as merely con descends while other ones welcomed the response as the one of a old wise grandpa maybe not more suitable for his role. Actually few party members sided for this last criticism which was marginalized, showing how the partystill remain respectous of his long lasting leader who show still to lead the party.

Finally Prime Minister responded to the leader of Left Bloc about his gaffe about the astronauts:

Well actually I intended to say an astronaut launched by the new AISA within the new space program... Mr Reggio has to forgive an old man that sometime can have some confusion...

And it closed the interview laughing.

The government of Istalia is tensed inside
Despite the good relationship of its leaders and the gratitude for supporting some proposals, within the government begin to emerge conflicts from both sides, including the Ministry of Health

Image
Maria Tirso, Minister of Health and Social Services (Il Blocco della Sinistra) in her office

While the personal relationship between the leader of the Socialists and Prime Minister, Paolo Tarso, and the secretary general of Il Blocco and Minister of Education and Culture, Pietro Reggio, are, according to themselves "excellent", it does not seem that this is the situation between other members of both parties.

A year and a half before the end of this legislature, the balance that is made from the leftist formation on the current government coalition is "generally positive", omitting certain aspects such as the opinion on the federalization of Istalia.

"If we agreed on everything, it would not make sense that there were two different political parties, yet what unites us is much more than what separates us," said a senior official in Il Blocco.

However, two issues have set the mood within the formation led by Pietro Reggio: the statements made by some members of the Socialists, who ask their leader Mr. Tarso to dissolve the current executive and lead a government alone thanks to the new majority that it has in the National Assembly after the dissolution of the Nationalist Revolutionary Movement, and more recently, the correction made by the Prime Minister in a decree of law presented by the Minister of Health, Maria Tirso, presenting in its place a new decree .

In relation to the new elections, the spokeswoman of Il Blocco has warned the socialists to "stop tacticism", and recalled that "what today is a majority, tomorrow may cease to be so."

"The Socialists also had a majority in the last legislature, and the irruption of our party forced them to open negotiations to form a majority government. The only reason they currently hold a majority in the Assembly is the dissolution of a political party, so from Il Blocco, as members of the government, we ask them to stop useless tacticisms, and if they really want to take their menace to the maximum, call elections to see if they would really get the majority. If done so but they still don't get a majority, we might have a problem. If therefore they are not sure about it, we ask them to forget absurd threats to a friendly political party, which is supporting the progressive policies that the nation needs, and focus on working together to achieve the well-being of our citizens. "

On the other hand, sources of the party have informed that the Minister of Health, Maria Tirso, is "upset" by the correction that the Prime Minister has made of his decree law without prior consultation. Although the Minister has not commented on the problem in a public way to avoid tensions within the government, close sources affirm that she feels "humiliated" by the way in which the socialists have carried out this change in the decree. While the initial proposal of the Ministry of Health included the prohibition of surrogate pregnancy and the elimination of GM products as "food to be labeled", two lines that Il Blocco had in his electoral program, the proposal of the Prime Minister has excluded both points , leaving only the offer of contraceptives in pharmacies and public toilets free of charge, the prohibition of private clinics and the offer of free public health, and the de-privatization of sports clubs.

"Mrs. Tirso feels discredited" have been confirmed from her ministry. "What is the point of running a ministry that is part of the government if, at any time, your superior, without prior notice, can change your proposal to one that suits them best?"

Within the ministry they also confirm that the minister is also upset that instead of suggesting to her in private a change in the law so that it is her own ministry that proposes that reform and the party abstains in the previous proposal so that it is not approved, it was the prime minister's own party that was going to take credit from the proposal, because thanks to the new absolute majority they have in the Assembly, the law only needs socialist votes to get ahead.

"Obviously we will support this proposal of the Prime Minister, who after all picks up parts of the proposal of Mrs. Tirso, but it has been a dirty move on the part of those who supposedly are partners in government. Of course we are grateful that the Socialists have approved other of our proposals, including federalization, and we understand that in a coalition government both parties have to give up some things, and therefore the issue in this conflict is not the substance of the matter, but the ways to carry it out, which have been the worst possible

Il Blocco, therefore, will have to resign itself to not be able to prohibit the surrogacy that, they argue, "commodifies the body of poor women and creates a black market for exploitation supported by the State and by one of the parties of the government itself", as well as continue the fight to stop the demonization of the GM crops.

Emperor Alessandro reviews and salutes the troops back from Kazulia
His Majesty underlined the valour of the sacrifice of the fallen ones but the press focused also on Padagna's regional buildings: the Palace responded quietly, the opposition not at all
Image

29 July 4608

NEPULI - Yesterday the Emperor was in Nepuli to welcome the troops back from Kazulia at the end of the mission against the defeated fascist regime led by Theodor Lynden Frankenstein. The Naval group was welcomed by dozens of little boats and vessels which escorted the Imperial Navy's ships until the port.
The crews of the ships, passing close to the cost and the civil port, reached the upper decks to salute the city and the people rushed to welcome the Naval Group and when they entered the Navy Base, on the dock they found the highest authorities of the state to welcome them, in front line Emperor Alessandro with the Prime Minister beside him.

When the troops took place marshaled in front the Authorities Stands, His Majesty reached the podium from which to make his speech:

Goodmoorning at all.
For nearly four years our nation has been at war in Kazulia. And you, the incredible men and women of the Imperial Navy, have been there every step of the way, serving with honour, sacrificing greatly, from the first waves of the mission encountered in Kazulia until today.
Thus, as your Commander-in-Chief and on behalf of a grateful Nation, I'm proud to finally say these two words, and I know your families agree: Welcome home!
It is a great honor to be here in welcoming you, our heroes and heroes of another whole nation, Kazulia, which today, freed from the fascist yoke, is stapping back on the path of Peace and Democracy.

I want to thank Squadron Admiral Lorenzetti and all your outstanding leaders for welcoming us here today, including Admiral Davide Righelli and Ammiraglio Mahmud Al Qabij.
And I want to give a shout-out to your outstanding senior enlisted leaders, including Sub-lieutenants first class Pamela Agostini, Danilo De Angelis, Pietro Musumeci.
I want also to give a big round of applause to the pilots of our fighter aircrafts and especially to Captains Sara Manzini and Otello Marchegiani and Major Seluciano Mercuri.
And finally we send our thoughts to the ones who are not here with us today, to the ones that have fallen away from home, who died with great honor in the course of duty, who sacrified their life for probably the greatest cause, to help a whole suffering people to fight against oppression and dictature, thinking first to the fate of those who are suffering and crying, because prompted by piety and great sorrow for those unfortunate souls. I think there is no more noble cause.

Personally, let me just say, that one of the most humbling moments I've had as Sovereign of the Istalian Empire was when I presented our nation's highest military decoration, the Cross of Military Valour, to the parents of one of those patriots who gave their life in Kazulia.

Another of the most extraordinary chapters in the history of the Istalian military finally came to an end. Kazulian future will be in the hands of its people. Istalia's war in Kazulia is over but still, there is something profound about the end of a war that has lasted so long. It was a source of great controversy here at home, with patriots on both sides of the debate. But there was one constant: your patriotism, your commitment to fulfil your mission, your abiding commitment to one another. That was constant. That did not change. That did not waiver.
Sometime it's harder to end a war than begin one. Indeed, everything that Istalian troops have done in Kazulia, all the fighting and all the dying, the bleeding and the training and the partnering, all of it has led to this moment of success.
Now, Kazulia is a nation in peace. It has many challenges ahead. But we're leaving behind a sovereign, stable and self-reliant Kazulia, with a representative government that was elected by its people and we're building a new partnership between our nations.
This is an extraordinary achievement, nearly four years in the making and today we remember everything that you did to make it possible.
But... all these words only begins to describe the costs of this war and the courage of the men and women who fought it, we know too well the heavy cost of this war. Over 4800 men have served in this mission, 1496 have been wounded while 287 brave sailors made the ultimate sacrifice.
So today, we pause to say a prayer for all those families who have lost their loved ones, for they are part of our broader Istalian family. We grieve with them.
We also know that these numbers don't tell the full story of this war, not even close.
You've endured dangerous moments and you've endured the pain of seeing your friends and comrades fall. You've had to be more than soldiers, sailors and airmen, you've also had to be diplomats and peacemakers.
Through all this, you have shown why the Istalian Imperial military is among the finest fighting force in the history of the world.

For all this reason, we salute you brave soldiers of Istalia, all the Nation today and all its highest officials today salute you with the greatest respect honiring all what you did for the Country and, even most honorable, for the sake of another people in need.

Thank you.

The Emperor during his speech

After the cerimony, while the Emperor was leaving the Naval Base, the press began to asking to Colonnel Ahmad Akmejid, His Majesty Private Segretary, a declaration about the recent decision by the Padagnan regional authorities to remove the Emperor's portraits from the regional buildings. His Majesty's Secretary didn't responded to the questions just saying that the Palace would have released a statements in days.
However, early this moorning the Press Office of Quattroregni Palace issued a statement to the press:

Quattroregni Palace issued this statement in response of the pressing demands by part of the press and public opinion arose in the last weeks around the recent Padagnan controversy on His Majesty Official Portraits in the regional buildings.

The Imperial Throne shall respect its role and shall not take side on political debates in the country unless serious in case of serious violation of the law. Actually His Majesty only would like and could like expressed his personal and human sorrow for such a decision, underligning how this is in the power of the local authorities until Emperor's Portraits are demanded to be exposed in National buildings and offices.

His Majesty expresses finally his desires to make a state tour in Padagna to meet the local authorities as well as the padagnan population, reassuring that he is fully focused in pursuing at the best his role as Head of the State of the Istalian Empire, Guardian and Guarantor of the Constitution and of the Democratic Principles and Commander-in-Chief of the Imperial Armed Forces of Istalia.

After the statements, arrived finally also a declaration by the politics, namely the one from the leader of the National Alliance for the Empire, Cesare Domizi, who met the press in Viale delle Vittore in the headquarter of the party, a declarations which followed the speech made during the declarations of vote by part of the parties about the Ddl which Prime Minister Tarso presented in place of the one of the Minister of Health, the Left Bloc members Maria Tirso:

I really don't understand what they want to show by removing those portraits. His Majesty is and remains in any case the Head of State of the Istalian Empire. Given that the Emperor announced he will tour Padagna and will meet local authorities, I really hope I will not have to witness to scenes such as those of the infamous Istalian Nationalist Party, whose representatives and public officials of the administration and the State deserving such events and failing even in vulgar insults.

Now are you asking me If this gesture generated in me opposition and if I judged it as disrespectful? Yes I did, I don't deny it. Like so many other people, respectful citizens of any nation in the world, who would see in a similar gesture a veritable act of vilification against the Head of State.
While I can only admire once again the absolute sense of respect for the most fundamental principles and values of our nation by part of our Head of State and the Institution that he represents and embodies, how it is and how it should be.

To our colleagues in the Left Block, instead, leaving my personal thoughts on their gesture and trying to empathize with one of their voters, I would advise you to focus on far more pressing issues instead of devoting yourself to removing photographs, such as making work the government.
This government, gentlemen, which, however, we must admit, has an even greater problem than the Left Bloc, that is, its leader, our Prime Minister Paolo Tarso, who sometimes says he is "confused" but who seems to notice very well how to take advantage of any opportunity to remind everyone "who's the leader, who's the only real boss".
For almost 25 years Paolo Tarso has led the nation and today we are witnessing its consequences, an old man, "Red Steel" as his supporters call him, stubborn and determined to hold on to power, "confused" when he wants, but also careful to keep in line his own men.
Precisely to you, colleagues of the majority party, I ask you: for how long will you remain subservient to the one who has become a father master of Istalia? The Istalians have finally shown that the majority is tired of Paolo Tarso, we therefore ask that our venerable Prime Minister, whom we thank for the services rendered to the nation, stand aside and that profits from a well-deserved rest.

Thank you

BREAKING: Padagna's governor will personally receive the Emperor after criticism

ImageImage

The Governor of Padagna, Minerva Totti, has confirmed via social networks that she will be present at the reception of Emperor Alessandro during his visit to the region.
The Millennial Governor , as she has been baptized for her great activity in social networks, softens in this way the criticism towards her figure after her decision to withdraw all the paintings and other elements that represent the Emperor of the public administrations of the regional government.

From her party official account, Padagna En Blocco, it has been confirmed that the Governor will receive the Emperor for "legal imperative and democratic respect" towards all the people for whom she governs, but will not participate in any act that is dedicated to extolling the figure of the Emperor and will hold a closed meeting with him.

The official account of the regional administration, on the other hand, has confirmed that a dinner will be held with the main political and intellectual authorities of the region, and that it will be the Minister of Culture, Mr. Viriato Pontis, and not the Governor, who will accompany to the Emperor on his visit to the region.

The large park around the Mausoleum is judged among the most appreciated features of the complex, which rises behind the large international financial quartier of Romula which the city's citizenship considered as lacking of green spaces like all the quite recently rising residential areas extending outside the finacial quartier. The Park hosts several buildings and facilities for art exibitions.

ROMULA - This moorning the Emperor and the Prime Minister, with the Minister of Defence and the Chef of Defence Staff, attended in Triesta the launching cerimony of the first of the two new amphibious ships built for the Istalian Imperial Navy which construction was heavily sponsorized by the Prime Minister Paolo Tarso.

Built in the yards of Triesta, 250 meters long, with a speed of 25 knots, the ship "Impero" will be delivered to the Navy in 4610, after the completion of the installations on board with the combat system and the predisposition for the installation of missile systems of air defense.

Godmother of the ship, the Emperor's daughter, Grand Princess Elenora, who broke the ritual bottle on the side of the Impero. The workers accompanied the ship on its way to the sea, singing the hymn of Istalia.

The Minister of Defense said it is a perfect synthesis of the country's technological innovation. A modern and irreplaceable multi-purpose instrument that the Defense will be able to use effectively, added Admiral Salvemini. It is a LHD type (Landing Helicopter Dock) unit due to its ability to use aircraft and amphibious vehicles, thanks to the availability of a flight deck and a floodable dock inside the ship.

His Majesty the Emperor, during his speech, said that this ship confirms the long lasting naval traditions of Istalia, which strongly reinforce the amphibious capabilities of the Armed Forces. The last naval program, promoted under the Fift Republic by the Governments led by Michele the First, at the time Head of the State of Istalia, introduced amphibious units focused on regional intervention while with this new ship, continued the Emperor, the Istalian Navy return to be able to project ever more effectively its Force almost worldwide. These Units will complete the capabilities of the Navy alongside the Aircraft Carriers and the Cruisers and will allow the Istalian Navy to return to be one of the strongest Navy of whole Terra.

In Romula, however, not everyone has welcomed the new ship, foremost the leader of the National Alliance for the Empire, Cesare Domizi, who heavily criticized the construction of the ships as a waste of public money:

I said it and repeated it several times and I was against it even years ago when many also inside my own party supported the idea: these two ships are a waste of public money. They have been built without any strategic and tactical prediction. There was no naval program behind it but it was decided to give to the navy these two ships when a few years later, instead, a well-structured naval program was already approved and completed. I've always considered it as mere propaganda by the Prime Minister.

These ships, it was clear to everyone, had to be employed in Kazulia, the Prime Minister wanted to use them, I am sure: why otherwise sponsor more missions in Kazulia? His allies from the Left Bloc also spoke about it: they declared to be against any attack to any third nation!
But the war is over! And now? What to do with it? Have we spent billions on hospital ships? This is what should be now these ships? Or transport ships? Or will they serve as aircraft carriers? But then... why not pick up our aircraft carriers from the reserve? Much larger and truly with global capabilities, but above all, already existing!

But other doubts arise around the realization of these ships: years and years... if there was an urgency like the war in Kazulia, why so many delays? Yes, gentlemen, we have studied a little and... we have discovered a project constantly plagued by revisions after revisions... and no one produced savings, but only cost increases.
And my party is ready to open a debate in Parliament on the contracts that have affected the project. We want to see clearly, because according to us doubts arise.
I personally invite all the political leaders of the nation, even those in government at this time, to join us in shedding light on these Pharaonic works.
