Both Socialists and the ANI receive criticism from government coalition partners for how to invest public money
The Speaker of the Blocco della Sinistra and Minister of Environment, Carola Vani
As eack week, this afternoon Carola Vani, spokeswoman of Il Blocco della Sinistra, has appeared before the press to talk about the current issues being discussed in the Istalian media, mainly those related with the new Istalian ships and the Imperial Mausoleum.
It is at least curious, that the Alleanza Nazionale per l'Impero criticizes the use of "public money for the construction of new Istalian navy ships that are not going to have any real function" while praising the creation of a mausoleum dedicated to magnify, once again, the figure of the powerful, separating them from the rest of the citizens as if we were plagued. Let it be clear that Il Blocco was firmly opposed from the beginning to the construction of these new boats, which were the initiative only of our coalition partners, the Socialists, and therefore we demark ourselves, but we also criticize and oppose this new aberration and affront that has been perpetrated against the average citizen of our nation. They can adorn it as they wish, with the excuse of creating new "green areas" for the enjoyment of citizens and other related things, but the truth is that the sole purpose of this pharaonic project is, once again, to perpetuate the cult of the figure of the Emperor, creating a place of rest separate from the rest of citizens of Istalia, as if they could not be in contact even after death.
From here we announce it already: if Il Blocco gets control of some ministry such as Internal Affairs or Justice, we will carry out a process of exhumation of the remains and their transfer to another place after studying the pertinent legal ways, as well as a study for the transformation of the mausoleum in a center where the history of Istalia is shown, or a place of scientific research. For the time being, we are going to take to the courts the construction of such a work because we believe that it goes against the principle of equality among our citizens."
Mrs. Vani has also spoken about the opposition of the ANI and the Conservatives to the law presented by her party that would offer first legal aid to all the citizens accused of a crime, under the concept of the "Presumption of Innoncence"
The Partito Conservatore Nazionale and the Alleanza Nazionale per l'Impero should face the embarrassment of voting against this resolution, which, beyond any political ideology, the only thing it does - because it will be approved thanks to the votes of the government - is to guarantee access to a fair trial to all citizens of our nation who so wish, thanks to the fact that the State will offer them first a lawyer ex officio, and in case they do not consider it necessary, they will be able to look for themselves one of their choice. This measure creates both new jobs for lawyers and opens the possibilities for all citizens to be able to access a person who legally represents them in a way that is beneficial for all, respecting the principle of Presumption of Innocence.
Both parties will be anchored by their vote on this law, and by demonstrating that their disagreement with this government is not ideological, it is simply visceral rejection.
The spokesperson has also said that instead of dedicating this money to these events, the government and political parties in general should agree to improve funds dedicated to helping poor families, improve education in the country or guarantee access to the housing of all citizens.
When there is less than a year for the country to hold new elections, from Il Blocco they make a positive assessment of these four years of government in coalition with the Socialists, of which they emphasize that "thanks to Il Blocco, we have been able to carry out social measures that can be observed that have improved the quality of life of our citizens " and from the party are optimistic in the face of an increase in votes in the next elections, although there are still several months ahead to check the opinion of citizens about it. Although the general assessment that street citizens make about the party is generally "good", the main merit goes to its general secretary, Pietro Reggio, who enjoys a lot of popularity, especially among young people between 18 and 28 years.
