GDP is increasing and the Alliance fears a new defeat
Data from the Statistics Office confirm the forecasts by the Socialists to which the Alliance has difficulty opposing

ROMULA - The National Statistics Office released official data this morning on the performance of the Istalian economy in the last semester: GDP growth as well as tax revenues from companies and consumption and which year after year is breaking down the public deficit. Growth in production driven by consumption and therefore by domestic demand, which reflects an increase in incomes and greater confidence which, in fact, leads to greater consumption and greater investment. The poor and those below the poverty line also fall.
The data of the Statistics Office, if they have crowned the efforts of the Social Democrats during the last decade, have generated concern among the opposition ranks, the ANI, now unable to credibly attack the Government from an economic point of view.
On the other hand, Almirante had already abandoned the hyper-liberal positions of the previous leadership, as well as publicly defended several reforms by the Social Democrats.
But in the light of the positive economic trend today confirmed, Almirante's chances of attracting the votes of the Istalians again taper ever more, while adherence and respect of the S&D to the Imperial Constitution further undermined one of the prime causes of existence of the National Alliance for the Empire.
Further criticisms, moreover, came against Almirante from several of his opponents, even from within the party, who accused him of exploiting Michele I's departure for electoral purposes, constantly bringing him close to the Alliance. Even Damiano Valenti from Ulbia interviewed by journalists criticized such a behavior, mentioning the efforts by the party and the Court to separate the ANI from the figure of the first Emperor, especially during the years of harsh criticism of the Nationalist Party which accused him to remain a political figure.
