Hours after the final sortie by the Air-Force had been conducted, Lourennais Airborne paratroopers and marines launched a two pronged assault into Temania, under the banner of Operation Urgent Gap. According to military intelligence, after the Port of Lokomariya had been captured by Lourennais airborne troops and "little green men", the spearhead force of the Lourennais intervention force, formed a base of operations at the Port. Immediately after declaring the port secure, some 1,000 marines and 10,000 ground forces troops were brought in via ship. According to military intelligence, Lourennais armoured reconnaissance vehicles, armoured personnel carriers and main battle tanks had been brought into the port via amphibious assault ships. Whilst Kazulian troops will never be seen on the ground, Kazulian logistical support is set to enhance the capabilities and movement of the Lourennais Armed Forces. Kazulian HC-17s reportedly airlifted Lourennais Airborne and reinforcing ground personnel into the Enunin Municipal Airport, which acts as the principle base of operations for the wider Operation Puma. Kazulian military intelligence had been extremely critical to the success of the initial invasion, as kazulian reconnaissance aircraft and other intelligence means were utilised on pinpointing positions of belonging to the Imperial Army, the PDF and the FDF.The intervention by Lourenne and partially Kazulia had been welcomed by the majority of the civilian population who disengaged themselves from support for the Imperial Government, the FDF and the PDF. According to statements from Commander of Operation Puma, Général de corps d'armée Jean-Jacques Lalande, the principle objective of the intervention was to uphold the civilian population and put an end to the reckless disregard of civilian life by the PDF, the FDF and the Imperial Government. Lalande stated that several high-ranking members of the PDF, the FDF and the Imperial Government had been targeted by either airstrikes or special operations action. Lalande stated that the mission would be complete if the PDF, the FDF and the Imperial Government had either make active efforts to move towards a permanent peace agreement or they had been either completely removed from the equation. Currently, Lourennais troops are established a sizeable pocket within southern Temania. With reports of a potential intervention by the New Aldurian Defence Force, the Lourennais troops are set to intensify their operations in the coming days.
