Sarjani on the UERT: indeed it protected minors for centuries
IeU leader defend the regulatory text but also announces support for the government-sponsored Federal Department of Labor despite IeU considers it a stolen idea
Image

19 February 5068

COLSAMIA - The Leader of Identity and Unity Ahmed Sarjani met the press last night as he left the Federal Assembly on the day of the explanations of vote on the bill presented by the Popular Front of Alaria for the creation of the Federal Department of Work.

Sarjani, in front of the Federal Assembly, announced that his party would support the government-sponsored bill but did not hold back in pointing out that the supporting vote will be justified by the fact that the government has unequivocally been pushed and drawn inspirations from the proposal presented by IeU both in this legislature and in the previous one relating to the creation of the Federal Labor Inspectorate, indeed, the re-establishment of this government agency which for centuries, both under the Istalian republics and under the Empire, has supervised and oversaw this matter.

But the unionist leader also harshly criticized FPA's press statements regarding what has been biasedly described by the majority as "an inadmissible violation of children's rights", pointing out how regrettable, once again, it was to see a populist distortion of reality through words that he simply defined as deceptive.

In front of the journalists summoned to the headquarters of Sarjani's party, he wanted to reiterate the criticisms for the behavior of the majority but also wanted to defend the UERT proposal:

As usual, the members of FPA are painting us in dark and distorted colors and after years spent to accuse us to be traitors, insurectionalists and fascists, once again our party and its members are tarnished by the accusation of being supporters of the exploitation of minors in the workplace. Nothing more false!

Identity and Unity has only proposed the re-adoption of the UERT, Underage Employment Regulatory Text, a law that for centuries has regulated child labor by protecting minors from abuse and guaranteeing their rights.
Because, despite what those from FPA say, when we talk about child labor we are not talking just about the exploitation of children and young people who are so deprived of the freedom of adequate psychophysical growth and the right to study.
The UERT is a text that is clearly aimed to minors over the age of 14 and which is aimed to regulate realities that are common and widespread.

We are talking about teenagers who find summer jobs, we are talking about kids who help their parents in their family shops, we are talking about kids who even throughout the year, maybe on weekends, find jobs to meet their needs as teenagers, kids to be admired I would add because they try to make themselves a little independent and do not want to burden their parents for all those needs they aspire to, often the superfluous needs which charaterize the adolescence.
But we are also talking about teens and children, even younger than 14 in this case, who are involved in activities such as the entertainment, as actors, singers or involved in modeling.
The UERT protects all these activities by putting first the needs of a healthy and adequate psychological and physical growth as well as protecting the right to study of minors.

The text is clear and can be consulted by all (link to the text of the UERT here), a text that would have also introduced the Federal Labor Inspectorate but FPA, instead than try to work with other political forces to find a satisfatory compromise, that would also help to alleviate some of the decennal tensions within the country, preferred to take that idea away from us taking all the merits while digging up dirt against us portraying us as monstrous violators of human rights.

All this is really sad and unfortunate but if FPA thought that the recent electoral results would have left us inert and silent, well they were very wrong! Out of a sense of duty towards the nation IeU will once again demonstrate all his seriousness in voting in favor of the Federal Department of Labor's proposal but we will not be gratuitously insulted by a mass of populists and fanatics ready to throw up untruths only and just for their electoral goals.

FPA and the Government with those words not only insulted all IeU members of the Federal Assembly but also the millions of citizens who have placed their trust in us!
In the future, FPA members will have to remember these despicable tactics if and when they will have to deal with others who want to make their voices heard against them or if they find themselves in the need to work alongside other political forces to achieve some goal!

Alaria debuts its new additions to the education of young people
From now on, children from the age of 14 will take part in compulsory rhetoric and wrestling classes until the end of their education

ImageImage

As announced by Elettra Falanga, President of the Alarian Republic, from now on the educational system on the island acquires two new additions: rhetoric and combat or fight.

At a press conference, the island's Minister of Education boasted about this modification, which she considers "useful and necessary" for the young people of these "new times".

"The education of our future generations must be comprehensive, and that is what is intended with this new law. This government considers the maxim of "mens sana in corpore sano" as the appropriate direction for the education of our children and grandchildren, and that is why these two new issues, rhetoric and wrestling, acquire special relevance: On the one hand, because it is essential that our young people learn to use the word in the best possible way, learn the correct way to debate and convince, because only in this way can a full development of this gift that human beings have, which is the word, be achieved. The correct use of the word must not be limited solely and exclusively to work as jurists or lawyers, but must be freely accessible knowledge to all citizens. In addition, this subject will be closely related to Philosophy, granting full development to our students.

On the other hand, in these times, it is important to train our citizens to meet their body, reaching full development. Hand-to-hand fighting has existed for millennia in our society, and we consider it to be the correct way to train the body of our young people."

At street level, the Falanga government's proposal finds majority support, with around 60% of the population being in favor of this measure, support that increases to 80% in the case of the younger population, which is shown excited about the possibility that opens up to them.

"I think the government is right to offer this as part of our education, since these are issues that have gradually been forgotten,"
says Manuella Peregrinni, a law student.

Falanga herself has announced that her government will contemplate extending the age of these classes to 22 years, the average age of completion of university studies, so that more young people can benefit from this new law.

On the other hand, the Falanga government is also in the process of relocating the seat of national sovereignty, the Parliament of Alaria, to the open air, to allow the attendance of citizens who wish to attend the sessions that are held. According to the government, the place to which they intend to move the parliament is an old Istalian amphitheater, located on the outskirts of the Alarian capital.

Nostalgics celebrate the once Istalian Empire
Many people come together at Imperial Mausoleum attending the celebration organized by Imperial association and former Armed Force veterans and attented also by current members of the former Imperial House

1 September 5071

COLSAMIA- This morning at least twenty thousand people gathered in Michele the First Park where members of associations linked to the old empire and former exponents of the Istalian Armed Forces organized a ceremony to celebrate the foundation of the Istalian Empire which took place exactly 500 years ago on 1 September 4571.

For several months various associations for the preservation and promotion of the historical memory of the Istalian Empire had announced the organization of ceremonies for the celebration of the anniversary and in recent days the tam-tam on social networks has only increased.
Alongside the aforementioned associations there were the National Association of Istalian Veterans and the Association of Ex-Combatants of the True Nation, the two national associations that bring together the former members of the Istalian Armed Forces still alive and for whom historically the Istalian Empire has always been a pride.

The popular participation was a pleasant surprise, declared the representatives of the organizing associations, and for one day in the Michele the First Park a lot of people felt to be in Istalia once again, with green, white and red flags and drapes, mixed with istalian blue too, waved by the participants and decorating the Mausoleum and all the surrounding areas.
The veterans performed by marching in parade along the main avenue of the park to the mausoleum, reminiscent of the celebrations held every 1 September in Romula under the Empire, dusting off and showing off the old parade uniforms and military decorations, largely modified to reuse symbols of the Empire in the light of the little affection for the delusional, decadent, disunitary and obscurantist sixth republic, considered, particularly by the military, as the true cause of what happened to the nation.

In the square in front of the Imperial Mausoleum, veterans and members of the associations joined the members of the National Institute of the Guard of Honor of the Imperial Mausoleum, an association born following the abolition of the Empire that initially brought together the veterans of the Imperial Guard and that over the years has seen several veterans and retired members of the Istalian Armed Forces join it to continue to serve as honorary guard at the Imperial Tombs following agreements made under the Sixth Republic, mainly financed through the contributions of members and through regular donations by the Appiano Foundation.

ImageImage

The Appiano Foundation was one of the main promoters and financiers of the event, remaining faithful to its once national heritage role that it has played since its foundation under the Empire. On the other hand, the Foundation supports the main monarchical association in the country, the Imperial National Association of Istalia, which was the entity most involved in the celebrations.

At the end of the parade some veterans and the representatives of the various involved associations spoke briefly to the crowd thanking the participants and dedicating a few words to the times that were, praising Michele I in particular. No words were spent for comments of a political nature, as someone expected, and no reference was made to particular political groups or to the founding of the Union of Quanzar and Alaria. The day was exclusively dedicated to celebrations without wanting to overshadow it with criticisms and negative tones.

With pleasant surprise from the crowd, the celebrations were also attended by some of the current members of the former Imperial Family and although they did not make any speeches, they wanted to thank the organizers and then at the end of the day they released via social media their warmest thanks for the demonstration of affection shown towards their ancestors and their family.
Participating in the event, among the others, were Paolo Tommaso Al Madyan-Appiano De Borromei of Marsama (49 years old) accompanied by his wife Miriana Renziani-Tallal (46 years old) and their two children Clarissa (22 years old) and Nicola Alessandro (20). The current head of the family, Eugenia (78 years old), mother of Paolo Tommaso, was absent unable to leave Villa Annamaria as she is still in recovery after a femur operation she underwent in June following a fall.

Although the previous noble titles carried by the family are not recognized by the Union and none of the House members have ever made explicit use of them, incorporating the predicate "of Marsama" in their surname, deriving from the old title "Duke of Marsama" traditionally granted to the once heir of the throne, many were the participants in the event who did not shy away from appealing to them as Grand Princes of Istalia when many came to pay homage or even just to shake their hands.

Finally, the day at Michele the First Park ended with an almost infinite procession of people, first of all the members of the former Imperial House, who presented their respect to the symbolic eternal flames facing the Mausoleum, many reciting some prayers, and then entered the mausoleum to pay homage to the tomb of the first Emperor and those of his successors and members of the dynasty, leaving both inside and outside bouquets of flowers composed with the Istalian colors.

Sarjani on Government work: a better Federation
From the libralization of energy market and investments on federal infrastructures to the reform of the Justice Courts, from the finally introduced UERT to the new special division of the Federal Police and the new funds for the Defense, IeU leadership promoted a more active Union Government which will better protect citizens' rights too
Image
Press conference held by President Sarjani

19 December 5072

COLSAMIA - The President of the Federal Council Ahmed Sarjani, few months before the next elections, wanted to take stock of the work of these years of government led by Identity and Unity.
The Federal President said he was satisfied with the reforms introduced by his government and that they will leave the citizens with a better federation that will see a central government more active and involved in the management of public affairs.

Among the first reforms introduced, in 5071, the President praised the new electoral law for municipalities which saw the introduction of the direct election of mayors by citizens and a series of rules that now guarantee to the first citizens greater governability and greater possibilities to act and intervene more incisively and more quickly to meet the needs of their communities.
In the same year, the Underage Employement Regulatory Act (UERT) was finally re-introduced on which harsh debates had arisen between the majority and opposition forces in previous years and the President declared to be satisfied that now our young people who enter the world of work will be much more protected by clear and precise rules that protect their rights.

This year, instead, the Government intervened in various areas in such a way that, declared Sarjani, the rights of citizens are now equally protected throughout the territory of the Federation through the introduction of the right of appeal to Federal Courts for citizens of both Constituent States and the question relating to the right to strike has therefore been resolved by introducing the duty on the part of workers of crucial and essential services to guarantee a minimum service while on strike to ensure the safety and protection of citizens and their assets at any time.

In the field of national defense security the President was proud to talk about the new Federal Police's Special Intervention Unit (UIS) which will allow the most important law enforcement agency in the country to deal more effectively with critical situations such as terrorism, the release of hostages and other special operations and tasks within the Union such as the capture of particularly dangerous criminals, the protection of high-ranking governmental and administrative positions and of foreign heads of state and government visiting the country, etc...
Resource allocations have been planned for the Federal Defense which the president has stated will have to re-establish a state-of-the-art capacity for action.
The funds will be used first of all for investments in the Navy and the Air Force: for the naval component of the Federal Defense funds have been allocated for the construction of a new class of ships that will have capacity of both anti-aircraft and anti-submarine warfare frigates but that will be more similar to offshore patrol vessels and which the Secretary of Defense Bruno Notturni has indicated as perfectly matching to the federal military doctrine focused on national defense; for the Air Force, on the other hand, the investments will be used to create a new surveillance and control network based on radars and satellites and which will be developed together with new missile interception systems that will be deployed to protect federal airspace.

With regard to interventions relating to the economy and infrastructures the Pdl 02/70 introduced the liberalization of the energy sector that will guarantee greater competition between private and public entities and will allow the convergence of not only state resources in a sector in which investments and innovation are crucial in this historical moment both for the country's recovery path and the global issues of climate change.
The same law has brought the development and management of transport infrastructures at national level under the responsibility of the Central Government, followed by investments for their modernization and further extension.

In fact, concurrently with the aforementioned reforms, the Government introduced the new budget law with which the entire sector of public expenditure was reorganized, adapting it to the reality of the federal structure of the Union, thus entrusting the constituent States with a greater role and economic and financial responsibility while the funds were increased for some sector IeU considers crucial to keep under state responsability like social services and health, the infrastructures and transport and, as already mentioned, the federal defense. Sarjani has in fact signed several resolutions to expand the highway network but above all the so-called "highways of the sea", or the connections between the Peninsula and the island for a growing and greater integration between the constituent states, declaring that there will be no full recovery if the Sarrentina peninsula and the island of Alaria will not grow together and will not have adequate connections between them.
With the reform of the budget the Government was also able to decrease the taxes for the lowest incomes promoting for them an increase in spending and respecting the promises of a more socially oriented IeU.

Finally, Sarjani spoke of the reform of the policy on the charging and collection of interest on loans which brought the matter back under the authority of the Federal Central Bank which from now on will be the only body to determine interest rates in order to ensure more stable performances of financial markets, provide reference points for operators and obviously protect citizens from the risk of usury by part of ruthless financial organizations.

Election 5073: Identity and Unity keeps its majority
Unitarists gain presidencies of both costituent State and Federal President announces that among the first initiatives there will be an international one: Buria will host MA summit

28 July 5073

COLSAMIA - As announced by all the pre-electin polls, the unionist majority of Identity and Unity has been reconfirmed and Federal President Ahmed Sarjani will shortly be reconfirmed by the Federal Assembly together with his Government team which will undergo only a few changes compared to the previous formation.
Furthermore, with these elections, IeU returns to the leadership of both constituent States with Annamaria Sigonella reconfirmed at the helm of the Republic of Alaria while the Community of Quanzar has elected the radical anti-independenceist Rodolfo Spada.

President Sarjani, meeting the journalists at Palazzo Antinori, was very satisfied but not too surprised:

We thank all the citizens of the Union for reconfirming their trust and support in us.

This government and this majority have shown their seriousness and their commitment to work for the good of the citizens and to strengthen the unity of the Federation.

During the previous parliamentary term, we introduced numerous reforms and launched numerous projects to continue the country's economic recovery and to expand protection of the rights of our citizens and increase services for them.

With this new legislature, the Government and the majority will undertake to work to increase the cohesive role of the Federation, to further rediscover the social and cultural unity of the country always respecting the numerous identities and peculiarities that have always been part of our society and enriched it.

In addition, the new administration over the next four years will strive to increase the Union's engagement at the international level. We will focus on increasing cooperation in Majatra with our partners within the Majatran Association.
However, this administration will remain faithful to the sentiments and principles of the country that have characterized our foreign policy: we will continue to protect our national sovereignty and to protect our identity from those external influences which, as we have always suspected, have contributed to the ruin of what was once a proud, mighty and respected nation.

Secretary of the Foreign Department Karim Al Mijad then provided more information regarding the Union's commitment in the international arena and the words of President Sarjani.
After recent debates within the Majatran Association in which representatives and exponents of the Government of the Union of Quanzar and Alaria participated, both in the Transnational Parliament and in the MA Council, the Secretary announced the intention of the Federal Government to host the next inter-governmental MA summit here in the Union and precisely in Buria, where President Sarjani will be more than pleased to let his majatran counterparts visit the Technocitadel, the country's scientific and research flagship.

The Government hopes during this Summit to reach a shared solution for a reform of the Majatran Association which, according to the executive, has now become impending and indispensable for the functioning of the Association but, as underlined by the Secretary of Finance Edmondo Zaia in front of the MA Council, the reform will have to re-establish an adequate balance between the instances of cooperation and integration at the continental level with the principle of national sovereignty and the inalienable right of the governments of the member countries to have the last word in the decisions taken in the context of the MA to protect their citizens and to judge whether and to what extent measures and decisions can be beneficial to their countries and their citizens.

To best reconcile those two traditionally opposite positions, the Federal Government through Zaia has already expressed in the MA Council the proposal to adopt a multi-speed philosophy in the adoption of decisions and measures by the member countries, thus leaving it to the individual Governments and to the individual legislatures judge what is best for their citizens.
Foreign Secretary Al Mijad said that the Federal Government hopes that this solution will satisfy the various governments of the member states and mediate between the various positions and instances.

Minister Al Mijad, later questioned by the press on the country's bilateral relations, stated that the government said it was very satisfied with the cordiality with which it is in dialogue with the Deltarian government as well as the openness to compromise shown by Deltaria, both within the MA and the Majatran Security Organization in which the Deltarian Government has shown itself to be receptive to the proposals of Quanzar and Alaria in relation to the proposals for the revision of the reform of the fundamental charter of the organization presented by Deltaria.

Alarian Government began works to adeguate new site of State legislature
Obvious inconvenience, protests by archaeological superintendency and annoying interventions by citizens in visit bring the local assembly back to the previous location in view of the necessary adaptation

21 September 5073

PINTOLASH - This moorning Annamaria Sigonella convened the press together with Pierluigi Natali, President of the Parliament of Alaria, to announce the decision to temporary bring back the local legislature to its previous location after the decision by part of previous State administration led by FPA President Elettra Falanga to relocate the session of parliamentary assembly to an ancient amphiteater in the outskirt of Pontolash.

The decision came after that during the previous years emerged several practical logistic issues being the place in the open air. Bad weather and freezing temperatures during the winter already forced several time the parliament to meet at the previous location.
Protests came also by the Pontalash municipal archaelogical superintendency due to the damages and degradation caused by the use of the unsuitable ancient amphitheater by part of the parliamentary assembly.
Furthermore, several cases of annoying behavior by part of citizens attending the sessions have generated numerous complaints from members of parliament while security issues had been raised by security forces of the Alarian parliament due to the unusual location chosen by Falanga's administration.

For this reason President Sigonella alongside the leadership of the local parliament already during the previous legislature adopted the decision to reduce session of parliament in the new site while in the meantime the majority voted in favor of a state government bill to authorize the beginning of work to adapt the place chosen by Falanga.

After five months the bid was won by a architectural firm of Pontolash, Studio Nuove Visioni, which project will provide the encasing of the ancient amphitheater into a modern structure with large glass surfaces that will allow to keep the ancient structure clearly visible from the outside. The building will also provide new spaces for the administration of the assembly and for the offices of parliamentarians.

President Sigonella, however, shared the good intention of Falanga to make more transparent and accessible the legislature to the citizens so the new building will provide a large overhead loggia all around the amphitheater open to the public although glass walls will prevent troublemakers and malicious people to disturb parliamentary sessions or put in dangers the legislature's members.

Pro-Istalian demonstrations unleash all over the Union
Following elections showing increasing support for unitarists the last leaders of the anti-istalian movements definitively lost their influence and grip on the country and now the ribirth of Istalia is only matter of time
Image

8 November 5073

Massive demonstrations have broken out across the country for several days already and literally millions of people have invaded the squares and streets of major cities, dyeing them blue, green, white and red.

After more than a decade of collapse of the consensus for the secessionist and anti-Istalian forces, proven first by the dissolution of the Quanzarian League, heir to the Quanzar Independence Movement responsible for the dissolution of the last Istalian state entity, and therefore by the growing consensus earned by the unionist and pro-istalian Identity and Unity party, which was reconfirmed in the past elections once again at the head of the Government, today the tensions, the anger but above all the hopes of a people that over the years has found more and more unity finally exploded triggered by the manifestations of joy for the dissolution a few days ago of the other great anti-Istalian and indipendentist political force, the Popular Front of Alaria.

Celebrations by opponents to the FPA and IeU supporters soon prompted millions of citizens across the Union to take to the streets to express growing dissent for the state of the country and for the Union of Quanzar and Alaria, now openly called a bizarre and unnatural experiment, mere expression of dissatisfaction and anger against the latest, and alas failed, Istalian republic rather than the expression of a genuine and rooted sentiment supported by historical and cultural justifications.

The headquarters of the municipalities of large cities as well as small provincial villages, as well as the offices of public administrations, bodies and law enforcement agencies were occupied by crowds of celebrants who aimed to tear off the Union flags to hoist flags of Istalia, for the overwhelming majority they were flags of the Empire, for years seen as truly the last Istalian regime embodying the principles and values that for centuries have characterized the country and its people while very few flags of the sixth Istalian republic have been seen, a republic that over the years it has become actually a one-party regime dominated by the clerical and extremely conservative Istalian National Party and which, according to many, was the germ that led to the fall of Istalia with its extremely devolutionist policies.

In the Community of Quanzar, the radical pro-unitarian and pro-istalian President Rodolfo Spada was truly the first of the most important positions in the Union to declare his total support for the demonstrators and indeed it was himself in person who at the seat of the Community's government appeared on the balcony from which the flagpole of the state flag emerges to remove that of the Community and hoist the Imperial flag.
Soon after, therefore, covened the Assembly of Quanzar, the local legislature, with crowds cheering around the seat of the Assembly praising Spada and the unitarist majority, Spada presented the proposal, voted almost unanimously, to abolish the Community of Quanzar and establish the Istalian Sarrentine Community for, in the words of President Spada, "get rid of a name that, despite the attempts at historical revisionism of the last few disastrous decades, for centuries and for millions of people in the country has been synonymous with repression, dictatorship and cultural and ethnic eradication", obviously bringing to mind the three authoritarian regimes of the Hessexian monarchy.

ImageImageImage
Further images of the celebrations all over the country

In Alaria, the President Annamaria Sigonela also declared that it is now evident the need for a change that brings the country back on the right tracks of history but at the same time has made no secret of caring for Alaria's autonomy and identity, wanting to defend its particular situation which has taken root on the island, a tendency that the island sections of Unity and Identity have never hidden to support. For this reason Sigonella, convened the Parliament of Alaria, proposed the reform of the Republic in the Autonomous Istalian Community of Alaria, a proposal voted in favor by the majority which was followed by a communication sent to the central government of the Union in which it was underlined the intention to defend the autonomy of the island regardless of the decisions that the central government would have taken.

The central government led by Ahmed Sarjani, in fact, has remained rather silent in these days of demonstrations, focusing, as transpires from corridor indiscretions, to weigh and analyze the situation trying to probe the popular mood and determine how the demonstrations were going to develop.

Finally, this morning, President Sarjani appeared in front of the cameras for a speech to the nation in which the decisions made by the federal government were announced:

My dear and fellow Citizens,
once again our country is crossed and shaked by demonstrations and protests that are questioning the foundations of our current identity and society.

This time, however, unlike forty years ago, it is not anger and feelings of division that fuel this tide but there are feelings of joy and national and cultural pride, feelings of rediscovered unity and cohesion, it is the voice of a people who finally, free from the propaganda of populists, revisionists and deniers, has rediscovered the awareness of his identity and of the roots and common values that have always united it.

As leader of the Identity and Unity party, I cannot but rejoice in finally seeing the country that our fathers knew and that was taken away from us by radical forces of fanatics who worked to break our temper and erase our true identity.
Despite the attacks and the infamous criticisms full of lies that those same fanatics have thrown at us for decades, we have not given up and we have not given up on defending the historical memory of our beloved country, we have never stopped professing the unity of our people always emphasizing what unites us and rejecting instead those ideologies that did nothing but seek and magnify what divides us.
Our decades-long efforts have not been in vain and finally today we have the opportunity to leave behind us four long decades of divisions, ethnic eradication and historical revisionism.
And on this occasion I cannot fail to praise e remember Giovanni Maria Brunori della Scala who, despite the different economic and social views I had with him, I never fail to consider the veritable father of the istalian resurgence, the one that for decades lead the efforts to defend and protect our true identity and that he would have been the proudest and happiest to witness all this if he was still among us.

As President of the Union, however, first of all it is my duty to invite you my dear fellow citizens to calm down and avoid actions and gestures that could endanger your own fellow citizens.
Because I am here today to talk to you and to reassure you that I cannot fail to take note of this situation, take note of the popular will that is animating these massive demonstrations and in telling you that this government and I will not back down from acting and from respond to these claims.

In fact, I announce to all of you today that I have already signed the decree to dissolve the current Federal Assembly and organize new general elections to be held the next month in order to elect a Constituent Assembly that will have the task of defining the new identity and the new institutional structure of the country.
With this decision, the federal government and I, fully supported by the majority of the Assembly, now want to give the floor to the people and put the fate of this country in the hands of the people.
Regardless of the outcome of these constituent elections, what is certain is that what will ensue can only be the reaffirmation and rebirth of the freedom and principles of democracy that have always characterized the true soul of this people and its long tradition, a decision that in any case will lead to the creation of a democratic government which will be expression of the people, which will defend their unity and identity and which will always work for the good of the people and this great country.

Thank you

In the afternoon, therefore, the Federal Assembly was convened to vote the decree dissolving the Assembly and organizing early elections by President Sarjani and after brief debates that focused more on the modalities and timing of the elections, finally the proposal was voted unanimously and it was announced that the elections for the Constituent Assembly will be held on February 15th.

Following the President's speech to the nation, even before the Federal Assembly met, the rumors on social media and the statements of politicians as well as ordinary citizens have multiplied hour after hour with proposals, hopes and requests that have begun to accumulate.

What emerges from the first analyzes is that requests for the maintenance of a certain form of autonomy and insular identity came from the island of Alaria, an idea, as already mentioned, which has always been supported also by the local IeU sections, but always and in any case within and united with the future state entity that will take over the country and aware of its istalian identity and indeed proud of the fact that traditionally the island of Alaria has always been considered the true cradle of the istalian civilization.

Feelings of support for the maintenance of a partly decentralized structure also come from the continent although in the Peninsula the population is much more split with at least half of the population which instead supports a much more centralized regime that can promote the rediscovery and enhancement of a unity and an internal harmony that during the last decades has been put in crisis as the divisions grew between the Istalian ethnic component and those of Majatran and particularly Solentian origin. Among the major proponents of a unitary and centralized regime are the Majatran Istalians who have declared themselves to be among the most affected by the increase in ethnic tensions under the Union and who have the firm will to fully rediscover the integration and cohesion that they knewn for centuries with the rest of the population, in spite of the historical revisionism perpetrated by the most radical fringes of the anti-istalian movements.
With regard to the Solentian community, on the other hand, considered as the hard core of Quanzarian autonomist movements, during these days of protests and demonstrations many citizens belonging to the community have been seen leaving their homes and businesses to leave the country in a hurry fearing repercussions, moving goods and belongings to the abroad, and they are mainly Solentians of recent migration and with an artanianized background, a member of a Solentia that has no longer existed for at least two centuries and who, among the various countries they had moved to, had chosen Istalia as privileged destination, while the citizens of Solentian origin of Majatran descent over the years have gone to be absorbed by the Majatran Istalians, a phenomenon that has grown in the last two decades also driven by the desire to distance themselves from the rest of the ever more despised pro-quanzarian solentians.

With regard to the form of state, therefore, the country will probably continue to be characterized by forms of decidedly stronger administrative decentralization than in the past Istalian regimes, while regarding the form of government there is much more agreement among the population, even if only looking at the vast majority of istalian flags flaunted that are those of the Empire, as already mentioned seen as the last true regime to keep high the values and principles of freedom and democracy of the country that the last republic had instead failed to defend and promote. But if on the continent the support for the old monarchy is decidedly more widespread, Spada himself already in the afternoon today openly exposed himself in support of the Imperial restoration, on the Island of Alaria at least 30/35% of the population instead openly declared to be in favor of a republican regime.

What is certain, however, is that without too many doubts the Union of Quanzar and Alaria will soon be only a thing of the past and that the Istalian identity will soon be fully restored.

Elections for the Constituent Assembly: overwhelming victory for the supporters of the Istalian restoration and the restoration of the Empire
Ahmed Sarjani will be reconfirmed interim Federal President to manage the current affairs of the country and implementing the decisions that will be taken by the Constituent Assembly: the final demise of the Union of Quanzar and Alaria and the rebirth of the Second Istalian Empire is expected to happen in short time

Results of the elections for the Constituent Assembly: above the composition regarding members in favor and against Istalian Restoration; below the composition regarding monarchists/republicans and federalists/unionists members

16 February 5074

COLSAMIA - The results of the elections for the Constituent Assembly were finally published after hours of waiting during which in most of the electoral sections the authorities in charge conducted more than one count of the ballots to dispel any doubts on the final results and finally the joy exploded again on the streets of the whole country with millions of people celebrating for a moment of epochal importance for the history of the country.

Anyway, as most of the polls, experts and analysts predicted, the supporters of the Istalian restoration achieved a landslide victory with over 84% of the votes while those who opposed and still supported the Union of Quanzar and Alaria were only 16% of the voters.
If the intense electoral campaign saw the pro-istalian positions obscure any claims in favor of the Union, the contrast between supporters of federalist and unionist positions was much more intense while, especially on the island, in addition to the debates on the form of the state many were those concerning the form of government with the republican campaign that gained visibility and support.
Therefore, if the division between pro and anti Istalian restoration can be omitted, the 575 members of the newly elected Constituent Assembly are divided above all on the positions between federalists and unionists and in part between monarchists and republicans, even the latter, however, divided between federalist and unionist positions with practically all the elected representatives opposed to the Istalian restoration who joined their ranks and especially the federalist republicans.
In detail, the Imperial Federalists won 42% of the seats, the Imperial Unionists 31%, the Republican Federalists 16% and the Republican Unionists 11%.
It is therefore clear that if the most heated debates and which will take longer will focus on the degree of centralization or decentralization of the state and the relations between local realities and the central government, there are few doubts regarding the restoration of Istalia and its next form of government.

Rodolfo Spada, former President of the Istalian Sarrentine Community (successor of the former Community of Quanzar), who had emerged since the demonstrations of last November as the leader of the monarchist front, if he finds practically no opposition in promoting the imperial restoration he will surely have to divide the scenes with Annamaria Sigonella, former President of the Istaliana Autonomous Community of Alaria (also successor of the former Republic of Alaria) who during the election campaign, although initially hesitated in placing herself in the camp of supporters of the monarchy, initially dominated by unionists, it finally emerged as the leader of the federalist monarchist front, progressively attracting more and more votes and eroding the support for the front led by Spada.
Among the ranks of the republicans, on the other hand, numerous faces already known previously belonging to the Popular Front of Alaria appeared, especially members of the legislative assemblies of the two constituent states, but none of its previous leaders, quickly torpedoed by the rest of the former party comrades because they were judged as symbols of anti-istalianism and which would have risked impairing the positions of the republican front.

As for who will temporarily lead the Union until the end of the mandate of the Constituent Assembly, the first declarations of the various leaders of the Constituent Assembly showed the common desire to reconfirm Ahmed Sarjani as, probably the last, Federal President in charge with the next Federal Council to put in place the decisions that will be taken by the Assembly and guide the current affairs of the country.

The Constituent Assembly will meet and open its work on 1 March and after the proclamation of the elected representatives, the election of the President of the Assembly and the election of the interim Federal President, who is expected to be in place until the end of the Assembly work, all experts expect that already in the first week the whole united monarchical front will present the proposal for the restoration of the Istalian Empire with the adoption of the traditional Istalian patri symbols, namely the green, white and red tricolor, in the form of the old imperial flag, the hymn "Brothers of Istalia" and the motto, in selucian," Patriae Unitas et Civium Libertas", meaning "Unity of the Country and Freedom of Citizens", both the anthem and the motto seen as never so adequate to the regained unity and rediscovered istalian identity of the country.
Although most likely for the drafting and finalization of the new imperial constitution the Constituent Assembly will certainly take several months if not the first years of its mandate, another thing it seeks to happen in conjunction with the proclamation of the Empire will be the offer of the Imperial Crown to the House of Al Maydan-Appiano De Borromei, specifically to Paolo Tommaso, son of the current head of the family Eugenia, first to the succession to the throne among the living members of the Imperial House but whose advanced age (81 years) had make already turned preferences to the son for some time towards.

It therefore seems ready to unfold a new future for the country and a new beginning for Istalia more than forty years after its disappearance from the geographical maps. The debate is just beginning about his internal organization and the relations between the various powers of the state, but President Sarjani has already revealed some glimpses regarding his position towards the world who, strong of his position as leader of the majority of the members of the Assembly, has already assured that the country will remain faithful to the foreign policy and military doctrine that the Union of Quanzar and Alaria has adopted up to now, showing how in relation to foreign policy the country has been profoundly influenced by the isolationism of the sixth republic, from the sovereignism of the Union of Quanzar and Alaria and from a centuries-old disillusionment with the international stage and the World Congress, an attitude that had already taken hold under the First Empire.

Many, on the other hand, are wondering what will become of the language policies adopted by the country and what will be of the Alarian and Sarrentine communities but the composition of the Constituent Assembly and the strong federalist instances that dominate it, and the localist component as a very strong component, make the tip the balance sway towards maintaining the policies adopted under the Union with the recognition of the reality of the Communities of the Peninsula and of the Island as well as of the linguistic and cultural particularities of the various regions.

Radiciale emerges, heir to the FPA
The new party begins the direct confrontation with the foreseeable return of the Istalian Empire with a bellicose and aggressive tone

July 5074

Ginevra Nardozzi in a meeting with Alarian people

From the ashes of the Popular Front of Alaria a powerful new political force has been reborn: Radiciale. With a name that plays with Istalian terminology ("Radici" for roots and "radicale" for radical) the new party aspires to collect all the discontent with the foreseeable extinction of the Union of Quanzar and Alaria and the "imposition", according to its words, of an emperor once again.

Its general secretary and founding member, Ginevra Nardozzi, has already made it clear after her first words that they are not going to be a docile party, and has denounced the media and political manipulation behind what she considers "a foreign intervention against the sovereignty of the Union ".

"We will not be the ones to deny that there were no things that could be improved within the Union, but what this "Constituent Assembly" intends, after a referendum of dubious democratic quality, unknown participation and whose results have been deliberately manipulated, intends to return us to being slaves of a family imperial, taking our nation back centuries, when the guidance of divine figures was needed because we simple villagers couldn't make our own decisions.

Mrs. Nardozzi wondered how it is possible that, "with the political configuration that has existed in our Union in recent decades, with the FPA, a purely republican party always capitalizing around 50% of the votes, the option of restoring the imperial family win by an overwhelming majority?" and she has made it clear that her party will not engage in any conversation with the future monarch of reborn Istalia.

"We are clearly going to present ourselves in the future elections, and we will do so with the conviction that the people of the Union want a Union of sovereign, free and equal peoples, and not what this Constituent Assembly is seeking by homogenizing our nations, pretending to give ourselves a false independence, and submit us to the will of a monarch. We are going to introduce ourselves, we are going to go with the idea of winning, and we are going to make it clear that we are not going to engage in any kind of conversation with the future Emperor or Empress."

Mrs. Nardozzi has defined the day of the vote for the constitution of the Istalian Empire again as a "black day for democracy", has accused the promoter party of all the reform - the extinct Identity and Unity - of "submissive servants" and "enemies of the people" and has made it clear that Radiciale will give "a surprise and the occasional scare" in the next elections.

"Let them prepare because we have come to make war and stand up" she has said as final words.

This bellicose language contrasts with the tone that the FPA maintained during its last legislatures, more moderate and appealing to a larger population, so it is not known how its directly descending party will do in the next elections. What is clear is that what seemed to be a peaceful transition to a new political system and a rebirth of the Istalian Empire has been cut short. At the moment the party's electoral program is unknown, but various sources consulted describe it as openly republican, anti-fascist, and socialist - "but true socialism, not the social democratic scam" - some qualify.

Working on the new Constitution
The debates within the Constituent Assembly are becoming ever more intense with the most heated confrontations taking place between unionists and federalists

27 October 5074

COLSAMIA - Now there are only a few days before the official proclamation of the restored Istalian Empire and the officialization of the accession to the throne of Paolo Tommaso Al Maydan Appiano De Borromei of Marsama and with it the traditional Istalian patriotic symbols, the green, white, red tricolor, the national anthem "Fratelli d'Istalia" and the motto "Patriae Unitas et Civium Libertas" will be reintroduced.

Rodolfo Spada, promoter of the Resolution for the Istalian and Imperial restoration and leader of the monarchical component, stated regarding the re-adoption of these symbols:

I firmly believe that, in addition to the restoration of the Crown, the re-adoption of these symbols is to be considered equally if not more important from a symbolic point of view since they will be the most tangible sign of the rediscovered unity and identity of a people whose millennial history has been denied for too long.

The millennial colors of that flag are the same ones that Alaria has adopted, and it could not be otherwise considering the history of the origins of our people and it is undeniable how those colors were the basis of the Union flag and of the one of the Community of Quanzar. If before they were divided into two different flags, with the re-adoption of the Istalian flag also with that symbol we are finally reaffirming the reunification of our people.

The reintroduction of our anthem will reconfirm a reality that despite so many efforts adverse to us it has been kept within our hearts, namely the fact that we are all brothers. Despite the different political views, the different ethnic groups and religions that have always made up our people, the truth is that we are brothers and as such we will always have to act.
Let me then add that with the hymn we will always remember what the term Quanzar meant for us, what that hymn speaks explicitly about it, that is a past of oppression and repeated attempts to cancel our culture. This is not propaganda, this is not revisionism, it is pure and simple history and the memory of the Quanzar Emirate's subjugation of the peninsula and of the first true istalian entity, the Kingdom of Istalia, and then the memory of three, not one, but three criminal attempts by part of the Quanzarian Hessexians to eradicate our civilization.
It is our fault thus if the name Quanzar brings back so many dark memories? Memory of destructive cultural, political and economical raids fed just by the hate for our people and our will to make this great country in our image.
And I also believe that using the term quanzarians with our compatriots majatran Istalians is a grave wrong that we do them, a term that for too long I believe has also been used in a malicious way to continue to blame them for millennia-old guilt and recriminations.

Finally, the re-adoption of the Istalian motto, a motto that has accompanied us for many millennia, reaffirms the unity of the homeland, the unity of all Istalians after decades of devious work to divide us, and not only: with the motto we also reaffirm the value that most of all has been dear to our people and has guided our journey through the centuries, that is the liberty, as well as the most important of the principles that have guided the action of the previous Istalian governments, that is the respect for the freedom of citizens and their most fundamental rights.

If this resolution was adopted very quickly and with not excessive debates, although protests, even animated ones, have inflamed the banks of the republicans, now that for some months the Assembly has been actively working on the new constitution, the debates are also becoming more intense and certainly the most heated are the ones discussing how the fundamental law should regulate the division of sovereign powers between the central state and its territorial subdivisions.
It is undeniable how the forty years of the Union of Quanzar and Alaria from this point of view have profoundly influenced the population and already from the results of the elections for the Assembly it was clear that the majority of the population is in favor of a much more decentralized state compared to past Istalian regimes, all characterized by a quite centralized form of state.

It was precisely the federal monarchists who presented the first draft and proposal for the Constitution and as we could see both the role of the traditional five Istalian Regions but above all that of the two Communities that emerged under the Union of Quanzar and Alaria was held in great account, with the desire to continue to consider them constituent entities of the country with a much greater importance than has ever been given to the Regions.

The federal monarchists and more than half of the federal republicans on this point seem to have temporarily put aside their major differences to ensure that the future Constitution delineates a federal state and that the recognition and role of the Sarrentine Community and of the Community of Alaria are enshrined in the fundamental law of the state granting them political and cultural powers and protections.
Several Assembly members elected by those opposed to the Istalian restoration, part of the Federal Republicans, answered reporters' questions about their unexpected willingness to work with the monarchists saying that if the Empire and Istalia are to be restored, the form of a federal government will allow them to continue to assert their positions and to protect the two communities that emerged on the Peninsula and on the island.

Annamaria Sigonella, leader of the federal monarchists, also told journalists that a slavish return to the past is not possible and that the new Istalia will have to recognize what has changed and welcome with open arms what of new today characterizes the country. Born in Całeon, the capital of Nicoma, Sigonella, like many islanders and now colleagues of the Constituent Assembly, has been strongly influenced since birth by island autonomy idelas and although she has rejected from an early age the populist positions that described Istalia as an "artificial and oppressive state", she has embraced the autonomist positions "to be asserted and claimed within the Istalian nation, which can only enrich our people and strengthen the memory of the ancestral origins of the Istalians".

The collaboration between the two federal factions has led to the conclusion of various compromises on both sides but on the other hand this collaboration has led the unionists of the whole assembly to take even more entrench themself on their positions. The unionist monarchists, who welcome the most traditionalists of the monarchists and the most ardent supporters of state homogeneity and centrality, seem to have been the most disappointed and have launched harsh criticisms against the rest of the monarchists accusing them of having given in too much, especially on the role of theEmperor. The unionist monarchists in fact had among their proposals the adoption of the old imperial constitution exempt from the amendments introduced over the years and which focused more on the role of the Emperor and recognized him a greater degree of authority. Indeed, among the federal monarchists, many have supported and have shown themselves willing to outline in the Constitution the fundamental role in the determination of the government of the President of the future legislature, a position and role that the Presidents of the legislature under the first empire had already assumed as a result of subsequent amendments to the original constitution.

The Unionist Republicans, who had brought together the pro-istalian republicans and who had immediately had harsh issues with the anti-istalians from the federal republican front, for their part have distanced themselves even further by openly accusing the rest of the republicans of being traitors, both because they have welcomed those who, according to them, have always worked and plotted to destroy Istalia, and because they have shown themselves so ready to come to terms with the devil, the monarchists, exclusively to protect local and autonomist interests rather than the common anti-monarchist mission. Among the monarchists most heavily criticized by the Unionist Republicans was Annamaria Sigonella, defined as a cunning enchantress who is manipulating with a bewitching eloquence both her own people and the Federal Republicans for her exclusive interest and the interests of Alaria only.

Another interesting phenomenon recorded in recent months is the increasingly limited participation in the work by various members of the Assembly who place themselves between the unionist and federal republicans and who have been elected as exponents of that galaxy of movements and idologies of the left and of far left that seems to be concentrating on organizing itself politically outside the Constituent Assembly in these recent days.

Leaving aside the themes of the Assembly, during the afternoon the press approached the Interim Federal President Sarjani to question him on the criticisms recently launched against the Assembly and the Imperial restoration by the newly formed party "Radiciale" whose leaders questioned the regularity of the constituent elections and the results that came out of the polls:

Neither government nor judicial authorities have detected irregularities or fraud in the constituent elections, much less interference by external agents. Not even the press has raised such criticism.

These are baseless criticisms launched by a party that opposes the imperial restoration. When can such statements be considered reliable and impartial?

I think it is clear and evident from what resulted the outcome of the constituent elections, perhaps too evident to deserve an explanation, but it is my intention to respond civilly without giving in to provocations by saying this: for years now, clearly since the dissolution of the Quanzarian League, the issue that increasingly pressed the country and public opinion the most, and which has also overshadowed the diatribes between federalists and unitarians, was the restoration of an Istalian nation, with more and more citizens who in the end no longer recognized themselves in the Union coming to the awareness that there were no further spaces for evolution, that the Union was a bizarre experiment that weakened and divided our people, a public opinion that woke up deeply disappointed by the populist propaganda of the separatists and who realized that in truth Istalia was still alive and well. And who was it that fought to prove that Istalia was not dead? Who was it to demonstrate to this country the way to a newfound unity? The answers is the party that undoubtedly for thirty years has done nothing but increase its consensus and the one that has worked with ever greater commitment for the well-being of citizens and, paradoxically, to make the Union of Quanzar and Alaria more functional and serious.

That party was the same one that remained the only political force with still strength and above all the will to express the popular will, to remain close to our citizens and to continue working for the good of the citizens.
The only party that has really offered a clear, coherent and concrete vision to this nation, the only one that has really offered hope to this country and its newfound awareness and identity.

A chi, dunque, dovevano affidarsi i nostri concittadini? Who could they turn to? Who could they trust? The truth is that even those who perhaps did not support the monarchical positions and also many of those who opposed them openly, with a maturity worthy of the greatest democracies and conspicuously abandoned by other political forces probably finally recognized as movements interested only in protecting the interests of just a part of the nation, have recognized Identity and Unity as the only political force to offer a sharp and clear vision for the future of the country, the only one that fought for the restoration of Istalia, truly the only way to restore vigor and future to the country.

And furthermore, instead of fantasizing about conspiracies and about strong powers from abroad, a well-tried excuse used by regimes of dubious morality as well as by dissidents who are only good at criticizing to justify events they do not understand or do not want to accept, these people should answer these questions: Where were these interested and alas angry fellow citizens months ago? Where were they while the citizens went to the polls to cast their vote? Where were they while in this country our compatriots finally reopened their eyes? Were they limited in any way? Were they pressured? Threatened? Didn't they had time to organize themself maybe?

Even for some of us from Identity and Unity it seemed impossible what happened forty years ago, many of us too had found in the idea of subtle external influences a scant consolation for the destiny of Istalia, but the truth is that in the face of a situation of collapse and without a future the citizens of a nation, both either by anger or by hope, are led to take decisions that in very different times, as we have seen, can left us confused and incredulous.

This is the simple truth of the facts and of what happened. I will conclude by saying that I wish the Radiciali a healthy competition in the coming years within this new and rediscovered institutional and cultural background. And if in the future the polls will reward them, it will be for issues on which our citizens will find much more advantage on which to debate, issues such as economy, culture, research, science, and why not, even the form of government, but certainly all of us now find ourselves united again on our common identity.

Thank you
