HELIOS - Sebastiano Mirrione, esperto funzionario del ministero degli esteri, giunto ad Helios sette mesi fa per il passaggio di consegne con Romeo, ha trovato una situazione favorevole ed infatti come previsto dopo sei mesi dall'istituzione del Protettorato si sono tenute le prime elezioni dell'Assemblea delle Libere Comunità, elezioni che hanno visto il riemergere di una dialettica politica in Kalopia e che hanno visto prevalere i libertariani moderati.
Il Governatore Generale ha già iniziato i dovuti dialoghi con l'Assemblea per la formazione delle Commissioni dell'Apparato Esecutivo che sarà al vertice del Protettorato e della sua amministrazione, ma tra le cose più importanti che dovranno essere affrontate da Mirrione c'è la gestione dei rapporti tra imprese e comunità locali e quindi l'organizzazione dei più basilari servizi pubblici, ovvero educazione, assistenza sanitaria e servizi sociali, tutti servizi che fino ad oggi erano forniti da privati tramite contrattazioni singole o collettive.
La vittoria delle forze libertariane moderate ha però di fatto indicato una ben precisa via che il Governatore Generale dovrà intraprendere: la situazione socio-economica in Mossavi infatti è sempre stata la migliore di tutta Kalopia, in Mossavi non si è mai arrivati a livelli di violenza ed anarchia insostenibili ed in generale gli strettissimi rapporti tra le libere comunità ed i privati hanno assicurato lavoro, stabilità e servizi per milioni di kalopiani che hanno riconfermato ciò che volevano con queste elezioni: un potere centrale in grado di difendere i confini, assicurare leggi e regole comuni ed il mantenimento dell'ordine, per il resto però la stragrande maggioranza delle libere comunità ha riconfermato il loro supporto ad un sistema socio-economico che vede le corporazioni private come attori fondamentali.
E la delegazione di Helios, tra le più numerose, ha già presentato un dettagliato programma al Governatore Generale sullo sviluppo del futuro welfare di Mossavi e che si baserà sostanzialmente su un sistema di assicurazioni obbligatorie con compagnie private da stipulare individualmente o tramite i datori di lavori mentre per assicurare la copertura anche a chi non lavora o chi non ha i mezzi è previsto un intervento diretto da parte delle autorità pubbliche, autorità pubbliche che garantiranno sgravi fiscali e sussidi con l'obbiettivo di offrire servizi base di buona qualità a tutti i cittadini del Protettorato.
Per quanto riguarda i rapporti con il Protettorato kazuliano e con il Governo centrale di Kalopia-Wantuni in formazione, grazie all'impegno del Partito Lealista, il Governatore Generale ha confermato che i rapporti sono molto buoni e che anzi, alla luce degli sviluppi dei rapporti tra Lealisti e la Eilomax, con i primi che hanno iniziato un processo legislativo per bandire la schiavitù, il Protettorato Istaliano offrirà tutto il suo sostegno al Governo Centrale per reprimere la pratica della schiavitù.
Indiscrezioni non confermate ci dicono invece che Mirrione potrebbe aver incontrato anche i leader del Fronte Rivoluzionario che, abbandonata la militanza armata, sembrano stiano facendo fronte comune sulla scena politica con i Lealisti e che quindi potrebbero divenire anch'essi dei partner con cui rapportarsi per lavorare per il bene di Kalopia.

The victory of moderate libertarian forces has however indicated a very precise way that the Governor General will have to undertake: the socio-economic situation in Mossavi has always been the best of all Kalopia, Mossavi never reached levels of violence and unsustainable anarchy, and in general the close ties between free communities and the multinationals have ensured jobs, stability and services for millions of Kalopians who reconfirmed what they wanted with these elections: a central power capable of defending the borders, assure the security, common laws and rules and the maintenance of order but then the vast majority of free communities have reconfirmed their support for a socio-economic system which sees private corporations as key actors.
And the Helios delegation, one of the larger ones, has already presented a detailed program to the Governor General on the development of Mossavi's future welfare and will basically rely on a compulsory insurance system with private companies to be signed individually or through employers while to provide coverage to those who are not working or those who do not have the means it is foreseen a direct intervention by public authorities which will provide tax relief and subsidies with the aim of offering good quality services to all citizens of the Protectorate.
Regarding relations with the kazulian Protectorate and with Kalopia-Wantuni's central government, a central government under reconstruction thanks to the Loyalist Party's commitment, the Governor General has confirmed that the relations are very good and that, in the light of the evolution of relations between Loyalists and Eilomax, with the first who started a legislative process to ban slavery, the Istalian Protectorate has already assured all its support to the Central Government to suppress the practice of slavery while a common anti-slavery text is under developement with the kazulian authorities.
Unsubstantiated rumors tell us instead that Mirrione might have met even the leaders of the Revolutionary Front who, abandoned the armed militancy, seem to be coping with the political scene with the Loyalists and could thus also become partners with whom to relate to work for the good of Kalopia.

ROMULA - Le forze dell'ordine si sono presentate ai domicili delle due parlamentari ai vertici del triumvirato che da quasi dieci anni sta guidando il PSLI e lo hanno fatto accompagnati da due avvisi di garanzia della Procura di Romula.
Contemporaneamente sono stati recapitati altri 73 avvisi di garanzia ad altrettanti esponenti del PSLI, 36 dei quali attualmente siedono alla Camera ed al Senato mentre 21 sono stati sottoposti ad arresto preventivo per evitare il rischio di inquinamento delle prove se non per problemi di reperibilità.
Anche per i Social Liberali l'accusa è associazione a delinquere finalizzata a corruzione, peculato e concussione ed a quanto pare la Procura di Romula sta spazzando via una cortina di fumo rivelando un sistema molto più ramificato e radicato di quanto si potesse immaginare.
Il sistema tocca le amministrazioni delle grandi città come tutta la burocrazia statale, l'amministrazione pubblica a livello nazionale e regionale come anche i vertici dei ministeri e di fatti oltre agli avvisi di garanzia agli esponenti politici ne sono stati fin ora recapitati oltre 500 a moltissimi volti noti e meno noti dell'amministrazione pubblica, tra i quali manager, direttori dipartimentali, funzionari e faccendieri di ogni sorta e tipo.
A quanto pare sono risultati più come delle vittime che come collaboratori i diversi imprenditori e le varie aziende medie e grandi chiamate in causa durante le indagini hanno svelato un mondo nascosto di affari sordidi, estorsioni e minacce, tutto ciò a seguito dello scandalo wantuniano che ha visto buona parte delle imprese coinvolte sono state portate in causa davanti alla giustizia per i presunti illeciti avvenuti in wantuni, un processo che però si è arenato per scarsità di prove ma che non è mai stato totalmente archiviato; infatti, grazie alle recenti dichiarazioni di molte dirigenze di queste aziende, che hanno deciso di venire allo scoperto dopo il crollo del PPI, quel che per anni è stato nascosto è che una gran parte della maggioranza di Governo avrebbe fatto forti pressioni su giudici ed inquirenti per evitare l'archiviazione del processo e delle indagini così da avere un arma con la quale fare pressioni su tutte le aziende coinvolte portando dunque all'instaurarsi di un circolo vizioso di mazzette che avrebbero garantito possibilità di lavoro e guadagno per quella o quell'altra azienda, un sistema che ha arricchito enormemente politici ed amministratori locali ma che ha anche favorito alcune aziende al posto di altre.
Proprio su quest'ultimo punto gli inquirenti hanno dichiarato che probabilmente si teme la scoperta di qualcosa di molto più grave e profondo, un disegno atto a favorire alcuni gruppi di interessi vicini ai partiti della maggioranza ed alle forze armate.
Proprio queste ultime sono state prese di mira dall'apertura di un'ulteriore indagine poiché la Procura teme che i vertici della difesa nazionale siano stati protagonisti di un ulteriore grandi giro di tangenti legate agli appalti per la difesa che da oltre dieci anni è entrata in una fase di rinnovamento, un programma avviato sotto l'ultimo governo progressista e fortemente sostenuto proprio dalla Zanardi che potrebbe ritrovarsi coinvolta anche in quest'ultima indagine.

Da Palazzo Quattroregni intanto il Portaparola della Presidenza della Repubblica ha fatto sapere che il Presidente Verhoeven non rilascerà alcuna dichiarazione per volontà di attendere lo sviluppo delle indagini da parte della giustizia.
Intanto però tutta la maggioranza di governo ha cominciato ad essere presa di mira dagli esponenti dell'opposizione che hanno organizzato diverse manifestazioni nelle maggiori città istaliane mentre dai banchi di Camera e Senato i rappresentanti del Fronte Democratico hanno cominciato a mostrare cartelli e manifesti nonché ad inveire contro i colleghi sempre meno numerosi della maggioranza di Governo.
Inoltre, una rappresentanza ufficiale del Fronte Democratico guidata da Luca Segantini sembra abbia richiesto un incontro urgente con il Presidente della Repubblica che però sembra stia ignorando la richiesta.
Segantini ha così dichiarato all'uscita della Camera questa mattina:

Spero che il Presidente Verhoeven si stia rendendo conto che la maggioranza parlamentare alla testa della quale ha deciso di mettersi si sta sfaldando sotto i colpi della giustizia e che un gigante dai piedi d'argilla è ormai sul punto di crollare.
Non sappiamo se il Presidente sia coinvolto in prima persona e non credo sia giusto lanciare accuse senza alcuna prova, ma personalmente ho seri dubbi che il Presidente non fosse al corrente di quel che stava accadendo sotto di lui dopo così tanti anni di permanenza al potere.
Comunque, anche se fosse, abbiamo ormai conferma di quello che per anni l'opposizione ha cercato di denunciare! Durante gli anni di emergenza per la giustizia è stato quasi impossibile riuscire ad indagare su simili fatti ma oggi finalmente tutto ciò sta venendo a galla ed il Fronte Democratico crede fermamente che il Presidente Verhoeven dovrebbe immediatamente dimettere questo Governo e quindi presentare lui stesso le sue dimissioni.
È giunto il momento di dire basta con oltre venti anni di una politica che è stata avvelenata da interessi personali che, cosa ancor peggiore, hanno sfruttato il momento più cupo della storia recente del paese per lucrare sulla pelle della nostra società!
I due partiti più vecchi del panorama politico istaliano sono già stati coinvolti, una figura veramente indegna per chi da più di un secolo si mostra come sostenitore dei più nobili valori della nazione, ma temiamo seriamente che non saranno gli ultimi!
Se il Presidente Verhoeven continuerà a negarsi il Fronte Democratico lo avverte fin da subito che porteremo in piazza un altro milione di persone e stavolta ci accamperemo davanti al Palazzo Presidenziale finché Verhoeven non lo lascierà!

ROMULA - The law enforcement officials have lodged at the homes of the two parliamentarians at the top of the triumvirate who has been driving the PSLI for nearly ten years and they bring with them two warrants from the Prosecutor's Office of Romula.
At the same time, 73 additional warrants were sent to as many PSLI members, 36 of whom are currently sitting in the Chamber and into the Senate, while 21 have been arrested for preventing the risk of destruction of the evidence.
Even for the Social Liberals, the accusation is corruption, embezzlement and extortion and apparently, the Romula's prosecutor is wiping out a curtain of smoke revealing a much more branched and rooted system than we could imagine.
The system affects the administrations of big cities as well as the state bureaucracy, the public administration at national and regional level as well as the top of the ministries and in fact as well as the guarantee notices to the political representatives over 500 of it have so far delivered to many known and less known faces of public administration, including managers, departmental directors, officials and brokers of all kinds and types.
Apparently the various entrepreneurs and the various medium and large companies involved in the investigation were more like victims than colaborators and they have unveiled a hidden world of sordid business, extortion and threats, all this following the wantunian scandal which sees most part of business involved were brought to justice before allegations of illicit crimes committed in Wantuni, a process which ran aground for lack of evidence but has never been completely dismissed; in fact, thanks to the recent declarations of many executives of these companies who have decided to find out after the collapse of the PPI, what has been hidden for years is that a large majority of the Government majority would have made strong pressures on judges and investigators to avoid the archiving the process and investigations so that they could have a weapon to put pressure on all the companies involved, thus leading to a vicious cycle of bribes that would ensure job opportunities and earnings for this or that other Company, a system that has enormously enriched local politicians and administrators but also favored some companies in place of others.
Precisely on this last point, investigators stated that they probably fear the discovery of something far more serious and profound, a design designed to favor certain interest groups close to majority and armed parties.
The latter have been targeted by the opening of a further investigation since the Public Prosecutor fears that national defense highranks could have been the protagonists of a further major system of national defense-related bribery, a national defense which for over ten years has entered a phase of renewal, a program launched under the last progressive government and strongly supported by Zanardi, who might also be involved in the latter investigation.

From Palazzo Quattroregni, meanwhile, the Spokeperson of the Presidency of the Republic has informed that President Verhoeven will not release any statement for his will to await the development of investigations by justice.

During the years of emergency for the Justice it was almost impossible to investigate such facts but finally all this is coming to an end and the Democratic Front firmly believes that President Verhoeven should immediately resign this government and thus present himself his resignation.
It is time to say enough with over twenty years of a politics that was been poisoned by personal interests that, even worse, have exploited the darkest moment in the recent history of the country to profit on the skin of our society!
The two oldest parties in the Istalian political landscape have already been involved, a truly unworthy figure for those who for more than a century have shown themselves as supporters of the nation's most noble values, but we are seriously concerned that they will not be the last!
If President Verhoeven will continue to deny himself to the Democratic Front, we warn him immediately that we will bring another million people to the square and this time we will be in front of the Presidential Palace until Verhoeven leaves it!

ROMULA - La crisi scoppiata sui mercati di Dalibor a seguito del default dello stato dovaniano di New Verham ha raggiunto anche l'Istalia e stamattina alla borsa di Romula sono stati bruciati almeno ottanta miliardi di LIS.
Ha subire un vero e proprio crollo è stato il titolo di Hasan Grand Holding, la principale holding istaliana e che proprio in Dovani ha investimenti per miliardi e miliardi di Lire, a seguito di una radicata penetrazione nei mercati dei paesi orientali che sono stati tra i primi ad essere interessati dagli investimenti della Hasan Grand Holding già durante l'ultimo secolo del periodo isolazionista dell'Italia.
Intanto quattro grandi banche (Banca Mariani, Banca Monte dei Marchesi di Silicia, Banca Popolare di Verunia, UlbiCredit) hanno annunciato forti sofferenze dei loro comparti finanziari.
Il Testo Unico sulla Regolamentazione del Settore Bancario stavolta, dopo la crisi degli anni '70 che aveva colpito CrediPol ed un aumento della vigilanza da parte della Banca d'Istalia, sembra potrà garantire la stragrande maggioranza dei risparmi ma due di esse, Banca Popolare di Verunia e Banca Mariani hanno già annunciato una prossima seria revisione delle loro attività creditizie, cosa che fa temere un aumento dei tassi d'interesse per mutui e finanziamenti ai privati.
In Padagna contemporaneamente due compagnie finanziarie hanno dichiarato bancarotta per la repentina perdita di miliardi a causa di un'attività azzardata e selvaggia sui favorevoli mercati di Dalibor City negli ultimi anni; la cosa ha mandato in fumo interi fondi di investimento sui quali oltre dodici mila clienti avevano i loro risparmi mentre alcune società assicurative mediche tremano per la perdita di investimenti vitali per la loro attività.

Il nuovo secolo si apre dunque con una serissima crisi che si sta espandendo rapidamente in tutto il mondo, con i mercati Artaniani che risultano tra i più scossi e con Majatra che a sua volta sta soffrendo i primi scossoni con Romula e soprattutto Wiel già toccate.
L'Istalia inevitabilmente è stata una delle prime nazioni del continente ad essere colpita e la cosa arriva durante una seria crisi politica ed istituzionale dovuta ad uno scndalo di corruzione che sta man mano rivelando tutta la sua ampiezza.
Il Presidente Verhoeven ha comunque immediatamente convocato il Ministro delle Finanze ed in seguito una riunione del Consiglio dei Ministri.
Un serio contrasto è sorto comunque tra le posizioni del Ministro delle Finanze, il Radicale Angelo Dominiciani, e quelle del Presidente del Consiglio Lucas Berlusconi: Dominiciani infatti ha sostenuto le posizioni del suo partito avanzando proposte chiaramente rivolte ad un intervento statale per affrontare possibili fallimenti di istituti finanziari, coprire le perdite di fondi assicurativi, tutelare i redditi tramite possibili imposte straordinarie sui megaredditi e quindi avviare importanti progetti nazionali per sostenere il lavoro e gli investimenti, puntando a sostenere le aziende nazionali anche tramite politiche protezionistiche; a tutto ciò si è fortemente opposto il Capo di Governo, esponente del partito più liberista del Paese e che ha invece dichiarato che in caso di peggioramento della situazione lo stato dovrebbe piuttosto ridurre le proprie spese per poter garantire alle imprese importanti sgravi fiscali e quindi la possibilità di continuare ad investire, produrre e creare lavoro affrontando un calo negli scambi internazionali che si prevede sarà notevole, inoltre tagliando le imposte sui redditi si potranno mantenere vivi i consumi della popolazione che potrebbero affrontare aumenti nei prezzi di beni e servizi come anche ristrettezze economiche.
Questa seria spaccatura va a peggiorare dei rapporti sempre più tesi tra i membri della maggioranza con i parlamentari Radicali che stanno anche dimostrando il loro sdegno nei confronti dei colleghi ed alleati coinvolti nello scandalo della corruzione.

However, President Verhoeven immediately summoned the Minister of Finance and later a meeting of the Council of Ministers.
A serious contrast, however, has arisen between the positions of the Minister of Finance, the Radical Angelo Dominiciani and those of the President of the Council Lucas Berlusconi: Dominiciani in fact supported the positions of his party by making clear proposals for state intervention to face possible bankruptcies of financial institutions, cover losses of insurance funds, protect income through possible extraordinary tax on savings and high income thus protect the istalian companies and start important national projects to support work and investment, aiming to support national companies also through protectionist policies; All these proposals were strongly opposed by the Head of Government, the exponent of the country's most liberal party, and who said that in the event of a deterioration of the situation, the state should rather reduce its expenses in order to secure important tax relief for enterprises and so graant the possibility to continue investing, producing and creating jobs facing a fall in international trade that is expected to be significant, and by cutting income taxes it will be possible to keep alive the consumption of the population that could face increases in prices of goods and services, as well as economic constraints.
This serious split is worsening the growing fracture between majority members with Radical MPs who are also demonstrating their disdain for colleagues and allies involved in the corruption scandal.

ROMULA - Per molti era solo questione di tempo, gli Ambientalisti già l'avevano denunciato, ma infine le indagini sullo scandalo corruzione ha raggiunto anche le fila del PPC e tra i coinvolti quella che sembra nella posizione peggiore è l'ex Presidente del Consiglio e Ministro della Difesa Nina Berlusconi, che oltre che delle accuse di corruzione viene accusata anche di sfruttamento delle sue passate posizioni istituzionali per profitto personale, nello specifico colpevole di aver favorito aziende di proprietà della famiglia Berlusconi, soprattutto nel settore della difesa.
Molti dei coinvolti inoltre sono esponenti locali del PPC che grazie ai successi elettorali a livello locale nelle ultime due decadi erano presenti in molte amministrazioni locali.
I coinvolti tra i soli parlamentari ormai ha superato l'impressionante cifra di 150, numeri che pongono seri problemi per la legittimità del parlamento che vede moltissimi suoi membri indagati.
L'immunità Parlamentare a questo punto sta facendo crescere il dibattito tra forze politiche ed opinione pubblica sulla necessità di chiamare al più presto elezioni anticipate.
Una proposta di elezioni anticipate già presentata dai Radicali è stata però già respinta dal Parlamento, questo perchè, come puntualizzato dal Partito Sociale di Unità Nazionale, mancano solo 7 mesi alla scadenza naturale della legislatura.
Tra la popolazione comunque sta montando l'indignazione e le proteste si stanno moltiplicando e sempre più sembra stiano chiedendo al Presidente Verhoeven di sciogliere al più presto le Camere, ormai considerate sconfessate ed illegittime.
Il Presidente della Repubblica comunque ha già espresso il suo supporto alla decisione di aspettare Luglio mentre ha annunciato la sua decisione di incontrare gli esponenti del Fronte Democratico, molti infatti sostengono la formazione di un'esecutivo provvisorio soprattutto a seguito del coinvolgimento della famiglia Berlusconi nello scandalo.
In maniera molto defilata intanto Lorenzo Verhoeven ha incontrato i vertici del suo partito e dopo una lunga notte di dibattiti sembra si sia giunti alla decisione di indire al più presto un Congresso Nazionale per nominare una nuova leadership.
Verhoeven sembra abbia presentata le dimissione che, anche se non richieste formalmente, tutti nel partito si aspettavano, dimissioni che potrebbero rafforzare le posizioni di chi a gran voce sta chiedendo le dimissioni del Presidente che comunque non è stato toccato dallo scandalo.

Meanwhile in passing Lorenzo Verhoeven met the high ranks of his party and after a long night of debates, he seems to have come to the decision to initiate as soon as possible a National Congress to nominate a new leadership.
Verhoeven seems to have presented resignations that, even if not formally requested, all in the party expected, resignation that could reinforce the positions of those who are loudly asking for the resignation of the President who however was not touched by the scandal.

ROMULA - Un corteo imponente ha attraversato nella giornata di oggi le strade della capitale, diretta a Palazzo Quattroregni. La manifestazione, promossa dai componenti del Fronte Democratico, è stata convocata "per dare un segnale contro la corruzione e contro la cattiva politica, per chiedere le dimissioni del Governo e di tutti coloro che a vari livelli sono coinvolti nello scandalo". In testa al corteo il leader di Nuova Socialdemocrazia, Democrazia Istaliana e del Partito Ambientalista Istaliano. Al termine della manifestazione l'accampamento democratico visto già altre volte ha tirato su le tende, ma questa volta non in maniera temporanea. "Resteremo qui - hanno spiegato gli organizzatori - fino a quando non avremo le dimissioni di Verhoeven".

Una grande giornata di democrazia - ha commentato Luca Segantini, candidato a Presidente del Fronte Democratico - siamo più di un milione a marciare contro la corruzione e il malaffare. Lo avevamo denunciato tempo fa, lo stato di emergenza è servito solo ad aiutare interessi privati delle industrie militari e a favorire lo scandalo in Wantuni. I cittadini sono stati sacrificati per gli interessi di pochi, ed ora è giusto che paghino. Verhoeven e i suoi devono avere il buon senso di fare un passo indietro e ammettere la propria fine.

ROMULA - Dopo quasi vent'anni di permanenza a Palazzo Quattroregni infine la Presidenza di Verhoeven giunge al termine, una posizione ormai irrimediabilmente indebolita a causa del grave scandalo che ha coinvolto i maggiori partiti della maggioranza, compreso il partito del Presidente, e dalla forte opposizione popolare che ancora una volta ha visto le strade e le piazze della capitale inondati da una marea umana mobilitata dal Fronte Democratico e che ancora una volta ha raggiunto Palazzo Quattroregni organizzando stavolta un sit in permanente.
Il Presidente della Repubblica, dopo aver incontrato i Presidenti di Camera e Senato e quindi i Leader delle forze politiche nazionali, ha riunito per l'ultima volta il Consiglio dei Ministri chiedendo, in primis al Presidente del Consiglio, le dimissioni del Governo, dimissioni arrivate senza troppe discussioni seguite quindi da un discorso alla nazione di Verhoeven:

Cittadini della Repubblica, mi presento davanti a voi per l'ultima volta come Presidente della Repubblica Istaliana per annunciare ufficialmente le mie dimissioni.
Ho preso infine questa decisione per venire incontro ad una situazione che ormai era divenuta insostenibile e che ha diffuso sempre più malcontento tra la popolazione, un malcontento che come Capo dello Stato non ho potuto ignorare.
Vi annuncio inoltre le dimissioni dell'attuale Governo, dimissioni arrivate su mia esplicita richiesta, avendo constatato i gravi sviluppi delle indagini portate avanti dalla Procura di Romula e che ha seriamente colpito buona parte dei partiti dell'attuale maggioranza.
Questa mia decisione è un'ulteriore dimostrazione della mia fede nella Democrazia e del mio rispetto per il volere popolare che negli ultimi mesi ha dimostrato chiaramente come non fosse più sostenibile per l'attuale esecutivo continuare i propri lavori e la propria permanenza al vertice dello Stato.
Riguardo alla condotta di molti esponenti della maggioranza parlamentare, ho piena fiducia nella magistratura ed attendo le conclusioni del potere giudiziario ma in ogni caso non posso che dissociarmi da questo comportamento illegale e condannare con grande dispiacere le azioni che sono state imputate anche a molti miei stretti collaboratori.
In ogni caso, riguardo al mio ruolo come Capo dello Stato in questi lunghi anni, voglio fermamente rimarcare il fatto che tutto ciò che ho fatto è stato per il bene del Paese e dei suoi cittadini durante il più oscuro e difficile periodo degli ultimi cento cinquant'anni della nostra Repubblica.
Al di là dei giudizi prettamente politici, i risultati come ho sempre affermato credo siano ampiamente visibili a tutti: la minaccia terroristica è stata eradicata, in patria come anche all'estero, i nostri cittadini hanno ritrovato la libertà di vivere in sicurezza e sono stati riconfermate loro le libertà che con grande senso del dovere hanno accettato fossero in parte limitate per garantire i migliori strumenti ai difensori della Patria per svolgere il loro lavoro al meglio ed infine penso sinceramente che l'Istalia abbia gestito in modo esemplare e con grande senso etico anche la crisi wantuniana, portando ordine, sicurezza e giustizia in una terra martoriata dall'anarchia e contribuendo anche affinché l'intera nazione kalopiana potesse avviarsi finalmente verso una nuova epoca di pace e sicurezza libera da una delle pratiche più avverse dall'umanità ed in primis dal nostro paese, la schiavitù.
È giunto però il tempo di cambiare, è giunto il momento che il passato lasci il posto al futuro ed è per questo che approfitto di questa occasione per annunciare non solo le mie dimissioni da Presidente della Repubblica ma anche il mio ritiro ufficiale dalla politica.
Nonostante le critiche contro la mia persona ed il mio operato, voglio fermamente rimarcare anche il fatto che ho cercato sempre di ricoprire questo mio ruolo con il massimo senso del dovere e con la mente sempre rivolta ai nostri cittadini ed alla nostra grande bella Nazione.
È stato un onore ricoprire questo importante ruolo istituzionale e voglio ringrazio tutti coloro che in questi anni mi hanno supportato ed hanno avuto fiducia in me e nel mio operato ed auguro sinceramente il meglio per il futuro della Nazione.
Viva la Repubblica! Viva la Democrazia! Viva l'Istalia!

Il Presidente ha quindi annunciato la sua decisione di affidare la temporanea guida dello Stato al Presidente della Camera dei Deputati, essendo il Presidente del Consiglio dimissionario e quindi la decisione di formare un esecutivo provvissorio per gestire gli affari quotidiani del Governo e dell'amministrazione della nazione fino alle prossime elezioni ed alla formazione di un nuovo esecutivo supporttato da una maggioranza parlamentare.

Finisce dunque la lunga era di Verhoeven per l'Istalia, un periodo difficile e caotico, un periodo durante il quale si è visto sia il meglio che il peggio della nazione e che sicuramente sarà argomento di grandi discussioni e dibattiti in futuro per storiografi, politici e cittadinanza, soprattutto il ruolo dello stesso Lorenzo Verhoeven durante i suoi lunghi anni di Presidenza, giudizi che sicuramente divideranno la nazione e che già in effetti l'hanno e la vedono divisa tra detrattori e sostenitori.
Finita questa epoca per la Repubblica Istaliana il futuro sembra piuttosto incerto, anche perché per il Fronte Democratico sembra essere venuto meno l'obbiettivo principale che ha portato Ambientalisti, Socialdemocratici ed Istalodemocratici ad unirsi all'opposizione mentre la maggioranza di governo martoriata dalla magistratura ha perso colui che era il principale collante tra i partiti di Governo.
Comunque, l'esplosione della Crisi Economica Internazionale che ha investito recentemente anche l'Istalia probabilmente porrà le materie socio-economiche al centro delle agende e dei dibattiti politici e molto probabilmente le divisioni ideologiche in campo economico torneranno a dettare i futuri schieramenti politici e le future coalizioni che competeranno per guidare la nazione.

ROMULA - After nearly two decades of permanence at Quattroregni Palace, finally the Verhoeven Presidency ends, a position that has now been irretrievably weakened due to the serious scandal involving the major parties of the majority, including the President's party, and the strong popular opposition which once again has seen the streets and squares of the capital flooded by a human tide mobilized by the Democratic Front and that once again reached Quattroregni Palace organizing this time a permanent sit in.
The President of the Republic, having met with the Chamber and Senate Presidents and then the Leaders of the national political forces, recently met the Council of Ministers asking first of all to the President of the Council the resignation of the Government, resignations came without much discussion followed by a speech to the nation of Verhoeven:

Citizens of the Republic, I present myself before you for the last time as President of the Istalian Republic to officially announce my resignation.
I finally made this decision to meet a situation that has now become unsustainable and that has spread more and more discontent among the population, a dissatisfaction that as Head of State I could not ignore any more.
I also announce the resignation of the current Government, resigned upon my explicit request, having noted the serious developments of the investigations carried out by the Romula's Prosecutor Office and which seriously affected most of the parties of the current majority.
This is my decision to further demonstrate my faith in Democracy and my respect for the popular will which in recent months has clearly demonstrated how it is not more sustainable for the current executive to continue its work and stay at the top of the State .
Regarding the conduct of many members of the parliamentary majority, I have full confidence in the judiciary and I'm waiting for the conclusions of the Judiciary, but in any case I can only dissociate myself from this illegal behavior and condemn with great sorrow the actions of which have been accused of many of my own collaborators.
In any case, with regard to my role as Head of State in these long years, I would like to point out that all that I did was for the good of the country and its citizens during the darkest and most difficult period of the last hundred and fifty years of our Republic.
Beyond the purely political judgments, the results, as I have always said, I firmly believe they are widely visible to everyone: the terrorist threat has been eradicated at home as well as abroad, our citizens have found again the freedom to live safely and their liberties, which with great sense of duty they accepted were partially limited to providing the best tools to the defenders of the homeland to do their best job, have been reconfirmed and finally I honestly think that Istalia has managed exemplary and with great ethical sense also the wantunian crisis, bringing order, security and justice to a land that was martyred by anarchy and also contributing to the whole of the kalopian nation to finally start towards a new era of peace and security free from one of the practices most adverse by humanity and first by our country, slavery.
However, time has come to change, it is time for the past to leave the place for the future and that is why I take this opportunity to announce not only my resignation as President of the Republic but also my official withdrawal from politics.
Despite the criticisms of my person and my work, I also want to emphasize that I have always tried to play this role with the utmost sense of duty and with my mind always turned to our citizens and our great Nation.
It was an honor to cover this important institutional role and I want to thank all those who have supported me in these years and have trusted in me and in my work and sincerely I wish the best for the future of the Nation.
Long live to the Republic! Long live to Democracy! Long live to the Istalia!

The President then announced his decision to entrust temporary as Deputy Head of the State the President of the Chamber of Deputies, as the President of the Council resigned, and therefore the decision to form a provisional executive to manage the daily affairs of the Government and the administration of the nation up to the next elections and the formation of a new executive supported by a parliamentary majority.

Thus ends the long Verhoeven's Era for Istalia, a difficult and chaotic period, a period during which both the best and worst of the nation have been seen and which will surely be the subject of great discussions and debates in the future for historians, politicians and citizenship, especially the role of Lorenzo Verhoeven during his long years of Presidency, judgments that will surely divide the nation and that they already had divided and are dividing between detractors and supporters.
After the end of this era for the Istalian Republic, the future seems rather uncertain, given the fact that the Democratic Front seems to have lost the main motivation that has led the Environmentalists, Social Democrats and the Istalodemocrats to join together at the opposition, while the majority of government battered by the Judiciary has lost the one who was the veritable cement of the government parties.
However, the explosion of the International Economic Crisis that has recently invested Istalia will probably put socio-economic issues at the center of political agendas and of debates and most likely the ideological divisions in the economic field will dictate future political sides and future coalitions which will compete to lead the nation.

È nato "Libertà e Progresso"!
Nuova leadership e nuovo nome: il XXXXVIII congresso dei Social Liberali segna la più importante riforma del partito dai tempi della sua nascita

New leadership and new name: the XXXXVIII Social Liberal Congress marks the most important reform of the party since its foundation

ROMULA - Il 48° Congresso del Partito Social Liberale Istaliano, dilaniato dal recente Scandalo Corruzione, ha rappresentato un vero giro di boa per il Partito fondato nel 4030 da Alessandro Senna (fino al 4051 conosciuto come Partito Socioliberale Istaliano): dopo l'uscita dal partito di Sara Zanardi e Fatima Al Nusri, entrambe sotto processo, Giuseppe Al Whalid è rimasto l'unico degli ex triumviri a guidare il Partito che, dopo aver accettato le dimissioni di Verhoeven, ancora formalmente Segretario Nazionale, ha aperto il Congresso al qualw hanno partecipato oltre 1500 delegati da tutta Istalia.
Si è rivelato un Congresso dinamico e ricco di dibattiti come non avveniva da decenni, con la quasi totale assenza della vecchia guardia ai vertici del Partito della quale l'unico uscito indenne dallo scandalo corruzione era proprio il Capogruppo alla camera Al Whalid.
Al Whalid era dato come il favorito per succedere a Verhoeven ma già dopo il secondo giorno di Congresso evidente è stata l'opposizione di moltissimi delegati, espressione di una stanchezza nei confronti delle classiche politiche rappresentate proprio da Al Whalid.

A dominare la scena del Congresso è prepotentemente emerso il Collettivo Libertariano, nota ala libertariana dei Social Liberali, che in breve ha eclissato Al Whalid, ritiratosi dalla corsa alla Segreteria già il terzo giorno, ed ha monopolizzato l'attenzione del Congresso soprattutto la sua stella nascente, il sindaco di Triesta Camilla Fiorenti, membro del Gruppo del Trivendito, formato da Fiorenti, Mirko Marcigaglia, sindaco di Vinesia e Elio Bertinotti, Governatore della Regione, tutti e tre membri del Collettivo Libertariano.
Proprio la Fiorenti, dopo il ritiro di Al Whalid, ha deciso di agire d'anticipo e mobilitando l'intero Collettivo ha lanciato la sfida al Congresso: "un nuovo partito per una nuova Istalia"!
Il Collettivo Libertariano in pochi giorni è riuscito a portare infine tutto il Congresso a supportare la Fiorenti che, eletta con oltre il 60% delle preferenze si è messa alla testa di un comitato che ha presentato in tempo record un nuovo statuto che è stato infine accettato con una maggioranza anche maggiore e con il quale è stato riformato il Partito Social Liberale che diviene ufficialmente Libertà e Progresso.
Il programma presentato invece, nonostante sia stato approvato dalla maggioranza dei membri, ne ha lasciati quasi altrettanti piuttosto spiazzati poichè sono stati abbandonati diversi capisaldi del passato PSLI, in primis il supporto ad un sistema di Welfare pubblico, da sempre protetto dai Social Liberali; il Collettivo e la Fiorenti infatti hanno chiaramente espresso una posizione che per alcuni è una vera rivoluzione, supportata anche dall'aggravarsi della crisi economica mondiale della quale le ultime proposte Libertariane sembrano essere una risposta, queste le parole della Fiorenti:

Cosa cambia tra pagare i nostri enti per curare un cittadino dal lasciare al cittadino scegliere chi pagare e quindi assicurargli una deduzione fiscale od un rimborso spese? Ve lo dico io: il cittadino sarà a scegliere come lo stato dovrà spendere i suoi soldi, stato che non dimenticherà i più debili che saranno trattati come ogni altro cittadino ed avranno ancor più sgravi e rimborsi rispetto ai redditi più alti, che invece difficilmente riceveranno simili trattamenti. Questo partito cambia, cambia i metodi ed i mezzi, ma non cambia il fine! Quuesto partito continuerà a tenere alta le parole di Alessandro Senna: Libertà, Tolleranza, Solidarietà e Equità!

Ma chi è Camilla Fiorenti? Molti di voi la ricoederanno su riviste di moda e l'avranno vista in tv, ma cominciamo dall'inizio.
Nata nel paesino di provincia Roncisvalle, in Mezzodiurno, si trasferisce a 14 anni a Triesta insieme alla famiglia al seguito del padre assunto nei cantieri della Leonardi.
Proprio a Triesta è notata da un agente della Milona High Fashion, nota agenzia di moda, ed a 16 anni inizia la carriera nel mondo della moda come modella, apparendo negli anni su note riviste, pubblicità e sfilando per diverse case di moda, lavorando tantissimo all'estero ma trovando anche il tempo di laurearsi in economia.
A 23 anni è però vittima di una campagna mediatica contro alcuni suoi scatti di nudo integrale e dopo un anno lontana dalle scene ritorna mostrando di aver sviluppato una forte anima politica che la porta ad accostarsi al PSLI.
A 26 anni aderisce al partito divenendone presto un volto noto e già dopo due anni nel 4191 è eletta consigliere comunale di Triesta mentre nel 4195 vince la corsa alla carica di sindaco della citta andando a formare il già citato Gruppo del Trivendito con il quale aderisce al Collettivo Libertariano.

ROMULA - The 48th Congress of the Istalian Social Liberal Party, torn apart by the recent Corruption Scandal, represented a true turning point for the Party founded in 4030 by Alessandro Senna (until 4051 known as Istalian Socioliberal Party): after the exit from the party of Sara Zanardi and Fatima Al Nusri, both two on trial, Giuseppe Al Whalid remained the only former triumvir to lead the party that after accepting the resignation of Verhoeven, still formally National Secretary, opened the Congress to which partecipated over 1500 delegates from all Istalia.
It turned out to be a dynamic Congress and full of debates as it had not been for decades, with the almost total absence of the old guard at the top of the party, the only one out of the corruption scandal was the Whip at the Chamber Al Whalid himself.
Al Whalid it was bestowed as the favorite to succeed to Verhoeven, but after the Second Congressday it was obvious that many delegates were opposed, expressing a tiredness to the classic politics of the party represented by Al Whalid.

To dominate the scene of the Congress was the Libertarian Collective, a well known Libertarian wing of the Social Liberals, who briefly eclipsed Al Whalid, withdrew from the race to the Secretariat already on the third day, which monopolized Congress's attention, especially his rising star the mayor of Triesta Camilla Fiorenti, a member of the Trivendito Group, formed by Fiorenti, Mirko Marcigaglia, Mayor of Vinesia and Elio Bertinotti, Governor of the Region, all three members of the Libertarian Collective.
Just after the retirement of Al Whalid, Fiorenti decided to act in advance and mobilizing the entire collective has launched the challenge at Congress: "a new party for a new Istalia"!
The Libertarian Collective in a few days has managed to finally bring all the Congress to support Fiorenti, who, with over 60% of the preferences, has headed a committee that has presented in record time a new statute that was finally accepted with an even greater majority and with which the Social Liberal Party has been reformed officially became Libertà e Progresso (in luthorian Freedom and Progress).
The program submitted instead, despite having been approved by the majority of members, has left many very misplaced as several cornerstones of the past PSLI have been abandoned, in particular the support to a public welfare system that has always been protected by the Social Liberals; the Collective and Fiorenti have clearly expressed a position which for some is a true revolution, supported by the aggravation of the global economic crisis of which the latest Libertarian proposals seem to be an answer, these are the words of Ms Fiorenti:

What's the difference between paying our public administration to cure a citizen and leaving the citizen choosing who to pay and then providing him with a tax deduction or an expense reimbursement? I tell you, the citizen will choose how the state will have to spend his money, a state that will not forget the most in need who will be treated like any other citizen and will have even more relief and coverture than the higher incomes, which will hardly receive similar treatments. This party changes, changes methods and means, but does not change the objective! The party will continue to proudly honor the words of Alessandro Senna: Freedom, Tolerance, Solidarity and Equity!

But who is Camilla Fiorenti? Many of you would remember her on fashion magazines and would see her on TV, but let's start from the beginning.
Born in the small village of Roncisvalle, in the Mezzodiurno, she moved to Trieste with her family at the age of 14, following her father hired in the Leonardi shipyards.
Just in Triesta she's noted by an agent of Milona High Fashion, known fashion agency, and at age 16 she starts her career in the world of fashion as a model, appearing over the years in magazines, advertising and fashion shows for different fashion houses, working a lot abroad but also finding time to graduate in economics.

FINISCE L'ERA SEGANTINI, IL CONGRESSO DEL P.A.I. ELEGGE NELLA DI SALVO. FINE DEL FRONTE DEMOCRATICO?
ROMULA - Sono stati 1300 i delegati riuniti al PalaEventi di Romula per la celebrazione del IV Congresso Nazionale del Partito Ambientalista Istaliano. Dopo 17 anni, in cui è successo praticamente di tutto, finisce dunque l'era Segantini. Il leader ha annunciato la sua intenzione di ritirarsi dalla politica attiva per dedicarsi alla sua Green Istalia Foundation e dunque il congresso del partito ha dovuto scegliere fra la candidata dell'area di maggioranza, Nella Di Salvo e il leader della minoranza interna Giorgio Parti. La mozione della Di Salvo si è affermata con il 76% dei consensi mentre il restante 24% è toccato alla linea di Parti, vicina alle rivendicazioni di quello che fu il MePa legate ad una politica oltranzista e di nessun compromesso. Ma non è solo questo il dato: nel discorso di chiusura, infatti, Nella Di Salvo ha lasciato chiaramente intendere che con la fine di Verhoeven e gli stravolgimenti creati dalle inchieste giudiziarie che hanno in sostanza decimato diversi partiti politici istaliani potrebbe essere finito anche il tempo del Fronte Democratico. Infatti, secondo la Di Salvo, "il tempo dell'opposizione allo scempio dei diritti è finito. Ringraziamo N.S. e D.I. per averci aiutato in questo compito, è anche grazie al Fronte se le cose sono cambiate, ma da oggi si apre una fase nuova e ci vorranno strumenti nuovi per affrontarla."

L'esperto economista di Libertà e Progresso presenta la ricetta del partito per superare la crisi che la definisce come "liberalismo senza austerità"

ROMULA - Governo tecnico ancora in carica in Istalia dopo le due elezioni ravvicinate che hanno interessato una scena politica profondamente diversa da quella investita negli anni passati dallo scandalo di corruzione che ha visto crollare il PPI, uno dei partiti storici d'Istalia, e profondi cambiamenti negli altri partiti coinvolti.
Sia le elezioni del 4203 che quelle del 4204 hanno visto solo una coalizione in campo, quella del Fronte Democratico, ma che non è riuscita a guadagnare abbastanza seggi per poter sostenere un governo, una coalizione comunque creatasi per fronteggiare i precedenti governi dell'Alleanza per la Nazione e la Repubblica, nata per guidare la nazione durante l'emergenza terroristica, e che vede i suoi membri profondamente divisi sulle politiche economiche, divenute ormai centrali a seguito del diffondersi della crisi economica mondiale.
Proprio per questo le Segreterie di partito in questo momento sono impegnate in serie contrattazioni che potrebbero portare ad un cambiamento negli equilibri di potere e nelle stesse coalizioni in campo, contrattazioni che però sembra stiano prendendo troppo tempo per molti cittadini che, spaventati dalla crisi, stanno invocando il mondo politico affinché arrivino risposte in tempi brevi.
Infatti, proprio riguardo la crisi, il considerevole calo della domanda globale di beni e servizi sta provocando sofferenze per molte aziende istaliane mentre un generale aumento dei prezzi delle materie prime sta incrementando ancor più i costi di importazione soprattutto per il settore della trasformazione industriale.
In seria crisi invece il settore automobilistico a causa di un massiccio crollo delle vendite e che vede soprattutto la Estal costretta a chiudere ben due stabilimenti industriali, entrambi in Trivendito, che hanno lasciato per strada ben dodici mila lavoratori mentre i vertici aziendali sono sul punto di procedere con un piano di ristrutturazione che potrebbe portare alla messa in mobilità per molti altri lavoratori.
C'è però da dire che i recenti eventi che hanno coinvolti l'Istalia sul piano internazionale hanno sensibilmente aiutato diversi settori che in molte altre economie sono entrati in seria crisi, in primis il settore della difesa: l'Istalia infatti da pochi anni ha stabilito ufficialmente un proprio protettorato sulla regione kalopiana di Mossavi e ciò ha portato il Governo a dover sostenere un importante spesa per la difesa, ma anche a firmare diversi accordi con l'industria della difesa, in primis la multinazionale Leonardi, per ordini legati al rifornimento del contingente mossaviano ed a servizi di manutenzione ed aggiornamento di mezzi impiegati nel Protettorato per garantire la sicurezza del territorio e già da diversi anni si parla di una gara d'appalto per la produzione di un mezzo specificamente adatto ad operare nelle impervie regioni montane del nord di Mossavi e quindi nelle steppe desertiche centrali.
Inoltre, alcune intelligenti regolamentazioni economiche, non solo mai abrogate ma anzi rafforzate pochi decenni fa, in primis la regolamentazione del settore bancario che obbliga gli istituti finanziari a separare le attività finanziarie, molto più a rischio, da quelle bancarie ordinarie, ha impedito ai maggiori gruppi finanziari del paese di essere coinvolti in un effetto domino, anche se gli istituti esclusivamente rivolti alla finanza non ne sono stati protetti.
Dopo il fallimento di due società finanziarie in Padagna arriva infatti la notizia del fallimento di una compagnia assicurativa in Sarregna e di una Banca d'Investimento in Mezzodiurno, quest'ultima, la Vici Investimenti S.p.A., di proprietà della megaholding Hasan, il cui titolo è ancora in picchiata e che ha già annunciato una totale revisione dei propri assets e quindi una ricapitalizzazione, misure che potrebbero generare un'ondata di fallimenti per moltissime aziende controllate dalla multinazionale finanziaria, non solo in Istalia ma anche all'estero, cosa che potrebbe causare un peggioramento della crisi anche al di fuori dei confini nazionali.

Ecco allora che dalla Segreteria di Libertà e Progresso, erede del Partito Social Liberale, arriva un ambizioso programma per riformare l'economia e per affrontare la crisi, una ricetta messa a punto soprattutto da Filippo Marra, giovane professore dell'Università Enrico Bergson e membro del partito, che espone così le sue tesi:

La parola d'ordine è sostenere la domanda ed i consumi! Dobbiamo spronare le aziende a produrre e quindi a creare lavoro e per farlo Libertà e Progresso propone la più estesa e massiccia liberalizzazione economica da almeno cinquant'anni, soprattutto dopo il passaggio insperato delle proposte di Nuova Socialdemocrazia che hanno introdotto leggi per nazionalizzare ed estendere il controllo statale su moltissimi settori.
Fortunatamente si è trattato di una proposta che non ha avuto seguito dal punto di vista delle misure attuative, ma si tratta di provvedimenti che dovranno essere prontamente abrogati altrimenti lo Stato dovrà procedere prima dello scadere dei termini ed ora come ora non credo possiamo permettersi di investire enormi somme di denaro per sterili ed inutili nazionalizzazioni che causerebbero uno shock ben maggiore al sistema economico e scoraggerebbero investitori ed aziende.
Infatti, se proprio devono essere investiti dei soldi, dobbiamo farlo su due ben precisi ambiti: sostenere il potere d'acquisto della popolazione e quindi stimolare l'economia tramite l'avvio di importanti progetti su scala nazionale che coinvolgano la più estesa filiera di attori economici.
Per questo il mio partito propone una serie di misure che siamo sicuri garantiranno molta più libertà per le imprese, favoriranno gli investimenti, garantiranno la competizione e quindi l'innovazione, ma soprattutto stimoleranno la creazione di posti di lavoro.
Libertà e Progresso propone una riforma liberale a tappe dell'intero sistema di welfare nazionale che stimolerà la creazione di un mercato aperto e dinamico e che, se si procederà senza shock per non aggravare la situazione già difficile, riusciranno a garantire anche l'assorbimento degli inevitabili esuberi che si verranno a creare tra la categoria dei dipendenti pubblici.
La nostra proposta può essere riassunta in poche parole: lo stato continuerà a sostenere i propri cittadini, ma saranno loro a decidere come spendere il loro denaro!
Vogliamo infatti permettere al mercato di svilupparsi in primis nel settore della previdenza sociale e della sanità anche se lo Stato continuerà a garantire, tramite deduzioni fiscali e sussidi, una copertura finanziaria per i nostri cittadini. Secondo i calcoli del team da me guidato il Governo riuscirà in questo modo negli anni avvenire a garantire una più efficiente allocazione delle risorse e meno sprechi ed allo stesso tempo rivitalizzerà interi settori, in primis quello assicurativo e sanitario, ma soprattutto con queste misure saranno i cittadini a decidere come verranno spesi i loro soldi e chi sarà ad offrire loro beni e servizi, ma non solo i cittadini, anche le imprese decideranno come gestire il denaro che oggi viene da loro versato per contribuire alla previdenza dei loro dipendenti e saranno contrattazioni collettive e/o individuali a garantire le migliori soluzioni per aziende e lavoratori, anche perché il nostro partito continuerà a difendere la più ampia protezione per i diritti dei lavoratori.
Ma queste riforme riguarderanno anche altri moltissimi settori, in primis le utilities delle municipalità e quindi il settore delle infrastrutture: gli enti pubblici ad ogni livello dovranno aprirsi al settore privato per la gestione di servizi quali l'illuminazione pubblica, la gestione dei rifiuti, la manutenzione del demanio pubblico, ecc... e soprattutto a livello locale siamo sicuri che ciò garantirà importantissime opportunità per una miriade di piccoli e medi imprenditori, una realtà importante per l'Istalia quanto le nostre grandi multinazionali.
Ovviamente non possiamo però aprire al settore privato questi importantissimi e sensibili settori senza delle regole per tutelare i consumatori, ma soprattutto, alla luce dei recenti eventi di malaffare, non possiamo permettere che tutto ciò venga sfruttato da pochi per arricchirsi con azioni che vanificherebbero ogni proposito di competitività, innovazione e sviluppo.
Per questo, il nostro partito, ispirandosi dichiaratamente ad una recente legislazione introdotta in Kazulia, vuole presentare un testo di legge anti-corruzione e garantire fondi al Ministero delle Finanze per rafforzare gli strumenti di monitoraggio e controllo.
Siamo inoltre consci che tutto ciò inizialmente causerà qualche problema, soprattutto per migliaia di dipendenti pubblici, per questo il nostro partito non vuole toccare la legislazione sul sostegno a disoccupati e famiglie ed anzi, anche il progressivo passaggio al nuovo sistema pubblico-privato sarà condotto secondo delle tappe ben definite che permetteranno un passaggio di consegne tra enti pubblici ed imprese private che potrà garantire in tempi brevi l'assorbimento degli esuberi, perché di certo non vogliamo ripetere gli errori del passato con misure sbrigative, draconiane e non monitorate, che causerebbero problemi ben maggiori a livello non solo economico ma anche sociale.
Comunque, tutti questi provvedimenti in primis porteranno a grossi risparmi per tutto il comparto della burocrazia pubblica ma cosa più importante libererà importantissimi fondi che lo Stato potrà investire per progetti nazionali che aiuteranno il settore privato a riprendere fiato e già abbiamo sul tavolo pronte due importanti proposte: il completamento del progetto dei Corridoi Trans-Majatrani, avviando i progetti relativi alla rete ferroviaria, e quindi l'espansione del Porto di Triesta, così che possa sensibilmente aumentare il proprio potenziale di traffico annuale di merci, cosa che crediamo attirerà il commercio globale, grazie alla nostra storica apertura al libero commercio, ma soprattutto anche grazie alla nostra attività diplomatica per portare anche Kalopia-Wantuni e quindi Solentia ad aderire al già citato accordo dei Corridoi Trans-Majatrani che garantirà siamo certi un'aumento delle esportazioni sul continente, soprattutto favorirà i milioni di kalopiani nel nostro Protettorato che ora che stanno ritrovando una certa stabilità dopo una quasi secolare anarchia potranno avere accesso ai sofisticati prodotti istaliani.
Ma i risparmi che deriveranno dalla riforma degli enti pubblici e della burocrazia non ci permetteranno di sostenere dei progetti nazionali, ma ci daranno anche l'opportunità di tagli alle imposte sui consumi e per le società, una semplificazione ed una riduzione dell'imposta dei redditi, una misura che proteggerà il potere di acquisto dei nostri cittadini e quindi libererà fondi per garantire sgravi fiscali a start up e giovani che vogliano investire per creare nuove imprese, e per questo ultimo punto prenderemo spunto da un passato programma governativo conosciuto come Istalia Nuova, uno dei più importanti programmi di stimolo all'economia degli ultimi cento cinquant'anni e che crediamo garantirà altrettanti buoni risultati.
Infine, crediamo sarà necessario varare una serie di regolamenti per tutelare i consumatori e per evitare che condotte illegali, disoneste o semplicemente inique possano portare a sofferenze per i nostri cittadini e soprattutto per i più bisognosi, ma anche a problematiche nella gestione di servizi di vario genere, e sarà dunque interesse del mio partito presentare uno o più testi a tutela dei consumatori e già stiamo lavorando per definire le linee guida di alcuni testi legati alle gestione delle utilities a livello locale e quindi ad un testo relativo al diritto alla salute dei cittadini nel quale crediamo fermamente sarà dovere dei privati, con il necessario supporto Statale, garantire il primo soccorso e quindi standard sanitari adeguati per tutti, ed ovviamente in primis vogliamo evitare che le assicurazioni sanitarie possano lucrare tramite assicurazioni di dubbia qualità, questo soprattutto per tutelare i redditi più bassi.
Spero che questo programma riceva il necessario supporto da parte delle forze politiche del paese e che possa già da ora contribuire a far ben sperare positivamente i mercati finanziari e le borse.

Il Corriere ha voluto però porre altre due domande a Marra, una domanda relativa al rischio che i fallimenti di imprese ed aziende possano interessare infine anche attività che il mondo accademico definisce con il termine luthoriano "too big to fail" ed una invece relativa alla possibilità di una spesa in deficit nel caso i fondi liberati per gli investimenti proposte non dovessero bastare, e questa è stata la risposta di Marra:

Il nostro partito al riguardo, alla luce della crisi economica, vorrebbe mantenere per lo stato la possibilità di intervenire in caso di seri fallimenti, almeno relativi al settore bancario che è vitale per ogni importante economia ma ci sono nell'aria anche altri progetti! Alcuni dei miei collaboratori ad esempio hanno già proposto la creazione di una Bad Bank per assorbire i titoli tossici che negli ultimi anni hanno inondato i mercati globali a partire da Dalibor e dai suoi mercati iper deregolati, ma riguardo a queste ultime proposte credo che potremmo incontrare serie difficoltà tra le altre forze politiche fautori di un'intervento statale minimo, ai quali diciamo: noi stessi in primis siamo aperti ad un intervento statale il meno distorsivo possibile, ma sono discorsi e proposte che possono andar bene in casi di economia sana ed in espansione, ma oggi siamo di fronte ad una crisi come raramente se ne sono viste a livello mondiale e credo che escludere interventi "anomali" per questioni ideologiche sia semplicemente stupido e pericoloso.
Infine, per quanto riguarda possibili investimenti in deficit, non escludiamo nemmeno quello: in primis il budget istaliano per decenni ha accumulato surplus non indifferenti ma in generale siamo fiduciosi del fatto che le riforme da noi proposte, se implementate, potranno invitare all'acquisto di titoli sia in patria come all'estero, titoli i cui interessi non crediamo causeranno problematiche eccessive per il Ministero delle Finanze e per il nostro budget e che quando l'economia ritornerà ad una situazione più stabile continueranno ad essere garantiti anche dalla stessa crescita economica futura, e siamo fiduciosi che se anche altre forze politiche vorranno credere in questo progetto, ciò si realizzerà.

In fact, with regard to the crisis, the considerable decline in global demand for goods and services is causing suffering for many istalian companies, while a general increase in commodity prices is increasing even more the import costs, especially for the transformation industrial sector.
In serious crisis indeed the automotive sector due to a massive collapse in sales and, above all, Estal decided to the closure of two industrial plants, both in Trivendito, which have left on the street twelve thousand workers, while corporate leaders are about to proceed with a restructuring plan that could lead to mobility for many other workers.
However, the recent events that have involved Istalia on the international level have greatly helped several sectors which in many other economies have come into serious crisis, in particular the defense sector: for a few years Istalia has officially established its own protectorate on the kalopian region of Mossavi and this led the Government to sustain a major defense spending, but also to sign several agreements with the defense industry, primarily the multinational Leonardi, for supply-related orders for the Mossavian contingent and for the maintenance and updating of equipements used in the Protectorate to ensure the safety of the territory and for several years there was talk of a tender procedure for the production of a vehicle specifically suited to operate in the rough mountain regions of the north Mossavi and then in the central desert steppes.
In addition, some clever economic regulations, not only never abrogated but even strengthened a few decades ago after the istalian crisis of the 70s, primarily the banking sector regulations that obliged financial institutions to separate financial assets, much more at risk, than ordinary banking, prevented the major Financial groups in the country were involved in a domino effect, even though the institutions exclusively addressing finance were not protected.

That is why the Liberal and Progressive Secretariat, the heir of the Social Liberal Party, comes to an ambitious program to reform the economy and to tackle the crisis, a recipe set up above all by Filippo Marra, a young economy professor at Enrico Bergson University and a member of the party, which exposes its thesis:

The key word today is support demand and consumption! We need to spur companies to produce and then to create work and to make it Libertà e Progresso proposes the largest and most massive economic liberalization for at least fifty years, especially after the uncharted passage of the Nuova Socialdemocrazia's proposals that introduced laws to nationalize and extend the State control over many sectors.
Fortunately, it was a proposal that was not followed from the point of view of the implementing measures, but they are measures that should be readily abrogated otherwise the state will have to proceed before the deadline expires and now we don't believe we can afford to invest huge sums of money for sterile and useless nationalizations that would cause a far greater shock to the economic system and would discourage investors and companies.
In fact, if money is to be invested, we must do it on two very specific areas: to support the purchasing power of the population and then to stimulate the economy through the launch of major national projects involving the widest range of economic actors.
That is why my party proposes a series of measures that we are sure will guarantee much more freedom for businesses, will promote investment, will guarantee competition and therefore innovation, but above all will stimulate the creation of jobs.
Libertà e Progresso proposes a liberal reform at the stage of the entire national welfare system, which will stimulate the creation of an open and dynamic market and that, if it will proceed without shock to not aggravate the already difficult situation, it will also ensure the absorption of the unavoidable exuberances that will be created between the category of public employees.
Our proposal can be summarized in a few words: the State will continue to support our citizens, but they will decide how to spend their money!
In fact, we want to allow the market to develop primarily in the area of ​​social security and health, even though the state will continue to provide financial coverage for our citizens through tax deductions and subsidies. According to the calculations of the team I have led, the Government will thus be able to ensure more efficient allocation of resources and less waste in the years ahead and at the same time this will revitalize entire sectors, notably health and insurance, but above all with these measures will be the citizens to decide how their money will be spent and who will be to offer them their goods and services, but not just the citizens, even the employers will decide how to handle the money that is being paid to them today to contribute to their employees' social security and will be collective and/or individuals bargaining to ensure the best solutions for companies and workers, even because our party will continue to defend the broader protection for workers' rights.
But these reforms will also cover a number of other sectors, in particular municipal utilities and therefore the infrastructure sector: public authorities at all levels will have to open up to the private sector for the management of services such as public lighting, waste management, maintenance of public property, etc... and above all at the local level, we are sure that this will provide great opportunities for a myriad of small and medium entrepreneurs, an important reality for Istalia as our greatest multinationals.
Obviously, however, we can not open these important and sensitive sectors to the private sector without rules to protect consumers, but above all, in the light of recent scandal events, we can not allow all this to be exploited by a few to enrich themselves with actions that would vanish all purpose of competitiveness, innovation and development.
For this reason, our party, explicitly inspired by a recent legislation introduced in Kazulia, wants to submit an anti-corruption text and secure funds to the Ministry of Finance to strengthen monitoring and give it effective control tools.
We are also aware that this will initially cause some problems, especially for thousands of public employees, for this reason our party does not want to touch the legislation about the support for unemployed and families, and even the progressive transition to the new public-private system will be conducted respecting well-defined steps that will allow for a passage of deliveries between public administration and private companies that will be able to guarantee the absorption of excesses quickly, because we certainly do not want to repeat the mistakes of the past with harsh, draconian and unmonitored measures that would cause problems far greater not only in economic but also on the social field.
However, all these measures primary will lead to huge savings for the entire public bureaucracy but most importantly it will release very important funds which the state will be able to invest in national projects which will help the private sector to regain breaths and we already have two important proposals on the table : The completion of the Trans-Majatran Corridors project by launching projects on the rail network and thus the expansion of the Triesta Port, so that it can significantly increase its annual freight traffic potential, which we believe will attract global trade , thanks to our historic opening to free trade, but above all thanks to our diplomatic activity to bring Kalopia-Wantuni and therefore Solentia to adhere to the aforementioned Trans-Majatran Corridors Agreement which will ensure we are certain an increase in exports to the continent, above all, will favor the millions of kalopian in our Protectorate who now that they are finding some stability after a nearly secular anarchy they will have access easily to our istalian products.
But the savings that will result from the reform of public administrations and bureaucracy not only will allow us to support national projects, but will also give us the opportunity to cut taxes on consumption and for companies, a simplification and reduction of income tax, a measure which will protect the purchasing power of our citizens and therefore will release funds to ensure tax incentives to start-up and young people who want to invest in creating new businesses, and for this last point we will take the cue from a past government program known as Istalia Nuova, one of the most important stimulus programs for the economy of the last hundred and fifty years and which we believe will guarantee good results as mach as it did in the past.

I hope that this program will receive the necessary support from the country's political forces and that it can now help to make good prospects for the financial markets and the stock exchanges.

DI SALVO (P.A.I.): BERLUSCONI SI DIMETTA, L'ISTALIA ALLA DERIVA

E' una cosa inaudita, alla nostra interrogazione parlamentare urgente sul perché dopo un anno non esiste nessun governo in Istalia Berlusconi ha avuto il coraggio di affermare che il governo deve presentarlo la minoranza del Fronte Democratico. E' inaccettabile. Chiameremo allo sciopero generale contro la paralisi di governo che viene pagata dai cittadini giorno dopo giorno. Berlusconi è un irresponsabile, chiederemo le sue dimissioni.
