After Luthorian Officials explained that the security council had gone inactive, multiple officials in Eroncourt had an idea to start a process and bid for Lourenne to be chosen for Security Council Seat D. Early November of 4399, Eroncourt began to see that Luthorian officials were correct and that only Luthori and Istalia had been contributing to the security council and its resolutions. If elected to security council, Lourennais Diplomats and ambassadors have explained that they will immediately begin to work with other nations in the security council so that further cooperation may exist between the nations in it.

Lourenne will seek to get votes from all countries. The Campaign slogan for Lourenne's bid is "Lourenne for Lively Lands". This slogan means that Lourenne will work hard and continuously for the life and prosperity of all nations who support it. The Lourennais Campaign is focused on peace and progress for the security council and the resolutions that are passed within it. It is uncertain whether Lourenne will be included in the security council or not, however, Lourenne will continue its internationalist foreign policy without a hault

After years of work and months of planning, The Renewable Energy Project lead by Energy Firm TLG Écologie, The Lourennais Libéral-Vért Coalition, and Minister of Environment and Tourism Henriette DeChambeau, was completed in the Arrondissements of Louives, Jôviant, and Carolleux. The project was planned and approved in 4395 by officials who met in Thiers-Noel. The Renewable Energy Project approved more than 600 windmills spread out in three different regions, four new solar panel fields in Louives, and the construction of three hydroelectric power plants at the edges of the Tarentin River. Construction of the new energy sources began immediately after the project was approved. The solar panel fields were the first to be built. Solar panel fields were built in Western Louives near the technological Vallée Orée (Golden Valley). Multiple Companies situated in the Golden Valley agreed to power most of their buildings with the new solar panels that were built. Solar panel fields took up a space of five acres at all three locations where they were built. Most of the locations where the solar panels were built are now powered through solar energy.

Windmill Area in Carolleux (Below)
Image

Also built in the lowerlands of Lourenne were giant windmills. 600 windmills were built in Carolleux and Louives, two areas were located in Carolleux and one in Louives. Windmills took years to build and were specifically built in Louives and Carolleux because of their lowlands. Four hundred wind mills were built from imported steel and their engines were built and manufacturered from Lourennais companies located in Outannais. Each windmill took approximately 6 months to complete, however, thousands of workers helped to complete all six hundred windmills in a period of eight years.

Reporters asked people what they think and feel about the new Renewable Energy Project. These are the comments:

Question: What do you think of the new energy windmills?

Female, 23: Oh my God. They're so big!

Male, 56: Hold my beer, I didn't think that this would bring energy to my home!

Male,26: I think this is a great idea for all people that live within the area. Our next step should be to expand renewable energy to all of Lourenne.

Child, 7: What's a windmill?

Female, 34: What a great idea! They're big, white, and energize my home! How swell

The Renewable Energy Project is a large success for Louives, Carolleux, and Jôviant. Thousands of homes along the Tiratin River are now powered with hydroelectric power, solar energy, and wind power. Rural areas are content with the energy around the area and river villages are now successfully powered.

Femme, 23 ans: Oh mon Dieu.

After years of construction, planning, and tedious work, The Amoudry Tennis complex has been completed. New to the area are 10 total courts, 1 in the 30,000 capacity Stade D'Amoudry. The project took over 6 years to complete. All tennis courts in the complex are hard courts and the main court is of clay. The tennis complex at Amoudry was built next to the golf complex and fields where the Lourennian Open Golf tournament was held. The tennis complex was opened at noon on March 3rd, 4404. The mayor of Amoudry, Orinco native Citlali Mecatl, was there to formally open the facilities along with CEO of Technologie Astéria Germain LeVert. Technologie Astéria had a major role in the construction of the tennis complex as they supplied all modern technology to the complex.

The tennis complex was opened and hundreds of tennis players and city residents walked onto the courts. People walked around the courts looking at the new technology that the facility has. Players quickly rushed onto the courts to start matches. The Grand opening of the facility was open to the community, however the facilities will only be open to the community three times a week. The Amoudry Tennis Complex will serve as training grounds for Lourennais tennis players, youth training organizations, and a venue for Tennis tournaments. The official Technologie Astéria WiFi-computer center is popular among the people who visited the place. There is no word on a Lourennais Tennis Tournament soon, but many residents in Amoudry have expressed their interest in one.
